⇢ part three of build me a place i can call home
Tumblr media
Seokjin is no stranger to heats.
The first omega he had helped through a heat with was Yoongi. The omega had just presented and seeing as the two were roommates, it was easy for Yoongi to find an alpha he trusted. Seokjin had no experience with heats before, but he agreed because it was hard to deny a beautiful omega like Yoongi when he begged.
Seokjin had been gentle with him, only losing himself to his alpha urges when Yoongi began crying because Seokjin was moving too slow for his liking. The heat lasted almost a week and during the times that Seokjin could finally get Yoongi to sleep, he emailed their professors and called up their boss at the diner to explain why neither of them could come in for that week. Once that had been done, Seokjin called his mother and got the recipe for her heat stew, messaging his friend Jaehwan to get the ingredients he needed.
When Jaehwan arrived, Seokjin thanked his lucky stars that the beta was not as affected by pheromones because Yoongi had woken up again. Seokjin hastily explained the situation and trusted the beta to show himself out once he was done putting the groceries away as he headed down the hallway and let himself into Yoongi's room. He made sure to lock the room then pressed himself into Yoongi and waited until the omega had calmed down before he moved them back to the nest Yoongi had made on the floor and fucked him senseless.
Since then, they have gone through many heats together. They also began seeing another omega as well.
Namjoon is soft and strange, but he balances them out and their first heat had gone well. Yoongi had bathed Namjoon when his pre-heat began to bleed away into actual heat and then pushed Namjoon into the nest room and brought him options. Seokjin had double-checked that they had all the ingredients they needed for the heat stew before he let Yoongi lead him into the bathtub where he could still smell Namjoon. Yoongi had reassured him as he bathed and left with a searing kiss as he went to check on Namjoon's nesting progress.
The first heat with Namjoon had gone well. Yoongi had stayed with them in the apartment, making the stew and keeping it warm then making other foods for Seokjin when Namjoon would fall asleep. Yoongi only left for classes and work, but during the night, Seokjin could smell him at the door of the nesting room wanting to join them. He stayed back though, not wanting his own heat to surprise all three of them.
After a few more heats, Namjoon sported two bites crisscrossed across his Scent gland, just as Seokjin and Yoongi did, proclaiming all three of them as mates.
Seokjin has found that life with them is easy. They all keep one another in check usually and though they have had fights and arguments, it is a rule that they never go to bed angry. It is easy being with the two omegas.
Now though, as Seokjin watches Yoongi make Namjoon's nest, Seokjin finds that things are not as easy anymore.
"Yoongichi, why are you making Namjoon's nest? I thought omegas always made their own," Seokjin ventures to ask when Yoongi continues to pretend like he is not standing right behind him.
Yoongi sighs but does not look up as he fixes another pillow. "When two omegas intend to share an alpha for their heats, it is customary that the older omega makes the nest. I'm just trying to make this look like the one Namjoon always makes."
Seokjin stands there, shell-shocked as Yoongi continues to work. He can smell Namjoon in the bathroom, still soaking in the bathtub as his pre-heat finishes running its course, but now that his senses are not being invaded by Namjoon, he can now smell what Yoongi has been hiding for most of the week.
"Sharing an alpha?" Seokjin asks, blinking as if he can do nothing else. "You're both going into heat?"
Yoongi sighs and nods, looking up to meet Seokjin's gaze. "Yes. It's okay though, Namjoon and I are mates so our bodies will accept the touch of the other during a heat. We won't make this hard for you, hyung."
"Hard for me?" Seokjin echoes, face flushing as his inner alpha's hackles rise. "My entire point of existence is to make things easier for you two. What do you mean hard for me?"
"We haven't shared a heat together between all three of us yet, so I didn't know how you'd take it," Yoongi says with a shrug, fixing the blankets spread across the floor. "Joonie said he wanted me to make the nest while he cleaned himself."
Seokjin sighs and reaches out to touch Yoongi, but knows better than to distract an omega who is in the middle of nesting. Instead, he sighs and takes off his shirt, throwing it beside the mostly formed nest and disappears into their bedroom, grabbing more of his clothes before he returns to the nesting room. Yoongi watches him as he drops the clothes on the floor, brow raised in question. Seokjin shrugs and crosses his arms over his chest, head tilted to the side as he studies Yoongi.
"You like it better when you can smell me even when I'm not in the room," Seokjin explains, nodding towards the clothes. "This nest is for all three of us so don't just focus on Joonie's needs."
Yoongi smiles and grabs the clothes, throwing himself into nesting with enthusiasm now. Seokjin watches him, only tearing his gaze away when he hears Namjoon approach them. The younger omega's scent has multiplied by three, the clear effects of his heat grabbing Seokjin's attention as he walks into the nesting room. Yoongi turns to watch the younger, opening his arms when Namjoon pauses right in front of the nest.
Seokjin lets out a breath he did not know he was holding when Namjoon goes easily. He lies down in the nest Yoongi made as the older omega quickly sheds himself of his clothes and kisses him. The omegas pause and look up at Seokjin, waiting for their alpha to join before they continue any further.
Seokjin has never been with two omegas in heat at the same time before, but these are his mates and he is no stranger to heats so he joins them in the nest, holding them both close to him.

for you, i’d give up my happiness

summary: The boys all get together to help Jeongguk save up to go visit his girlfriend and Yoongi is the only reluctant one because he's actually in love with Jeongguk, but doesn't want to get in the way of his happiness.
Tumblr media
“You know, if you just had the guts to tell the kid how you feel years ago, you wouldn't be in the position you’re in now, Yoongichi,” Seokjin finishes saying after knocking back another shot of tequila.
He’s on his third glass now and by the fifth, Yoongi knows that's when Seokjin will finally start exhibiting the drunk symptoms he is fighting off at the moment. Yoongi is still nursing his first bottle of soju which is strange even for him, but he does not want to get too drunk before he guides them home tonight since Seokjin definitely cannot do it himself. Except now, Yoongi wishes he were drunk. At least then, he could ignore the jab that Seokjin’s words delivered straight to his heart.
"Hyung, you're drunk," Yoongi mumbles back, his head bowed over his drink.
"Not yet," Seokjin scoffs and leans back on his stool, waving for the bartender to come over and top his glass off again. "You should get drunk though. Would make you feel tons better."
Yoongi rolls his eyes and takes a sip of his soju, thinking of all the ways Namjoon and Hoseok would rip him a new one if he let Seokjin find his own way back home tonight. "I feel fine. Just peachy. You, on the other hand, are not allowed to have anything else to drink, hyung."
The bartender has made it to them now and is staring at them with boredom clear on his face. Yoongi is aware that the bartender knows better than to listen to a drunk person instead of someone who is sober and accompanying the said drunk person. Seokjin groans as the bartender moves back towards the other end of the bar and serves his other patrons while Yoongi merely shrugs and pulls money out of his wallet. He winces as he thumbs through the bills while thinking of the reason he should be saving all the money he can get his hands on and lays them on the bar before he grabs Seokjin's elbow and pulls them towards the exit.
Seokjin complains the entire way but allows Yoongi to lead them back to their apartment anyway. They both take extra care to not disturb the younger couple, Hoseok and Jimin, who are passed out on the couch and then gratefully collapse in their beds and stare at each other across the dark expanse of their room. Yoongi knows that there is something on the tip of Seokjin's tongue, but he also knows that whatever it is, Seokjin does not have enough courage to say it right now.
So, to save them both some decency and embarrassment, Yoongi turns over until he is facing the wall and does not look over his shoulder as he mumbles, "Night, hyung."
He forces his eyes shut and does not move as he tries to trick his body into falling asleep. Seokjin has not answered him and Yoongi thinks he might already be asleep, but something that he cannot pinpoint tells him otherwise.
Yoongi does not know how much time has passed, but he is no closer to sleep than he was hours ago when Seokjin suggested they go out and drink. Seokjin's breathing is even on the other side of the room and Yoongi wants to roll over until he is facing his hyung again, but he refrains and decides to lay still instead as he focuses on clearing his mind. Eventually, sleep decides to befall him but before Yoongi can let it take him, he hears Seokjin whisper something that he can barely hear in his sleep befuddled daze.
It's faint and Yoongi vaguely recognizes it yet he has no time to ponder over the words as he finally drifts off into sleep.
Tumblr media
Goodnight, Yoongichi. You deserve more.
Tumblr media
Jeongguk is a ball of restless energy which Yoongi, in all the years that he has known him, has never been able to make sense of at all.
Especially now that Jeongguk is working an odd number of part-time jobs that leave him with little to no time for his studies and sleeping. Yoongi absolutely needs his sleep, no matter how often he debunks that statement by staying up late most nights. Of course, it really shouldn't surprise him either considering Jeongguk is just amazing in that sense.
Well, in every sense really, but that seems to be Yoongi's personal opinion since none of their other friends think this. Except for Jeongguk's girlfriend anyway, but she isn't Yoongi's friend really.
Not that Yoongi cares much for Jieun anyway.
She's pretty, obviously, and Jeongguk is madly in love with her, but Yoongi has never really gotten the appeal that Jeongguk has towards her. Jieun is a few months younger than Yoongi and lives in the states for school so the last time Yoongi saw her was two Christmases ago when she was able to come and visit. Yoongi doesn't know how Jeongguk can put up with it, but Yoongi does know that he does it because he loves her and it bugs him.
Though, of course, that's probably because Yoongi is madly in love with Jeongguk.
Everyone except Jeongguk himself seems to know this fact, even Jieun. She has never been malicious or rude to Yoongi for it though and it is because she has been so nice to him and so well to Jeongguk that Yoongi cannot say that he completely hates or likes her either. It's more of a feeling of indifference actually, no matter how often Jimin rolls his eyes whenever Yoongi tries to push this point to him.
Jieun is sweet and well-mannered, no doubt, but Yoongi's feelings for Jeongguk tend to hold him back a lot.
Especially now, with Jeongguk jumping on his couch as he continues to count out the money laying across Yoongi's coffee table at the moment. Yoongi wants to push his hair back and press a kiss to his forehead as he laughs under his breath and tells Jeongguk to calm down, but they are friends and friends don't do that (and no, Taehyung and Jimin do not count, Namjoon, thank you very much). So Yoongi sits on his hands and leans forward to watch Jeongguk's hands move, unsure of what to say or do that won't trip him up in front of who he's sure is the love of his life.
"Hyung, I think I might have enough for the plane ticket soon!" Jeongguk shouts, jumping up onto the couch as he throws a few bills over his head.
Yoongi laughs despite himself and bends down to pick up the money from the floor before he hands it back to a slightly embarrassed Jeongguk. "That's great, Jeonggukkie."
And it is great, for Jeongguk at least.
This heavy and dark feeling curling in the pit of his stomach could never be a great feeling for Yoongi, no matter for how long he may live. Not as long as he is in love with Jeongguk.
"Do you think she'll be happy to see me, hyung? Really?" Jeongguk asks then, his voice shaking and Yoongi looks up, not knowing what to expect when he stares at the younger.
Jeongguk is biting his lip and counting the money again, obviously nervous. Yoongi wants to put his arms around Jeongguk and reassure him that even if Jieun isn't happy to see him, at least Yoongi will be.
Yoongi will always be happy to see Jeongguk.
But, instead, Yoongi finds himself shooting Jeongguk a calm grin as he says, "Of course, Jeonggukkie. Who wouldn't be?"
The smile that spreads across Jeongguk's face knocks the very breath out of Yoongi's lungs and he is left gaping at the younger while he turns back and recounts his money once more.
Tumblr media
"Does he really have no idea?"
Yoongi shrugs, staring at Namjoon's tv while it plays some rom-com that neither of them is very interested in. He had come over earlier hoping that some time away from his own apartment would do him some good, but Namjoon has never been great at distracting Yoongi from his problems. So really, it's Yoongi's fault for thinking something might have changed since the last time he and Namjoon hung out like this.
"And to think, I thought Jeongguk was the second smartest one in our bunch," Namjoon mutters to himself, then lifts his arms up defensively in front of his chest when Yoongi tries smacking him. "It's the truth and you know it, hyung!"
"Shut up, Joon-ah."
"Make me," Namjoon retorts, turning his body towards Yoongi in what is clearly an invitation.
Yoongi stares at him, taking in the younger's flushed cheeks from the soju they had been drinking before, and, of course, Namjoon is attractive, but Yoongi does not think now would be a great time for him and Namjoon to jump into bed. Especially not with the way Namjoon has been eyeing Seokjin lately, something that Yoongi cannot deny is similar to how he has been looking at Jeongguk ever since his twenty-first birthday three years ago. Seokjin obviously knows that Namjoon is interested in him because he can be idiot half the time, but he is not blind . Yoongi doesn't even want to know why exactly Seokjin has not returned the interest, but sleeping with Namjoon would not solve any of that and would only further complicate things.
How Yoongi hates Hoseok and Jimin even more at this moment simply because there are no doubts when it comes to their own established relationship.
Except, Namjoon's thigh is pressed tightly against Yoongi's own and the warmth coming from the younger man's body is almost too much for him to bear. Maybe he should, just for the sake of doing it.
"Too tired," Yoongi says even as he shifts around on the couch and swings his legs around so he can climb onto Namjoon's lap. "You do all the work."
Namjoon lays his hands on Yoongi's waist and grins when Yoongi pushes his hands lower until they are holding his ass. "I'll do all the work, hyung. Let me take care of you tonight."
It is such an awful idea but when Namjoon squeezes his ass and practically shoves his tongue down Yoongi's throat, Yoongi finds that he really does not give two fucks about the shitshow this is going to start when he wakes up wrapped in Namjoon's warmth tomorrow morning.
Tumblr media
Yoongi wakes up to Seokjin standing over him, a disapproving look on his face as his phone blares loudly in the background.
"You're late for work," Seokjin says simply once he sees that Yoongi has opened his eyes.
That alone is enough to rush Yoongi into action as he almost tumbles out of bed and starts changing right there in front of Seokjin. Seokjin tsks at him but turns off his phone's alarm and ruffles Yoongi's hair as he leaves their room. Yoongi growls at him as he goes and finishes getting ready, running to the bathroom to throw water on his face and to gargle mouthwash since he doesn't have enough time to brush his teeth. He grabs his helmet from the coat rack near their door and grabs a piece of toast off Hoseok's plate that the younger man barely makes an effort to get mad at him for.
Yoongi runs down the stairs and hops onto his mo-ped and speeds to work. He swerves in out of the few cars that manage to get in his way and earns many honks for his trouble but, thankfully, arrives to work barely on time because of his speeding. His boss rolls his eyes at him and Yoongi clocks in as he waits to take the first delivery out.
He never knew people ordered pizza so early in the morning, but Seokjin is still making fun of him for the three hickeys Namjoon left two days ago that barely peek past the collar of his shirt so Yoongi doesn't have any room to judge people.
He does get to judge them for treating him like their maid when he takes their pizza and they shove a trash bag back at him, telling him to leave it by the curb. It isn't his job to do this nor is he obligated to by anything else, but if they call the pizza place and lie about the condition the pizza was in when it arrived, he could get fired.
Yoongi might hate this job, but it's extra money for Jeongguk's airplane ticket and he is not going to quit it just yet.
Tumblr media
It was Yoongi's idea, to begin with, but the others had followed along anyway because they all care about Jeongguk and want him to be happy.
Namjoon had given him a weird look while Seokjin had given him one he couldn't understand in the slightest, but the rest of their friends had simply gone along with it and that was how all six of them ended up working shitty part-time jobs that they didn't need to begin with.
Hoseok and Jimin ended up working in the same restaurant, but Hoseok is a waiter and Jimin a busboy so they only get to see each other if they happen to have their breaks at the same time. Taehyung works at a convenience store near his and Jeongguk's place, but he doesn't like how often people come in wanting to pay him later for one simple piece of candy. Seokjin helps in a car wash that his uncle runs and Namjoon got a job at a gasoline station that he rants about often.
They are all busting their asses working two jobs (three in Namjoon's case) and rarely get any sleep, but when they get their paychecks and pull it all together, Yoongi is so relieved when Seokjin goes and buys the plane ticket for Jeongguk.
But Yoongi is more than relieved when it is Seokjin who presents the ticket to Jeongguk a few days later.
Jeongguk is speechless and he has no clue what to say, but he's staring at Seokjin like he just handed him his entire world and it hurts more than Yoongi can put into words just to witness. Imagine if it had been him who Jeongguk looked at like that? Yoongi would be utterly destroyed, just a smear upon the pavement that will never be able to take its own shape again.
To say he is heartbroken is an understatement, but he is still happy because Jeongguk is happy.
For now, that will have to be enough.
Tumblr media
"You're pitiful, Min Yoongi," Seokjin snorts at him from his right.
Yoongi swats at his arm and leans more into Namjoon's warmth on his left to get as far away as possible from the elder. "Shut up, hyung. I'm sad."
Namjoon hums thoughtfully and Yoongi feels the sound vibrate against his skin. "You could still confess. I'm sure Jeongguk feels something for you. You've always been his favorite, hyung."
"Nah," Yoongi says without missing a beat, hoping that the uneven beating of his heart will better with time spent apart from Jeongguk. "He's happy."
"But you're not," Seokjin bites back, his hand now on Yoongi's thigh, "You deserve to be happy too, Yoongichi."
Yoongi only shrugs, not really caring about whether he's happy or not. That has never really mattered to him in the first place.
Namjoon lays his hand on Yoongi's other thigh, fingertips skimming towards his crotch. An electric shock travels straight to his dick and Yoongi hates the fact that he isn't even drunk right now to excuse how turned on he is between his two bigger and stronger and attractive friends. Seokjin joins Namjoon, quickly picking up where this is possibly leading to.
"We could make you forget," Namjoon whispers into his ear, tongue flicking out to trail down the shell of his ear and wracking a shiver down Yoongi's spine. "For a little while, at least."
Yoongi groans when Seokjin cups him through his jeans, his mouth already inching its way towards his own and this isn't going to solve everything, it might not solve a single thing, but Yoongi wants. He wants to forget the sound of Jeongguk's laugh and the way his hand feels in Yoongi's own. He wants Namjoon to kiss him silly while Seokjin gets his pants off and maybe even later they'll take turns having Yoongi, but right now, he wants to forget about Jeongguk.
He wants this.
So he leans back and relaxes into the couch as he nods his head, letting Seokjin and Namjoon do what they may. Anything is better than thinking of Jeongguk do this to Jieun right now.
Maybe when he wakes up tomorrow squished between the two, Yoongi will feel something stir in his chest as he looks upon their sleeping faces, but for right now, Yoongi is focused on getting his own pleasure for tonight.
(And many more nights to come.)

love and school days
Tumblr media
pairing: namyoonjin  genre: fluff, teacher au, slice of life, rated g  warnings: none  words: 1500
summary: Seokjin's students ask him how he's able to love two people at the same time and Seokjin explains that it isn't really that hard.
Tumblr media
“Mr. Kim?”
Seokjin looks up, a patient smile on his lips as he meets the gaze of one of his students.
They have their little fist stuck up straight in the air, a look of determination painted on their face. Seokjin nods and lets his smile curl at the edges, hand held out towards his student.
“Yes, what is it Jaehyun?” Seokjin asks, eyes darting once to make sure none of his other students also require his attention.
Jaehyun stands up then, surprising Seokjin, but he says nothing as his student readies himself, taking a deep breath before he asks, “How can you love Yoonie and Namsjoon at the same time?”
Seokjin’s smile doesn’t waver, bemused at how the rest of his class suddenly falls silent.
It’s no secret that Seokjin is with two people, two wonderful people who are still struggling through college and live with him while whining about their finals and homework, but questions like this always make his breath come a little quicker. His class has met both Yoongi and Namjoon twice before, once when they came in together to surprise Seokjin with lunch and two other times when they came in separately, their conflicting school schedules being the cause of that. His class adores them and they love how happy Seokjin becomes whenever they’re around or brought up, but Seokjin also knows that they’re children and children always have questions, especially about things they don’t quite understand yet.
Seokjin nods at the question though, unsurprised because knowing Jaehyun and his curiosity, the question should have honestly come sooner.
“Well,” Seokjin begins, tapping his chin in mock-thought when he already knows how he’s going to answer this one. “You love your mom and dad, don’t you?”
Jaehyun nods, eyes wide as he waits for Seokjin to continue.
“They’re two people, aren’t they?” Seokjin asks, patient smile back on his face. “You love two people. I love two people. We all love more than one person.”
Jaehyun tilts his head in thought before snapping his fingers together and lighting up from the inside. “Oh! I get it!”
Seokjin, still smiling, nods again and lets his eyes wander over the rest of his students, looks of understanding on almost all their faces. Until he meets the eyes of little Minhyuk.
Minhyuk stands just as Jaehyun sits, hand stuck up in the air. Seokjin nods at him, giving him permission to speak.
“What if we don’t have a mom and dad?” Minhyuk asks, teeth worrying his bottom lip.
Seokjin nods yet again, all too knowing of Minhyuk’s home situation. “Who helps your mom take care of you? Your grandma, right?”
Minhyuk nods silently, teeth still buried in his lip and Seokjin smiles at him, no judgment to be found in his open expression.
“You love your grandma, right? Just as much as you love your mom. You also love two people. That’s normal,” Seokjin says, relieved when Minhyuk finally lets his bottom lip spring free.
Minhyuk sits then and when Seokjin looks over his class again, everyone understands now.
Tumblr media
“Hey, you’re home early,” Seokjin says when the front door closes, letting a worn-out Namjoon spill into the foyer.
Namjoon looks up, his eyes glazed over but quickly perking up with excitement when his gaze land on his eldest boyfriend laid out on the couch in the living room. Seokjin smiles at him, amused at how puppy-like he can seem sometimes.
“Study group let out early. I think they’re finally getting a hold of the material,” Namjoon mutters, kicking his shoes off before dropping his backpack and making his way over to the couch. “Is Yoongi-hyung still in the studio?”
Seokjin holds up his phone, showing Namjoon the messages from their group chat. “You know he is.”
Namjoon grins at him, that dimple-y, goofy one that always makes Seokjin smile in response. “Oh, right. I think my phone died so I didn’t see those.”
“Gimme your phone, I’ll put it to charge while you shower,” Seokjin says in response, smile still on his face as Namjoon digs his phone out of the pocket of his jeans and drops it into Seokjin’s palm. “No kissing until you do. You smell, Namjoonie.”
Namjoon pouts at that but manages to sneak in one kiss anyway before disappearing down the hallway to their bathroom. Seokjin soon hears the shower head turn on and sits up on the couch, searching for Namjoon’s charger.
He finds it in the kitchen, resting atop the island and tangled beyond belief. Seokjin shakes his head at it before promptly untangling it and plugging it into the outlet, hooking Namjoon’s phone up to the charger. He turns back to the kitchen and rolls his shoulders before pushing his sleeves up and approaching the sink to clean his hands. He may as well get started on dinner now that Namjoon is home and Yoongi is sure to follow.
Seokjin hears the shower turn off a few minutes later and almost laughs when the shower curtain falls. Namjoon groans loud enough to be heard all the way from the kitchen, but Seokjin knows he’s fine and continues to work on dinner, digging out their wok for the stir fry he’s making. The bathroom door opens and Seokjin almost laughs again when Namjoon’s grumbling only becomes louder as he heads towards their bedroom. Namjoon’s phone dings on the island and Seokjin looks over to see a text from Yoongi, saying he’s on his way home.
When Namjoon finally comes into the kitchen and sits at the island, playing with his phone as Seokjin works, Seokjin feels the tightness in his chest begins to recede. It doesn’t disappear completely, but when Seokjin’s feeling antsy or someone has asked him about his relationship, he always feels the quick tightening in his chest. It doesn’t loosen until he’s at home, having dinner with both of his boyfriends.
The front door opens just as Seokjin is throwing everything into the wok and Yoongi drops all of his things in the foyer, rushing into the kitchen to drag Namjoon out. Not that Seokjin would have burned the younger, but Namjoon is accidental-prone and being near fire is enough to make Yoongi break out in a nervous sweat. Seokjin laughs as they kiss hello in the foyer, before Namjoon is pushing Yoongi towards the bathroom, nose wrinkled up in slight disgust at how sweaty Yoongi smells.
When Yoongi comes out of the bathroom a few minutes later, Namjoon is already in the bedroom, an outfit for Yoongi laid out as he waits for him to dress. Seokjin is putting the finishing touches on their dinner as Yoongi dresses, jumping when arms wind across his waist as he turns the stove off.
“Jesus, Yoongi,” Seokjin mutters, hand held to his heart as it races underneath his touch.
Yoongi’s lips press to his nape, large hands gripping at Seokjin’s sweater. “Food done?”
“Yeah. Set the table, please?” Seokjin asks, turning in the younger’s arms to press a kiss to his nose.
Yoongi pouts at that then goes on tiptoe to give Seokjin a proper kiss and the elder melts under it, laughing when Namjoon’s hand is suddenly on the small of his back, warranting both of their attention. Yoongi kisses him slowly, pulling Namjoon down by the neck to meet his height before releasing them both to grab the plates and cups. Namjoon kisses Seokjin’s cheek first until he gives in and kisses him square on the mouth. Seokjin’s hands curl into Namjoon’s hair before he pulls away, remembering the food behind him.
“Go sit. I’ll be out with the food right now,” Seokjin murmurs, pressing another kiss to Namjoon’s lips before letting the younger go, a dopey look on his face as he approaches Yoongi.
Yoongi laughs at him as he sits down, ruffling Namjoon’s still damp-hair as he sits across from him, leaving the head of the table empty for Seokjin. Seokjin rolls his eyes but grabs the wok, glad that it isn’t burning hot anymore and grateful for the block of wood Yoongi set out in the center of the table. Seokjin places the wok on top of it, quickly sitting down as Yoongi serves them, slapping Namjoon’s hands away when they get too close to the wok for his liking. Namjoon pouts at that like a kicked puppy but forgets about it when Yoongi sets his plate down in front of him.
Seokjin smiles at Yoongi when his own plate is set down in front of him and waits until Yoongi’s served his own plate before raising his chopsticks and taking the first bite. The younger two watch him chew, only digging into their own food once he’s swallowed and moaned aloud at his own cooking, smiles on their faces at their hyung’s theatrics.
The tightening in Seokjin’s chest is gone now, his feelings loose as the two men he loves sit and eat beside him. He knows with certainty that Yoongi and Namjoon love him back.

