Karina is Vietnamese and French, and perhaps not call her looks exotic as that's an extremely racist term to call a woman of color that doesn't fit the white norm. It's a backhanded compliment to say you're glad he's expanding his horizon by going with an exotic looking woman.

Um, I, Purv, am the one who used the term "exotic," that means I, Purv used it with a specific definition, connotation, reference point in MY mind, based on MY life experiences, and who I am as a person. YOU don't get to tell me how I used the term exotic. And I most certainly did NOT use it with any negative connotations, much less racist ones. So, SIT THE FUCK DOWN with that bullshit.

I, Purv, attribute POSITIVE things to the word exotic. And that's why I used it. Positive. Things. Exotic is beautiful in my mind. I consider myself QUITE exotic. Karina is BEAUTIFUL. And yes, exotic. But don't take MY word for it...

Here's Oxford defining "exotic" for you:

You said Karina is Vietnamese and French, sure sounds like TWO "foreign, distant countries" to me.

And if this 👇 isn't the definition of "attractive or striking because colorful or out of the ordinary" I don't know what is.

So if YOU consider me calling her exotic because she's not white, racist, the implication from YOU is that white is better than not white. That's YOU saying that, NOT me. YOU are the racist.

I’m gone for four days and I come back and find this over the light switch leading from the garage into the house.

These kids are way too smart and creative (and sneaky) for their own good. 

We’re going to eat well for a week or two.

I actually said that to the kids when we visited these guys and I think I traumatized them. For life.  I don’t think Addie and Kota will ever be the same.  I’ve never heard them scream that loud or seen them run that fast to their mother.
