1. Favorite main character and why they’re your favorite?

Tbh, it changes quite often, but it also typically varies between the same couple of characters. Right now it’s for sure Kyle, but growing up, it would typically be Kyle, Kenny or Stan (mostly Kyle or Kenny though), but then also, from like an entertainment stand point, it’s honestly Cartman? His centric episodes are so fucking funny, and always my favorites, but like, still I wouldn’t say he’s my favorite character, yk, like that means something else to me. So, yeah, going back… it’s for sure Kyle (as of right now and has been for some time now). Kyle is just so darn relatable to me, you know? Like I honestly just fully understand his character, and they’ve given him so much depth, like especially compared to the first couple seasons. I love how angry he gets; I love how much he cares. He tries so hard to do the right thing and is so paternal, and caring. He’s such a complex lil guy which is crazy to say about a 10 year old egg head but hey, it’s true. He also cracks me up and his speeches are outstanding. He is just so darn lovable and smart.

13. Favorite ship? Tell us why!

I really love cryle. I just think they are a super fun dynamic to work with and write and read about and visualize together. They just honestly complement one another in a lot of ways, and are very similar in other ways? It is just a really good balance. Their banter just comes so naturally, and there is even some actual, canonical things between them which are cute, ie, Craig telling him, “it’s ok, calm down,” while Kyle is angry and yelling about Cartman in TFBW. Some other lil bits of dialogue between them are also cute, to me, in TFBW. And honestly a lot of their canon moments are pretty civil? Like they honestly seem to get along well? Like there really only seems to be bad blood (the rivalry)between Stan and Craig, like that’s where most of that dialogue between the gangs lies, and also like Craig and Cartman but y’know, almost always it’s Cartman vs Everyone. But Kyle and Craig honesty seem to get along well enough most of the time? Like Craig tells Token to tell Kyle what’s going on in the honey boo boo episode, and other small interactions have appeared to show they are friendly with one another. Also, like the Free Willzyx episode? C’monnnnnnn. But even when they aren’t getting along it’s also so entertaining and great banter, and we all love enemies/rivals to lovers. Also, when Shiela is looking for Kyle in Sterilization as we Know It, the first place she looks for him is at Craig’s house?? Also, their moms have been seen to be friends which is just delicious material for the ship and head canons imo. Also, in Splatty Tomato, Craig just SO freely and eagerly, offers to help Kyle find Ike, like when has this boy ever, and I mean EVER, cared about helping them out when it has absolutely nothing to do with him? Like, Craig is sort of a lazy asshole, yknow, so like that was pretty nice of him to do. Also, “I think Clyde is kind of cool, but Craig is definitely cooler than Clyde.” But it’s not all these tiny things that happened in canon that make me ship them, or made me start to ship them, I just think they would have intellectual conversations and emotionally understand one another. I also just think they would be so perfect for domestic/established relationship would fit them so well. I don’t know. I just think they’re neat.

18. Describe an episode you’d like to see happen someday!

Oh man,,,,,, I don’t know. I would say to see them older but we got that 😭😭😭😭 maybe just an episode to focus on Kenny more? I would love another one that explored his immortality more. Also, just any episode where he talks and has his hood off? It is always so nice to get that. I just want an episode of them being kids again, y’know. I just wanna bring back the old vibes, them going on school field trips, style being super bffs, them doing funny pranks, or what not. I feel like it’s been a minute since we have seen Cartman do anything that fucked up - I would love to see that again. I’m not creative. Idk send them to Mars or something.

25. How and why did you get into South Park?

Oh man I don’t even remember!!!? I was pretty young when I started to watch. I’m not sure when I started? I think when I REALLY got into it, I was 13 and I would go to my friends house every day after school, and we would watch it because her cable box was set to record episodes every day so we always had new episodes to watch, and then I was like shit, I really like this show, damn and went off on my own and watched all the episodes on the South Park American website cuz they used to have ALL the episodes on there!!! and ever since then I’ve been on/off w my obsession with it!! I distinctly also remembering watching “you’re getting older” and just relating to it so much that it hurt me so deeply and I feel like that was one of the first times that I related with a character like a on a mental health stand point which is crazy when I think of it now with how much representation is out there for mental illness, but honestly there did not used to be as much when I was younger which is pretty sad? at least that I was aware of or watched? idk but honestly South Park has really good representation on mental health, and it’s just very realistic, even in the form of how they did it, with literally making everything appear like ACTUAL shit, and ACTUAL shit talking to Stan while ACTUAL shit fell from its mouth - like it’s kind of sad that for 13 year old me, this was the best, if not only, realistic/understandable mental health representation I had seen, but honestly ? also not sad at all and South Park just does an amazing job with it, which makes me sad for Trey cuz y’know that’s why, but ANYWAYS, this show just means a lot to me and makes me laugh, and gave me something to relate to when I was 13 and first started to be depressed, even when I didn’t understand what it was - like another scene I distinctly remember watching a ton is the scene with mr mackey and stan talking and also the goth kids episode and yeah, and this is why stan marsh will always hold a special place in my heart as well