pairing: namyoonjin  genre: fluff, mild angst, flower shop au, witches au, rated t  warnings: fem!yoonjin, namjoon falling off a ladder  words: 1670
summary: Yoonji hates Namjoon, it’s true, despite what her girlfriend, Jinah, may say about Yoonji actually thinking the glasses wearing blonde is cute. Yep, Yoonji hates him.
Still, it’s better if he didn’t find out the two girls who own the flower shop are nature and love witches. Maybe.
⇢ day three of yoonjin week
Tumblr media
"Hey, Yoonji-yah. That guy is back again."
Yoonji looks up from her flowers, a frown marring her features, making Jinah laugh and push her bangs out of the little witch's eyes.
"Tell him to go away," Yoonji says, turning back to her flowers without another word.
Jinah laughs again, pressing a kiss to the top of Yoonji's blonde hair. "You know he'll just be back tomorrow. He always is."
Yoonji shrugs and mutters a spell under her breath to help her flowers stay fresh. "And you know that I don't care, unnie. Go enchant him with your pretty mouth or something and keep him away for a week."
"You're so mean to that poor boy. You've exchanged, like, twenty words with him and have already decided you hate the ground he walks on."
"You say that as if I owe him something. Plus, you know I hate everybody," Yoonji grumbles, sighing when she spots the watering can above her head on the highest shelf where the butterfly weed and blanket flowers are plotted so the sunlight can hit them directly. "Did you leave the watering can up there?"
"You don't hate me," Jinah points out as she looks up at the shelf then giggles. "I forgot. Sorry for not remembering to bring it back down."
Yoonji sighs and shakes her head. "Just go and get the ladder, unnie."
"Aye, aye," Jinah replies, pressing a kiss to Yoonji's cheek before she disappears into the back room.
Yoonji sighs again, knowing full well that Namjoon is browsing the rows of flowers behind her and doing his best to pretend he wasn't eavesdropping. Yoonji rolls her eyes and cracks her knuckles as Jinah returns with their biggest ladder. The elder witch is quick to set it up, holding onto the side of the ladder tightly to make sure it isn't rickety or wobbles while Yoonji climbs it.
Before Yoonji can even place her foot on the first rung, Namjoon is pushing her aside and climbing the ladder swiftly, his long arms grabbing hold of the can easily. Yoonji blinks, dumbfounded as he begins his descent down only now noticing that he isn't wearing his glasses.
But Yoonji and Jinah should know better by now. Namjoon can't walk across a flat surface without finding something to trip on and if Yoonji wasn't persistent in the fact that she hates Namjoon, she would admit that his clumsiness is endearing. Still, it shouldn't surprise either of them that Namjoon is only a third of the way down when he misses the next rung and falls off the ladder.
"Shit," Jinah yelps, unsure of whether to let go of the ladder or not as Namjoon falls, a yell ripping itself out of his lungs.
Yoonji is quick to act, spitting out spells in short, unmeasured breaths, commanding that her plants head her request. Thankfully, they do, wrapping their leaves and vines and roots around Namjoon, holding him in place before they slowly set him on the ground. He holds the watering can to his chest, a frantic look in his eyes and mouth agape as the plants unravel around him, returning to their original positions. Yoonji murmurs a quick thanks as Jinah crowds around Namjoon, checking him for injuries.
He sports only a few shallow cuts from where the roses' thorns scraped his skin, but he's mostly unscathed and now Yoonji needs to figure out if she knows any memory wiping charms.
"You–"
"Joon-ah, are you okay? Does anything hurt?" Jinah speaks over him, her hands frantic as she checks him for more injuries.
"Joon-ah? Since when have you two been so close?" Yoonji asks, brow furrowed.
Jinah blushes, her face turning a soft pink as Namjoon's ears turn red. Yoonji crosses her arms over her chest and gives them an unamused look.
"Namjoon-ssi, have you been flirting with my girlfriend behind my back?" Yoonji questions, her gaze hard and unrelenting.
Namjoon shakes his head fervently, his neck red as well now. "No! Of course not! You know that I like you, Yoonji-ssi."
Jinah huffs out an irritated breath as Yoonji fights back a pleased smile. "So calling me pretty and touching my lips isn't considered flirting now?"
Namjoon's gaze swivels between the two women before him, both eyeing him warily as a nervous sweat begins to work up on his skin. "I don't think that's the most important thing to discuss right now. Your plants are magic!"
Yoonji sighs. "No, they aren't."
"But–"
"You should go," Jinah says, taking the watering can from his hands and handing it to Yoonji before she pushes him towards the door. "We would understand if you didn't come back, but for now, you should go, Joon-ah."
"Hey–" Namjoon tries to respond.
Jinah is already pushing him out the door and closing it in his face by then though. She's quick to put the "Out to Lunch" sign on the door and lock it, turning off the main lights as she makes her way back to an irritated Yoonji. Jinah offers her a timid smile, expecting a fight to break out.
"You've been flirting with him behind my back," is all Yoonji says instead, her arms crossed over her chest again.
Jinah shrugs and holds her hands out in front of her pitifully. "You said you wanted him to leave you alone, so I kind of flirted with him to get him out of here faster."
Yoonji only stares at the elder witch. "You didn't–"
"I might have cast a few infatuation spells on him to pay attention to me, but nothing more than that and they weren't powerful," Jinah offers quickly.
Yoonji shakes her head, turning back to her flowers as she picks up the watering can once again. "Whatever. I just want to know what you plan to do now that he knows something weird is going on."
Jinah relaxes, leaning against the counter behind her as she watches Yoonji work. "Let him think whatever he wants. He probably isn't going to come back anyway so let's just act normal and go on with our lives. It's what we do best."
"Fine," Yoonji says, not wanting to admit that she feels disappointed about Jinah's solution. "We'll let him decide whether he comes back or not, but if he does, then we have to explain. If he decides to stay then he needs to know what exactly he's staying for."
Jinah nods, pressing herself to Yoonji's back as she wraps her arms around the smaller witch. "We'll be fine. Things will work out okay. Don't worry, love."
"I hope so, unnie," Yoonji replies, letting herself melt into the older girl's embrace.
Tumblr media
Later, when the flower shop is about to close and Jinah has already rang up the last customer as Yoonji sweeps the floor, the door opens. Yoonji looks up as the bell jingles, announcing a new customer and freezes where she stands.
"Hello! Welcome to Jinah's Flowers. We're about to close, but you're welcome to..." Jinah begins to say before she looks up towards their new customer and trails off mid sentence.
Namjoon blinks at them, his glasses back on where they usually are and long blonde hair gelled back. He looks every bit of a godsend as he did when Yoonji first laid eyes on him. Jinah stumbles out from behind the counter and walks slowly towards him as if entranced, and Yoonji almost wants to laugh at how the tables have turned on the love witch she admires so.
"You came back," Jinah whispers.
Namjoon nods, gaze switching from Yoonji to Jinah and back. "I decided that I didn't care whether you're witches or something else entirely not human. It doesn't matter to me."
Yoonji startles when Jinah throws herself at Namjoon and kisses him full on the mouth. Namjoon's hands come up to hold her waist, stepping back to catch the momentum of her weight, but Yoonji doesn't trust him to not fall back anyway so she leans her broom against the counter and makes her way towards the two.
Namjoon and Jinah break away when Yoonji worms her way in between the two, hands curling around Namjoon's neck as she brings his face down to hers. Jinah watches as they exchange a kiss now, one of Namjoon's hands leaving Jinah's waist only to grab hold of Yoonji's waist instead.
When they pull away, Namjoon's face is flushed a soft pink, his glasses gleaming in the fluorescent lights above their heads. "If I had known it would take me falling off a ladder to get kissed by two gorgeous women, I would've done it sooner."
Jinah's windshield laugh fills the air around them as Namjoon smiles at the two witches, amused by Yoonji's unimpressed expression. Jinah's arms circle around Yoonji's torso, her fingers playing at the ends of Namjoon's shirt while Yoonji leans into Jinah and fingers the hairs on Namjoon's nape.
"You came back," Yoonji says instead, watching as Namjoon's smile softens when he meets her gaze.
"I intend to stay as well," he says, no hesitance in his tone as he does.
Yoonji looks over her shoulder to meet Jinah's gaze. The witches nod, exchanging smiles before they both lean in and kiss Namjoon on his cheeks. He smiles, his dimples on full display and Yoonji can't deny any longer that he really is cute beyond belief. Jinah giggles and tightens her hold on Yoonji, burrowing her nose into the little witch's hair as Namjoon presses himself closer to the smaller girl and kisses her cheek.
Yoonji feels warm and very safe in the arms of her lovers.
They close up shop then, Jinah inviting Namjoon to dinner at their place that's above the flower shop. Namjoon accepts, helping them with the closing routine.
Just as Yoonji flicks the lights off, the evening primroses begin to bloom when the moonlight meet them, whispering soft words of encouragement to her while Jinah takes Namjoon's hand and leads him upstairs.
Yoonji whispers a soft thanks back.

Movie nights always consist of the seven of them spread around Seokjin's living room.
His apartment is the best equipped for it after all ー even considering the fact that he is still an undergrad student like the rest of his younger friends. Jaehwan and Heeyeon don’t count since they are “basically older” even though the three of them are the same age and those two always make it a point to rub it into his face that they have already graduated and are out there living their full adult lives.
Seokjin understands that he lives a pretty privileged life due to his parents' wealth and the position he currently holds at their company, but the only times he had used that to his advantage was when it would benefit someone other than himself. Like when he paid for six months of Namjoon's rent the moment he learned the younger had lost his job, or when he paid Taehyung's bail the first time he got drunk at a party and somehow ended up in a shopping center instead with no clothes on, and again when he hired a hacker to get him some illegally obtained documents to use as blackmail on the middle-aged professor who kept pestering Jeongguk to sleep with him for a good grade or else fail his class.
(Not to say that Seokjin didn't use those documents anyway to get the man fired after Jeongguk had passed the course with flying colors all on his own, but what Jeongguk doesn't know, won't kill him.)
He has definitely gone above and beyond when it comes to taking care of those that he loves. But he isn't ashamed of it; if anything, Seokjin is proud.
Seokjin loves his boys. Maybe not in the way that people generally love their friends since he frequently has threesomes with them, but he loves all six of his friends just the same.
That is why he invested in a projector and a surround sound system when movie nights at his place turned into a thing. They even hold a weekly poll for what movie they will watch. (Yoongi frequently wins those.)
He bought two other loveseats shortly after and then a dozen throw pillows and extra blankets. His parents hadn't said anything about his brow-raising purchases, but they did ask him if he was entertaining people more often. Especially when he began buying popcorn in bulk, along with gummy worms and gigantic ice cream cartons.
Seokjin will even pay for his boys’ Uber rides too, in case it’s raining or the bus will get them to his place later than usual. Will even offer them one of his spare rooms when they stay too late or pay for another Uber to get them home. He has never asked any of them to pay him back because he finds it completely unnecessary.
Of course, they always insist on doing so, wanting to return the favor in some way, but Seokjin has more money than he knows what to do with. Most of it does belong to his parents, but Seokjin’s been running a few aspects of the company by himself for years, and that’s where the rest of his income stems from. Even without his parent’s wealth, Seokjin still has too much money. Having his friends try and give him any more only makes him at a loss of what to do with it all.
He knows that he has also stepped on plenty of toes because of his wealth and the blatant way he throws his money around when it comes to his six favorite people on the planet. It’s a fact he got himself used to after a year of knowing everyone, but he couldn’t stand by and watch his closest friends struggle while he lived a pampered life. It would be wrong to not at least offer to help, no matter whose pride he was going up against.
And yes, Yoongi is still absolutely mortified over the fact that Seokjin bought him an apartment when he realized that Yoongi was couchsurfing. Yoongi still goes on rants whenever Seokjin is too flashy with his wealth, and Seokjin doesn’t hold that against him. He has never known poverty like Yoongi has, and he probably never will, but that doesn’t mean Seokjin did any of what he did out of pity either. He wants his friends to live good lives and would do anything to make sure that happens. So they came to the compromise that Yoongi could start paying him rent in full once a company hired him as a producer and since that is happening soon, Yoongi has been in a better mood all around which Jeongguk definitely appreciates.
But the fact of the matter is Seokjin would do anything for his boys.
So on this particular movie night, he is only a little caught off guard when Hoseok and Jimin decide to sit on either side of him.
He knows of their intentions as soon as they have sat down, he isn't blind after all. He's just surprised that they finally decided to share their bed with him. He has never been with Hoseok and Jimin, but he wouldn't mind it since he has slept with the other couples in their group after all. Yoongi and Jeongguk are sweet and do everything he asks of them until they finally get their release and Yoongi turns into a brat, wanting more. With Namjoon and Taehyung, they are more focused on getting Namjoon comfortable though, wanting him to feel cherished in between them both whenever they're together.
Seokjin frequently has sex with them even now and that probably does nothing to help the feelings he has for all of them.
He swallows as Hoseok and Jimin cuddle into him, shifting slightly until he's more comfortably pressed into the couch. Hoseok moves with him, wrapping his arms around Seokjin's bicep and pushing his feet underneath the elder's thigh. Jimin turns to the side until he can throw his legs over Seokjin's lap, effectively trapping him in his seat.
It's a good thing Seokjin had one of his “booty call” showers earlier and remembered to use the bathroom before his friends started arriving.
His hair is still a little damp, but that doesn't deter Jimin from carding his fingers through it.
The others are staring at them, Seokjin can feel the weight of their gazes on him, but he's focused on the movie. Spider-Man: Homecoming is pretty alright for a Spider-Man movie, a lot better than the Amazing Spider-Man was at least. Seokjin particularly likes how fatherly Tony Stark acts towards Peter, especially considering how little screen time he is getting throughout the movie.
But it quickly becomes hard to focus when Jimin nudges his thigh into Seokjin's crotch and starts rubbing insistently against him.
Seokjin's breath catches in his throat, eyes searching the room as Jimin continues. Namjoon and Taehyung are watching them, but Jeongguk is actually watching the movie while Yoongi's eyes flicker from the screen to them and back. Seokjin turns his head to see what Hoseok is doing and freezes when the younger man immediately starts to kiss him.
He can't help the noise he makes; it's expected that he will moan when kissed the way Hoseok is kissing him. What Seokjin is more concerned with is the fact that all eyes are on him now. Everyone is hyperfocused on watching him kiss Hoseok and tracing the path Jimin's hands take across his torso.
Jimin's hand replaces his thigh as he shuffles in his seat and suddenly Seokjin is moaning again, his dick fighting to get hard as fast as possible.
He's so fucked, he can already tell from the moment Namjoon stands up and walks slowly over to them on the couch that there's no way anyone is going to go home tonight. Seokjin whines when Jimin presses the palm of his hand harshly against his crotch, pushing him into the back of the couch. Hoseok pulls their lips apart but is quick to let his heartshaped mouth skim down Seokjin’s throat instead, keeping them connected.
"Hyung," Jeongguk says, now standing behind Namjoon's shoulder in front of them. "We've all been talking."
"Yeah, I can see that," Seokjin mutters, cursing when Hoseok bites his shoulder. "Hey! I have to be in the office tomorrow, no marks!"
Hoseok bites him again anyway and laughs when Seokjin swats at him, pouting until Jimin cups his face and kisses him greedily. Seokjin moans right into his mouth and squirms as Hoseok ungracefully shoves his hand down Seokjin's sweatpants to wrap around his cock. The other four are now standing over them, palming themselves as they watch.
It's Namjoon who brings everything to a head. "Hyung, we've been talking and we came to the decision that we love you and we want to share you."
Seokjin blinks up at them, turning away from Jimin's lips and shivering as Hoseok starts to pump him. "Like, we're all together or I'm just with all of you?"
"You're with all of us, if you want, hyung," Yoongi replies as he reaches down and pulls Seokjin's sweatpants down his legs.
He lifts his hips up to help then settles back onto the couch as Yoongi peels his sweats off and steps back. Jimin rummages around in the bag Hoseok brought with him until he pulls out a packet of lube, the kind that usually comes with a box of condoms. Seokjin rolls his eyes but says nothing as Jimin rips open the packet and pours some of the lube into Hoseok's hand. Hoseok goes back to stroking him and Seokjin gasps, eyes fluttering shut as he relaxes, spreading his thighs so everyone can get a good view of the show.
Because that's what Hoseok and Jimin intend to do tonight, don't they? Make a show out of fucking him for the others to get off to. A pseudo punishment for being the last to have him.
Although, it might be an actual punishment from Jimin. Seokjin's listened to Hoseok drone on about their sex life often enough to know about Jimin's appetite. Not like he minds, but it will be refreshing to let someone else take charge while he simply follows along.
"But first, Jimin and I get to have you all to ourselves tonight since these fools have already had a turn," Hoseok croons into his ear. "Ah, hyung, you're so mean. Letting everyone else have you except me and Jiminnie. Don't you love us?"
Seokjin groans, panting as Jimin and the others begin to undress. "Of course, I do. Why do you think I throw my money at all of you?"
"Apart from how annoying that is, hyung," Yoongi says, rolling his eyes and smiling when Seokjin only sticks his tongue out at him. "I hope you know we don't want you for your money and never will."
Taehyung's voice is husky and deep as he leans over and pulls Seokjin's shirt off him. "We want you cause you love us and do so much for us, hyung. You deserve everything in this world and we'll be the ones to give it to you."
"Yes, but first," Jimin cuts in, pushing Taehyung away from the couch. "No one but Hobi and I get to touch you for the rest of the night. You can say no to anything I suggest, hyung, but I need you to decide now whether you're okay with this or not."
Seokjin stares around the room, breaths deep and uneven as Hoseok twists his hands around the head of his cock. The others stare back at him, expressions vulnerable but their eyes darkened with lust.
It's not like Seokjin has to think too hard about this. He knows what he wants to say and why he wants to say it. He knows that he loves his boys and that he's always loved his boys, but he never entertained the idea of actually being with any of them. Let alone all of them. His boys had paired themselves off until he was by his lonesome, pining after all of them and willing to jump into bed with them whenever they desired him.
Now though, he gets to have them. He gets to have all of them.
So he nods his head and rasps out, “Yes, I’m okay with this.”
Jimin smiles, something dark flashing in his eyes before it's gone again. “Good. Now, do you want me to fuck you while you fuck Hoseok? He’s already prepped for you and everything, but I’ll need to get you ready for me.”
Seokjin nods again. “Yes, please.”
“What a good boy,” Jimin murmurs into his ear, pouring more lube onto his fingers. “Scoot towards the edge for me and lean back, hyung.”
Seokjin does so without hesitation, groaning as Hoseok merely moves with him. Jimin moves his fingers closer to Seokjin’s spread legs and looks up, meeting the elder’s gaze and raising a brow in question. Seokjin nods, hissing through his teeth when Jimin teases his rim with one fingertip.
Hoseok twists his wrist around the head of his cock at the same time that Jimin pushes past his entrance and slowly works his finger into him. His entire body reacts like he just touched a livewire and Seokjin fights to stay still, gripping the couch cushions beneath him.
Another twist has Seokjin crying out, his thighs shaking with the strain to remain still. Hoseok only laughs, kissing him again to keep him quiet as Jimin manages to get his entire forefinger into him. The others are now as naked as Seokjin, but they keep their hands to themselves exactly how Jimin commanded them to earlier. No one would dare cross the shortest man in their group of friends, all too familiar with the unexpected level of rage that would accompany it.
Hoseok’s lips are soft and demand his attention, but they aren’t enough to distract Seokjin when Jimin pushes a second finger into him. He moans against Hoseok’s mouth and clamps his eyes shut, doing his best to focus on all that is happening at that moment.
Jimin is working him open while Hoseok jerks him off, but the other four are also jerking themselves off as they watch. Seokjin finds it difficult to pay attention to only one thing, so he broadens his perspective and looks at the whole picture instead.
It works for a few minutes until Jimin is kissing his neck and pushing a third finger into him.
Seokjin yelps, jerking forward as Jimin’s fingers move in him. Hoseok presses him back, one hand flat against his stomach as the other hurries its movements around his cock. Jimin’s smiling when Seokjin opens his eyes again, gaze finding the shorter man’s immediately.
“Hobi, get undressed and take out two condoms from your bag,” Jimin orders.
Hoseok immediately does as he is told and Seokjin tightens his grip on the couch cushions as he is left to deal with five pairs of eyes on him and three fingers in him. He hears Hoseok finding the condoms before he sees it, but then he’s too distracted by Hoseok pulling his shirt and shorts off to actually make a comment on anything.
Jimin wiggles his fingers in him teasingly, laughing when Seokjin turns to glare at him. “Eyes on me, hyung.”
Seokjin keeps his eyes on Jimin then, no matter how much he wants to look at Hoseok instead. Jimin nods his head approvingly and leans across him, patting the couch.
“Lay back, hyung. Hoseok is gonna ride you while I fuck you, okay?” Jimin asks, tilting his head to the side as he does.
“Okay,” Seokjin rasps out, turning and leaning back on the cushions.
Jimin keeps his fingers in him while he moves though, so Seokjin takes a moment to even his breaths before he opens his eyes again and finds Hoseok standing in front of him. He holds up one of the condoms and notches his head towards Seokjin’s crotch. Seokjin nods, keeping his eyes open even as he looks over at the others and finds their sole attention on him.
Maybe Seokjin should feel weird about being put on display, but instead, all he feels is a rush of warmth and pure want as Hoseok opens the condom. Seokjin’s thighs jump when Hoseok rolls the condom down his cock, but he stills as soon as Hoseok climbs atop him.
Jimin smacks Hoseok’s asscheek with a grin on his face that Seokjin can’t see, but can tell is there. Hoseok only laughs in response and picks his hips up, leaning over Seokjin until their lips can meet again. Jimin pulls his fingers out of him slowly then and Seokjin moans, smiling when Hoseok bites his lip to distract him.
Vaguely, Seokjin knows that Jimin is pouring more lube onto his other fingers and pressing them into Hoseok, double-checking that he is ready and prepped. He can feel it in the way the muscles around Hoseok’s hips tighten, keeping his ass held up high. But soon enough, Hoseok is relaxing and leaning up, breaking off their kiss.
Seokjin watches as Hoseok shuffles backward and rises up again, grabbing hold of Seokjin’s cock and moving down slowly. His hands find Hoseok’s waist instinctually, his grip tight as he makes it past Hoseok’s rim and finds himself buried in the younger man’s giving heat. Hoseok pushes down until Seokjin is in him to the hilt, hands still on his waist.
When Hoseok lets out a breath, it feels like the entire room does as well.
Hoseok starts to move then, his palms on Seokjin’s chest as he raises his hips up then slams them down. Seokjin moans, shutting his eyes again as Hoseok gets to work.
Over the sound of their moans and the heavy breathing coming from the other men though, Seokjin can hear the other condom being opened.
His suspicions are only proved correct when Jimin nudges his thighs apart and scoots forward, lifting one of Seokjin’s legs over his shoulder. Seokjin holds his breath, only exhaling when he can feel Jimin’s cock start to press against his rim. He takes deep breaths as Jimin pushes into him slowly, Hoseok having paused above him at the first sound of Jimin’s involvement.
Time seems to freeze when Jimin stops, buried deep inside him. Seokjin can feel Jimin’s ballsac pressed to his asscheeks, but he focuses on his breathing, tilting his head back as Hoseok leans down once more and takes one of his nipples into his mouth.
Seokjin moans before he can stop himself, his grip on Hoseok’s hips tightening as Hoseok rolls his nipple between his teeth. Jimin starts to move again, pulling back slowly and stopping when only the head of his cock is still inside Seokjin.
He thinks they might be some kind of sex demons though when Jimin slams back into him at the same time that Hoseok bites down on his nipple.
A shocked noise that Seokjin can’t quite pinpoint makes it way past his lips and the others close in, making their presence known. Seokjin opens his eyes again and finds Jeongguk’s cock right in front of him.
He can't help but laugh as he thinks about the fact that he now has access to six other dicks that aren’t his own. Hoseok stares up at him in confusion, but only moves onto his other nipple instead as Jimin quickens his pace.
Briefly, Seokjin wonders what Jimin would do if he were to grab hold of Jeongguk’s dick and open his mouth for Yoongi’s. He theorizes that Jimin would stop what they're doing and dole out punishments for him though and at that moment, Seokjin really doesn't want to stop.
So he moves his hands up Hoseok’s torso instead and tweaks his nipple, grinning when Hoseok jumps. Jimin takes hold of his other leg and swings it over his shoulder, effectively keeping both of Seokjin’s legs in the air. He doesn't mind too much since everyone knows just how flexible he actually is. Hands clasp his thighs and keep him still as Jimin continues to move, Hoseok beginning to find his own rhythm again above him.
Jimin’s cock drags against his prostate soon after and Seokjin chokes out a moan he can’t stop himself from making. Another of his moans rises into the air when Hoseok sits back up and fucks himself down on Seokjin’s cock, hard.
The others moan too and Seokjin can only hear their uneven breaths and the sound of skin slapping against skin now. He closes his eyes and focuses on Hoseok and Jimin, not wanting to get too overwhelmed.
Jimin’s movements are hard and fast, exactly the kind that Seokjin enjoys when he's getting fucked. Hoseok’s movements are getting slower and becoming a bit sluggish, but Seokjin knows that if he decided to move and help a little that Hoseok would only pin him down and fuck himself down harder.
...There’s a thought.
Seokjin opens his eyes and teases his hips up when Hoseok next pushes himself down. He is quickly rewarded with a curse and the hands on his chest pushing down on his sternum even harder.
“Stop moving, hyung. Fuck,” Hoseok whines, his hips never stopping.
Hoseok starts to moves faster right then, a bit of anger in his movements as he fucks himself on Seokjin’s cock. Seokjin only smiles, moaning when Jimin grazes his prostate once more. The others let out a collective exhale at the sound, but no one interrupts.
In the pit of his stomach, Seokjin can feel his orgasm building to momentous heights. It feels like an icy sort of burn that is fighting to get out, to release itself and drive Seokjin insane at the same time.
He can tell that Jimin is close at least and Hoseok is almost there. Hoseok’s thighs shake with the strain of keeping himself up, and he is losing his steam.
Seokjin moves a hand up and pinches Hoseok’s other nipple, smiling to himself as Hoseok moans and stills above him. He moves his hips upwards to finish the job and groans at the same time as Hoseok when the younger finally reaches his orgasm.
Jimin’s thrusts become sloppy then as Hoseok comes over Seokjin's stomach and chest. A little bit of the milky substance even ends up on his chin, but Seokjin doesn't mind too much. He only continues to smile, moving his other hand up Hoseok’s back and pushing him down so they can kiss again.
The come between them squelches as their lips meet, but that only spurs Jimin on so Seokjin counts it as a win.
Soon, Seokjin can feel his orgasm rising like a tidal wave until it engulfs him and he whines loudly against Hoseok’s mouth, releasing himself in the condom. Hoseok moves until he is no longer on top of Seokjin and is instead kneeling on the floor, off the couch altogether, but still keeping their kiss intact.
Seokjin shakes through his orgasm, his body spasming randomly as Jimin fucks him through it, milking it for all it’s worth. He can hear the others getting closer themselves, but they don't move forward until Hoseok has stood up and broken their kiss.
“Hyung, can weー?” Taehyung barely manages to get out.
“Yes,” Seokjin keens, cutting off Taehyung’s question because he already knows what he is asking, already knows what comes next.
He opens his eyes just in time to see Namjoon spill his release on his chest. Jeongguk steps forward before Namjoon is done and does the same, more come ending up on Seokjin’s chin than before. Yoongi and Taehyung follow in the same fashion and as soon as they have stepped away, Jimin pulls out of him and takes his condom off quickly.
Seokjin stares up at the ceiling as the last of his lovers comes on his chest, in a bit of a daze. In the back of his head, he is thinking of the long shower he will have to take again later, but at the moment all he can really do is dip his fingers into the mess on his chest and bring it to his lips slowly.
Everyone groans simultaneously as he sucks on his fingers and Seokjin grins. All eyes are on him, all blown wide with lust and want even after just getting off. Seokjin can’t help it. He meets their gazes and winks, laughing to himself when all six of them groan aloud.
He could definitely get used to this.

