Magical Vacation trivia - Neumann

Did you know that Neumann the Magical Rocket underwent at least six prototype designs?

In the MagiVaca Gallery section of Brownie Brown's old website, they featured lots of concept art and other ideas that were scrapped before the release of Magical Starsign. Neumann, your handy interplanetary transport vessel, went through quite a few changes!

The first few designs were called 魔バスロケット (magic bus rocket), and supposedly had Mokka affixed to the top.

Neumann's third iteration was especially unique. While its main purpose was to take you through the cosmos, it was also planned to turn into a robot! Robot-Neumann would fight in "Space Battles", which as the name implies, were enemy encounters in space. The player could even upgrade and customize Neumann for galactic combat! However, this idea was scrapped due to time constraints.

(...Perhaps Space Battles would have worked similarly to AGWS/AMWS/ES mecha in the Xenosaga trilogy, or Soldats in Trails of Cold Steel?)

Although these designs were not properly archived on the Wayback Machine, you can find all of Neumann's prototypes submerged in the Ships' Graveyard on Erd!
