I am now officially playing Path of Neo.

(For reference: the only action game I've tried to play before this is fallout new vegas, and I got stuck in its tutorial level because I couldn't shoot the tin cans off the fence. I only made it through Legends Arceus by mashing the "let me start from where I left off with full health pwease 🥺" button 6 times per bossfight)

So far I've managed to:

Die 1 minute into the difficulty-determining challenge & get assigned Easy Difficulty Level For Babies

Fail the cubicle stealth level multiple times (midway through, they stopped giving me Glowing Green Boxes to run to, and made me start making directional and stealth choices manually 😔)

Fling Neo off a roof to his death, because I accidentally hit the "let go of ledge" button instead of the "pull yourself up from ledge" button

See a cop running up, assume the game wanted me to push him off the roof to progress, and go "okay Neo. You have to kill a man. I know you're still an ordinary office worker. But you're already a wanted man, might as well go all in." I waste a couple minutes grappling with the cop (I couldn't shove him unless he was standing, so every time he got knocked over, I had to wait politely for him to get up). I finally manage to push him over the edge. And then I realize: all I actually had to do was shove him once and run for a ladder. I made Neo put murder on his conscience for nothing 😔

Get grabbed by more cops, while mashing the "wiggle out of their grasp & shove them" button and going "wiggle, Neo!!! wiggle for your life!!!!!"

Game over repeatedly in the same spot, which meant I kept having to watch the same cutscene where Smith goes "In a hurry to meet someone? I only want a moment of your time." With every replay, it sounded more like "noooo, don't run to your motorcycle date with Trinity. You're supposed to have a date with me!"

Finally make it past that spot, round a corner, and immediately run Neo straight into a hail of bullets (this was the very first cop to try shooting him instead of Letting Him Wiggle)

I did finally manage to get him to his motorcycle date, though. 😮‍💨 "Experience the power of being The One!" okay, but I don't feel like I am Neo. I feel like I'm babysitting him. Badly.

Blue/Green. Think the colour of stanky ocean water (said with all the love in the world for stanky ocean water, if you can believe it)

Scary movie or happy ending?

I'm not really a scary movie person so happy ending it is lol which is a funny statement for everyone familiar with my tragedy and angst-loving ways

Any special talents?

Choosing to rephrase "I can't whistle the right way" into "I can whistle by sucking air in instead of blowing out" here. Embracing it as a special talent now.

What are your hobbies?

I am a couch potato that loves tv/movies/video games, but I also love to write and sew. I make my own cosplay 😊 I also just like walking places

Have any pets?

No 😔 in a pet-free apartment but I desperately want a cat. I grew up with many many dogs though and I sometimes miss the chaos (not enough to actually talk to my mom though haha)

What sports do you play/have you played?

I did soccer and cross country growing up but unfortunately didn't keep up the habit as an adult. Why is adult exercise so lonely

English and Math!

Dream job?

I always wanted to be a writer growing up so I guess that's still my answer. Not even necessarily writing fiction as I'd originally hoped -- I'd probably enjoy writing manuals for kitchen appliances tbh. Not to be too practical about a Dream Job question, but I honestly like my current job and it's not really important to me to do what I'm passionate about for a living. As long as my job keeps me learning and being challenged, I'm good. The only parts I really hate about my job are the tech office job bullshit parts where I have to pretend to care about whatever a "growth mindset" is and doing mandatory AI training.

Modern!Cowboy/Redneck!Hunter Headcanons

Hunter would definitely be that one guy that did everything for everyone

If he saw an old lady locked out of their car?

He'd find a way to break in without damaging the car.

Saw someone broke down?

He'd help them with their troubles.

Saw you struggling to lift something heavy?

He'd be on top of things and most definitely helping you any chance he could.

Hunter would also have his days where he struggled to talk to people, as he does in the series and TCW.

He'd spend those days with you at home.

He'd probably still have a sensory issue, just it wouldn't be as bad as in the star wars verse, since this is based in a modern-day type au.

He would have a dog. Probably a German Shepard or a Black lab.

They would go everywhere with him

When you're somewhere out of town, whether it be for work or to visit family. The dog is always under his arm for comfort.

When you're home, he's hugging on you and the dog is normally at the foot of the bed.

Hunter loves taking you joy riding.

The two of you'll be gone for hours just to take a ride in his pickup.

He'd bring blankets so the two of you could cuddle in the bed of the truck and star gaze.

He'd sometimes fall asleep on your shoulder if he's had a rough day.

If you can drive Stick he's gonna lose his shit

That's the hottest shit in his eyes, doesn't really even know why.

And if you can and will do a lot of yard work and manual labor?

Lawd have mercy he's gunna bust.

Omega is his adopted daughter who you end up adopting as your own once you and Hunter get serious.

After a couple years she's a nosy girl all

"When will I get a sister?"

"Or a brother! Or either! I just want a sibling."

You'd get flustered, you and hunter rarely talk about kids

But after that the conversation strikes up that night and you admit you've wanted a couple kids of your own.

Hunter goes absolutely feral on you that night.

Mans always wanted his own kids

He'd crack jokes about having more helping hands on the farm

Oh, Hunter absolutely loves swimming too

He just seems like he would be that one guy that would be in the middle of the lake just having the time of his life, not even worrying about getting back to shore or the fact he could get ran over by some dumbass on a boat.