Jeongguk is five when he meets Taehyung.
It is the first day of big kid school and he is terrified of not making any friends, especially now that it is recess time and all the other kids seem to have already made fast friends.
He sits near their class number on the blacktop and watches everyone else run around and play, not sure of if he would be welcomed or not. A few kids are eyeing him, but he tucks his face into his arms to hide every time their gazes meet and he hopes that for whatever reason they are staring at him, it is not meant to harm him.
He knows a few of these kids from preschool, but when he tried talking to Yugyeom earlier, he had entirely blown him off for the other kids he was already playing with. So Jeongguk had sat down and resigned himself to not making any friends this year after all.
The bell is ringing now, meaning that the first and second graders are now going to come out and play and the kindergarteners only have five minutes to line up and wait to return to class. Jeongguk stands while twisting his hands together and winces when a line of second graders burst through the classroom door to his right.
He smiles politely at them like his mother told him to do when faced with someone in a grade above him, but no one takes notice of him.
Until a boy with long, dark bangs runs out of the classroom a little later than the others and is shouting something back behind him, not looking where he is going. Jeongguk can almost see how they are going to crash if he does not step out of the way, but something tells him to stay still, to let it happen.
The older boy's shoulder clips his and they go sprawling, his shoulder blades immediately flaring up with pain as they hit the blacktop. The other boy is already pushing himself up, and apologizing profusely, eyes wide enough that Jeongguk can see them even through the curtain that is his hair. Jeongguk does not say anything as the pain only intensifies when the boy stands up, no longer touching Jeongguk anymore.
He holds his hand out for Jeongguk and Jeongguk takes it after staring at it for a few moments longer. The boy pulls him up onto his feet and brushes nonexistent dirt off him, apologizing once more until Jeongguk finally seems to snap out of his daze.
"It's okay," Jeongguk murmurs, keeping his eyes downcast. "I'm sorry for being in your way."
The boy only laughs, patting Jeongguk on the back as he starts to step away. "It's my fault, don't worry about it. I'm sorry again, but I have to go now. My friends are calling for me."
And with that, the older boy runs off, Jeongguk's back tense with each step he takes. He slowly walks back onto his class number and waits for the others in his class to line up behind him, rubbing his back as he waits for their teacher.
Yugyeom tackles him from behind and asks him with a worried look in his eyes if he is okay and if the older kid was bullying him, but Jeongguk only nods then shakes his head no. He doesn't want to talk about what happened just yet.

When the last bell rings for school to be let out, Jeongguk quietly gathers his things and says goodbye to Miss Kim.
She smiles and waves him out the door, stepping out soon after him to make sure each kid is picked up. Jeongguk leans against the wall beside the open classroom door and waits for his older brother, Junghyun, to get out of classes so they can go home on the bus together, but he winces in pain as his back meets the wall. Miss Kim steps toward him and asks if he is hurt.
He shakes his head and says, "No, it's just my back."
"May I check your back, Jeonggukkie?" She asks, kneeling down so that he can easily look into her eyes if he ever looked up from his shoes.
Jeongguk bites his lip and nods, turning so that she has better access. "It's here," he says, pointing towards his shoulder blades. "It's been feeling weird since one of the big kids ran into me on accident at recess," he explains.
Miss Kim only shifts his shirt around from his collar, peeking down to stare at his tiny back. She stills though and gasps, making Jeongguk even more confused when she quickly turns him around and hugs him.
"Oh, Jeongguk, congratulations!" she cheers, pulling him up then spinning him around in a circle before she sets him neatly back down on his feet. "You met your soulmate!"
Jeongguk smiles and nods, pretending that this is the most joyous of news as his teacher continues to prattle on, but he does not understand why she congratulated him for falling on his back. Aren't you only supposed to congratulate people when they have done a good job on something? That is what his mom told him when he asked her about it last year.
(Although, she had also told him that Santa exists too and he found out a few days before Christmas that it was actually her and Papa who bought and wrapped the gifts he woke up to every Christmas morning so maybe she had lied to him about this too?)
The bell for the older kids rings then and Jeongguk grabs his backpack again once Miss Kim has quieted, smiling wide when he sees his brother near the third-grade classrooms. He goes on the tips of his toes and waves, his smile growing wider when Junghyun immediately locks onto him and waves back, quickening his pace so he can reach Jeongguk faster.
But then another face appears before him and Jeongguk takes an automatic step back when he realizes who it is.
It is the older boy from before, the one who knocked into him at recess.
His soulmate. Is that what he is to Jeongguk now?
Miss Kim looks between them and laughs, waving at the older boy. "Taehyung! Hello, how are you?"
"Hi, Miss Kim! I'm fine, how are you?" the now named older boy replies back, bouncing on the balls of his feet once he has reached them.
Jeongguk can still see his brother heading this way over to them so he tunes out the conversation and puts his backpack on, wincing when it only makes his back flare in pain again. A hand wraps around his shoulders and he looks up to be greeted by a rectangular grin as his soulmate pulls him into his side.
"Hi, Soulmate! I'm Taehyung. What's your name?" Taehyung asks, his expression friendly.
"Jeon Jeongguk," Jeongguk murmurs, his face feeling much too hot all of a sudden.
"Gukkie?" Jeongguk's brother has now reached them.
Jeongguk smiles up at Junghyun and steps away from Taehyung, bidding Miss Kim a farewell as his brother takes his backpack and slings it across his back with his own. He is just about to say goodbye to Taehyung as well when he realizes that Taehyung intends to walk with them.
"Gukkie, who's this?" Jeongguk's older brother asks, calculating Taehyung as they begin to walk away.
"Um," Jeongguk hums, pondering over what he should say exactly.
He knows soulmates are important and that their parents are soulmates, but Junghyun has not met his and Jeongguk would rather not have another fight with his brother about him losing to Jeongguk again. Not that Jeongguk thinks this is a competition or something, but Junghyun is very sensitive about a lot of things so Jeongguk is not sure what he should say exactly.
Thankfully, Taehyung speaks up for him instead, smiling wide as he holds his hand out. "I'm Taehyung! Jeonggukkie's soulmate!"
His brother does not falter in his stride nor does his smile waver, but Jeongguk can see the way something darkens in his eyes for a moment before disappearing in a flash as he takes Taehyung's outstretched hand. "Nice to meet you. I'm his big brother, Junghyun."
Jeongguk does not know why he feels like he should not interrupt this moment by speaking up right now, but once they reach the place where the buses line up and Jeongguk is turning to say goodbye to Taehyung, he falls short on what to say again.
Taehyung saves him once more by hugging him quickly and ruffling his hair, giving him a simple, "I'll see you tomorrow, Gukk-ah!"
"Yeah," Jeongguk answers a beat too late, Taehyung already lost in the crowd of children. "See you."

Jeongguk is small and he does not know much about soulmates, but when he and his brother get home, he goes up to his grandmother who is reading in the living room and tells her what happened.
She smiles and asks if she can see his soul mark and he nods, turning as he lifts his shirt off and over his head. His grandmother becomes quiet then, her breath caught in her throat. Jeongguk wants to look over his shoulder and see what has her so spellbound, but he remains still once he feels the soft, cool press of her fingertips trailing a line down his back.
"Oh, Jeonggukkie," she whispers, her voice trembling. "Have you seen it yet?"
He shakes his head, looking towards the doorway when his brother comes back down the steps and pauses at the foot of the stairs. Their grandmother waves him into the room and Jeongguk squirms as Junghyun's hand joins their grandmother's own, this time trailing a line on the other side of his back.
"Wow, Gukkie, this is so cool!" Junghyun exclaims, fingers moving of their own accord now.
"What is it?" Jeongguk asks, turning his head to try and see.
His brother laughs at his poor attempt but quiets when their grandmother taps his arm lightly. She takes Jeongguk's arm with her free hand and turns him, smiling wide.
"Go into my room and use the mirror behind my door, Jeonggukkie. I think you'll like what you see," she says, still smiling when he nods and begins to walk out of the room.
He catches a few snatches of the conversation between his older brother and grandmother about what they are having for dinner, but he decides to ignore it as he walks down the hallway and pauses before his grandmother's room.
It is smaller than his bedroom, but it was an office before she moved in with them after his grandfather died so he can see why it's not as big as his at least. He remembers how quiet his grandmother was when she first moved in, how timidly everyone regarded her. He remembers how Junghyun had clung onto him one night and cried for a very long time because he had been close to their grandfather. Jeongguk was barely four and he could not remember the sound of his grandfather's laugh anymore, but he remembered everything that happened after his death. His grandmother was sad, his parents were sad and his brother was sad, but he was not. Jeongguk had not seen the point of being sad when everyone else was already so sad all the time. Wouldn't that make them even sadder than before? Is it not better to be happy for them so that they could all quickly become happy again instead?
His grandmother always smiled for him though. She was quiet, but as soon as he stepped into the room she would grin at him and he would grin back, glad that just being in the same room as her made her the teeniest bit happy again.
He opens the door and steps inside, letting it close behind him quietly. His grandmother's room is just as he remembers: a single bed, curtains open to let in light from the solitary window, her dresser that he still can't reach the top of, and the rocking chair his grandfather made for her when they got married in the very corner. But then he finds himself looking at the mirror, his skinny torso making him pause.
He knows what a soul mark is, knows that every single person is born with one but that they do not become complete until one meets their soulmate. He knows this, but he still does not know why soulmates are so important to everyone.
Jeongguk's own soul mark is actually two marks. Two lines that run parallel to each other straight down his back. They start from his shoulder blades and end at his waist, curling outwards to circle his hips. He does not know why his teacher, his grandmother, and his brother reacted the way they did, but it must have been for a good reason so he takes a deep breath and turns around.
When Jeongguk finally looks over his shoulder, he realizes that his soul mark has filled in a little more, but something about it is off. The two lines he once had are now more detailed and thicker, even a little longer he thinks. On his right side, there is an oval lying upon the line, extending out and upward so that the top of it lays on his shoulder blade.
It is beautiful, really, it is. Except, it feels off. Jeongguk doesn't know how to explain it, but the longer he studies his back, the bigger the sense of him missing something grows.
Jeongguk's soul mark looks empty.

