This is so cute! Dark Shadow would cause so many problems not under Tokoyami’s supervision, but hey that’s what 1A is about right? Mina being his second choice babysitter is super interesting too. I don’t think she would be the most responsible, but I do think she would be great with kids and otherwise-newly-formed-humans

Midoriya and Dark Shadow would be such a disastrous friendship. Leave the two of them alone in a room for a few minutes and you won’t even be able to find the room itself let alone them

I know Midoriyeehaw is Y'all Might's protégé, but Kaminari and he absolutely bond over people hating them for riding exotic animals (a giraffe and a zebra) even though they got them legally and care for them to a T

They would get so much hate for it, but I Love the idea of them bonding over that! Everyone else is just jealous of their super cool animals and they know it (and definitely play into it for fun)

Ok, another Horse girl AU idea because I'm in love with everyone's addition:

Dabi and his horse got stuck in a barn fire on Endeavor's farm. Causing Dabi to leave with his signature purple scars and his horse (Which I shall name Crema short for Cremation) to have narly scars around it's face and legs. It's torso remainly largely untouched because Dabi tried desperately to put a fire resistant blanket around Crema, leaving himself open to the flames.

This causes them to have a unbreakable bond and means Crema puts 100% into each race to make Dabi proud.

Ugh this so sad but I love it. Theyre by far the closest pairing for sure: they would die for each other no questions asked. I think they would play into their looks a lot too- their riding style is very unique and often involves psyching out opponents (perhaps by cornering them or forcing opponents to make really risky moves to pass them) and their appearance/decoration competitions typically have dark or spooky themes to them

I've been showing my friend that inspired the Horse AU stuff from your tumblr, they've got a kick out of it. But with that one Giraffe suggestion they thought of All might out of his muscle form. So ya'll might owns and rides a Giraffe.

Scrungly All Might very casually wandering by on a giraffe at a horse stable is absolutely Hilarious. Aizawa would be so tired of his shit because whenever he does the whole class has to stop to gawk at the literal giraffe in the stable

Houre Gurl AU, this is incredibly long and I'm sorry for that: Bakugou's horse is a gorgeous white thoroughbred gelding. He talks to him like the horse murdered his mother but he also brushes him every single day, makes sure he's never too cold or hot or lonely anything, feeds him healthy treats, constantly checks for any sign of illness. He doesn't yank him around when he's riding him, in fact he's really good at working with him. He dotes on that thing but would never admit it ever. But the horse is always spotless, even when it just rained and it's really muddy out. No one knows how he does it. Also Bakugou named his horse like an eight-year-old boy bc let's be honest, he named himself like an eight-year-old boy.

I want Midoryeehaw to have a Shetland so bad. Like it doesn't exactly fit with the flashiness of One For All, but he's a small, light kid and I want him to have a Shetland. If not a Shetland, at least the personality of a Shetland. She's a descendant of the pony Y'all Might had as a child. Both of them are mean little shits but Y'all Might's was well-behaved for him only. Midoryeehaw is working on getting his to behave. But both horses also love attention so during competitions they're always showing off and looking like dream horses while in private Midoryeehaw just managed to get her to stop biting him.

Uraraka has an elderly, third-hand school pony whom she absolutely loves. He's not much to look at, but every riding instructor ever would meet him and go, "This pony is amazing. I wish I had him for my students."

Tsuyu's horse loves swimming. They go to the local body of water on the weekends and swim. She invites her friends sometimes. Bakugou always says no because his horse spooks at the sight of water.

Aoyama has one of those Spanish gated horses. I think they're called Pacifinos? His is palomino.

Toga has a delicate little mare named Rose who can and will bite your fingers off. She loves Toga tho.

