Jusqu’au 26 février 2023, le globe painter Seth a posé ses valises sur la péniche Fluctuart, le centre parisien d’art urbain flottant, amarrée à proximité du pont Alexandre III. Une exposition « empreinte / carbone » retrace son travail réalisé dans de nombreux pays ces dix dernières années. Dans le Donbass ou en Palestine en guerre, à Shangaï où les vieux quartiers font place à la Chine nouvelle, en Indonésie, au Sénégal, … Julien Malland, de son vrai nom, représente des enfants sans visage, images universelles de l’innocence dans un monde en pleine métamorphose. Ses personnages donnent de la profondeur aux murs qu’il peint. Ils incitent le regardeur à s’immerger dans le contexte de l’oeuvre. Seth est un street artiste politique au sens étymologique du mot. Il nous interpelle sur l’organisation et la gestion de la cité ou du village planétaire selon l’expression de McLuhan. Seth fait partie des 10 finalistes en lice pour la plus belle fresque murale au monde 2022. Il s’agit une fascinante anamorphose, baptisée le terrier, réalisée au Mans. The Shroud is, for Christians, the linen which covered the face of #jesus of #nazareth #palestine 🇵🇸 or the shroud which was used to wrap his body after death - in accordance with the method of burial in use among the Jews - before placing it in the tomb according to the New Testament. Linens assimilated to this event became the object of particular devotion all across Europe.