"You did do all of your homework, right hyung?"
Taehyung laughs ahead of him, swinging his backpack in one hand. "Of course, I did! I always do my homework."
Jeongguk clicks his tongue and smiles when his brother knocks his elbow into Taehyung's arm. "Gukkie hates it when you lie."
"I'm telling the truth," Taehyung shoots back, swatting at Junghyun's arm in return. "You can even check for yourself, hyung. I did my homework last night."
"Whatever you say, Tae," Junghyun laughs, looking back to smile at Jeongguk. "Gukkie, come and collect your soulmate, he's too much to handle."
Jeongguk laughs too and steps forward, taking Taehyung's hand in his own to pull him closer into his side. "Hyung, stop lying."
"I'm not lying! Why don't you believe me?" Taehyung whines, pulling on their joined hands as he leans down and rests his chin on Jeongguk's head. "I really did my homework this time!"
"Okay, okay," Jeongguk relents, grinning wide when Taehyung's pout becomes only more pronounced than a moment before. "You did your homework, I believe you, hyung."
"Gross," Junghyun comments, shooting them both finger guns before he runs up ahead to get past the school gates. "See you guys after school!"
"Bye, hyung!" Taehyung and Jeongguk both shout after him, laughing once he's out of sight.
Taehyung swings their hands between them as they continue to walk, the buzzing of chattering children only growing as they approach the front gates of the school. Jeongguk does not think much of the people who stare at their hands because Jeongguk doesn't think Taehyung is his boyfriend or anything like that. Taehyung is older than him, but he acts just as silly as Jeongguk does so he feels more like Jeongguk's brother than anything else really.
"You did do your homework though, right?" Taehyung asks once they reach the school gates.
Jeongguk nods, smiling up at the older boy. "I always do my homework, hyung."
"Good," Taehyung grins at him, ducking down to press a kiss on the crown of his head. "Get to class now. I'll see you after school and possibly with a new friend too!"
"A new friend?"
Taehyung shrugs, his rectangular grin blinding in the morning light. "There's a new kid in my class! His name's Jimin and since I wasn't here yesterday, I didn't get the chance to introduce myself. I'm hoping that he and I can be friends after I do."
"Oh," Jeongguk grins, his heart thrumming at the fact that Taehyung is always so friendly. "Good luck then, hyung. Fighting!"
Taehyung chuckles and lets go of Jeongguk's hand, prodding the younger boy forward in the direction of his second-grade classroom. "Thanks, Jeonggukkie. Now off to class with you!"
Jeongguk laughs and does as his soulmate says, turning back once to wave at him before running towards his classroom door and throwing himself into his seat just before the first bell begins to ring.
He calmly takes his materials out then and tries to calm his breathing, not knowing why there is a feeling in the pit of his stomach telling him that big things are going to happen today.
Tumblr media
After school, they meet in the usual place by the buses.
Junghyun is already there, waving at Jeongguk when he approaches and smiling wider than Jeongguk's seen him do in a long time. Jeongguk runs up to him and asks about his day as they both wait for Taehyung to arrive.
His brother is talking about the girl in his class that he has had a crush on for forever and Jeongguk coos over the details of how she asked him for a pencil today and was impressed by how many he had lying in wait in his pencil box. He ended up giving her five extra pencils and she giggled, only falling silent when their teacher told them to stop flirting.
Jeongguk is about to ask for her name again, and ask about which pencils he gave to her but is interrupted when Taehyung jumps onto his back and starts talking a mile a minute in his ear.
"Gukkie! I made a new friend! His name is Park Jimin and he's from Busan just like you and he's older than me by two months!"
"Hyung, if you keep yelling into my ear, I'm going to go deaf," Jeongguk chuckles, giving Junghyun an apologetic smile for his soulmate interrupting his own story.
Taehyung ruffles his hair and lets go, stepping back to give Jeongguk some space. "Sorry, but here! I want you two to meet."
Jeongguk rubs his shoulder and smiles when Junghyun takes his backpack and slings it across his back, waving at someone behind Jeongguk. "Hello, I'm Junghyun, Jeonggukkie's older brother."
"Nice to meet you," a pleasant voice says and Jeongguk turns to see a short boy with a round face, dark hair, and darker eyes waving back at his brother. "I'm Jimin."
The boy is cute, without a doubt, but Jeongguk does not know why that really matters anyway. He holds his hand out and puts on his most welcoming smile while Taehyung beams in between them.
"I'm Jeongguk, TaeTae-hyung's soulmate!" Jeongguk greets him, his smile faltering when Jimin takes his outstretched hand.
A feeling that he vaguely remembers flits across his back and makes him stumble back, his eyes blown wide. Jimin's expression mirrors his, a hand coming to grip his own shoulder. Taehyung stares between them, brows raised in question when Jeongguk takes another step back, pain now flaring down his back. Junghyun steps forward and steadies him quickly, not asking what the problem is until Jimin turns around and lifts his shirt up.
"Is it there?" Jimin asks, his shoulders hunched in on himself.
Taehyung traces the lines on Jimin's back with a single fingertip, mouth parted wide. Jeongguk knows that it looks exactly like the mark on Taehyung's back, a pair of wings that cover his entire back, but he doesn't think it'll match his own. Junghyun hikes Jeongguk's own shirt up and traces an oval on the left side of Jeongguk's back where he knows there shouldn't be one. Taehyung pulls down Jimin's shirt soon after that and whispers something to him, keeping their heads low.
"How does it look like?" Jeongguk asks his brother, looking over his shoulder to meet his gaze.
Junghyun smiles and lets his shirt fall back down. "You'll see it when we get home, but I think we should talk about it with Mom and Papa first. Okay?"
Jeongguk looks back towards Jimin and Taehyung, heart jumping into his throat at the sight of Taehyung wiping away what appears to be tears off Jimin's face. He does not know why Jimin is crying or why Taehyung is the one comforting him right now, but Jeongguk doesn't know if Jimin is actually his soulmate or not because he thought everyone only got one and that was it.
Either way, it hurts to look at them so he turns away and tugs Junghyun towards their bus when he realizes that it is about to leave, yelling a goodbye over his shoulder where Taehyung is still standing with a weeping Jimin.
Tumblr media
Jeongguk has already been staring at his back for a few hours now.
There is a new oval along the other line on his back, but it is lighter than the one on his right side, the one he got when he first met Taehyung. The oval on the left mirrors the other on the right exactly, making his soul mark look symmetrical now, but it is still off.
It is not the same as Taehyung's or Jimin's and it makes him queasy knowing that he might have two soulmates instead of one because his soul mark does not match with either of theirs.
His grandmother is unusually quiet as she makes dinner, hunched over the stove with Junghyun beside her. Jeongguk is still too short to reach the stove, so no one is willing to teach him how to cook yet, but if they hand him a bowl and tell him to mix a few ingredients together, he can definitely do that.
As soon as his parents walk through the front door, Jeongguk throws himself at them and breaks down crying.
Junghyun steps out of the room as the adults crowd around him and Jeongguk does not know why that particular fact stands out to him, but it does, so it must be important.
Between sobs, he explains what happened today at school and the next day, he is taken to the doctor's office. He has never liked going there because Dr. Song always smells too clean, but he is also scared about what Dr. Song will say about his mark not matching either Taehyung's or Jimin's. His mother goes with him and his father had offered to go as well, but he had reluctantly left for work anyway because they do need a stable income after all.
Junghyun is at school with Taehyung — and by extension, Jimin — but he had asked his older brother to say nothing about where he was. He knows that when he goes back tomorrow, Taehyung will badger with question after question and he will hesitantly give him the answers he is looking for, but that is tomorrow. And today, Jeongguk is waiting in a room with his mom for Dr. Song to come and see them.
His feet dangle over the chair in the center of the room, the paper that always covers these kinds of seats crackling with each move he makes. His mother has her hands twisted together in that way Jeongguk hates for no other reason than that it means his mother is stressed and scared at the same time. Junghyun told him it means she is anxious, but Jeongguk does not know what that word means yet so he sticks to scared and stressed instead.
The door opens then and in walks Dr. Song. He is old and short, with wispy hair that is beginning to turn grey, but when he smiles, his eyes smile too and Jeongguk thinks that is pretty cool. Despite him being a doctor who smells weird, his smile is nice and it always helps to calm Jeongguk down, especially when he comes for his flu shot every year.
His mother stands to greet him and quickly explains the situation with a hushed voice. Jeongguk bites his lip and looks down at his feet, nodding when Dr. Song asks if it is okay for him to lift his shirt up and take a peek at his soul mark. Cool air greets his skin and Jeongguk fights back a shiver when Dr. Song's gentle fingers trace the lines and shapes that make up his soul mark.
It still does not feel right, his soul mark. It looks fuller and he feels balanced on the inside, but he cannot shake off the feeling of it being empty. Of course, it is not as strong as it was before, but it is still there, pressing down on him like some invisible weight that he can barely hold up.
Dr. Song lets his shirt fall down soon after and pats Jeongguk's shoulder as he comes around to the other side of the chair so that they are at eye level with one another. "So, your soul mark doesn't look like that of your soulmates, Jeonggukkie?"
"No," Jeongguk shakes his head, biting his lip before he continues, "they both have wings."
Jeongguk's mother steps up behind him then and Jeongguk leans back, stopping once his shoulder meets her side. She wraps an arm around him as she begins talking to Dr. Song again, asking if this is normal and if something is wrong. Jeongguk does not like the way her voice sounds when she asks this, but he does not have enough time to worry over it because Dr. Song holds up his hand and smiles at them both in that way that Jeongguk has always found calming.
"There's nothing wrong, Mrs. Jeon," Dr. Song says, his voice soothing to Jeongguk's ears. "There are multiple accounts of people having more than one soulmate. The most common number of soulmates for people in these kinds of situations to have is two; however, the biggest count yet is twelve."
His mother lets out a sigh of relief, leaning down quickly to press a kiss on the crown of Jeongguk's head. "That's such great news, Doctor. Is it possible to know how many Jeonggukkie may have?"
Dr. Song is still smiling as he answers, but the shake of his head disappoints Jeongguk more than he would like to admit. "Unfortunately, no. The only way Jeongguk will know when he has met the last of his soulmates is when his soul mark fills in completely. He has met two of his own already though and he is only seven, so rest assured that your son will be happy, Mrs. Jeon."
Jeongguk looks up to meet his mother's gaze and frowns when he realizes that she is smiling, but she is also crying too. "Mom?"
She shakes her head and wipes her eyes, meeting Dr. Song's gaze again. "Thank you, Dr. Song. I was really worried that something was wrong, so thank you."
Dr. Song shakes his head and pats Jeongguk's head. "Your son is healthy and things like this are uncommon, but there's nothing wrong. Just make sure that he continues as he is and that you are there for him every step of the way. He'll be just fine."
He is seven and doesn't quite understand everything that he should, but Jeongguk is a quick learner and on that day he learns that he is okay. There is nothing wrong with him just because his soul mark does not match with Taehyung and Jimin's.
Yet.
Tumblr media
Things go shockingly smooth after that.
He has two soulmates who he cares for a lot, but he also has two best friends and an older brother who love him a lot in return too.
School is school and lots of the kids in Jeongguk's grade are in awe of the fact that he knows so many older kids, but as they get older, Jeongguk realizes that does not matter much to him. He does not want the other kids to like him simply because of who he is friends with, he wants them to like him because of him.
Jeongguk knows that he is just a young child, but with the things that he knows and the stuff he has already been put through, he feels older. Not by a lot, but just enough for it to count.
The rest of Jeongguk's elementary days are spent ignoring the itch in the back of his mind that he could meet his next soulmate at any moment. He is young and he feels that he should not be focusing on that at the moment though because he is doing his best to get to know Jimin.
Jimin is kind, undeniably kind, and he is sweet. He carries Jeongguk's backpack around and always manages to slip a snack into it before school so Jeongguk has something extra waiting for him when lunchtime comes around. Except, Jimin does not have the same soul mark as Taehyung either. He only has one wing, the left.
Jeongguk likes Jimin. He is different than Taehyung, but when his soulmates team up to do something, Jeongguk fears for everyone's lives. He is younger than them though, only by two years, but sometimes Jeongguk thinks they will get tired of him eventually and start hanging out with someone who is in their grade level or above.
And maybe it is ridiculous of him to think so, but Jeongguk cannot help it half the time. They are his soulmates, yes, but more importantly, they are his best friends and he does not want to lose them.
Tumblr media
Junghyun leaves for middle school before any of the rest of them do and Jeongguk starts to see him less and less as the years begin to go by. He is still his older brother though and they still only have a hallway standing between their rooms after all.
So he sees less of his brother, but he does see more of Taehyung and Jimin at least, which is always a plus.
They are not in middle school with him like he had hoped for, but he and Yugyeom get the chance to become closer and through Yugyeom, he meets Mingyu and Seokmin. Seokmin is very pretty and he is always smiling and soon enough, Jeongguk finds himself crushing on him.
Despite the guilt he begins to harbor for not crushing on his soulmates instead, Jimin tells him that it is fine because he has never really crushed on Jeongguk either. They are all so young and Taehyung has always said that they should enjoy themselves in the now and worry about the consequences later. Jeongguk does not know if that is the kind of advice they should be taking, but he is much too embarrassed to go to his parents about it and he could talk with his grandmother about it, but lately, he feels guilty whenever he sees her. She is always so tired and just talking with Jeongguk and Junghyun or making sure they do their homework takes a lot out of her. Now he and his brother make dinner and always make sure the food is soft enough for their grandmother to eat.
Without any other advice headed their way, they decide to take it anyway since Jeongguk is only twelve and he does not really want to date anyone right now.
Jeongguk indulges his crush on Seokmin for a while. It does not really grow into more than anything other than that and when Seokmin introduces Minghao to their group near the end of eighth grade, proclaiming him his soulmate, Jeongguk is happy for him and pretty relieved for himself too.
Jimin and Taehyung tease him for it, but when Jeongguk walks into Taehyung's room on one Saturday afternoon and finds them kissing, it feels like something cold has pierced right through Jeongguk's heart. He does not show it, and he does not let his soulmates give him any pity for it either.
He wants them to be happy, even if they are happy without him. They are still young, after all.
Tumblr media
During his very first week of high school in P.E class, a boy in Junghyun's year trips into Jeongguk, sending them both sprawling.
Jeongguk has since forgotten the feeling of anticipation curling low in his belly whenever he happens to touch someone new, wondering if this person is his soulmate also. It has been two years since he finally began to relax every time he met a new person, but when he falls, a different kind of pain flares across his back.
The boy topples on him at first, but then he is quickly pushing himself up, brushing himself off as he stumbles over an apology, flustered and stuttering. Jeongguk blinks up at him in shock, not knowing if he should be the one to say something about it or not, but his gaze catches on the very short shorts the boy is wearing and feels like he completely understands that part in Spongebob Squarepants where all the little Spongebobs in his head are running around screaming as they set fire to all his memory files.
"Wow," Jeongguk murmurs, unable to look away from the vast amount of pale skin in front of him, "thighs."
The boy flushes and holds his hand out for Jeongguk to take, smiling shyly. Jeongguk takes it and stands, his back still in pain, but the feeling is dulling now that they are touching again. Jeongguk can see their gym teachers off to the side, glaring at them both for not returning to their positions yet, but this is important.
Jeongguk already has two soulmates, but he just met his third and he will not let him go until he has his name.
As if he is able to read Jeongguk's mind, the boy grins and lets go of his hand. His dimples flash, the sight of them nearly knocking all the breath in Jeongguk's lungs out, and twists his fingers together.
"I'm Kim Namjoon."
Jeongguk finally gets the sense to smile back, probably looking like an idiot right now, but he doesn't care. "Jeon Jeongguk. Nice to meet you."
Namjoon flushes, his gaze flickering towards his feet before he meets Jeongguk's eyes. "Likewise, Soulmate."
Tumblr media
Namjoon catches him after class in the locker room and pushes a scrap of paper into his hands that contains his number.
Jeongguk texts him during lunch and does not get a response until after school when he is by the front gates with Taehyung, Jimin, and Junghyun. Yugyeom has already been picked up by his father so Jeongguk is now just waiting for Namjoon to show up so he can introduce everyone to each other.
(Even though he is nervous about whether Namjoon is his last soulmate or not, Jeongguk has not personally checked his soul mark yet, but Taehyung had taken a peek down his shirt during lunch and shook his head at him so that's probably an answer enough.)
Junghyun keeps swinging his car keys around his finger, grinning to himself. Jeongguk would be smiling too if he had a new car waiting for him in the student parking lot like his brother does. He can smile for other reasons though.
His phone chimes and Jeongguk checks the notification, laughing when Jimin rests his chin on his shoulder to see it as well.
 Namjoon: look to your left!
Jeongguk and Jimin both look in the direction Namjoon told Jeongguk to and find him waving at them, a large grin spread across his face. There is another boy with him, a tad bit shorter and a lot lankier than Jeongguk ever thought a person could be. Which is saying something, considering Jeongguk has seen Taehyung shoot right up like a bean sprout for almost all of his life, growing skinnier by the day. Jeongguk waves back at him and smiles, motioning for them to come forward.
"That's him," Jeongguk tells the three boys beside him, grinning when he looks over to see Namjoon and his friend already making their way towards them. "That's Namjoon."
Namjoon hugs him when he gets close enough and Jeongguk's brain starts screaming about Namjoon's cologne, but he squashes that down and smiles as genuinely as he can. Namjoon is soft in his arms though, something Jeongguk did not expect but is not surprised by either. He pulls back first, wondering if Namjoon being reluctant to let go is just in his imagination or not.
Jeongguk gestures towards the others behind him, grabbing Taehyung and Jimin by their arms to pull them forward. "Hi. Um, I feel that you should know this now so that you can make any decision you want to make right now, but this is Jimin-hyung and Taehyung, my other soulmates."
Namjoon only shrugs and holds his hand out for Jeongguk's soulmates to shake with a calm smile on his face. "Cool. Nice to meet you guys, I'm Namjoon."
"You're not weirded out?" Jeongguk cannot help but ask, one brow raised as Taehyung and Jimin shake Namjoon's hand.
"Nah," Namjoon shakes his hand, tugging on the arm of the lanky boy beside him. "Not when I have another soulmate too. This is Hoseok. Hobi, this is Jeongguk-ssi."
Hoseok smiles at him, the curves of his cheeks making Jeongguk want to touch his face, but he refrains and takes the hand Hoseok holds out to him instead. "Nice to meet y—oh! Well, I guess that helps solve a few issues, doesn't it?"
"What does?" Jimin asks, stepping forward. "Gukkie?"
"Oh, hi! I'm Hoseok and you're Taehyung, right?" Hoseok asks, holding his hand out to Jimin now.
Jimin chuckles and takes it, stilling right beside a wide-eyed Jeongguk when their palms meet. "Jimin, actually. Um, TaeTae, could you check my back, please? And Junghyun-hyung, mind looking at Gukkie's?"
"Joonie, can you check mine too?" Hoseok asks, his smile not faltering even once.
Taehyung stares at him in confusion for a short moment before understanding lights his expression and he rushes forward, taking a peek down Jimin's shirt. "Oh. Wow, it looks like mine, Jiminnie. Congrats!"
"Same here, Hobi. Yours is a full set of wings like mine now," Namjoon says as he steps back, patting Hoseok's back. "Congratulations are definitely in order."
Jeongguk does not happen to catch what happens next because he is much too busy focusing on Junghyun who is looking down his shirt, not saying anything as the others chatter. He does not know what he is expecting really, but when Junghyun steps back and smooths his shirt down, he turns anxiously to meet his gaze.
Junghyun shakes his head and Jeongguk tries to pretend like he is not upset.
He should be happy that he happened to meet two of his newest soulmates in one single day, but his mark still isn't complete.
Jeongguk has four soulmates now and he is still no closer to finding his last soulmate yet.
Tumblr media
When they get home, Jeongguk doesn't realize that they have arrived until Junghyun pokes his arm to get his attention.
Jeongguk is not sure about anything that he is feeling right now, but he knows he is going to go up to his room as soon as they step inside and spend hours with his back to the mirror hanging on his closet door. Junghyun knows this as well as Jeongguk does and that is probably why he is being so careful right now.
"Gukkie-yah," Junghyun murmurs, his palm resting on Jeongguk's cheek, "do you want to talk about it?"
"I don't know," Jeongguk responds, blinking away tears when they suddenly spring to his eyes. "I'm sorry."
"What are you sorry for? You haven't done anything wrong," Junghyun replies steadily, wiping at Jeongguk's eyes before any tears have the chance to spill down his face. "Meeting your soulmates shouldn't be something that you're ashamed of, Jeonggukkie. Take it from someone who hasn't met theirs yet."
Jeongguk does not know what possesses him to ask, but the words are already past his lips before he even gets the chance to stop them. "What does it feel like?"
Junghyun blinks at him, confusion marring his features.
Jeongguk takes a deep breath and readies himself to clarify, hoping with all his might that he isn't overstepping some invisible line. "What does not meeting your soulmate yet while someone close to you does feel like? Does it make you hate me?"
"Jeonggukkie, I could never hate you," Junghyun says without missing a beat, cupping Jeongguk's face with both his hands now. "You're my baby brother and it would take a lot more than you having a dozen soulmates for me to ever even think of hating you in the first place."
He sighs then, his expression morphing with a pinch of sadness at the edges. "I won't lie and say I'm completely fine whenever you meet a new soulmate of yours, but my happiness for you never lets the bad parts ever hold any weight. You do have soulmates, Jeonggukkie, but you don't have all of them so maybe you already know this whenever other people meet theirs. It sucks not having your own soulmate yet, but happiness is always at the forefront for me when you meet yours."
Jeongguk sniffs and closes his eyes, allowing his brother's words to wash over him. He sighs and wipes his eyes, letting them open again once he finally knows what he wants to say.
"Thank you, hyung."
Junghyun smiles and lets go of his face, Jeongguk already missing the warmth of his palms. "Anytime, Gukkie-yah."
Tumblr media
Junghyun tells Jeongguk all he knows about his newest soulmates and Jeongguk soon figures out for himself that Namjoon is kind and incredibly smart, even for a senior, while Hoseok is the type of guy who would smile as he stole your lunch.
Jeongguk thinks they are pretty cool and laid back though, especially Hoseok.
Namjoon is pretty dorky and always strives to keep his above 4.0 GPA steady. He is usually mumbling something or other under his breath that Jeongguk can barely every understand, but he has never once found it weird.
Hoseok is kind and caring and very soft. He is open about a lot of things and sometimes he will reek of weed whenever they all meet up on the weekends. Jeongguk doesn't mind the smell, but he does wish Hoseok would do it a little less.
They are in their senior year of high school though and Jeongguk is not sure how he is supposed to get to know his soulmates in the span of less than a year. They do have the rest of their lives to get to know each other so maybe Jeongguk should not worry so much like Taehyung has been telling him not to all these years. When it comes to soulmates, an infinite amount of possibilities are meant to happen and worrying over all of them will drive Jeongguk crazy with time.
As the year progresses though, Jeongguk finds that he really likes what he has learned about Namjoon and Hoseok so far. He also finds that it might not be the same kind of like he feels for Jimin and more like the type that he feels for Taehyung more often than not. He tries not to dwell on it much when he sees Hoseok holding hands with Namjoon and Taehyung holding Jimin's because he has never made his own feelings known and he is not sure he is supposed to do that now when they have already paired themselves off.
It usually gives him a headache and a churning feeling in his guts that he will not name for fear of messing up something that was already going so well without him.
But then one night, Taehyung comes over and kisses Jeongguk full on the mouth, making Jeongguk take pause as he tries to figure out what just happened. Taehyung lets him take his time, but he is also apologetic about the kiss and explains that Jimin had encouraged it when Taehyung had brought it up to him.
Which is all fine and dandy except for the fact that Jeongguk does not like Jimin like that and if he and Taehyung are going to be together as well, shouldn't Jimin be a part of it? Better yet, shouldn't all of Jeongguk's soulmates be a part of it?
The following weekend, Jeongguk brings it up to the other four and Namjoon smiles at him as he explains that no, not everyone needs to be included if they do not wish to be. Soulmates do not always end up together and with the five of them, that scenario is much more likely than it would be with others, but it all depends on how everyone feels.
Jimin smiles at him though and explains that he loves Taehyung and he loves Jeongguk, but it is not the same kind of love and probably never will be. Jeongguk tries to hide how relieved he is to hear that, but Jimin has known him for a long time and he grins in a reassuring way at the youngest, holding his hand out for him to take.
Jeongguk slides his palm against Jimin's and smiles back, something lodging itself in his throat as Taehyung takes his other hand and presses a kiss to his knuckles. Namjoon and Hoseok take each other's hands and watch, smiling just as wide and just as sincerely as the rest, but Jeongguk cannot shake the feeling that they want to take up their hands as well no matter how hard he tries.
He guesses all will be solved with time though so he resolves himself to wait until he can take their hands as easily as Taehyung took his.

