Gemeente Westerkwartier gaat verder uitzoeken wat de beste optie is voor een centraal gemeentehuis. Het bestaande gemeentehuis Zuidhorn blijft in beeld en er wordt ook gekeken naar nieuwbouw mogelijkheden. Nieuwbouw in de wijk De Oostergast in Zuidhorn en nieuwbouw op het terrein van de Hoofdstraat 101-1 in Midwolde zijn mogelijke locaties. Wethouder Bert Nederveen: ‘Het doel en de wens is om onze kantoormedewerkers centraal te huisvesten in een duurzaam en toekomstbestendig pand. We willen verder onderzoeken of het onder bepaalde voorwaarden toch mogelijk is om gemeentehuis Zuidhorn uit te breiden en we nemen twee nieuwbouwvarianten in het onderzoek mee.’ Voorstel gemeenteraad Het gemeentehuis in Zuidhorn is nu te klein om daar met alle kantoormedewerkers van de gemeente te gaan werken. De gemeente wil graag een centrale plek voor haar medewerkers voor goede samenwerking en ontmoeting. Een pand dat duurzaam, energieneutraal en toekomstbestendig wordt. Het afgelopen jaar zijn vijf plannen uitgewerkt voor een uitbouw van het gemeentehuis. Bij al deze plannen loopt de gemeente tegen allerlei nadelen aan. Om een betere afweging te kunnen maken wil het college van burgemeester en wethouders dat er een aanvullend onderzoek komt. Dit voorstel neemt de gemeenteraad op 12 maart in behandeling. Meer duidelijkheid nodig over gemeentehuis Het aanvullende onderzoek moet meer duidelijkheid geven of een uitbreiding van het gemeentehuis Zuidhorn eventueel toch op een andere manier mogelijk is met andere voorwaarden: Kan de busbaan worden verlegd? Is een aparte vergaderlocatie een optie? Is het mogelijk om een extra verdieping te creëren. Ook twee nieuwbouwlocaties worden meegenomen in het onderzoek. Vervolgens worden deze mogelijkheden afgezet tegen een aantal afwegingscriteria zoals: financiën, doorlooptijd, bereikbaarheid, duurzaamheid, toekomstbestendigheid e.d. Resultaten van het onderzoek verwachten we na de zomer. Huisvesting gemeente Westerkwartier Gemeente Westerkwartier gaat van vijftien gebouwen terug naar acht gebouwen. Dit is een besluit van de gemeenteraad in 2022. Door de gemeentelijke herindeling in 2019 en een nieuwe manier van werken heeft de gemeente minder gebouwen nodig. Daarnaast is een aantal gebouwen oud en in slechte onderhoudsstaat en de gemeente wil graag verduurzamen. Gemeentehuis Leek werd in oktober 2023 al verkocht en maakt plaats voor een nieuwe duurzame woonwijk, plan Klein Nienoord. Op bedrijventerrein Leeksterveld start na de zomer van 2024 de bouw van een energieneutraal pand dat o.a. het verouderde gebouw Feithsweg 4 van Novatec en de gemeentewerf bij gemeentehuis Leek zal vervangen.

Para culminar con la serie de artículos sobre las novedades en la línea para carretera de Felt 2016  (para consultar el artículo uno da clic aquí, para consultar el segundo artículo da clic aquí) nos gustaría cerrar con la gama para pruebas contrarreloj y triatlón (series IA y B) y la gama para pista (serie Tk). Detalles para la IA Series y B Series Particularmente la serie IA de Felt, muy similar a la serie AR, se mantendrá sin cambios para el 2016. En particular esta bicicleta, Integrated Aero (IA), fue revelada desde el 2013 con la promesa de ser líderes en la industria aerodinámica para realmente crear una verdadera plataforma que permita impulsar a los corredores al ir hacia al frente (sólo en ciertas condiciones). Con detalles que la hacen totalmente para pruebas UCI, la bicicleta cuenta con profundos tubos, frenos envolventes, tirante montados hacia abajo, compartimientos ocultos y manillar con propiedad para ocultar cables. If you have watched a video or two of Zach Gallardo, you’d probably heard him mention Reynolds tubing. I wanted to see for myself what the hype is about, so I went and got the U1 Unbreakable frame from Pizz. Between its classic lugged fork and tracklocross geometry, I figured I’d go for a neo-retro look. I looked for Mash steel builds online for inspiration. The idea was to have a black centerpiece and silver appendices. Silver seat post and handlebar with black stem and grips to add contrast.

Triple silver circles, say that 10 times fast, is in effect at the drivetrain. Silver hubs, black cog, silver chainring, black cranks linked together by the ever-reliable Izumi Jet black, staying true to the black/silver motif. While a Sugino crank arm would have been the popular choice, the Sram Omnium with Wellgo pedal cleats puts the “neo” in this neo-retro styling.

Steel frames are already comfortable but as a daily driver I wanted more. The frame can fit up to 45c tires, but I went and got 32s to balance comfort and speed. Donnelly and Brooks C17 Specials do a remarkable job in soaking up bumps and the matching colors are just cherry on top.

ViraWarn, which is presently in ongoing clinical trials and is in FDA review and not yet available for sale, is a new way to self-test for COVID-19, Influenza, and RSV through breath analysis that provides instant results. ViraWarn is user-friendly and does not require deep nasal swabs. Just turn it on, breathe twice into the mouthpiece, and the LED light will indicate a positive or negative result in under 60 seconds. The device is reusable, only requiring the bio-sensor cartridge to be replaced after a positive result or after a period of 2 weeks of daily use.
