Hello! I know this is random, but I just wanted to say that the illustrator for Bungo Stray Dogs, Sango Harukawa, or 35, also illustrated 2 Rejet drama CDs, Seventh Heaven and Oz to Himitsu no Ai. The former was made to comfort suicidal girls, I believe, while the other is...The Wizard Of Oz: Rejet edition? Aka, most of the "love interest" except for one are sexist towards the listener. Ew.

Hi, anon! I wasn't aware of Rejet until I received this ask (apparently, they're the otome company that produced Diabolik Lovers), but I suppose mangaka have to earn a living however they can!

Based on what I read in the Amino, Seventh Heaven is about a girl who attempts to commit suicide and, in the process, encounters a handsome shinigami. There seem to be seven shinigami total, one for each CD in the series, all of whom work as butlers in a mysterious mansion. Although I don't want to pass judgement without greater knowledge of the franchise, I'm a little iffy on the premise...romanticizing suicide in an otome feels disrespectful to me. But, as we'd expect from Harukawa, the art is quite aesthetically pleasing.

As for Oz to Himisu no Ai...one summary I found explains that the protagonist is transported to a world with next to no women, where ladies are reviled as temptresses who lead men astray. If that's actually the case, the creators have a lot of nerve slapping the name of L. Frank Baum's beloved fantasy land on such misogynistic nonsense. At least the art is nice, although it doesn't really give me "Oz" vibes.

Rejet Celebrates drama cd anniversaries!

Rejet tweeted that's photos in celebration. Seems like it's the 6th anniversary of Lip on my Prince, Oz to Himitsu no Ai, Taishou Guuzou Roman -Teikoku Star-and Sobo Sangokushi, all of which released on April 23, 2014!!

Wow! I had no idea so much time had passed!! I need to listen to the Oz series again. The story is amazing, if a bit long. Anyways, Rejet released a special video for all 4 series, featuring the voice cast info and staff, all accompanied by awesome bgm for each one!

I COLLECTED MY STUFFS FROM MY FRIEND AND BOY WAS IT HEAVY SINCE IT WAS IN A A3 SIZED PARCEL...alot of people were looking at me while I carried it back home :')

BUT ANYWAYS...I finally got the Dwd Manga and Recording😭

And BROMIDES of Urie(Yamazaki Shogo)!!! from Dance with Devils -Fermata- Musical and as always...Shogo looks so damn good as Urie😩💘

I also received my Damassu photobook😌 I have yet to look through it since I was busy with some school work even though I just graduated :')

And I finally got the physical copy of Meimei and Rinrin's linking tokuten...and a few Oz to Himitsu no Ai CDs even though I alrdy listened to them...I just so needed the physical copy🤧

another non-R18 drama cd short reviews

my level of Japanese is too intermediate to be in this fandom. I would love to continue learning but they needed money and time; things I do not have. and good classes are all in the Big City that I can’t freaking afford the traveling cost alone. ughhhh.

anyway, this is the second part. first part is here.

there’ll be spoilers. found most of these from Error-World.

CHU LDK my rate; 3/5 the theme is the girl and guy, under different circumstances, had to share a room. it's nothing special but still pretty sweet little stories. did I try this series for Kimura Ryouhei? of course it’s because of Kimura Ryouhei.

Hakozume my rate; 5/5 I didn't expect much but this series turns out very interesting. it's about being boxed in with a guy, and one volume, with two guys, and they'd focused on the conversation one would have while being boxed/trapped with them. vol.1 a knight - girl is the princess and being kidnapped and put in a box with her knight who were assigned to protect her. the knight happened to hide his crush on the princess. vol.2 two vampires - girl was a picking flowers when two vampire brothers found her and created a confined space (with magic) to catch her, but they got caught inside together by accident. the brothers tried hard to convince the girl kindly at first to stay with them and be their bride (yeah, THEIR bride. i got excited i thought i was gonna get a cute polyamory!) but after she refused a few times, they kidnapped her away anyway in the end. poor girl. she was so good with making it clear she want nothing to do with these boys too... vol.3 kitsune (god?) - girl happened to go inside and old shrine (i think) while the summer matsuri took place and was greeted by the kitsune god. it's not much of the girl can't escape but freely amused by the kitsune's amazement of her phone and the straps hanging from it. i think this volume is the most goddamn cutest shit ever I felt like I need to punch someone in the face for two full minutes just to feel normal again. vol.4 a wizard - two osanajimi who were also magic students. guy cast a spell of confinement on the girl when she's trying to get away from him for a trivial argument they have but he got caught in it too. they ended up having their feelings conveyed during the time they had together unwillingly, so everything's good for the couple. vol.5 fellow student (kimura ryouhei) - this has little time being confined. i don't quite get why they being dating had to kept a secret, but that's their story. the 'yobai' scene is hella cute someone pls ask kimura to do R18 next his voice is killing me. vol.6 white rabbit - this has the least of the theme of being confined with the guy but the most, uhh, elaborate story? it’s based on the alice in wonderland story where alice/girl found herself in the alternate world with no memory. white rabbit guy became her guide but hides the fact that they have met before when girl came for the first time fighting the red queen.

Kindan no kyuuketsuki my rate: 4/5 as the title suggested, it's about the MC spending some time being breathe over and whispered sweet nothings by bunch of vampire dudes. they’re good, if you like being overloaded with very sensual eargasm. there's a bunch of volumes of this title (i found 6) but they're basically the same generally. the vampires would go a great length to tell about their story but since my japanese is shit, i can only pick up bits and pieces. their story sounded emotional though. also don't forget to check the song included with each volumes. they're great. i was supposed to give this a full 5/5 but since i only understand at most 60% of what was said, i thought i shouldn't.

Oz to himitsu no ai my rate; 4/5 (minus one point for making me upset) wow this is such an elaborate of a story. there's at least 2hrs of storytelling so it's not a simple plot. there's a proper character development! we start with the girl being found by the guy with no memory of how she got there, but all she knew she needs to find a key. HOWEVER the first volume, CV Hirakawa Daisuke, ended very unsatisfyingly sad. they build up the momentum of a good intro to the series... and then very suddenly broke my heart and i was so upset i can't sleep the whole night okay?! i don't think i want to hear the rest of the volumes now. you'll tell me if the other volumes has the better ending. first volume is about Haruto, the guy without a heart (tin man i think). he was mean to the girl at first but slowly got kinder and gentler.

YesxNo my rate; 5/5 hey sometimes i like cute shit with no real plot and this is one of them. the story can go two ways; whether the girl says yes or no to the guy's ichaicha invitation. both choices ends rather equally adorable and i don't ask more than that. good shit. 10/10 will consider to buy this one if I have the opportunity to.

Blackish house alone with u my rate; 4/5 i really really REALLY want to give it a full mark for the overall tender feelings it gave me but i can't since i fucking don't understand the story at all (just 40% at most). what i do get is that the guy and girl is already a couple but they're living in a... sharehouse? dorm? the whole volume regardless of the characters are just them talking about each other, reminiscing something, going on a date, then later some making out time with an off scene ecchi. is this a sequel? was it based on a visual novel or game?