The end of the school year is upon them before they have even had the chance to catch their breath.
Summer this year is hot and Jeongguk feels like he has sweat out buckets by the end of each school day.
As the last day of school approaches them though, Jeongguk finds that he is not ready to let go of his soulmates or his brother just yet.
Junghyun is going to study abroad for a year, wanting to see the world before he decides on what specific school he wants to go to. He will be off in the states, surviving off his less than average English and translators whenever he can come by them. Jeongguk does not know how well his brother will do there, but he will support him regardless.
Namjoon and Hoseok are both going to Seoul University. It is not far, not really, but it is more about the fact that he will no longer be able to see them every day like he has grown accustomed to. Jeongguk knows that Jimin and Taehyung feel the same way, that they too are going to miss all three boys just as much as Jeongguk will. None of them have really discussed what is going to happen after the eldest two go off to college, but the days are slowly counting down and Jeongguk feels like he is running out of time.
Which is exactly why he paints a smile on his face on the final day of school, going through the motions of it all. He attends the graduation ceremony and cheers for his brother and soulmates, standing up and recording it when their names are called out and they step up on the stage. Taehyung and Jimin are there too, hands interlocked as they cheer alongside him while Jeongguk's grandmother clutches his arm and sits gingerly back in her seat between him and his parents.
There is pride filling him to the brim and a feeling of satisfaction that would be hard to get rid of so Jeongguk simply lets it be as he sits back down, pressing the red button on his screen to end the recording.
Taehyung takes his hand once Namjoon has returned to his seat and the three of them exchange smiles, not knowing who is faking their happiness or not.
For the moment, Jeongguk does not really care as long as he has these two by his side for the year to come.
Tumblr media
Taehyung and Jimin do stay by his side the next school year, but when their birthdays are upon them, Jeongguk bites his tongue as Taehyung asks him if they can put a pause on their relationship until he is of age.
Jeongguk understands his point and he was meaning to ask the same thing himself, but he cannot help the bitter feeling that festers in his chest whenever he sees Jimin and Taehyung holding hands around school. He does not want to be jealous, especially not of his own soulmates, and sometimes he feels guilty for it. So much so that he begins to avoid them, even going so far as to decline rides home from Jimin and instead hitching one from Yugyeom and his mother.
It goes on like that for close to a month before Jimin snags him by the arm and drags him to where Taehyung is at, leaving them both to discuss things.
Taehyung is confused and hurt and Jeongguk feels awful for how he has been handling things so they both decide to do better for each other from then on. Jimin is grinning from ear to ear when they return to him, laughing like everything is okay now.
Because it is until Jeongguk remembers that he only has a few months left with his soulmates before they too leave high school as well.
When their graduation does come to pass, Jeongguk handles it infinitely times better than he did the year before with his brother and older soulmates. Namjoon and Hoseok come down for the ceremony and Jeongguk laughs as Hoseok screams at the top of his lungs when Jimin's name is called. Jeongguk's grandmother is by his side again, but she is weaker and older now and Jeongguk is afraid for her.
He kisses Taehyung goodbye on the last day of summer vacation and welcomes his junior year with open arms, finding himself immersed in schoolwork with most of his friend group from middle school. Minghao always has a senior on his arm named Junhui who pesters him constantly, but Seokmin just smiles at them and pretends like nothing is wrong even though Jeongguk and all their friends can tell that something most definitely is. He will not get into it because it is none of his business and Jeongguk should not be the one to tell them to get their act together either.
Except, it does become his business when Seokmin kisses him at a party and Minghao gives him the cold shoulder because of it. Jeongguk tries to ignore the drama, doing his best to focus on school and his grades, but it is hard to pretend like everything is okay when Minghao is glaring at him from across their lunch table every day. He takes a week's worth of glaring before he decides to hide out in the art classes instead, bringing his own lunch to school now. Their friend group is now divided by the Seokmin and Jeongguk side and the Minghao and Junhui side, which Jeongguk finds ridiculous and all kinds of petty, but it is not like anyone listens to him anymore so what does it matter really?
All of that comes to a complete stop when his grandmother dies.
Everyone attends the funeral. It is quiet and depressive, making it difficult for Jeongguk not to collapse in on himself until there is nothing left.
Jeongguk is surrounded by his soulmates and he has not let go of his brother ever since he arrived. He doesn't know what to do with himself and when he turns to see that all his friends from school are there, he cannot help the tears that fall from his eyes.
His grandmother has always been important to him and she had been worried about him at the beginning of the school year now that he was "alone". She had made an effort to make sure that they talked every day after school and that he always ate dinner, no matter what. She had always been there for him and now she is gone. She is gone and he doesn't know what he should do now.
The only thing that keeps him from breaking down completely is the love and support that his parents, brother, friends, and his soulmates give to him. They help him get through the rest of his junior year and once summer comes, Jeongguk is never alone. He is always out and about, always going somewhere, but during the night when all he does is lie in bed as he stares up at his ceiling, he cannot help the sadness that still lingers in his heart.
His grandmother would not have wanted him to be sad. She had always despised his sadness, but he knows she would not blame him for crying every time he has thought of her so far either. She will always want him happy and Jeongguk, not knowing in what direction he should take his life, decides that he is going to honor her by being what she wanted him to be: happy.
He is going to follow his heart and attend school where his soulmates are. He will apply with an undecided major and maybe once he is away from the house, away from everything that reminds him of her, he will finally know what it is that he wants to do.
It's decided then. Jeongguk is going to go to Seoul University once he graduates.
Tumblr media
Being in uni is nothing like what Jeongguk expected.
His senior year had felt like a tiny blip on his radar. He had not done much, nor participated in many things either. Dances and the like held no interest for him, but he had asked Seokmin to be his date to prom anyway because when he heard that Minghao was bringing Junhui, he felt so enraged for his friend that he made sure to make Seokmin's big ask the biggest ask anyone in high school had ever seen.
Prom had gone well and he had a lot of fun with Seokmin, but he felt so much better by the end of the night when Junhui came marching up to Seokmin with Minghao one step behind him and kissed Seokmin full on the mouth. Minghao had oggled them until Junhui roped him in and suddenly Jeongguk was the first-hand witness to their three-way make out session.
The smile on Seokmin's face ever since then has been worth it though and the three-way relationship that became a result of prom gave Jeongguk a lot of ideas for him and his own soulmates as well.
As soon as he had become of legal age, he moved into the apartment Namjoon and Hoseok rented and decided to kiss them both that very same night. Who cares if he had classes to prepare for the next day? Nothing was better than being sandwiched between the older men as they took turns kissing him.
Although, the day that Jimin and Taehyung move in might top that because being kissed by three other men while his hair is being played with was an experience that quickly becomes the norm for him.
Having all five of them in the apartment makes many things easier and when Jeongguk catches Hoseok and Jimin finally kissing one afternoon when neither of them has classes or dance practice to run off to, Jeongguk's heart swells with happiness. He cannot help jumping on Jimin's back and leaning over his shoulder to kiss Hoseok on the nose before he back hugs Jimin and wanders back into the kitchen where Taehyung is making lunch and Namjoon is sitting on the counter reading a book and doing his best to stay out of the way.
Jeongguk's classes are basic and most bore him to death, but he still has no idea what major he would like to declare.
Namjoon is majoring in linguistics and has a minor in music. Hoseok is majoring in nursing, but always makes time for his dance crew and recitals despite the hectic schedule the nurse program gives him. Jimin's major is simply dance while Taehyung's is art, specifically from the Renaissance Era. All four of them are usually busy doing something relating back to their majors and hobbies while Jeongguk is out trying to survive his 101 classes and landing a job that is close by since he still does not know how to drive.
He might be interested in music theory after he listens to one of Namjoon's songs, but it is not until Taehyung develops a hobby for photography that Jeongguk realizes what it is that he wants to do.
He declares his major a few days after that and Namjoon decides to throw him a party in celebration. Not many people show up since they do have neighbors they need to be considerate of, but it is enough and it gives Jeongguk the chance to meet more of his soulmates' friends.
He meets Taemin, a dancer in Jimin's class that likes to pinch Jimin's sides often, and then he meets Minho, a friend of Taehyung's that he met in an acting class and who happens to be Taemin's soulmate. Jeongguk leaves the four of them to wander about and say hello to his own friends, making sure everyone is comfortable and feels welcome.
In the kitchen, he finds Namjoon and Hoseok caught in a deep discussion with a short man he can only guess is Yoongi. Jeongguk's older soulmates talk about him often, always praising him for his amazing skill with music, but Jeongguk has never seen a photo of him so he doesn't know what he looks like.
Catlike eyes, a pursed mouth, and a weak chin all seem like they might make up a Yoongi though, especially now that he is able to catch snippets of their conversation and realizes they are talking about music.
Jeongguk clears his throat loudly and smiles when Hoseok jumps a foot into the air, throwing himself behind Yoongi as Namjoon turns to face him.
"Oh, hey, Jeonggukkie!" Namjoon greets him, pulling him closer until Jeongguk is tucked under his arm. "I think it's time you finally met the great Min Yoongi."
"Tch. Joonie, don't be out telling lies," Yoongi pouts, frowning as he holds his hand out to Jeongguk. "Hey, kid. I'm Yoongi."
Jeongguk smiles and nods, taking Yoongi's hand with a response on the tip of his tongue that immediately dies out once his back flares up in pain. Yoongi looks spooked and grimaces as Hoseok quickly looks down his shirt and whoops loudly enough for everyone in the apartment to hear. Namjoon peeks down Jeongguk's shirt and although he is frowning, Namjoon nods when Jeongguk turns his head to meet his gaze.
He has met another soulmate.
Tumblr media
Jeongguk's first year of university goes swimmingly well after he meets Yoongi.
When summer comes, they visit home for a few weeks then return back to Seoul. They find a bigger apartment in July and are settled in by the middle of August.
No one is surprised when Yoongi decides to accept their offer of moving in, the eldest claiming that it is simply so he doesn't have to pay an arm and a leg for rent anymore. No one believes him, but they also will not push it because Yoongi is Jeongguk's newest soulmate and it has to be hard for him to adjust to his soulmate and his soulmate's soulmates as well.
The first semester goes fine for all of them. Yoongi is no longer in school and is currently doing underground rap battles where he usually beats the competition, surprising no one. Hoseok is taking more hours at the hospital now that he is working on his vocational full time, and his dance crew mourns for him. That is, until Hoseok introduces Jimin and, by extension, Taemin to them and suddenly Jimin's schedule is jam packed with more dance practices. Taehyung and Namjoon have schedules that are laxer than the other three and Jeongguk spends time with them the most.
Once the second semester comes around though, Jeongguk finds himself with a dilemma.
His psychology professor is hot. The kind of hot that should be plastered on billboards, ads, and shopping screens all over the world. Which usually would not be what makes Jeongguk want to get closer to any of his professors, but for some reason, with Kim Seokjin it does.
Seokjin is actually a student himself as well, but the university was short on staff and needed someone to fill in the position so he had accepted. Jeongguk does not know whether he should drop out or not because of this, but after looking at the class registry forms again, he decides that his silly little crush should not keep him from getting the most out of the education he is paying for.
And so the semester continues as such. Jeongguk confesses about his crush around Valentine's and Yoongi laughs at him for falling for the man everyone and their mother wanted to sleep with back when Yoongi was still in school. Hoseok and Namjoon exchange glances, but say nothing on the matter until Jeongguk confronts them about it later.
That is how Jeongguk learns that Kim Seokjin is actually Yoongi's old roommate and his ex-boyfriend as well.
Yoongi does not talk about it often, but he had confided in Namjoon and Hoseok one night when he was in his final year and drunk, unwilling to go back to the apartment that he shared with his ex. Namjoon says that Jeongguk should not let on that he knows, to pretend he does not understand why Yoongi clams up every time Seokjin is brought up and while Jeongguk does not like it, he heeds Namjoon's warning and keeps what he knows to himself.
After that, it is difficult to focus in class. Most of what Jeongguk can think of when he stares at his professor as he is reciting his lecture is how Yoongi used to date him, how Yoongi used to lean up and kiss those plush lips. How Yoongi loved this man, used to live with him and now loves Jeongguk, lives with Jeongguk and his soulmates.
Strange does not begin to cover how Jeongguk feels about it all, but it ends up humanizing Seokjin more than he originally planned to. Now his crush doesn't feel so silly anymore. It feels dangerous.
Jeongguk has only just gotten another oval his back, right near the base of his spine. His soul mark is still incomplete, but when Yoongi came a lot changed. Jeongguk feels guilty for even having this dumb crush on his ex in the first place. The fact that Jeongguk knows things he is not even supposed to does not make matters any better. If anything, they are worse.
But he focuses and tries his best in the class, interacting with Seokjin as little as possible in the hopes of not feeling like complete shit for the way that he feels whenever he is around.
The end of the semester looms ahead and Jeongguk is actively looking forward to it as he is any other time. Maybe he will stop feeling so weird once he is not taking a class that Seokjin teaches. Maybe he will finally be able to ask Yoongi himself about what happened between the two of them.
Finals quickly take over and Jeongguk studies like there is no tomorrow. He barely eats and sleeps in between classes now, but the majority of his time is dedicated to studying as much material as he can for the important classes he can not afford to fail. The night before his psychology final, Yoongi forcibly wrestles his textbook away from him and wrangles Taehyung into the fight of their lives: putting a struggling Jeongguk to bed.
It works though and Jeongguk sleeps soundly with Yoongi in his arms and Taehyung spooning him from behind, with Jimin somehow finding his way into the bed during the night.
He wakes up early that morning and Yoongi makes them all breakfast before he leaves for work. He makes Namjoon promise to pick Jeongguk up from class once his exam is over and Jeongguk bids the eldest goodbye with a kiss that he hopes says a lot more than what Jeongguk's tired brain can put together right now.
The exam goes smoothly and Jeongguk takes his time with it, still managing to finish up with a lot of time to spare as he double-checks his answers. Even that does not take too long to do and Jeongguk takes to doodling angel wings on his hand as he waits for Seokjin to call time.
When his professor finally does, Jeongguk takes the scantrons the girl behind him gives him and adds his own to the top of the stack before handing it off to the boy seated in front of him. Seokjin collects them and smiles as he starts to wave everyone out, some people already out the door before he has even uttered a word.
"It was nice having you all this semester. Grades should be up by the end of the week and you'll have a week after that to contact me in case you have questions about the grade you received. Happy summer everyone," Seokjin says, the bags under his eyes barely noticeable as he grins.
Jeongguk waits until most of the class has emptied out before he packs his things away and walks up to Seokjin's desk. There is a small line of people standing before him, waiting their turn to talk to him so Jeongguk decides to text Namjoon about being a while. It is to his relief that no one decides to stand behind him and anyone else who is not in line has emptied out of the classroom. Namjoon responds to his text almost immediately and Jeongguk looks up as the door opens again, revealing a tired-looking Namjoon who strides purposefully towards him.
He can feel eyes on his back, but Jeongguk merely steps up as the line moves and waits to see what Namjoon does. Namjoon takes a seat near the front of the class and turns until he's able to face Jeongguk, giving him a thumbs up when Jeongguk quirks a brow up at him. Jeongguk smiles and shakes his head, stepping forward once more as the person in front of him steps up to Seokjin's desk.
Swinging his backpack around, Jeongguk manages to take out the gift he had prepared and feels his heartbeat spike when he realizes that his turn is next. To be fair, he has always given his teachers gifts on the last day of class, but he feels awfully nervous now with Seokjin seated only a few inches away from him. He carefully tunes out whatever the girl in front of him is saying to Seokjin, but it is hard to ignore the lull of his voice. Jeongguk can already feel his face heating up and is sure that he resembles a tomato at this point, but when he looks towards Namjoon, the encouraging nod that he receives helps him calm down a little.
Jeongguk takes a deep breath as the girl steps away and exits, his heart jumping into his throat when Seokjin's eyes land on him.
"Ah, Jeongguk-ssi. May I help you with something?" Seokjin asks when it looks like Jeongguk won't be the one to speak up first.
With trembling hands, Jeongguk lays the gift on the desk between them, acutely aware that Namjoon is watching this all unfold. He remains silent as Seokjin take the gift, holding it in his palm as if he is trying to determine its weight. Namjoon snickers behind him and Jeongguk shoots him a glare over his shoulder before he turns back to Seokjin and offers him a timid smile.
Seokjin is grinning like he just won the lottery. "Thank you, Jeongguk-ssi. I'll be sure to open it after I have input the grades."
Jeongguk begins to speak before he can think to stop himself, his face flaming. "You can open it now if you'd like."
"But why would I accept a bribe so easily?" Seokjin asks, chuckling under his breath when Jeongguk's face feels even hotter. "It was a pleasure having you in my class this semester. Too bad I won't be teaching again. I would have liked seeing you once more."
"You're not going to teach anymore?" Jeongguk asks, losing some of the nervous feelings in his gut. "Either way, I don't think you'd see more of me anyway. I'm not a psych major."
Seokjin smiles, eyes flitting towards Namjoon before he focuses again on Jeongguk. "Ah, that's too bad. Still, I'm glad I had this opportunity to meet you. Thank you for the gift again. Have a great summer."
"It's no problem," Jeongguk manages to smile back at him and holds his hand out for Seokjin to shake. "I hope your summer is pleasant."
What happens next is a bit of a blur but Jeongguk still remembers the sharpest pain he has ever experienced striking through him at the exact moment Seokjin took his hand. Namjoon had suddenly been there, asking him questions that Jeongguk barely managed to answer and Seokjin's face was pale.
"Check my back, please?" Jeongguk remembers asking, Namjoon's face still too close to his own.
Namjoon had done what he asked and ran a hand over his lower back, the right side feeling much too tender for Jeongguk's tastes. Seokjin had sat up and turned as he took off his shirt to reveal his back.
His soul mark was the same that Jeongguk's soulmates had on their backs as well.
Angel wings.
Tumblr media
After that, Jeongguk asks Seokjin out to dinner as Namjoon holds him up, face crumpled with worry.
Jeongguk gives him his number when Seokjin decides that he wants to think about it first and then lets Namjoon lead the way back to their apartment, Seokjin's pale face all that he can remember afterward. It is strange knowing his newest soulmate was once his teacher because once Seokjin actually gives him a response, it is only a few days after summer break has started and grades have been finalized.
Summer is staring them in the face and he should be busy with preparations for when their families come over, but Jeongguk finds himself arranging a dinner so his soulmates can formally meet Seokjin instead. Maybe by next summer Seokjin will be living with them as well and his family will join all of theirs, but there are a lot of obstacles in the way of that which Jeongguk needs to get over first.
He is not sure yet how to tell Yoongi that his ex is his soulmate too, but Jeongguk supposes that he will get to that when it comes. That is a problem for future Jeongguk after all.
Namjoon does not say anything about what happened, but Jeongguk knows he is itching to lay it all out simply because when it comes to secrets, he is the worst. Jeongguk is surprised he has held off as long as he has actually.
As he plans the dinner though, he tries his best to not think about his soul mark. He has failed at it so far, but no harm in trying though, right?
It would be hard for almost anybody to walk around with an incomplete soul mark on their back. Jeongguk has looked at it in detail for a few hours when he did not have work to rush off to and then decides to show everyone else. Hoseok is the first to touch his mark, his nimble fingers trailing all six of the ovals on his back and then Taehyung joins him and before Jeongguk knows it, his soulmates have gathered around him with at least one hand on his back at all times. They do not ask about who his new soulmate is, but that is only because Jeongguk beats them to it by explaining that he wants them all to meet him at dinner later this week. His soulmates agree immediately and Jeongguk smiles, feeling lighter knowing that they are there for him.
The two lines that run down his back are thicker and the longest they have ever been and Jeongguk knows what the finished project should look like, but his soul mark still feels empty to him. He wonders if maybe he does have another soulmate to find, but something in the back of his mind tells him no. A niggling feeling that is embedded in his very soul, something he cannot explain quite right, but it is unwavering and so Jeongguk holds onto that thought even though his incomplete soul mark should be the only evidence he needs to prove it wrong.
He and Seokjin text each other over the next couple days, Jeongguk's crush growing with each passing day as he realizes just how chaotic Seokjin truly is. Seokjin is funny, intelligent, handsome, and thoughtful. Jeongguk can see why Yoongi fell for him in the first place and with that thought, he decides to swallow his guilt and bites his nails as the dinner approaches day by day.
Soon enough, Jeongguk finds himself at a restaurant nearby with five of his soulmates around him as he waits for the sixth to arrive. Jeongguk had set up the reservations and had gotten the large table to fit them all, so all Seokjin has to do is give his name and then he will be led right to them. At the moment, Jeongguk is tapping his fingertips across his thigh, nerves building up in his chest until it feels like he cannot stay still even if he tried.
"Hey, Gukkie, chill. We're pretty early so there's no need to worry," Taehyung tells him, his rectangular grin spreading his lips wide. "Deep breaths, babe."
Jeongguk nods and then nearly falls out of his chair when his phone vibrates with a new notification. Once he has managed to extract it from the pocket of his pants, Jeongguk checks the screen to find that Seokjin has just arrived and is heading inside to meet him.
"He's here," Jeongguk manages to get out, eyes roaming around the table to look at his soulmates. "Please remember that I have no power in who my soulmate gets to be and that I don't favor one of you over the others at all."
While they do appear to be confused by his choice of words, Jeongguk is relieved when all five of his soulmates nod their heads and then look behind him as two people approach their table near the center of the restaurant. Jeongguk stands and turns to face Seokjin and their waiter, fidgeting with his hands when he catches sight of Seokjin's puzzled expression.
To their waiter, Jeongguk says, "We'll need a moment to decide on drinks, but can you leave the menus on the table, please? Thank you."
The waiter nods and very quickly deposits seven menus on their table, scurrying away when no one has said anything. Jeongguk stiffens up once their waiter has left and decides that explaining to Seokjin first about why there are five more people than expected joining them for their dinner will be the easiest route to take right now.
"Before you say anything," Jeongguk starts with, cutting off whatever Seokjin was going to say, "I want to you to know the reason why these guys are here is because they are my soulmates too."
Seokjin blinks at him, unsure of what to say so Jeongguk nods his head and continues, doing his best to recall what he had planned before.
"I thought it best for all of you to meet each other formally before anything between us could be pursued. I want you to know that I'm literally bringing all of my cards to the table and that I hope you can accept them in case you decide to bring your own," Jeongguk finishes explaining, frowning when he thinks of the possible ways Seokjin could react. "If you think it's too weird or too much for you, that's fine, I guess. We can just be friends or pretend like we don't each other if that's easier for you."
"Gukk-ah, I wouldn't want to pretend like we don't know each other. We're soulmates and that means I'm here to accept you for any weird or unexpected things you might spring upon me," Seokjin murmurs once Jeongguk has finished saying what he needs to, a barely there smile on his face as he looks behind Jeongguk towards the table full of Jeongguk's favorite people. "Thank you for putting this all together. I'm excited to get to know everyone, but, uh..."
Seokjin is still looking past him and Jeongguk knows who exactly he might be looking at so he nods when Seokjin raises a brow at him.
"Yoongi-yah," Seokjin says over Jeongguk's shoulder, his expression carefully blank. "A moment, please?"
Jeongguk listens to the elder as he rises from the table and approaches them, pausing in front of Jeongguk to stare at him first, his eyes wide and mouth set into a frown. Jeongguk winces and fidgets with his hands again, looking at his feet now.
"Sorry, hyung," Jeongguk says quietly enough that Yoongi could pretend he didn't hear him in the first place.
Yoongi shakes his head and quickly hugs him, talking low into his ear so the others cannot hear. "Not your fault. I can't blame you for this, Gukkie-yah."
He steps back then and follows after Seokjin, leaving Jeongguk to stare at their backs as they walk away. Jeongguk turns and sits back in his seat, feeling small as he meets the gaze of the other four present.
"Do you think they'll try to kill each other?" Jeongguk asks, uncaring of the pout on his lips.
Namjoon looks like he is about to say yes, but his mouth snaps shut when Hoseok elbows him in the side and offers Jeongguk a reassuring smile instead.
"Nah," Hoseok says, his bright smile already making Jeongguk feel a little better about this situation. "Yoongi-hyung told me he was still in love with his ex and the only reason they broke up was because they weren't each other's soulmates, so this is probably Christmas come early for him."
Jeongguk, not feeling convinced, looks towards Taehyung who is smiling at him the same way Hoseok is. "Don't sweat it, Jeonggukkie. Hyung wouldn't kill your new soulmate. They'll probably come back holding hands because that's how Yoongi-hyung solves all his problems when he's mad. You know that."
Jimin pipes up then, leaning into Taehyung's side as he grins at Jeongguk too. "Aside from that though, let me ask what we're all thinking: a teacher, Jeongguk-ah? Isn't that a little much, even for you?"
"It isn't like it's my fault the universe decided I am to be a soulmate slut, hyung," Jeongguk mumbles, crossing his arms over his chest when Jimin's face turns pink. "I don't have a say in this."
"Okay, firstly don't call yourself that. It makes us all uncomfortable every time you insult yourself," Jimin says, cutting off whatever an indignant Namjoon was going to spit out. "Secondly, you do have a say in this. You had a say in you and me and we both agreed it wasn't going to be something like that between us. You have that same choice to make with Seokjin too."
Jeongguk sighs and rests his elbow on the table, supporting his head with the heel of his palm. "You're right, hyung. I'm sorry."
Jimin nods like that's that and turns back to Taehyung as he picks up a menu, already discussing what he is going to order. Hoseok shakes his head at Jimin from across the table and pulls up his own menu as well, covering his face with it as he peruses through the pages. Jeongguk is then left with Namjoon who has not stopped staring at him since he sat down.
"Yes, hyung?" Jeongguk asks when Namjoon still hasn't said anything.
Namjoon startles and shakes himself out of his stupor, offering Jeongguk a timid smile when he continues to stare back at him unimpressed. "Sorry. Um, I just wanted to say that despite any history Yoongi-hyung and Seokjin-ssi have, I know neither of them is going to be upset or angry with you for anything that happens after this. Hyung let me listen to a song he wrote about his childhood with Seokjin-ssi a while ago and I could immediately tell that he had been in love with him for a long time and I don't think that ever went away. You shouldn't worry so much, Jeonggukkie. Everything is definitely going to work out in the end."
"I know that you're right, hyung — that you all are — but it's hard to know for sure and you already know how anxious little things can make me. Just imagine how I'm feeling about this, a really big and important thing like this!" Jeongguk exclaims, feeling on the side of hysterical when Namjoon only continues to smile at him. "I think I'm freaking out."
But Namjoon only shakes his head and takes Jeongguk's hand, smiling like the universe personally told him a secret that others can only dare to dream about. "Deep breaths, Gukkie. I promise you, things are going to turn out okay."
Jeongguk opens his mouth to say something in response, but the words die in his throat when he realizes that everyone else has gone quiet and are now staring behind him. He turns to find that Taehyung was right.
Yoongi and Seokjin are back and they are holding hands. Seokjin is grinning with excitement as he waves to the entire table and introduces himself. Jimin takes it upon himself to introduce everyone when it looks like Jeongguk won't be able to do it and makes the tension at the table disappear somehow. Hoseok joins his soulmate not too soon after and it comes as a shock to Jeongguk when Seokjin laughs at one of Hoseok's awful dad jokes. Jeongguk can barely remember that he has to breathe as Yoongi lets go of Seokjin's hand and walks back to his seat beside Taehyung, pausing when he passes Jeongguk to ruffle his hair fondly with a reassuring smile on his face.
Jeongguk feels featherlight now and the unease in his chest disappears almost instantly as he turns back to the table at large while Seokjin walks to the empty seat beside Namjoon. He feels giddy and cannot quite stop smiling, but it is okay somehow. Something in him is repeating Namjoon's earlier sentiment in his head, telling him with no room to argue that things are going to be just fine after all.
Seokjin has just sat down at the table, shaking his head and smiling like he cannot believe what is going on as Jimin teases Hoseok for his awful joke and it is at that exact moment when something clicks into place for Jeongguk.
His back does not flare with pain like it had all the other times his soul mark had been added on to it. This time it feels like a stream of cool water is traveling down his back, calming and centering him at the same time. It is smooth and fulfilling and otherworldly all at the same time.
Taehyung faces Seokjin to tell him something from across the table and Jeongguk comes back to, knowing without having to look that he finally his wings. The same wings that decorate all their backs, proclaiming them his soulmates.
Seokjin really was his last soulmate, but it took all seven of them together to complete him. All seven with no exceptions.
Jeongguk is just relieved that he can fly with the others now so he waits until they come back to the apartment to lift up his shirt and show off his complete soul mark. His soulmates crowd around him and touch his back, marveling at it even though the same wings decorate their own backs as well, but he does not mind. He cannot stop smiling and when Namjoon asks him if he is okay, Jeongguk nods without having to think about it and looks over his shoulder to find all his soulmates staring right back.
He has never felt better.
Tumblr media
With six soulmates of his own comes a lot of sex.
Jeongguk finds that it is different with all of them and that he could never tire of it (and probably never will).
He can remember his firsts all too well and it always makes him hot and bothered, but he supposes that right now, with everyone watching him undress, is a good time to become hot and bothered. So Jeongguk closes his eyes and lets the memories wash over him.
Taehyung has always had big hands, but it did not really register in Jeongguk's head just how big his hands really were until they were all over him. Taehyung was definitely handsy at the best of times and he loves sharing physical affection with those that he cares about, but when it comes to sex, Jeongguk never expected to feel so small pressed against his first soulmate. He had crumbled away in Taehyung's capable hands and felt like the whines he had made were punched out of him when Taehyung took his nipple between his teeth and pulled on it as he opened him up on three fingers. Once Taehyung's cock had slid into him, the elder had set up a pace and stuck to it, only slowing when Jeongguk asked and always asked for confirmation before he tried something. Sex was sweet with him and it was all Jeongguk could hope for when he had thought of all the different ways he could lose his virginity.
Of course, he and Jimin have never had sex, but he can recall all the times one of them has watched the other have sex. Jeongguk is especially fond of the way Jimin plays with his hair when he becomes a little too overwhelmed with the way things are shaping out to be and had even tried kissing him once before he realized it did nothing for either of them.
Namjoon is big. There is pretty much no other way to physically describe him than that and everything about Namjoon is big too, even down to his dick. Of course, he is also soft too and when Jeongguk sat on his lap and gyrated his hips down, Namjoon had given him little encouragements as he grabbed his waist and helped him move in the best way possible. Namjoon had stripped them of their clothes slowly enough to drive Jeongguk crazy and by the time Namjoon was three fingers into him, Jeongguk was a mewling mess. His heart had hammered in his throat when he felt the head of Namjoon's cock at his rim, but when Namjoon slowly worked himself in, Jeongguk's mind had gone startlingly quiet once he had bottomed out. The sex was completely soft after that and Jeongguk cried as Namjoon held his face while he fucked him.
It came as no surprise for Jeongguk to learn that Hoseok is sadistic even in bed. His smile blinds almost everyone to this and while Jeongguk thought he had a good idea of how Hoseok operates after watching Jimin fuck him into the mattress, he had been proven wrong as Hoseok turned over to face him while Jimin redressed himself and practically ripped off Jeongguk's clothes. Jeongguk had cried within two minutes of Hoseok getting his hands on him and Hoseok had only smiled and slowed down as he asked for his color. Jeongguk had given him a green and Hoseok kept at it, raking his nails down Jeongguk's chest and back as he got him onto all fours then ran his tongue from Jeongguk's rim to his taint. Jeongguk was in pain for half the time he was under Hoseok, but it was a good kind of pain and even after Hoseok had fucked him seven ways to Sunday, Jeongguk nearly screamed as he came hard enough to see stars.
Yoongi's way of having sex was much simpler. Jeongguk did a lot the work, but that was really because Yoongi had gotten home later than usual and was deadbeat tired but had trouble falling asleep. So Jeongguk straddled his waist on the bed and rubbed against him until he was hard. He then took off his shorts and stretched himself out, pulling Yoongi's sweatpants down to his knees once he was ready. He did wait until Yoongi gripped his hips before he sat himself down on the elder's cock, but after that, it was slow and plenty sensual. Jeongguk had ridden Yoongi until they both came and then the elder stretched his limbs out and fell asleep with his pants bunched at his knees. Jeongguk had laughed himself sick at the sight and quickly cleaned up while his ass tingled with a familiar sore feeling.
Things with Seokjin did not escalate until a few months after they had all moved into the new apartment Seokjin's father had helped them get. By that time, Yoongi and he were back together and Jeongguk had been itching to try the cock that made Yoongi wince every time he sat down. Of course, he also wanted to be intimate with the newest of his soulmates, but Jeongguk had quickly discovered that he was, in fact, a soulmate slut in every sense of the word. Seokjin had manhandled him into the bed and worked four fingers into him as he degraded him, asking for Jeongguk's color every few minutes. Jeongguk had supplied a multitude of greens and curses, wondering why Seokjin insisted on four fingers instead of the usual three Jeongguk was used to until he caught sight of Seokjin's cock and almost choked on the word green. Seokjin took his time working himself into Jeongguk, but by the time he had settled, Jeongguk was so far gone it was a wonder he hadn't died from pure bliss until then. Jeongguk whined as he clung to the elder as he held him up against the wall and pounded into him. It went without saying that Jeongguk slept soundly that night, but couldn't sit down for the next two days.
Since then, Jeongguk has figured out that everyone has more or less slept with everyone else at some point and it should be easy to bring them all together now for a night of sex. It has been a year spent in their new and bigger apartment so Jeongguk doesn't understand how it has taken them this long, but he won't complain either.
He finishes taking off his clothes and stands there bare while his soulmates look on, so many sets of eyes glued on him. It is unnerving being the only naked person in a room filled with clothed bodies, he will admit, but these are his soulmates, his best friends, and his lovers so Jeongguk does his best not to think too much on it.
They all follow his example soon after and he is not alone anymore. Seokjin leads them towards the mattresses they pushed together earlier and falls on top it, moving when another of Jeongguk's soulmates joins him. Jeongguk takes a step forward and looks down at them, thinking over everything that has led up to this point and finding only a bubble of happiness, love, and lust embedded in his chest. He is with his favorite people in the world and they are all waiting for him to join them before they go any further. Suddenly, Jeongguk does not have to think of anything then, much too enraptured with the people he loves to care or worry about anything.
He falls into their mess of limbs as easily as he fell in love with them.
Tumblr media
"Hey, so I met my soulmate," Junghyun rings him up one day to say.
Jeongguk almost drops the mug in his hands. "You met your soulmate?"
Everyone at the kitchen table freezes to look up at him, all wondering who he is on the phone with.
"Yeah, I ran into them yesterday when I was leaving for work," his brother replies, something ultimately hesitant in his voice. "I don't know how to tell them I'm already married, Jeonggukkie."
"Well, hyung," Jeongguk tries, setting the mug down on the table, "you have to be honest. They'll understand, I'm sure. I mean, having a soulmate doesn't always mean you fall in love with them, you know?"
"Like you and Jimin?"
"Exactly like Jimin and I, hyung!" Jeongguk nods, trying his best to not let on how desperately he's grasping at straws right now. "Just be honest and wherever it leads, it'll be in a place where you're both happy. It took me a while to understand that, but I have all my soulmates, hyung, and I couldn't be happier. You'll be okay."
Junghyun is quiet on his side of the line for one very long moment, a moment that Jeongguk is too scared to break himself. He bites his lip and waits, growing the teeniest bit nervous when he realizes that all of his soulmates are now looking at him with something other than confusion in their eyes — even Jimin. The silence between Jeongguk and his brother grows, but then Junghyun sighs into the receiver and groans, sounding more like himself already.
"You're right, Jeonggukkie. What would I do without you?"
Jeongguk laughs, the tension at their table breaking almost immediately as Taehyung tries to swipe Namjoon's toast and is reprimanded by Seokjin instead. "I don't know, hyung. I really don't."
"Thanks, Gukkie-yah. I'll call you later, yeah? Love you!" Junghyun chimes, sounding calmer now than when they began their conversation.
"Sure, hyung. Bye, I love you too!"
Soon enough, there is a click on the other end of the line and Jeongguk sets his phone down on the table, turning towards his soulmates to answer the questions he knows they are dying to ask.
"Who was that?" Taehyung asks with his mouth full of food.
Jeongguk smiles when Jimin slaps Taehyung's arm and reminds him to not talk with food in his mouth and watches as his first soulmate swallows it down, an indignant expression on his face. "Junghyun-hyung."
"He met his soulmate?" Jimin focuses on him, leaning forward to stare more intently at Jeongguk from across the table.
"Yeah, he said he met them yesterday after work."
Namjoon turns in his seat beside him and quirks one brow up in question. "Isn't he married?"
"Yep," Jeongguk replies, picking up his fork and knife to cut into the pancakes Seokjin made for them.
"Doesn't that worry you?" Hoseok chimes in then, his usual happy expression gone from his face at that moment.
Jeongguk tilts his head and bites his lip, giving it his attention as he looks over the bits of information Junghyun gave him. He then compares that to what he already knows about his brother and his current life, a knowing feeling going through him once he does.
He picks up a piece of pancake with his fork and shakes his head to answer Hoseok, smiling at his plate. "Not really."
Yoongi sits up beside Taehyung and leans his elbows on the table as he stares at Jeongguk. "Are you sure you're not worried?"
"I'm sure," Jeongguk replies without missing a beat.
"Do you think it'll end well for him?" Seokjin asks from one end of the table, frowning as he cuts into his own pancake without looking at his plate to see what he is doing. "Will he be happy in the end?"
Jeongguk shrugs and smiles, popping the piece of pancake into his mouth before he swallows and gives them all an answer he didn't have to think that hard about. "It ended well for me, for all of us really. I know he'll be happy no matter what happens. After all, that's what soulmates are about."
And well, no one can really argue against that answer, can they?