The phrase "He talks to him like the horse murdered his mother" is so funny I love that visual. Just gently brushing him, speaking to him in the softest voice, "You little piece of shit. Youre the worst creature on this fucking planet". The horse is named something like Super Sonic Exploding Fighter Jet

Uraraka's is so cute! I can just imagine her letting little kids who come to watch her competitions feed and pet him

Maybe Tsu's horse would be a Camargue? Theyre a little smaller, which would probably work better for her, but theyre naturally from more marshy areas and have wide hooves for traversing softer ground

A Paso Fino would definitely fit Aoyama! I think theyd prefer doing showmanship events as opposed to races/jumping/etc since its more about presentation and the horse's appearance

And of course Toga's horse has to be just as much of a menace as she is! Not only would she bite off your fingers, she would kick you too

Okay, but between Y'all Might calling him Midoriyeehaw, Bakugou calling him Yeehaw and Midoriya himself yelling yeehaw every chance he gets, I imagine something like this would happen sooner or later:

Every single person there thinks his name is last name Midor, first name Yeehaw. It gets to the point where he starts getting registered in competitions as Midor Yeehaw and its a huge scandal of the equestrian world when he finally announces thats not actually his name

I think it's hilarious that in the HORSE AU we have:

Midoryeehaw with a donkey

Kaminari with a zebra

Mineta with a pony

Any day now one of the kids will show up riding a giraffe and their poor perpetually tired instructor (Aizawa) will only sigh and say "why not? You can assume your position besides the zebra"

At this point its just the “riding animals that are kept in a stable” au. If you could fit a giraffe in there Aizawa would absolutely just pretend its normal and order an extra large saddle

Ok Im not 100% sure if you meant like. Broad head canons or a fanfic but I interpreted it as the latter so. Sorry I'm not a good writer and Ive never written fanfic, but hopefully you enjoy!

"Come on! You can't just stand there!" Midoriya cried, giving another tug on his donkey's bridle.

It was hopeless, why was he even trying? The race was already more than half finished, and Retasu seemed determined to never move for as long as she lived.

Midoriya let go of the bridle, defeated, and shuffled his way to Retasu's side. He slid down to the dusty ground and drew his knees to his face. "I just..." He choked back a sob as tears began to sting his eyes. "I just wanted to win. Everyone always told me I couldn't, and I just thought t-that maybe I could prove them wrong. Maybe I could make mom and Y'all Might proud..." A stray tear rolled down his cheek, threatening to pull a thousand more behind it.

A moment passed before a soft huff sounded behind him. He turned slightly and was bumped on the cheek by Retasu's snout.

"It's alright Retasu-chan, the race is too far over now."

That earned Midoriya another bump from her snout, this time on his shoulder. He reached out to pet her, only for her to rear back and whack her snout off his head. He leaped to his feet and stared in confusion at the stubborn donkey, unsure of what to do.

Her hooves stomped at the ground impatiently as she let out a loud bray. She made her way back to Midoriya's side and pressed against him, as though urging him to get back in the saddle.

Midoriya watched her, dumbstruck. "Do you... do you want to try to finish the race?" He asked tentatively, earning him another enthusiastic bray. With that, he jumped back into the saddle and took hold of her bridle again.

"All right, if you think we can do this," Retasu stamped her hooves eagerly. "Let's try our best then!" He cried triumphantly. "Yeehaw!" And with that they were off, Retasu galloping full-steam ahead.

In the Horse Rider AU, instead of calling Midoriya "Deku" as an insult, Bakugou simply calls him "Yeehaw" in the most condescending tone ever heard by humankind and horsekind alike!

I love the implication that if he just didnt say it weirdly it would be totally normal and acceptable

Also concept: Midoriya making his hero name Deku is replaced with him starting to yell “Yeehaw” at the start of every competition

Also, I'm losing my mind that the Horse AU I brought up is getting so big. A friend of mine brought up the image I sent you and I thought AFO and Yoichi being horse girls was funny. Now we have Zebra's, Mineta having horse diet, Momo having a fancy horse and Midoryeehaw having an iron will with a donkey. I love how this is going.

You know those HUGE horses that march on those royal british things? With the really furry legs? That look like they can carry four people at once?

Momo can ride them. Although she usually favors smaller breeds for racing.

Im assuming you mean Clydesdales!

I think it would be really cool if she grew up with them! Im sure Momo's family could afford the space/resources required for such big horses, and theyre typically pretty gentle so she could have even started out on them as a kid. I think she'd be really into dressing them up as well and making them look like real royalty!