Who thinks about that when there's all this water to swim?

He would most definitely start building things for your future kids.

Even if you weren't pregnant, yet.

He'd make a whole ass tree house and Omega would use it for the next few years because,

"Hunter, a baby or even a toddler cannot climb in trees!"

"Oh right-"

You'd make him happy each time you even spoke kind words to his brothers.

Let alone when you would help them.

Some days he'd just stand sad watch you help Tech gather supplies for his creations

Or when you'd help Wrecker with the garden

Or when you'd just sit and converse with Crosshair, even if the conversation was more one sided.

Or even when you'd help Echo around when his prosthetics bothered him.

His favorite things to see is sunrise and the sun beaming through the window to gentle kiss your skin.

He'd also definitely take you to races or demolition derbies.

Which you'd go to as long as the two of you could walk around after and just hold hands.

His favorite thing to do with you is hiking!

He loves it because it's just you, him, Omega and nature. Since Omega often tags along.

He love watching you play around with Omega

Or when the two of you catch frogs or lizards.

The one time he was smiling like an idiot just because Omega was chasing you with something you hated and he thought it was the funniest shit ever.

Oh, Hunter also gets you your own bandana to wear

Because once when you were doing yard work you used one of his to keep your bangs from your eyes and to collect sweat

He swears it was the hottest thing he'd ever seen.

My 8bitdo SN30 Pro+ Review - Part 12 (Recorded Video) [Jun 3, 2021]

Hi, here’s my Part 12 of my 8bitdo SN30 Pro+ Gamepad.🎮🙂

In today’s part… I would like address something gone wrong.😟 And as you can see on my recorded video, I will explain it right now…

*But before that, I want YOU… Yes you, which you’re reading my description. I want you to watch my recorded video first 📹📲 (as a observation) before you read the rest of my reaction experience. Hope you’re watching…

NOTE: My original video size is 149MB, so I can’t upload it via tumblr with the original. But thanks to cloudconvert.com [CLICK ME!], I could squeeze in the size while the video quality is intact; even though it’s a little bit different, but at least it’s the same as the original one.🎦🔄

So without further ado, let’s get started:

My Story: • Yesterday, while I’m playing my usual PC Game - Grand Theft Auto V Online I notice something, when I try to use the right analog stick on my right thumb, the stick itself is suddenly move when I let go with my right thumb (both in wired and wireless mode). Making it a circling around the camera, thus the “joystick drift” problem. In my experience of my gaming using the controller, I haven’t encounter this malfunction before until now; and I’m so worried.😟I tried to re-plugged in wired with my included USB type C cable or turning off my controller and reconnect via bluetooth and the results are the same. So the only thing solution now is to update my 8bitdo controller’s firmware with “8bitdo Firmware Updater” (Please [CLICK ME!] to know how). Once I open the updater, the company just receive their latest update for my SN30 Pro+ controller, here you can see the description from my screenshot.↓

• So yeah I go ahead update it from v5.00 to v5.01, which I already did. Now the question is, will it fix my right analog stick’s joystick drift? Well the answer is on my recorded video.🎦

• On my first test using gamepad tester website [CLICK ME!], the right joystick’s malfunction is still there. But when I open the 8bitdo’s ultimate software it had a little bit drift. Well sort of.😕 Here take a look of my screenshot.↓

• I try to use my manual air blower tool through inside of the right joystick without disassemble from my controller; probably because there are few dusts inside that need to be remove, but the malfunction remains.😔

Aftermath: •After doing some troubleshoot problems with my 8bitdo gamepad’s right joystick, it suddenly... Or in this case, miraculously working well now!😮 When I played GTA V online and a little bit test play in GTA San Andreas, I’m utterly surprise and relief 😮‍💨that the right analog stick is now cured from joystick drift! I guess the micro dusts was the culprit after all (thank goodness I have a air blower tool), and thanks with 8bitdo SN30 Pro+’s recent firmware update v5.01 that indicates “Optimized the accuracy of the joystick”; I can play again without floss whatsoever, particularly the right joystick. When I go back to Gamepad Tester once more as well as the 8bitdo’s Ultimate Software, it seems to be very fine now compare to hours ago during my recording video. Furthermore, the drift unquestionably remains but it still centered. I just don’t why...🤨 Here take a look of my screenshot.↓

• Weird huh... But at least it finally solved my problem.

Overall: • I’m having a mixed feelings. At first glance, I’m a little worried 😟 between from yesterday and now, because my recent 8bitdo gamepad will soon to be useless. But hours later after I tackle the joystick drift on the right side, I’m now completely relief and solve the problem 😮‍💨 with firmware update and a manually remove micro dust with a air blower tool. BUT only time will tell if my 8bitdo gamepad continues to be a well function controller in the lifespan before I buy/order a new one in the form of “Pro 2″ controller (the predecessor of the SN30 Pro+) .🎮 I the meantime, my problem is solved (for now) and I’m very happy to play again with my SN30 Pro+ gamepad.🙂

BTW: As for my Skull & Co. review for my 8bitdo gamepad, I’ll get to that very soon. I’m still using the “Skin Grip” rubber caps though.😉