pull out all the stops
Tumblr media
pairing: ot7 (seokjin x everyone)  genre: fluff, birthday au, rated pg13 warnings: none words: 751
summary: Seokjin doesn't want his birthday to be a big thing, but he's also really glad when his boyfriends don't listen and pull out all the stops anyway.
Tumblr media
"You know I didn't want it to be a big deal."
Taehyung rolls his eyes and presses a kiss to the corner of Seokjin's mouth while the other five men stand behind him in a loose circle. "And you know that we're all thankful for you being born so, for us, this is just the least we could do."
Seokjin slaps his arm and tilts his head up when Namjoon silently walks forward to kiss him too. "You're unbelievable."
Jimin is right behind the tallest of their group, his eyes crinkled up as he smiles at Seokjin. "Hyung, you had to have seen this coming. We were not subtle. Like, at all."
A quick press of lips is all it takes to silence Jimin's giggles, and Seokjin relishes in the way the shorter man curves into him automatically, seeking more, but Seokjin has three other men to kiss so he steps back and pulls Hoseok forward next. Hoseok doesn't say anything at all, just kisses Seokjin quickly and grabs Jimin's face before he litters his cheeks with kisses and coos at how cute he is. Seokjin rolls his eyes at them and steps around them to reach Yoongi.
"We really weren't subtle, hyung. You're getting too old if you really thought we wouldn't do something big for your birthday," Yoongi says as blank-faced as he can manage before a smile breaks out across his face. "You deserve the best."
Seokjin feels like he should be mad about his boyfriends ignoring his wishes for a quiet birthday, but he can't. Not when Yoongi puts it like that anyway. So he sighs and nods his head, kissing Yoongi a little longer than he did the others before he breaks away to catch his breath and lets his gaze land on Jeongguk who is flushed a pretty pink from watching the two eldest kiss.
"Sure I deserve the best," Seokjin starts as he grabs hold of Jeongguk and pulls him closer. "But I already have you guys and nothing is better than that."
Jeongguk grins and throws his arms around Seokjin's neck, pulling the elder as close as possible before he kisses him with all he has. Seokjin is a bit taken aback from the intensity of it, but its Jeongguk and Seokjin should not have expected anything less when it comes to the youngest of his boyfriends. The others whoop beside them, egging them on, but they're in public and this is seriously not the time for Seokjin to pop one as Jeongguk bites and licks his way into his mouth.
It takes a lot of effort (all on Seokjin's account) to push Jeongguk far enough away so their mouths are no longer stuck to one another, but even then, he keeps Jeongguk close and holds out his other arm to bring Yoongi forward. Namjoon joins them with Taehyung hot on his heels and when Jimin and Hoseok plaster themselves to his back, Seokjin feels warm in the middle of his favorite people.
A carnival rented out just for him is not what Seokjin wanted for his birthday, but he knows his boyfriends love him enough to not really care about that and Seokjin loves them just enough back not to either.
Its still a pretty great birthday regardless and Seokjin lets that thought wrap itself around him almost as tightly as his six boyfriends are right now. Jeongguk buries his nose into Seokjin's throat and Taehyung fists Seokjin's hoodie with enough force to leave his blood racing, but the other four just hold him and murmur a happy birthday to him before they break apart and make their way towards the first ride. By the end of the night, Seokjin can't even remember what he was arguing against in the first place because everything is so much fun and he can't stop smiling. His boyfriends kiss him one by one and wish him another happy birthday before they all pile into the van and start the drive home, spent and buzzing with content. Yoongi holds his hand tight the entire ride and Seokjin is attacked with more kisses when they finally get home, but he has enough sense to return them and hold everyone tight for just a few moments before they collapse in their beds.
Seokjin watches the ceiling and is unsurprised when the others slowly crawl into his bed, so he makes room for them and gets kissed again squished between the six men he loves most.
Best. Birthday. Ever.

hold a candle to my heart
Tumblr media
pairing: ot7 (seokjin x everyone)  genre: fluff, birthday au, rated g  warnings: nonbinary character, trans male character  words: 220
summary: Seokjin loves them all.
Tumblr media
Seokjin watches with a smile as his lovers settle around him.
Yoongi is busy keeping Namjoon away from the candles of the birthday cake, a wary look on his face as Namjoon tries his best to take photos of it. Hoseok is hanging onto Jimin, mouth seemingly permanently attached to his throat while Jimin lets him cling, only annoyed when Hoseok’s limbs stop him from playing some hand game with Taehyung. Jeongguk is eyeing Seokjin’s cake like he intends to eat it all by himself and Seokjin would laugh if he also wasn’t mildly concerned by how many crumbs would get on his blue dress.
Taehyung’s voice rises up then, obviously irritated with Jimin for not playing with them, but it dies down once Hoseok leans over and kisses them square on the mouth. Jeongguk laughs at how red Taehyung’s face becomes, the sound of it bright like bells and enough to draw Namjoon’s attention away from Seokjin’s birthday cake.
Yoongi smiles at Jeongguk before slapping Jimin’s hands away and sighing aloud when Namjoon goes back to taking pictures.
All in all, it’s pretty much the best birthday dinner Seokjin’s had in a long time and when Jeongguk turns off the lights so they can sing happy birthday to him, instead of blowing his candles, Seokjin kisses all of them.

flowers and chocolate
Tumblr media
pairing: ot7 (hoseok x everyone)  genre: fluff, smut, valentine’s day au, rated e  warnings: explicit sexual content, hoseok being oblivious   words: 3240
summary: Hoseok hadn’t even known it was Valentine’s Day, but when Mark oh-so-kindly reminded him, he rushed back home with flowers and chocolate and a proposal he wasn’t really sure would be welcomed when he got back to his six boyfriends (but were they really his boyfriends? because he still didn’t know and it’d been six years already so here goes).
Tumblr media
“So when are you going to propose, Hoseok-ah?”
Mark’s voice startled Hoseok. He’d been busy staring at Jackson’s hair for the past half hour at dinner and no one had bothered to break him out of his trance until then.
“Excuse me?” Hoseok asked, not really sure if Mark had actually said what he thought he’d said.
Mark rolled his eyes and before he could open his mouth to speak, Jinyoung was answering for him instead. “When are you going to propose?”
Jackson looked up, suddenly very interested in the conversation. Hoseok stared at the two men sitting across from him in the booth and felt his mouth hanging wide. Jinyoung leaned over to pull his jaw up from where Hoseok thought it was on the floor.
“Propose?” Hoseok managed, still not really sure he was hearing correctly.
Jackson clapped his hands together and pulled on the sleeve of Hoseok’s jacket. “You know, like get engaged.”
Hoseok stared at Jackson before his gaze flickered towards Jackson’s boyfriends. “I know what propose means. I just don't know what you guys mean.”
“I thought it was clear,” Mark shrugged, pretty indifferent about the whole thing, and leaned back in his seat, throwing an arm over Jinyoung’s shoulders and extending his other arm for Jackson to take as he did. “But since you obviously want to play dumb, I'll just be even more specific. When are you going to propose to your boyfriends?”
Hoseok paused, tilting his head to the side like he was analyzing Mark’s words. He knew who Mark meant when he had said boyfriends, but technically, Hoseok wasn’t in a relationship with anybody. It was just that he and the others had stopped correcting people about terminology a long time ago. And well, all seven of them did live together after all and on occasion, they would go on dates. Of course, they would fuck afterwards too, but no one had ever said anything about dating or even officially being together until Seokjin told them that he wouldn’t invite any of their friends to their wedding if they partied like that again.
Hoseok looked up through his lashes to pin Mark with his gaze. Evasion was the best type of distraction. “When are you going to propose to your boyfriends, hyung?”
“Jinyoung already did,” Mark answered, not missing a beat and holding up his and Jackson’s linked hands to show off their new silver bands that Hoseok had completely missed.
“When?” He sputtered, shock clearly evident on his face.
Jinyoung blushed and shrugged. “Last week.”
“And you didn't tell any of us?”
It was Mark’s turn to shrug. “We did. Not our fault you guys don't check twitter.”
Hoseok turned his accusing gaze towards Jackson, but Jackson was too busy playing with Jinyoung’s fingers to really take notice of him.
“Did you seriously announce your engagement on twitter of all things?”
Jackson turned his head to shoot Hoseok with a smile. “Of course. How else do you expect us to tell everyone we know that we’re engaged without individually texting them?”
Hoseok raised his hands in aggravation. “A group text? Wasn't that the point of me giving you Namjoon and Yoongi-hyung’s KakaoTalk IDs, even though it meant my imminent death?”
Jackson blinked. Then very suddenly thwacked himself across his forehead. “I completely forgot that existed.”
Jinyoung gave his fiancé an appalled look. “I told you about it four times!”
Mark interrupted whatever Jackson had been about to say. “You guys, he’s just trying to distract us. Now Hoseok-ah, when are you going to propose?”
“Where is the rule that says I have to be the one to propose?” Hoseok protested, still not believing his ears.
“Right where it says to grow a pair and ask them already!” Mark exclaimed, his voice raising only a tiny smudge.
“How am I supposed to propose to them when we’re not even officially together?”
“What are you talking about? They always refer to you as their boyfriend. Jimin even called you his husband once,” Jackson murmured, his voice low, as if he was talking to a child who was on the verge of having a temper tantrum. “Hobi, have you seriously been living with these guys for what? Six years now and thought you weren’t together?”
Hoseok let his gaze fall towards the table. “It was never discussed nor specifically stated. I wasn’t just going to assume it either.”
Jinyoung groaned and ran a hand over his face. “Hoseok, are you serious? You guys have been dating since you first moved in. That’s six years under your belts. I can’t believe you thought you weren’t together.”
Hoseok started twiddling with his thumbs, not meeting the gaze of any of his friends.
“Well, it’s no wonder you’re here with us on Valentine’s Day instead of at home with your practically married husbands,” Mark muttered.
“Shut up, hyung,” Hoseok let out under his breath, then stood up when he realized what Mark had said and tried to step over Jackson to get out from their booth. “Oh shit, it’s Valentine’s Day. I have got to go.”
Jackson let Hoseok through and watched as the blonde-haired man ran out of the bar they’d been sitting in for the past forty minutes.
Jinyoung cupped his mouth to shout after Hoseok. “Buy something on your way back!”
“Use condoms!” Jackson yelled after him.
“Remember to propose!” Hoseok caught Mark’s screech just as the bar door swung behind him.
“Shit,” Hoseok murmured under his breath and continued to run down the street, not bothering to hail a cab as he caught sight of the corner flower shop.
He stepped back onto the street fifteen minutes later with a large bouquet of pink roses and a box of chocolates tucked under his arm. Hoseok ran again, passing by not one, but two jewelry stores on his way back to the condo he shared with his now proclaimed boyfriends. He’d lived with them for six years, and during that time, hadn’t known that the others thought they were all dating. He had chosen not to assume anything in case his hopes were crushed if Yoongi or Taehyung vehemently denied they were together. But if Hoseok was being honest, then yeah, what Mark, Jinyoung, and Jackson had said was incredibly true and he really had been living with his six boyfriends for the past six years.
Hoseok didn’t have rings on him, but he supposed that he could just propose with flowers and chocolates after all. Unless Taehyung wanted to get all pretentious and demand he be given special treatment because he deserved to be treated like he’s special. And well he was special, but Hoseok would never tell him that. That was Seokjin’s job.
The city blurred by him as he ran. His feet slapped against the concrete underneath him. Sweat poured down from his temple, but that was second in importance when compared to the anxious feeling that was settling into his belly. Hoseok had been living with Seokjin, Yoongi, Namjoon, Jimin, Taehyung, and Jeongguk for six years and not once had he thought they were together. Now he was rushing back to them with flowers and chocolates and his heart in his throat just to propose to them. Honestly, Hoseok knew he was slow and sometimes pretty oblivious, but this should have registered in his mind a long time ago. Except it hadn’t and Hoseok was freaking out.
He continued to run until he saw their condo building and rushed past Kibum, the doorman who Hoseok usually said hello to, but he was in a hurry and the roses were slipping from his grip and the linoleum floor of the lobby was making his shoes squeak, and why were the elevators so far away? Hoseok pushed the elevator button with his butt, then ran up the stairs when the elevator took too long to arrive. His breath burned in his chest and looking up the stairwell made his head spin, but finally he reached their floor and opened the door while pulling a dangerous balancing act with the flowers and chocolate in his arms. He was running down the hall then and before he could even knock, their door was being pulled open for him and Hoseok quite literally tipped backwards and ended up on his ass.
“Ow,” he muttered under his breath.
“What is this?” Jimin’s soft voice came from behind the bouquet of flowers that Hoseok held in front of him.
Hoseok peeked his head out from the side of the flowers and gave Jimin, and the others who stood behind him in the doorway all dressed up as if they were going somewhere, a sheepish smile. “Uh, Happy Valentine’s Day? Marry me?”
At the end of his question, Hoseok brought the chocolates out of their hiding place from behind the bouquet and offered it to Namjoon who was right behind Jimin.
“Did you justー?” Jeongguk began to ask from his place beside Seokjin.
“You idiot,” Yoongi snarled. “I can’t believe you ruined my plans!”
“Your plans?” Taehyung asked. “I thought we all agreed that I was going to propose?”
“No we didn’t,” Jimin interrupted. “We agreed that I was.”
Hoseok swiveled his head from side to side to keep up with the new information.
Seokjin was stepping in between Jimin and Taehyung. “We came to the conclusion that as the eldest, I was going to propose.”
But then Jeongguk was stepping up behind Seokjin, shaking his head fervently. “No. Because I’m the youngest, you all said that I had to propose.”
Namjoon was shaking his head too. “No. You all told me that I could. I even bought rings.”
He brought those said rings out from his pocket and Yoongi tackled him to the floor. “You asshole! You guys said I could propose on Hobi’s birthday!”
“Hey! I was going to propose on Hobi-hyung’s birthday!” Jimin whined, throwing himself atop Yoongi and Namjoon on the floor of their foyer.
“Get off Joon-ah, the both of you,” Seokjin cut in, doing his best to pull Jimin off Yoongi while Taehyung prodded at Yoongi’s sides and tickled the dark-haired elder who kicked out and almost gave Jeongguk a bloody nose.
Hoseok was still in the hallway, sitting on his ass, and peeking out from behind his flowers staring at them. So they had known and never even thought to clarify things with him. And when the hell had they had all these conversations they were talking about?
Jeongguk came back out into the hall and wordlessly helped Hoseok up and back into their home, shutting the door behind them as the others continued to argue.
“I’m going to propose, hyung!” Taehyung practically growled, his hands tugging on Namjoon’s jacket, trying to get his hands on the box of rings that the elder held above his head.
“No! I am. Come on, Joonie-hyung, give me those rings!” Jimin jumped and swatted at the air, a hand on Namjoon’s shoulder to hold him steady and to pull the elder down.
Seokjin pushed them away from Namjoon and crossed his arms over his chest, tapping his foot as he did. “Hand ‘em over, Joon-ah.”
“No way, hyung! I bought these with my own money. So I’m going to propose,” Namjoon protested, taking a step back only to bump into Yoongi who pulled them back down to the floor again.
Jeongguk took Hoseok’s flowers and set them on the little table in the foyer, leaving Hoseok with the box of chocolates before the youngest cleared his throat and drew their attention towards him. “Well, we’re all late. Hyung already proposed.”
He sat down on the floor with a huff, crossing his arms over his chest as he did, a pout on his lips. Taehyung followed suit and stamped his foot in defeat before he sat down. One by one, all of Hoseok’s boyfriends (were they really his boyfriends though?) sat down on the floor of the foyer and pouted at each other. Each of them were disgruntled with the fact that they hadn’t been the one who had proposed. Hoseok was the only one still standing and he didn’t know whether to laugh at the fact that they were behaving like children or scream in irritation because while they’d all known that they’d been dating for the past six years, Hoseok had only just figured it out an hour ago.
“Are you guys fucking serious?” Hoseok’s voice was much more harsher than he had intended, but he was too aggravated to really care.
While Hoseok had been completely oblivious and out of the loop, his boyfriends (again, were they really his boyfriends or was he just assuming them to be?) had all had plenty of conversations about their future together without even bothering to tell Hoseok about them. They’d probably laughed at him behind his back for acting like such a bumbling fool whenever Taehyung would kiss him on the nose in greeting and tell him all about his day, whenever Seokjin would make Hoseok’s favorite dish when he came home upset, whenever Namjoon would read to him from one of his textbooks so a restless Hoseok could sleep, whenever Jeongguk would help him practice on a particular difficult piece of choreography that he needed help with, whenever Jimin would give him a massage because his body ached and Jimin knew the signs well enough to do it without being asked, and whenever Yoongi would come to Hoseok when he was troubled and just lay on the couch with him until one of the others joined them and then they would all eventually just push a few mattresses together to sleep together that night. And yeah, fine, they were definitely his boyfriends and Hoseok was literally an idiot for not noticing that earlier like the others had, but still. They should have at least said something about it! Now Hoseok had just fucking proposed to them and they’d all started arguing because they had wanted to propose first.
“Shut up, Hoseok-ah,” Yoongi grumbled.
“You guys planned to propose and never even told me that we’ve been dating for years.”
All six of them looked at him then. Hoseok wasn’t as angry as he probably should have been, but he was angry enough and the others could tell and Taehyung was scooting away from him to hide behind Namjoon. Hoseok let out a deep breath to calm himself. He knew he was probably more terrifying than Yoongi when he was angry, but that was because it was rare and Hoseok didn’t like being angry. So when he did manage to get mad about something, the others tended to avoid him.
“Hobi-hyung, you’re the one who asked us to date you,” Jimin murmured, his voice low.
“What?” Hoseok asked, his brain probably malfunctioning, because holy fuck, when the fuckety fuck had he done that?
“Remember when we went to Youngjae and Jaebum’s wedding?” Jeongguk asked.
Hoseok tilted his head and thought back to that particular event. It’d been five years since those two had gotten married and Hoseok honestly didn’t remember anything about the wedding except that it’d been expensive, everyone had been in formal wear, Hoseok had gotten drunk off his rocker, and he’d ended the night giving Youngjae a lap dance in the middle of the dance floor until Jimin had peeled him away. He’d woken up to the sounds of Yoongi getting fucked by Taehyung right beside him and had instantly joined them, slowly working his way into Taehyung without even batting an eye until Jimin’s fingers were sliding into him not too soon after.
So Hoseok nodded then waited for a better explanation.
“You were drunk,” Namjoon spoke. “Jimin had just stopped you from dry humping one of the grooms and we rushed back here with you being carried between us.”
Hoseok nodded, remembering the feeling of multiple pairs of hands holding him up as they walked home. The wedding reception hadn’t been that far from their place and Hoseok knew that Yoongi hated wasting money on cabs when they could easily walk. Still, that was really all Hoseok could remember now that he was digging.
“Yeah, I remember that much. Nothing else though,” Hoseok ran a hand over his face.
Seokjin let out something akin to a laugh. “Yeah, well, as soon as we stepped through the door you got on your knees and begged us to make love to you ‘cause you loved us and wanted us to be together forever or some other corny shit.”
Hoseok froze. “I did what?”
“You asked us to date you, you moron. I can’t believe I’ve been dating you for like five fucking years and all this time you just thought we were fuck buddies that lived together or some shit,” Yoongi sputtered.
Hoseok twisted his fingers together. “It was never brought up again and I wasn’t just going to assumeー”
“What? Assume that we love and care about you and each other and are willing to get married? Because if you haven’t noticed, we’re practically married already, Hobi-hyung,” Jimin interjected, his face flushed and turned away from the rest of them.
“And yet you asked us to marry you anyways, just like you beat us to the punch the first time,” Yoongi huffed, letting Jeongguk pull him into his lap and play with his hair.
“So is that a no then?” Hoseok asked, his face warm and his anger long gone.
Taehyung quite literally threw himself at Hoseok, knocking them both to the ground. His breath was hot against Hoseok’s ear. “Of course we’ll marry you, hyung. We’re just mad you asked first. Again.”
Hoseok sighed and let his arms wrap themselves around Taehyung’s waist. Taehyung pressed a kiss to his lips before he pulled back and helped Hoseok sit upright. He scooted over when Namjoon plucked himself down beside them and wordlessly held out the box of rings to Hoseok.
“If you’re going to propose, then it should be with rings, not flowers and chocolate,” Namjoon murmured, notching his head towards the said box of chocolates that had fallen from Hoseok’s grip when Taehyung tackled him.
So Hoseok opened the box, got on one knee, and asked, “I’m an idiot, but will you marry me?”
Yoongi was the first to accept and the rest followed after.
Hoseok still didn’t know where the others had planned to go when he had been returning, but when he asked, Seokjin merely waved his hand and said it hadn’t been important. Hoseok didn’t really push for an answer, he was too busy with a clingy Jimin pressing his lips into Hoseok’s collarbones.
And of course he didn’t push for an answer when Seokjin was balls deep in him later, Jeongguk perched on his cock and Jimin pushing his own dick into Hoseok’s mouth while Taehyung lay beside Hoseok in a similar position with Yoongi atop him and Namjoon sliding into him. He let out a choked moan when Seokjin rocked his hips and Hoseok was pushed further into his youngest fiancé, because that’s what they were: fiancés.
In the morning, Hoseok woke up to Jimin coming into Taehyung, Namjoon bouncing on Yoongi’s dick, Seokjin rimming Jeongguk, and a text from Jackson asking how everything had went. Hoseok answered approximately fifty four minutes later with a picture of his back that was littered with hickies and a thumbs up emoji. Jackson didn’t bother to reply.

trippin’, stumblin’

