- Occasionally the cameras will change (im aiming for once per day) it’s your job to keep track of what happens on them!  - Usually the cameras will appear to be in static, but this post will be edited to have something show up on the camera! Grab it if you see it cos it may not be there for long!  - Cameras will sometimes have code, secret messages, something in their image or some sort of puzzle for you to solve!  - Players may communicate with one another in the comments of this post! Do not communicate where I, the mun, cannot see you. I need to be able to see your work so I can best shift the game as needed as the GM. I can’t help you if I can’t see you struggle!  - If you missed something, don’t worry, it might come back again later!  - Outside audience are permitted to send asks of encouragement to the blog that I will have anti respond to so the players can see. HOWEVER, audience are NOT allowed to assist the players. If an audience member assists, they will be automatically listed as playing the game. (only fair if youre gonna take part you can join em) - Players may use outside sources such as google to help solve puzzles.  - To document a change in the cameras, screenshotting is permitted and sending reblogs and tagging the players is a good way to keep everyone up to date. Just be sure to have the original camera post saved!  - One of you is a traitor! They will be working against you FOR anti as his puppet. They will be aiming to distract you, give you false information and if you don’t stop them they could get ALL of you killed! collect evidence of their lies and prove them the traitor! Present it to anti and he will concede. But you will still need to find your way out of the game!  - RESPECT. Respect each other. Fighting, bickering and the sort will not be tolerated. It’s a game, play nicely. Especially with accusations. Any name calling, arguing or disrespect to other players or Gm will result in removal from the game.

A few of us were talking in the Theory Discord about a potential Overnightwatch 2, & I really liked some ideas we thought of;

New location (possibly at the IRIS HQ?)

Different rooms (following the idea above); labs, staff break area, office study, experiment/ containment rooms, main entrance, generator, etc.

These cameras are actually the newest WTCHR ones.

So not only could we maybe see pan or /zoom effects, but also-

The health & emotional state of someone who may or may not even be on camera.

Those emotions could be shown in text or flash in color.

Ex; Henrik is working & suddenly; "Frustration. Confusion. Guilt."

Or; a breach happens elsewhere & shouts are heard while "fear Fear FEAR TERRO- no further data is available at this time."

Or; no one is seen except for glitches. "Bitterness. Rage. Health readings not present."

A camera could go faulty or [OFFLINE] without warning (or 1 could be like that at the very start of the night).

Then each camera goes down throughout the night...

IRIS could tweet out they're "currently working on the surveillance issues" or other updates in real time.

its so funny to me that christmas has become such an important selfship holiday considering antis whole Thing is halloween but like..hes a christmas boy. to me.

Of all the strange things you had done during your short time working for IRIS, this one had to be the strangest.

As one of the original Watchers for the company (just as efficient as those new cameras thank you very much) it was your job to keep an eye on certain assets. You'd never asked any questions before- you never needed to, as all your cases made sense. Of course they wanted you to keep an eye on the lead doctor and the first successful test subject (the latter of which seemed to be eluding you as of late). The Magician was a little questionable, but having read his file notes you figured there must have been a reason. And the Founder...

Well, he definitely had reasons for people wanting to keep tabs on him.

Still, this latest case had you wondering if maybe someone had switched the date for April Fools and this was all some kind of elaborate prank set up by the powers that be. Your eyes scanned the tablet on the table in front of you, one finger swiping down to read the entirety of the contents. The subject was a caucasian male, mid-30s, with brown hair and blue eyes. There seemed to be nothing outwardly remarkable about him, although the file mentioned he was a YouTuber so that was somewhat interesting. The picture attached to the file was eveb a screenshot taken from one of his videos, showing the guy tossing tea bags into a coffee mug. The only other interesting things of note were that he was divorced and had two kids.

That was about all you could read anyway- despite your position there were still things that even you didn't have the clearance for.

Don't worry about the why. Your instructor's voice echoed from somewhere in your memory. We're not paid enough to ask why.

You scrolled back up to the first page, reading the subject's name.

It didn't make any sense. This wasn't like any of IRIS's other targets, this was just....an average guy.

You sat there, staring at the tablet for another few minutes before switching it off and slipping it descretely into your bag.

Average guy or not, you still had a job to do. Maybe this would be an easy paycheck for once.