Tumblr media
Namjoon is in the shower when he hears the first yell.
It's random and surprising and he jumps at the sound, almost knocking his head into the showerhead above him. Really, Namjoon shouldn't be left alone in a wet confined space, but it's just his luck that he woke up late today of all days.
Now Namjoon can make out Hoseok's voice, probably scolding Jeongguk for yelling. Namjoon almost jumps again when the bathroom door opens and Jimin's head pops through.
"Hey, you alright?" The younger man's voice is husky and low, ringing out throughout the entire bathroom.
Namjoon nods, not the least bit self-conscious as Jimin continues to peer at him through the clear bathroom curtain. They've been together so long that some things that used to make Namjoon overly anxious, don't bother him anymore. Plus, Taehyung has a habit of stripping in the middle of their living room and start jacking off with no obvious reason other than to start an orgy.
Jimin smiles then. "Cool. Hyung said breakfast will be done in ten and he wants you out of the bathroom in five so he can clean up while we eat."
"Okay. Thanks, Jiminnie," Namjoon replies, continuing with scrubbing at his neck as he does.
Jimin's tinkling laugh echoes in the bathroom long after he's left and Namjoon smiles at the sound. He finishes washing up in record time and steps out of the shower, running a towel through his fluffy blonde hair. Wiping a hand across the mirror full of steam reveals a dripping naked Namjoon, with soft skin and rounded angles. Namjoon brushes his teeth, gargles his mouthwash and flosses all within the span of two minutes before he decides to forego shaving for today and gels his wet hair back quickly.
Namjoon has just finished putting on his clothes when Seokjin barges into the bathroom and shoos him out with a mop. He makes his way to the kitchen where Jimin sits on Hoseok's lap just to leave Namjoon stuck in between Taehyung and Jeongguk near the end of the table.
They really do need a bigger one, Namjoon thinks to himself as Taehyung elbows him for the nth time. Yoongi waltz into the dining room and seats himself on top of Namjoon, nudging the younger here and there in his attempt to get comfortable. Namjoon sighs as Yoongi looks up at him expectantly with his small mouth open, wordlessly asking Namjoon to feed him.
Jimin coos at them from Hoseok's lap, laughing as Namjoon accidentally gets syrup on the corner of Yoongi's mouth. It's only just beginning to dribble down his chin when Namjoon surges forward and kisses Yoongi in an attempt to clean it. Yoongi scowls at him, muttering something Namjoon can't make out and pouting once he's done. Namjoon laughs the tiniest bit and feeds the elder some more of his pancakes as Taehyung and Jeongguk bicker over which season of Attack on Titan was better.
All in all, it's a typical morning. Namjoon offhandedly thinks about getting a bigger table as he feeds Yoongi and himself, watching as Hoseok whines for Jimin to share food with him and laughing when Taehyung gets food on his clothes from being distracted by whatever conversation he and Jeongguk are having all while Seokjin cleans the house before he leaves for work. It's normal. Too normal, Namjoon thinks.
"Gukk, just 'cause you're one year older doesn't mean you can keep disrespecting us like this," Taehyung says, his voice finally dropping the last puzzle piece into place for Namjoon.
It's his birthday.
It's Namjoon's birthday and no one seems to remember, not even himself.
Namjoon watches the others closer now, picking up any little movements they make. Nothing is out of the ordinary though and Namjoon doesn't really know how he should feel about that really. He's not one for birthdays much and he doesn't usually care about celebrating his own most of the time, but after Jeongguk's gigantic party, Namjoon feels a bit cheated.
They'd spent months planning Jeongguk's birthday party, all the while keeping it a secret from the youngest. They'd rented out a hall and filled it with tables, chairs, food, booze, decorations, one of Yoongi's DJ friends and a bouncy house set up outside, along with all of Jeongguk's friends and family. His cake had been two-tiered with vanilla on the bottom and marble cake on top. For lack of a better word, Jeongguk's birthday party a week ago had been grand.
But Namjoon, Namjoon doesn't feel like his birthday will go well. Especially if his boyfriends completely ignore it.
But Namjoon keeps quiet and continues to eat, his legs going numb from having Yoongi in his lap for so long. He has a late morning class to get to and needs to leave their house with Jeongguk and Hoseok.
Jimin stands suddenly, eyeing Namjoon closely as he does and Namjoon stares back, confused. Hoseok stands after him, brushing off his pants and smiling at Jeongguk before making his way towards the front door to gather his school things. Yoongi kisses Namjoon on the cheek and stands, dropping himself into Taehyung's lap, tugging on the younger's shirt to get his attention. Jeongguk stands then, pressing a kiss to Taehyung's forehead and kissing Yoongi full on the mouth before hugging Jimin goodbye.
Namjoon is still a bit in awe of the fact that though they're all together, Jeongguk and Jimin are not. He's asked the two many questions about this before when they first introduced Jeongguk into the equation, but they've remained firm about their views on one another. Jimin can only see Jeongguk as a friend, and Jeongguk vice-versa. It's interesting, to say the least, on Namjoon's end anyway, that they all live together, eat together, sleep together but Jimin and Jeongguk have never developed romantic or sexual feelings for one another.
It's only when the front door slams shut does Namjoon feel himself being wrenched out of his thoughts, blinking at the table in front of him. He stands groggily, slowly making his way towards the foyer to grab his backpack and put on his shoes. Namjoon has only just finished putting his coat on when he hears Hoseok's car back out of the driveway and into the street. Namjoon runs out the door, almost falling on his face when he misses the last porch step and jogs after Hoseok's car that is now making its way down the street.
Namjoon yells after them, waving his arms and running as fast as his legs will carry him. He almost collides into the back of Hoseok's car when it stops suddenly. Hoseok quickly exits, grabbing Namjoon's arms to steady him.
"Joon, I'm so sorry! I forgot you weren't in the car yet," Hoseok spits out like rapid fire, a never-ending string of apologies spilling from his mouth as he helps Namjoon into the back of the car and decides on kissing him to shut the older man up.
Jeongguk turns in the passenger seat and offers Namjoon an apologetic grin. "I'm sorry, hyung. I was playing on my phone, I didn't even notice you weren't in the car yet."
Namjoon smiles back. "It's fine."
Because it is. Namjoon is honestly used to being forgotten about. This is nothing.
Tumblr media
When Namjoon comes home, Seokjin is in the kitchen making all of Jeongguk's favorites.
Namjoon blanches because he hates each and every one of them. Jeongguk has exquisite tastes that only Seokjin puts up with most of the time and that really surprises no one considering that Seokjin is a professional cook. Seokjin laughs as Namjoon passes by, the younger man's expression dark and nose scrunched up at the smell. Namjoon lets the eldest kiss him hello before he retreats to the bathroom, pausing when he hears Jeongguk's whines and Yoongi's moans filtering past the bathroom door.
In a house where seven people reside, there are a lot of things that they should've thought through before committing. A bigger table for one. Sharing one bathroom for another. And maybe forgetting Namjoon's birthday as another as well.
Namjoon sighs and drudges to one of the spare rooms, throwing his backpack on the floor and kicking his pants off in the messiest, clumsiest way he can manage. Namjoon is too tired to do anything right now and passes out lying sideways across the bed, his pants stuck at his knees and one sock lost in the void that is his pants leg.
Jimin finds him like that later, a cupcake with one single candle stuck in the middle in hand.
Namjoon is still snoring away by then, tired and restless and Jimin sighs as the bedside clock changes its numbers by one minute.
It is now 12:01 AM on September 12th and Namjoon is fast asleep as his boyfriend tried in vain to wish him a happy birthday first.
Jimin is pushed to the side when Yoongi enters and throws himself into bed beside Namjoon, curling up into his side and twitching his nose in irritation at the sound of Namjoon's snores. Jimin watches as Hoseok walks into the room next, tsking as he spies Namjoon's pants and proceeds to fully remove them, pulling Namjoon up on the bed so that his head now lies on a pillow with Yoongi scrambling to readjust his position afterward. Taehyung bounces in, taking the cupcake from Jimin and eating it before he lies down beside Yoongi, his leg hitched up over Yoongi's hips. Hoseok settles himself on Namjoon's other side, fingers running through Namjoon's hair as he begins to stir. Jimin isn't surprised when Seokjin wanders in and lays himself beside Hoseok, yawning as he nuzzles into the warmth of the others and immediately falls asleep.
Jeongguk walks in timidly, his head hung low while he ambles up to the bed and clambers atop Namjoon, burrowing his nose into the dip of Namjoon's throat. Jimin watches as they all settle in, quickly falling asleep even though this isn't their bed Yoongi made to fit all seven of them. He smiles as Namjoon whimpers in his sleep and Jeongguk immediately begins pressing kisses to his throat as Hoseok continues to run his fingers through Namjoon's hair, quietly comforting him.
He doesn't know what makes him do it, but Jimin is kicking off his pants before he can really think about it and lays himself across the tops of their pillows. He turns on his side and presses a palm to Namjoon's face, watching as the older man sighs into his touch and relaxes in his sleep, his whimpers dying altogether.
They sleep like that for that night, nothing but them squished together in one too small bed as they hold their boyfriend dear to them. In the morning when Namjoon wakes up, he bursts into tears as they sing him a happy birthday, checking his phone to make sure the date is correct and apologizes to them for thinking the worst when he thought they'd all forgotten.
All is forgiven with cake, kisses and a few blowjobs though.

blow the candle, make a wish
Tumblr media
pairing: ot7 (hoseok x everyone)  genre: fluff, non au, rated g  warnings: none  words: 1600
summary: Hoseok really, really loves his members. He may as well ask them out.
Tumblr media
When the clock struck midnight, Hoseok was still practicing in the company’s new dance room. The only tell-tale sign he got about it turning midnight was his phone beginning to chime with an influx of messages.
And then the dance studio’s door opened and in piled his members with a lit cake and recording phones in hand.
“Happy birthday to you…” Hoseok laughed as the unmistakable words met his ears.
He smiled as his six favorite people in the world crowded in around him so that by the time they were done singing to him (Namjoon and Yoongi considerably and notably off-key), Seokjin had the birthday cake under Hoseok’s nose so the sweaty dancer could make a wish and blow out the candle. He did, but Hoseok waited until all the cameras had stopped recording before he kissed Seokjin.
Hoseok wasn’t dating Seokjin. He wouldn’t mind dating Seokjin either (or any of his members really), but him kissing people was normal. Hoseok always did it when he was happy or overly excited and the person he wanted to kiss had given him permission to do so (Seokjin had given him permission plenty of times, and so had the others, but he always asked first before he dived into them) and Hoseok was both happy and overly excited and Seokjin had given him permission so Hoseok kissed him. He was still pretty sweaty from practicing their choreography for the past few hours or so, but the elder didn’t seem to mind as he kissed Hoseok in return. Seokjin only laughed and pulled away from Hoseok with his ears turning red when their kiss ended.
“I wasn’t even the one who bought the cake, Seok-ah. It was Jeonggukkie,” Seokjin said with a pleased, fond smile on his face as he notched his head in Jeongguk’s direction.
Jeongguk immediately ducked behind Yoongi, but Hoseok had simply barreled right past the older, paler man and quite literally attacked Jeongguk’s face with kisses, waiting for the youngest to nod his head and grant Hoseok permission to kiss his lips. Yoongi cleared his throat behind them and Hoseok pulled back from Jeongguk to stare at Yoongi and, by extension, Jimin who stood behind him with their phones in hand.
“Where’s my kiss? I thought I was your special one, SeokSeok,” Yoongi pouted, a twitch in his eyebrow the only thing telling Hoseok that Yoongi was just messing with him.
“Well, he lied. I’m Hobi-hyung’s favorite and everyone knows it.” Jimin pushed in between Yoongi and Hoseok to shove his phone into Hoseok’s face. “Look. There’s billboards and posters and buses plastered with your face all over Seoul, hyung.”
Hoseok took Jimin’s phone and scrolled through the photos, smiling at each one until Yoongi’s phone was being shoved into his face as well.
“Your face is all over Gwangju too, SeokSeok-ah. I bet your parents are proud,” Yoongi murmured, his ears a bright red.
Hoseok only took one glance at Yoongi’s phone, then looked at both Jimin and Yoongi. They gave him the tiniest of nods and Hoseok surged forward to push them both closer to his chest to share one very sloppy kiss. Jimin and Yoongi didn’t usually get along, but they made an effort for Hoseok, especially when their three-way kisses started reoccurring often. Hoseok gave them plenty of kisses alone, but they liked these three-way smooches more, especially Yoongi.
Taehyung pulled Hoseok back to wordlessly show him their twitter feed. It was filled with many ugly photos of Hoseok that Taehyung had accumulated over the years. There were tons and Hoseok knew that Taehyung had even more on his camera roll and computer, but he couldn’t help the smile that spread across his lips.
“You can kiss me, hyung,” Taehyung grinned at him, his rectangular smile incredibly wide.
Hoseok’s grin somehow grew and he pressed his lips to Taehyung’s softly. Taehyung even gave him some tongue before Namjoon was tapping on Hoseok’s shoulder with an awkward, faked cough. Hoseok had to pull Taehyung’s fingers out of his hair before he could pull far enough away to stare at their leader.
“Look at what the fans are posting. It’s only been a few minutes and my dashboard is filled with your face.” Namjoon was also holding his phone out to him, scrolling through the tumblr app, a smile that showed off his dimples spread across his face.
All the members knew that Namjoon had a secret tumblr account where he would occasionally post philosophical quotes, reblog photos of space, and post some pretty racy photos that were borderline nudes. Hoseok wouldn’t lie if the others asked him if he kept tabs on Namjoon’s blog, because he did and it was amazing. Still, all Hoseok saw was his face on his members’ phones and there was a fluttering feeling in his stomach that was making him giddy.
Namjoon’s face was bright red when he muttered under his breath, “You can kiss me too, if you want.”
So Hoseok did and he made sure to cradle Namjoon’s face in his hands because Namjoon liked the feeling of being held when he kissed someone. The others watched them, something soft in the glow of their eyes and the back of Hoseok’s neck suddenly felt very warm. But when Hoseok pulled back from his kiss with Namjoon, he only saw that Yoongi and Jimin were kissing, Jeongguk was trying to stop Taehyung from posting another ugly photo of Hoseok on their twitter, and Seokjin had set the cake down and was crouched beside a pot that smelled suspiciously like seaweed soup. Hoseok gave Namjoon another smile and kissed into the curve of his dimples before he sat himself down beside Seokjin.
“Hyung,” Hoseok whispered.
“Hmm?” Seokjin hummed as he brought out a disposable bowl and poured out a generous amount of the seaweed soup into it.
He handed the bowl to Hoseok and gave him a spoon soon after. Hoseok gave Seokjin a small grin and set the bowl down.
“Will you be my boyfriend?”
Seokjin looked up startled, his eyes wide, and before he could say anything, Yoongi had stomped his way over to him with a pouting Jimin one step behind him. Taehyung, Jeongguk, and Namjoon flanked them.
“Nuh uh. No way,” Yoongi growled. “Did you seriously just ask hyung to be your boyfriend? What about the rest of us?”
“You’re so mean, Hobi-hyung. I thought you loved all of us,” Jimin murmured, his cheeks turning pink.
Hoseok only laughed, his arms reaching out for them and making grabby hands towards them all. “Of course I love all of you. So why don’t you all just be my boyfriends?”
He looked towards Namjoon first, as the leader, Hoseok valued Namjoon’s answer the most because this could easily make or break them. If Namjoon didn’t think it a good idea for them all to date, then no one else would accept Hoseok’s offer (Yoongi and Jimin would, but Hoseok wanted them all to accept). But Namjoon was all smiles, dimples, and crinkled eyes as he nodded at Hoseok, taking a few steps until he was kneeling beside Hoseok and gave him a kiss on the nose.
“I was wondering if I would have to ask it myself, but I’m kind of relieved you did instead,” Namjoon murmured, a ridiculously large grin on his face. “I would love to be your boyfriend. Happy birthday.”
Taehyung was next, he pushed his lips to Hoseok’s forcefully and nodded his head. “Happy birthday, hyung.”
Jimin pushed Taehyung off and nestled himself into Hoseok’s lap. “Yes, of course I will be your husband, hyung.”
Hoseok laughed and kissed Jimin’s forehead then looked up when Yoongi sat himself atop Jimin and gave Hoseok a chaste kiss.
“I guess I’ll be your husband too,” Yoongi huffed, his dark hair tickling Hoseok’s chin.
Jimin pouted at Yoongi. “He’s my husband, hyung. You can’t be married to him without being married to me too.”
Yoongi rolled his eyes and stood up, pulling Jimin up with him as he did. “I guess you’re both my husbands then.”
Hoseok watched them kiss and laughed, but drew his attention to the youngest who was toeing the floor timidly.
Jeongguk threw himself at Hoseok unexpectedly, and let his lips graze against Hoseok’s jaw. “Happy birthday, hyungie. I don’t know about being your husband, but I can be your boyfriend, yeah.”
Hoseok kissed Jeongguk and watched the younger stand up and move to Taehyung who was helping Seokjin pour the seaweed soup out to everyone. Hoseok scooted closer to Seokjin and took the soup ladle into his hand to make the eldest stare at him.
“You never gave me an answer, hyung,” Hoseok said with a grin. “Will you be my boyfriend?”
Seokjin blinked and Hoseok watched as his entire face began to flush a pretty dusky pink. “Well, I can’t tell you no if everyone else already said yes. So, yeah, I’ll be your boyfriend, Seok-ah.”
Hoseok didn’t get the chance to kiss Seokjin because Jeongguk beat him to it, but it was fine. Hoseok could always kiss Seokjin later.
Or he could kiss him after they finished the soup and cake and take out chicken that Namjoon had ordered. He could also kiss Seokjin when they pulled the air mattresses out and pushed them together in the center of the dance room to lay down on and huddle up on. So he did and Seokjin kissed him back as they lay in the middle of a mess of limbs and body heat shared between their seven bodies.
“Happy birthday, Seok-ah.”

break up and a birthday
Tumblr media
pairings: ot7 (jimin x everyone), platonic jikook  genre: fluff, birthday au, rated t  warnings: a break up, trans male character, nonbinary character   words: 930
summary: They love him differently, each in their own little way, and that's why Jimin loves them in return.
Tumblr media
"I think we both know that this," Jimin points between them. "Us. Isn't going to work out."
Jeongguk nods, fingers toying with the ends of his skirt. "Yeah. It feels weird."
Jimin nods as well, clapping his hands. "Exactly! I'm so glad this was mutual. I thought you might cry."
"Nah. I'm not too sad, to be honest. I still have five other dicks to hop on and I never really hopped on yours, to begin with, so I'm alright," Jeongguk laughs, clapping Jimin on the shoulder as they continue to walk.
"Shut up. You know that as soon as clothes start coming off, you become mush in their hands. It's your ultimate weakness."
Jeongguk blushes but doesn't deny it and they walk the rest of the way in silence, exchanging fond smiles from time to time.
When they can finally see the house, Jeongguk rushes ahead and disappears into the dark foyer, his skirt fanning out around him and making Jimin want to pull on it just to get a rise out of him. Jimin shakes his head and follows after him, fumbling for the hallway switch once he's gotten past the door and shuts it behind him.
The lights flicker on when Jimin is met with a loud "Surprise!" and a chorus of Happy Birthday from his wonderful lovers and Jeongguk.
Hoseok approaches him first, a kiss being pressed to Jimin's temple with a large smile spread across his face. "Happy birthday, Minnie."
Jimin kisses him long and slow, leaning into Hoseok when the elder places his hand on the small of Jimin's back. Before Jimin can ask Hoseok for another kiss, Namjoon is stumbling forward, a drawing he made in hand as he gives it to Jimin shyly. Jimin laughs, delighted with the art and goes on tiptoe to kiss Namjoon in thanks.
Seokjin pulls Jimin into his side by the waist, easily guiding him towards the center of the room where a pot of seaweed soup is set out on their coffee table. Jimin smiles when he realizes that the elder is already leaning down for his kiss, lips pulled into a cute pout.
"Thanks for the soup, hyung," Jimin mumbles against his lips, a hand trailing its way up Seokjin's shirt.
"Anything for you, Jiminnie," Seokjin shoots back at him, arm wrapped tight around Jimin's waist.
"Yeah, yeah. Okay, now move over so I can give him the gift Hoseok and I picked out," Yoongi grumbles, butting his way in between the two with a gift-wrapped box in hand.
Seokjin rolls his eyes but allows Yoongi to take his place as the others crowd around the table, waiting patiently for the food to start flowing out. Jimin pecks Yoongi's cheek and opens the box, finding a new sweater in it.
It's only when he takes it out of the box that he realizes it's Gucci.
"You know, I think you might've given me Tae's present instead, hyung," Jimin mumbles, an amused smile on his face.
Yoongi glances at the sweater and frowns. "Jung Hoseok!"
Jimin laughs as the elder takes the sweater and storms towards Hoseok, shoving it into his face and arguing without any sort of preamble at all. Jimin barely manages to get a grip on his laughter when Taehyung steps forward and pushes a keychain into Jimin's hand.
"I have a matching one," Taehyung says, holding up their set of keys to validate their statement.
"Thank you, TaeTae," Jimin replies with a smile, quickly giving Taehyung a peck on the lips before stringing the keychain onto his ring of keys.
Taehyung sits back down at the table with a smile, pushing Jeongguk up towards Jimin before accepting the bowl that Seokjin places in front of them. Jimin waits patiently for Jeongguk to approach him, a beanie in his hands that he offers to the elder shyly.
"Happy birthday, hyung," Jeongguk smiles.
Jimin's smile grows as he takes the beanie and gives Jeongguk a hug, patting his back fondly before turning to face the others who are watching them.
"Oh, we broke up, by the way," Jimin says nonchalantly. "Us being romantically and sexually together is just weird."
Namjoon nods from where he sits at the head of the coffee table, as if he expected this and says nothing else on the matter. Yoongi opens his arms for Jeongguk and Jeongguk goes willingly, his skirt pooling over Yoongi's lap while the side of his breasts presses into Yoongi's chest. Seokjin hands Jimin a bowl of soup, patting the seat beside him for Jimin to take.
Hoseok turns to face him once Jimin has sat down, already digging into the soup and graciously endures the cheek grabbing that ensues without any sort of complaint.
But Taehyung only pouts at the news of Jimin and Jeongguk breaking up.
"Guess this puts a damper on orgies then," they say to the table a loud.
Jeongguk sits up in Yoongi's lap, a tiny smile on his face. "Nah. Hyung and I have never had sex with each other anyway. We've kissed like three times and it's never been on the mouth."
Jimin nods, his mouth full of seaweed soup, while Taehyung gazes between them before sighing and digging into their own food.
"So cute," Hoseok coos beside him, his hand on the small of Jimin's back once more. "You're so cute when you eat, Minnie."
Jimin huffs, pouting at Hoseok. "I'm not cute when I have my dick in you, hyung."
But Hoseok only laughs again, hands in Jimin's hair. "You're cute even then. Happy birthday, Jimin."

Tumblr media
"Yoongi-yah."
Seokjin's voice startled him. Yoongi looked up to see his boyfriend peering down at him from where he stood hovering over him. Seokjin had a glint in his eye that meant nothing good for Yoongi.
Yoongi’s second to last game had just finished. Fortunately, all of his lovers had managed to make it and watch as his team won the game. Yoongi was now on the bleachers with them, having gotten out of the locker room a few minutes before. His calves ached and he still felt sweaty all over, but the proud smiles that adorned his lovers’ faces made up for that. His team was off to the championships nowーwhich he would belatedly realize fell on his birthday, but that was a problem for later.
His current problem was the tiny smirk that was spread across Seokjin’s lips and the twitch of his eyebrow that told Yoongi he was about to be massively made fun of.
“Yes, hyung?” He asked anyways.
“Is it your life’s ambition to become a chicken?” Seokjin shot back, his nose scrunching up as the smirk on his face grew.
“Uh, no?”
“Then why are you flapping around the court like one?” Seokjin’s high and squeaky laugh met Yoongi’s ears.
Yoongi frowned and opened his mouth to say something, but then Jimin was pushing past Seokjin and grinning gleefully as he threw an arm around Yoongi’s shoulders.
“Hyung, you put a whole new meaning to ‘I believe I can fly.’”
“Fuck off,” Yoongi grumbled, pushing Jimin towards Seokjin as he scooted in the other direction on the bench.
“Bawk! Bawk!” Seokjin and Jimin leaned down from the waist and stretched their necks out to resemble chickens picking the ground.
“Assholes,” Yoongi muttered under his breath.
Jeongguk plunked himself beside Yoongi, his skirt pooling around him on the bench and tickling Yoongi’s leg as Jeongguk took his hand. Taehyung laid their head in Yoongi’s lap and launched themself into a speech about puppies. Namjoon dug through their cooler until he found Yoongi’s favorite drink and handed it to him. Yoongi didn’t have to look to know that it was Hoseok who was threading his fingers through Yoongi’s still slightly damp hair.
Jimin and Seokjin continued to imitate chickens. Yoongi ignored them and instead listened to all the details Taehyung was spouting about the breed of the dog they were treating at the moment.
Despite the squawking, Yoongi couldn’t help how huge his smile felt on his face when Jeongguk leaned in to kiss him on the jaw, his breasts pressed against Yoongi’s arm and his pink lipstick marking the place where Jeongguk’s lips touched his skin.
Consequently, a kissing contest began between the others.
Tumblr media
Yoongi’s palms were sweaty. His headband felt too tight on his head and his knees shook to the point where he thought that if he stood up and tried to walk, his legs would give out.
It was the night of the championships. Yoongi’s team had won the last two games earlier that day and now they were close to facing the final match. The outcome of this last game would determine who went home with this year’s trophy.
It was also Yoongi’s birthday.
His lovers were nowhere in sight. He hadn’t seen them since Hoseok had woken him up that morning at eight AM with a kiss, breakfast, a packed lunch, and money for dinner.
Of course, his youngest three partners had pilfered food off his plate while he ate breakfast, but he didn't really mind. Hoseok served them all and Seokjin made an extra batch of pancakes. No one mentioned his birthday.
By nine, Yoongi was being pushed and prodded out the door without even a promise of celebrating his birthday when he got back home.
So now, he was in the locker room, having just finished their second to last game and about to face the onslaught of the last match, yet all he could think about was whether his lovers of three years had forgotten his birthday.
The final game didn't start for another forty minutes, but Yoongi was nervous and he was probably going to vomit too. Still, there was an ache in his chest that throbbed whenever he thought about the others back home who were probably getting drunk off their asses without him.
Yoongi sighed and stood up. He needed air. He needed to get out of the locker room.
He waved a hand at his captain and pointed at the door. Junhoo nodded and went back to talking strategy with the others. Yoongi quickly made his way out of the locker room and stood on tiptoe to see over the heads of strangers in order to find the door that led outside.
He found it and was soon standing out in the parking lot. The van his team had come in was parked near the entryway and he vaguely wondered if the van was unlocked or not. If it was, then he’d have no place to lie down for a few moments in peace. If it wasn't, then he really needed to have a word with Junhoo about common security.
Yoongi walked onto the blacktop and made his way towards the team’s van (technically it was Junhoo’s dad’s van, but he let them borrow it for away games). He stopped in his tracks when he saw the van that was parked beside it.
It looked similar to Seokjin’s van. It even had the same scratch on the backside, right above the left tire. The van couldn't be Seokjin’s though. Seokjin was at a play rehearsal and the only other person who could drive the van was Hoseok and he had dance practice to attend with Jimin and Jeongguk. Namjoon wasn't allowed to drive, for the safety of others and himself, and Seokjin didn't trust the three youngest with his van (the scratch above the tire had been thanks to Taehyung and Jimin fighting over the wheel while Jeongguk had egged them on).
So, no. That wasn't Seokjin’s van and Yoongi was being delusional.
He continued to walk towards the team’s van and checked the doors. It was locked.
Well, at least Junhoo didn't need a stern talking to about remembering to lock up vehicles. Still, this also meant Yoongi didn't have a place to lay down now.
He sighed and kept walking, right past the black van that reminded him of his partners with each step he took. He’d only just passed by the back of it when the backdoor on the right side opened and out fell Namjoon.
What the fuck? Yoongi thought.
Namjoon stood up and brushed the dust off his shirt. He looked up and gave Yoongi a broad grin.
“Hey, babe. We thought you’d never come outside. It’s stifling in there,” Namjoon said, his voice gruff and low and making Yoongi’s chest ache again.
“We?” Yoongi asked.
The windows rolled down and Hoseok stuck his head out from the passenger’s seat. “Hey, Yoonie-hyung.”
Yoongi frowned. Hoseok knew he didn’t like nicknames, but the dancer always insisted that they were cute so he was going to use them anyway.
Jimin’s head popped out beside Hoseok’s. “Hey, Bird.”
Yoongi’s frown deepened. Ever since he and Seokjin had made fun of how Yoongi ran on the court, they’d taken to calling him an array of names that somehow correlated with chickens.
Namjoon took him by the hand and guided Yoongi towards the car, practically shoving him through the door that Namjoon had spilled out from.
“Surprise!”
Yoongi jumped, nearly bumping his head on the car’s ceiling (did cars even have ceilings?) and almost had a heart attack when he saw who was in the backseat.
Taehyung and Jeongguk sat with a lit cake in their laps, huge smiles spread across their faces as they lifted said cake and held it out to Yoongi. Seokjin sat beside them, a present box in his lap and his shoulders bumping into Taehyung’s. Yoongi wasn’t really sure how Seokjin fit in the backseat with the youngest two, but he was there, shoulders and all. Hoseok and Jimin sat in the passenger’s seat, Jimin splayed out across Hoseok’s lap and Hoseok gripping his waist. Namjoon stepped into the car beside him and shuffled Yoongi aside until he could close the van’s door behind him.
“Hoseok-ah, I swear if you try and close the windows again, I’m going to flail you alive,” Seokjin exclaimed suddenly, his eyes trained on Hoseok’s creeping hand that was inching towards the window controls.
Jimin smacked his hand away and Yoongi felt the ache in his chest throb again when Jeongguk leaned forward and pressed his frosting-covered forefinger to Yoongi’s nose.
They were there with him. They hadn’t forgotten. Yoongi was so, so dumb and so, so happy.
Evidently, when they sang Happy Birthday to him, he didn’t cry (yes he did). Namjoon wrapped an arm around his waist as he blew out the stupid, little candles that Taehyung had probably put on the cake since they were spread out all over it’s surface. When Seokjin handed Yoongi his piece of cake, accompanied by a kiss on the cheek and a lick to his nose to clean off the frosting there, Yoongi didn’t have to taste it to know that Seokjin and Hoseok had baked the cake themselves. Nor did he have to question who’d frosted it either when he saw the tiny chicken and small doodle of what he assumed was supposed to be himself because it was clear it had been done by Jimin and Jeongguk.
He continued to cry, his tears mixing in with the cake and Hoseok pressed a kiss to his head when he finished eating. Jimin rubbed his thumb into Yoongi’s wrist and Namjoon still had his arm around the elder’s waist. Seokjin had an arm thrown over Taehyung’s shoulders and Jeongguk sat with the remainder of the cake, stuffing it into his face like he hadn’t eaten in ages, getting crumbs all over the pale blue dress he’d decided to wear that day.
The ache in Yoongi’s chest stopped throbbing.
Tumblr media
Yoongi went home with his lovers after the final game, first place trophy in hand.
Jimin and Seokjin grumbled over how Yoongi still looked like a chicken when he ran after the basketball.
Hoseok told them to shut up and let Yoongi enjoy his victory and his birthday.
When they got home, Seokjin and Jimin attached themselves to Yoongi and made quick work of his clothing. They led him to the bedroom and lied him down on the duvet. Jimin sucked hickies into Yoongi’s skin as Seokjin scissored him open.
The others cleaned up the van and the kitchen while Yoongi’s whines and moans could be heard throughout their home. Hoseok was the first to slip into the bedroom and stand propped against the wall as he watched Jimin and Seokjin get down to business with Yoongi. Namjoon followed after, an evident boner in his pants and his hands attaching themselves to Hoseok’s hips. Taehyung and Jeongguk came into the bedroom last, lying themselves on the floor so Jeongguk could straddle Taehyung’s waist, the skirt of his dress flowing against their hips, and kiss Taehyung breathless.
Yoongi was too busy arching and groaning under Seokjin and Jimin’s touch to really notice much else. Seokjin had four fingers in him, his erection straining against the material of his jeans. The only naked ones were Jimin and Yoongi, and Jimin was still suckling tiny red and purple flowers into Yoongi’s soft, soft skin. Yoongi whined when Seokjin’s fingers brushed against his prostate and the elder promptly withdrew his digits from Yoongi.
Another whine escaped Yoongi’s lips, but it turned into a groan when Jimin settled in between his thighs and pushed his cock into him. Jimin bottomed out, his teeth clamped down on his bottom lip as he pulled his hips back then pushed into Yoongi again. Yoongi keened, his fingers twisting into the sheets beneath him.
Then Seokjin’s fingers were in him again, sliding against Jimin’s cock inside Yoongi. Yoongi opened his eyes to search for the elder’s gaze. Seokjin’s bare cock pressed against Yoongi’s leg and he half-wondered how the elder had stripped himself of his clothes so fast.
Seokjin met his gaze, his fingers covered in lube and rubbing against both Jimin and Yoongi with a smirk on his face. “Ah, Yoongi-yah, are you up to taking both Minnie and I?”
Yoongi bit his lip, bucked his hips when Jimin slammed into him more forcefully than before, and nodded with another whine caught in his throat. Seokjin kissed his forehead and made Jimin reposition them both so the younger now lay on his back with Yoongi straddling his waist, Jimin’s cock still swallowed up within Yoongi. Seokjin’s fingers were back in Yoongi again and Jimin rocked his hips up into him slowly.
Over his own moans, Yoongi could hear Taehyung and Namjoon groaning, some suckling noises, and the distinct sound of someone’s cock popping out of someone else’s mouth. Yoongi couldn’t see who was doing what though, his eyes were on Jimin beneath him, the younger’s black hair flowing around him on the pillows like a halo. Seokjin accomplished in slipping three fingers past Yoongi's rim and though there was so much going on, Yoongi managed to lean down and kiss Jimin softly on the lips.
Seokjin wiggled in a fourth finger as Jimin picked up his pace. Yoongi felt the elder’s arm wrap around his waist, the palm of his hand flat against Yoongi’s abdomen as he held him. Jimin continued to cant his hips forward as Seokjin’s fingers scissored Yoongi, consistently striking his prostate and making his limbs feel numb.
“Yoongi-yah, you ready?” Seokjin’s fingers had stilled, but Jimin was still moving, his hands on Yoongi’s waist.
“Yes,” Yoongi whispered, his voice hoarse and his toes tingling with each movement either of the two men made.
Seokjin kissed his shoulder blade and Jimin stilled underneath Yoongi. Yoongi let his head roll back onto the elder’s shoulder and waited for Seokjin to push up into him.
He didn’t have to wait long.
Yoongi gasped, his fingers twitching as they searched for purchase against Jimin’s chest. Seokjin took one of Yoongi’s hands, his other arm still holding him by the waist, and Jimin took Yoongi’s free hand, whispering small encouragements in the air between them.
Yoongi felt full. Jimin’s cock was thick, they all knew that. Seokjin was both thick and long. They’d done double penetration before, but Yoongi had never tried it with both Seokjin and Jimin.
Hoseok had. He said it hurt to sit down for a few days afterward, but the pain had been worth it and he would totally do it again.
Yoongi understood what Hoseok had meant. Totally worth it.
“Fuck, you’re so tight, hyung,” Jimin grunted underneath him, his hips rocking into Yoongi slowly, still trying to establish a rhythm with Seokjin.
“T-Thank you,” Yoongi all but moaned.
Jimin’s grip on him tightened. “That wasn’t meant to be a compliment.”
“Jimin-ah, shut up and fucking move already,” Seokjin growled behind Yoongi, his tongue caught between his teeth. “But you’re right. Yoongi-yah is tight.”
Yoongi felt his face flush and decided to ignore anything else the two men said unless they talked to him directly. Still, he couldn’t help but snicker when Jimin complained that it was all Seokjin’s fault. His cock took up so much room. He was right after all, Yoongi knew how right he was.
The two continued to move, falling into a steady rhythm and moaning when the heads of their cocks caught against each other inside Yoongi. Yoongi held on for dear life, only opening his eyes when he felt another set of hands on him.
It was Hoseok, a sly grin on his face and naked. Yoongi blinked and whined when Seokjin thrust up into him harshly. Hoseok pressed his lips to Yoongi’s, licking into the elder’s mouth and sucking on his tongue. By the end of this, Yoongi was sure he’d need to sleep for at least an entire year.
“That is hot.” Namjoon’s voice came from Yoongi’s other side and Yoongi turned his head to face him.
Hoseok started to kiss Jimin then, cooing unintelligible things into his skin and hair, biting his earlobe when Jimin groaned. Namjoon surged forward to kiss Yoongi and let his hands trail all along Seokjin’s back. Yoongi whined again when the two men in him harshly pushed into him at the same time.
“I’m gonna d-die,” Yoongi murmured, his eyes closed and limbs feeling heavier than usual.
He could barely move and his orgasm was close, but not close enough.
Seokjin pulled out of Yoongi and Jimin followed, rolling them over so Yoongi was on his back on the bed. Hoseok and Namjoon attacked him then, their lips and tongues laving across Yoongi’s everywhere. Yoongi peeped one eye open to see Taehyung and Jeongguk climb into their huge bed, naked, and quickly circling round Yoongi with the others.
Jeongguk leaned over to push his boobs into Yoongi’s face and Yoongi suckled on them as best as he could. He felt tired and he couldn’t really move, but Jeongguk helped him by guiding his nipple to Yoongi’s lips. Yoongi sucked it into his mouth and rolled the pert nub in between his tongue and teeth, being careful not to bite down unless Jeongguk asked. Taehyung’s fingers were in Yoongi’s hair and their mouth was making a steady trail up Yoongi’s inner thigh. Yoongi focused on moving on his hand until he found Jeongguk’s hot folds in between his legs, flicking his thumb across Jeongguk’s clit. Jeongguk keened and pushed down on Yoongi’s hand.
Taehyung made it to Yoongi’s rim then and kissed the puckered ring of muscle, tentatively pushing their tongue in. Yoongi moaned and bit down on Jeongguk’s boob in his mouth. Jeongguk, in turn, whined and turned to shove his hand into Taehyung’s hair, pulling slightly on the brown strands. Taehyung hummed happily and continued to prod Yoongi with their tongue.
Seokjin and Namjoon pulled away from their circle after leaving two hickeys on Yoongi’s sides so the elder could push himself into an already stretched-Namjoon who’d been prepped by Hoseok. Jimin and Hoseok followed next, Jimin making quick work of scissoring Hoseok open. Yoongi groaned around Jeongguk’s nipple as he watched the others make love, his hips pushing up into Taehyung’s face without his permission. Taehyung pressed their palm flat against Yoongi’s abdomen and held him down.
“Hyung,” Taehyung murmured, their lips looking wet and slick.
“Hmm?” Yoongi hummed around Jeongguk’s nipple, his tongue moving slowly around it and too tired to speak.
His body felt on fire and his limbs ached, but he didn’t have the strength to move. He could barely keep his hand moving across Jeongguk’s clit as it was.
“Do you want Gukkie-yah to ride you while I fuck you?” Taehyung asked, their voice muffled as they tried to suckle a hickey onto Yoongi’s inner thigh.
Yoongi nodded, a moan ripping itself out between his lips as his two youngest lovers moved around him. Jeongguk straddled his waist and Taehyung propped their head on Jeongguk’s shoulder as they shuffled in between Yoongi’s thighs one more. Jeongguk sat up, grabbed Yoongi’s neglected cock and let it slide in between the hot folds of his cunt. Yoongi groaned, his hands reaching up to grip Jeongguk’s slim waist as he tried to not think about how fucking wet Jeongguk was.
“Oh shit,” Yoongi groaned, wrenching his eyes closed as Jeongguk rocked against him.
Taehyung made themself known by pushing into Yoongi harshly, bottoming out easily and wasting little to no time in setting up a fast rhythm. When Taehyung thrusted into Yoongi, Yoongi, in turn, pushed up into Jeongguk at the same time that Jeongguk was coming down.
His orgasm was close, so close and so much was going on.
Distantly, he could hear Seokjin swear as he came in Namjoon. Hoseok whined as he came on his stomach and groaned when Jimin let out a heavy breath and stiffened above him, spurts of his hot come filling Hoseok up. Yoongi watched as Seokjin took Namjoon’s face in his hands and slowly canted his hips up into him. Namjoon came with a shout, his face scrunching up with the pleasure of his orgasm and then went limp in Seokjin’s arm, looking more blissed out than he usually did.
Jeongguk sat rocking against Yoongi’s waist and Yoongi let his hand slide in between Jeongguk’s thighs to toy with his clit again. Taehyung had Yoongi’s legs on their shoulders now, doing almost all of the work for all three of them. Jeongguk clenched down on Yoongi and came, leaning down to moan into Yoongi’s collarbones, his breasts hot against Yoongi’s chest as he did. Taehyung came right after, bucking frantically into Yoongi, cock rubbing against Yoongi’s prostate with each thrust, and hands gripping on tight to Yoongi’s waist.
“M’gonna come,” Yoongi warned, voice low and gruff and sounding strangled.
Jeongguk nodded, but didn’t move and Yoongi couldn’t hold back anymore.
Yoongi keened and felt his body convulse as his orgasm finally hit him. Jeongguk kissed his throat and remained where he was, letting Yoongi release himself inside him. Yoongi saw blinding white and his thighs shook, but once his orgasm had hit its peak, he collapsed against the sheets and breathed heavily into Jeongguk’s hair.
Hands were on him again cleaning him up, caressing his skin. There were fingers in his hair, blunt fingernails scratching against his scalp, and he was too tired to tell who it was. Lips were on his skin, kissing it, sucking, licking it. He couldn’t move, his limbs felt like jelly and his eyes fought to remain open.
Yoongi was tired.
He still laughed when they simultaneously wished him a happy birthday.
“Why are you laughing?” Namjoon asked, his voice hazy and one hand on Yoongi’s clavicle.
“I honestly thought you guys forgot about my birthday,” Yoongi whispered, his voice hoarse and he was still laughing, though the laughter was winding down now that the peacefulness of Yoongi’s orgasm was settling.
Hoseok rolled his eyes and kissed Yoongi square on the mouth, his heart-shaped lips persistent against Yoongi’s.
He pulled back to mutter, “We would never forget.”
Yoongi didn’t get a chance to respond because then they were all upon him, kissing him and each other and when Seokjin and Jimin got just a tad bit too into their kiss, Yoongi told them to get a room. Jimin looked over his shoulder and gave the elder his signature greasy smile.
“Aw, is Bird jealous? Does Little Birdy want Seokjinnie-hyung and Jiminnie to kiss him so hard he’s left covered in hickeys?” Jimin’s voice was condescending and Yoongi frowned.
“Shut up. Stop calling me that,” he grumbled, a pout on his lips. “And I don’t know if you’ve noticed, but I’m already covered in hickeys, you animals.”
“You hear that? We’re animals now.” Hoseok shot them a wide grin, an evil glint in his eyes. “Guess we have to mark him up like the animals we are so everyone knows who he belongs to.”
“Excuse you, I am a human being,” Yoongi shot back, his arms crossed over his chest.
Namjoon waggled his eyebrows at him. “Yeah, but we’re not. Apparently, we’re animals, according to you. So everyone, pick a spot and mark it. Everyone has to give him a hickey for each year he’s been alive.”
Yoongi liked to believe that he didn’t smile and giggle like a child when Seokjin attached his lips to Yoongi’s stomach and blew a raspberry on it before sucking on his skin. He definitely didn’t thread his fingers through Taehyung’s hair when they kissed a trail up Yoongi’s throat. And he definitely did not at all have a huge smile on his face when Jimin whispered a quiet ‘I love you’ into Yoongi’s thigh before he bit down on the tender flesh.
“Hyung, are you sure you’re not 100?” Jeongguk asked suddenly, his lips swollen and hair mussed. “You seem like an old man.”
“Get your mouth away from me, Jeon.”
“Tae wants to give you a hundred hickeys too.”
Taehyung nodded their head and snickered at that, too busy kissing Yoongi’s jaw to give a verbal response.
“Fuck you guys.”
“Already did, hyung,” Jeongguk smirked.
“I hate you all,” Yoongi grumbled.
“We love you too, Yoongi-yah.” Seokjin kissed his lips and then his eyelids, before trailing his lips across Yoongi’s forehead. “Happy birthday.”

meet me under the mistletoe
Tumblr media
pairing: ot7 (seokjin x everyone)  genre: fluff, mild smut, non au, rated m  warnings: mild sexual content, dry humping   words: 2000
summary: Seokjin couldn't sleep, but after some kisses under the mistletoe, he felt whole again.
Tumblr media
It was five o’clock on Christmas morning and Seokjin was the only one awake.
Seokjin had never gone to bed. He’d been too busy staring at Yoongi and Taehyung’s faces as they slept to even think about sleeping himself. He was too restless and too caught up in his feelings for all six of his bandmates. They were all so distinctly different and unique that it was a wonder Seokjin hadn’t figured out he was in love with them all earlier.
Jeongguk, the youngest, had only recently joined their strange seven way relationship when he turned of age and Yoongi no longer felt weird about kissing him whenever he wanted. He was young, but seemed older than his years and resembled Yoongi the most personality wise. He hid his own feelings for the sake of others and Seokjin sometimes hated seeing Jeongguk put others first.
Taehyung, the most eccentric of them all, was always competing with Jeongguk. It was undeniable that Taehyung had a very special place for the youngest in his heart though. All six of them knew it and Seokjin was glad that his strange, welcoming, and easy going boyfriend had found a similar soul to love like Jeongguk.
Jimin, the most timid, had only joined them when Hoseok had cornered him into it. Jimin was shy and though he denied it, loved being praised. Seokjin felt his heart lurch on those days when Jimin wouldn’t eat much because he thought he had to starve himself in order for others to love him. But it was clear that all six of them loved Jimin. Seokjin took every chance he could to shovel heaps of food into Jimin when the younger allowed him to.
Namjoon, the leader, was a lost puppy in Seokjin’s eyes. He felt most cautious around him because Namjoon would turn into a blushing, flustered mess whenever Seokjin approached him. Though he was the leader, it was clear that Namjoon liked to be babied and taken care of. On those rare occasions when Namjoon would crawl into Seokjin’s bed instead of vice-versa, Seokjin loved the way Namjoon would cling to him after their love making as if he never wanted to leave the elder’s side.
Hoseok, the most shameless, never hesitated to initiate any kind of physical contact with any of them. Seokjin loved to pamper and cuddle Hoseok because he was the most warm and Seokjin understood how much Hoseok needed the physical contact to remind himself that he was very loved. Seokjin made sure that Hoseok wasn’t alone for long periods of time because all of them were very aware of Hoseok’s severe depression and how being alone sometimes brought on the anxiety attacks that Hoseok dreaded. It went without saying that Hoseok was the most sheltered of Seokjin’s boyfriends.
Yoongi, the tsundre marshmallow, was Seokjin’s greatest source of joy. There was never a morning that Seokjin didn’t wake up with the sleepy man beside him in bed to greet him. Yoongi was constantly by his side and it was no surprise that it’d been Seokjin and Yoongi’s fooling around that had resulted in the others joining in and finally becoming official when Jeongguk turned of age. To Seokjin, Yoongi was both fragile and strong. He could fall apart at the slightest stern tone in someone’s voice, but he could also rise up and fight for his own when he felt that someone he cared about was being threatened. When Yoongi’s mixtape had been released, Seokjin and the others had thrown a quiet dinner and then slept together in the living room, everyone touching Yoongi somewhere to show him that they were all there for him and they were all proud of him for every single thing he’d ever done. Seokjin was certain that if he wasn’t in love with the other five, he probably would have run away somewhere with Yoongi so they could marry and live happily together.
But as it turned out, Seokjin was in love with the other five and there was never a day that he felt he could live without them. All of them were amazing and each of them brought something different to their relationship. Seokjin was helplessly in love with each of them and it didn’t matter they had to keep their relationship a secret, because they all understood the risks and still chose to love one another despite that.
Of course, the sex was amazing for all of them as well. Jeongguk, who’d only recently become of age, had finally been able to join them in their “adventurous sexy time” (as Taehyung called it), and he was generally content with one-on-one sex. Most of the others didn’t really mind who topped who because even if the sex was amazing, the emphasis on who was getting dick and who was giving it wasn’t what mattered to them. They loved each other and sex wasn’t just sex. It was love making (something Seokjin had to emphasize on whenever Namjoon would shy away from the intensity of all their feelings for one another). There was no denying that they all loved each other deeply and that from the moment everyone began making teasing remarks about the mole on Taehyung’s inner thigh, their sex life had turned into something more meaningful.
Abruptly, Seokjin was drawn out from his thoughts when Yoongi whimpered and Taehyung immediately began to pull Yoongi into his arms, both still asleep. Seokjin watched them closely, noticing how Yoongi’s whimpers immediately died out as he nestled himself comfortably into the younger. When Yoongi’s fingers curled into the duvet and he pulled it up so it covered Taehyung’s naked shoulders, Seokjin was convinced that he’d never seen a more gorgeous scene than the one before him.
Seokjin had been staring at the two since Taehyung had crawled into his bed the night before , but at that moment, his bladder urged him to get out of bed and attend to some rather important business.
After taking care of his business, Seokjin ghosted through the hall and checked on everyone in their rooms. He opened the door to Jeongguk’s room only to find it empty. He rolled his eyes and quietly shut the door before turning on his heel in a complete one-eighty and opened the door to Namjoon and Taehyung’s room. He paused when he realized that there were four bodies squished together atop the two mattresses that had been pushed together on the floor.
Jeongguk lay in the middle of the puddle of limbs with his head resting atop Namjoon’s bare chest and Hoseok’s hand in his brown hair. Namjoon lied with his head resting on Jimin’s arm and his legs tangled with Jeongguk’s as he snored away. Hoseok lay with his head nuzzled into Jimin’s outstretched hand and one leg over Jeongguk’s waist. Jimin lied on the other side of Namjoon, curled up into the taller man’s side with his other hand splayed across Namjoon’s ribs. They were a mess of limbs and bare skin and ruffled hair, but they were sleeping peacefully and that was enough for Seokjin to smile as he closed the door quietly.
Seokjin knew he wasn’t going to bed any time soon and the Christmas tree in their living room with the presents they’d gotten each other were distracting him. He took a deep breath, walked past the living room, and began getting to work in the kitchen. He moved quickly, smoothly, and as quietly as he could so as not to awake any of the other members. But he should have known that Hoseok would come wandering into the kitchen with only a pair of briefs on as he rubbed a hand over his chest and yawned.
“Morning, hyung,” Hoseok mumbled groggily, moving closer to the elder to press a soft kiss against his lips. “What are we making?” Hoseok had an uncanny sense of knowing when Seokjin was cooking and it never ceased to amaze the elder. He smiled anyways and gave Hoseok another peck on the lips before handing him a batter bowl.
“Pancakes. Mind stirring, Hobi?” Seokjin asked, running his nose along Hoseok’s hairline.
Hoseok smiled. “On it, hyung.”
Seokjin grinned in response and yelped when a hand came up to smack his clothed ass. The elder turned to face Jimin who had a greasy smile across his face.
“It’s so early that the full moon is still out to greet me, hyung,” Jimin chuckled.
“That hurt,” Seokjin said simply then leaned in to kiss the dancer on his plump lips. “Morning, Jimin-ah. The food will be done in twenty minutes.”
Jimin gripped onto Seokjin’s waist and mouthed at his neck, murmuring a noise of agreement before he moved to fling himself across Hoseok’s back.
Seokjin laughed and turned back to the bacon he’d been busy with beforehand. Slowly, one after another, each member walked groggily into the kitchen, greeting Seokjin first with a kiss then moving on to make their rounds with the others in the room.
Taehyung was the last to enter the kitchen and by then Seokjin and Hoseok had finished making the pancakes, eggs, bacon, and sausages that they rarely ever ate. Namjoon cleared a space at the head of the table for Seokjin and Seokjin made sure that everyone else had been served before he accepted the plate that Yoongi handed him. He sat down and began to eat with the six people he cherished most in the world.
When they finished eating, Jeongguk was the first to point out the mistletoe that hung right over Seokjin’s head. Seokjin looked up at the bushel hanging from the ceiling then stared down Hoseok who had a bright, amused smile splitting his face in two because Seokjin knew he had hung it there and Hoseok was incapable of feeling shame.
“Alright, line up,” Seokjin mumbled, his mood turning a bit sour from lack of sleep.
But he forgot all about being upset when Jeongguk twisted his fingers into his hair, straddled his thighs and kissed Seokjin breathless. Seokjin let his hands wander all over the youngest’s body, and grinned when Taehyung complained that it was his turn then pushed Jeongguk off Seokjin’s lap. Taehyung sat in the same position Jeongguk had and kissed Seokjin just as fiercely. Seokjin groaned when Jeongguk pulled Taehyung off Seokjin’s lap and Jimin quickly replaced his spot, kissing Seokjin without any preamble and shamelessly rutting his crotch into the elder’s.
After Jimin, Namjoon’s shy way of gripping onto the small hairs on the nape of Seokjin’s neck and bearing most of his own weight on Seokjin’s lap as he kissed the elder softly comforted Seokjin in a way that left him dizzy, content and warm. Hoseok was as shameless as Jimin and even palmed at the elder through his pajama bottoms before a grouchy Yoongi had pushed him aside and wrapped his legs around the elder. Seokjin smiled down at Yoongi, taking notice of the other five who were already getting down to business and kissing each other without a care in the world. The moans that rang out around them had Seokjin practically whining when Yoongi pressed a kiss to the elder’s collar bone, ran his tongue along the length of Seokjin’s throat, and caught Seokjin’s bottom lip in between his teeth.
Seokjin had his fingers digging into Yoongi’s waist and when he ran a hand over the swell of Yoongi’s ass, he moaned after discovering the lacy material of the panties Jimin had bought him hidden underneath the baggy sweatshirt Yoongi was wearing.
“Merry Christmas, hyung,” Yoongi breathed against Seokjin’s cheek, brushing his hips against the obvious bulge in Seokjin’s pajama bottoms.
Seokjin kissed Yoongi fiercely, groaning when Yoongi moaned and stared at the others. Hoseok had Jimin in a sixty-nine position and Jeongguk, Taehyung, and Namjoon were busy sucking each other off in a weird position that Seokjin wasn’t very sure about. Either way, he was glad he had them all.
“Merry Christmas. I love you.”
