Hello! I took a glance at your masterlist, and I saw some of my gifs on there!!! I’m so excited to see them & my friends’ resources being used, and I hope this means that more people will use underused period fcs!!! However, some of my packs have gone into The Tumblr Tag Void, and I’m not sure which of your posts are queued. Here are all of the ones that I didn’t find on the masterlist (idk if they’re already on the blog & just not on the list)! Thank you so much for all you do.
Andre Flynn: The Musketeers S3
Anthony Head: Still Star-Crossed clips
Asli Orcan: KSVS S1
Baris Alpaykut: KSVS S1
Birkan Sokullu: KSVS S1
Elcin Sangu: KSVS S1
Farah Zeynep Abdullah: KSVS S1 (but she’s also in Magnificent Century!)
Gijs Blom: The Letter to the King (fantasy!)
Kivanc Tatlitug: KSVS S1
Lashana Lynch: Still Star-Crossed clips
Leehom Wang / Wang Lee Hom: The Legend of the Ancient Sword (fantasy!)
Lindsay Duncan: Closer to the Enemy
Santiago Cabrera: The Musketeers S3
Torrance Coombs: Still Star-Crossed clips
Zuleikha Robinson: Still Star-Crossed clips
Also the “idk” in the Paul Rudd section is a movie called “Year One”! - Jack Black is in it, too, and Maric (the same person that made the Paul Rudd Year One gifs) made gifs of him in it as well!
Hi Sveja! Thank you so much for compiling this list! This really helps a lot! I think I have only half of these queued up because, as you said, tumblr’s void is just ridiculous! So thanks again for these links and for letting me know about the title of the show Paul Rudd is in!
We’ll definitely queue these up and add them all to our directory masterlist!
Thanks for all your hard work!

Name: Ioan Brady Age: 34 Sexuality: Heterosexual Gender: Male Portrayed By: Torrance Coombs Availability: Closed
“I dunno about any of that... I just want to know what happened to my brother.”
→ Background
Raised by his grandparents in Northern Ireland alongside his older brother Cameron, Ioan had a pretty nice life. His parents weren’t in the picture but it didn’t really bother him too much as his grandparents were there for him no matter what. His brother grew up thinking the same and the two of them were fairly close as well. All round, it was pretty perfect to be a Brady. Until Cameron started to experience the symptoms of bipolar disorder anyway. When it started, Ioan had no idea what was going on with his big brother, he was acting out of character and some of it kind of scared the younger man. Luckily, Cameron got treatment and Ioan just did his best to be there for his brother.
Sadly, their grandparents passed away in their sleep soon after, which was both lovely that they both went together, and also painfully sad that they went at all. Ioan was devastated, though maybe not quite as bad as Cameron was. After the funerals, his brother disappeared. He skipped town, left all his medication at home, but was eventually admitted to a mental health facility in England, which Ioan heard about when the hospital phoned him after admitting his brother. He couldn’t pack up and head to England on a whim so Ioan just asked them to keep him updated, and life went on in the new normal. He missed Cameron but he knew he was safe.
→ Back to Baberton
By the time Ioan even knew Cameron was no longer in treatment at all, a long time had gone by. It struck him that he hadn’t heard anything in a while, phoned the hospital and found out that Cameron had been let out. It worried him but he was sure his brother would get in touch with him eventually. Other than one random garbled phone call, he never heard from Cameron agian. By the time news reached Ireland that Cameron Brady had murdered a woman, it was far too late and his brother had been on the run. Though he waas soon caught and dragged back to England by a police officer called Noelle Whitfield and locked up. Turns out it was the woman’s mother Cam had killed. Ioan didn’t really understand how any of this could have happened and he was furious - his brother should have been getting the proper care and treatment. He should have been home. None of this should have happened.
Ioan went back and forth from hom to England to visit his brother in prison, but soon enough, Cameron actually escaped from his cell and went on the run again. He hadn’t been heard from again and Ioan had put a lot of money into trying to track his brother down again, but nothing ever came up. Until the end of last year when his body randomly showed up outside the police station. It was clear he’d been dead a long time and Ioan was devastated. He moved to the town of Baberton temporarily at the start of this year, determined to find out what exactly happened to his brother and he’s not going to rest until he gets to the truth.
→ What’s His Secret?
Believes that the woman Cameron tried to kill is behind his death. He put her in a coma and everyone thought she was dead until it came out she’d been accidentally labeled a Jane Doe and was alive but comatose. Brooke Ford. She eventually came out of the coma and seems to be living a normal life but it seems too suspicious to Ioan and it just seems to him that she has to know what happened if she didn’t do the deed herself. He’s going to find out.
Had put all his money into trying to find his brother, hiring private investigators, and ended up borrowing a lot of money from a pretty bad guy back home. Ioan was being chased down by one of this man’s henchmen for the money he owed but couldn’t pay in a million years, and so running off to Baberton was the perfect way to escape a probably beating, even though the circumstances of his brother’s death was horrible.
Is so angry that his family is now ripped apart forever that he’s been harbouring some revenge type fantasies. Whoever did this to his brother, his sick brother, deserves something awful and sometimes imagining what that might be gives him some sick sense of peace. Cameron was all Ioan had left and whoever killed him deserves to suffer the same fate.

5 THINGS TO EXPECT IN STILL STAR-CROSSED
If you’re struggling to fill the void that Scandal and How To Get Away With Murder left behind with their respective season finales, have no fear—there’s a new Shondaland drama on the horizon, and it’s about to dish out a fresh heaping of the juicy storylines you’ve come to crave. The Shonda Rhimes-helmed production company’s latest series Still Star-Crossed premieres Monday, May 29 at 10 p.m. ET on ABC, and you better believe that it packs plenty of twists and turns.
The period drama picks up after the end of Romeo and Juliet, offering a glimpse at what might have gone down after the titular characters’ tragic deaths. It revives the long-standing feud between the Capulet and Montague families, and delves deeper into the lives of characters that we came to know and love (or hate) in Shakespeare’s original play. One of the characters that we’ll get to know particularly well is Count Paris, played by former Reign star Torrance Coombs, who didn’t survive the end of the play. In ABC’s take, however, Paris is alive and well—and that’s just one of the many suprises to expect.
“Romeo and Juliet has been a play for a long time, so obviously I can spoil that—but I don’t want to spoil too many of the liberties that have been taken with the sequel,” Coombs recently told InStyle. “But I will say that there’s still a lot of hurt from what went down with Romeo and Juliet, and there are a lot of angry people. Amid all that, though, there’s still some hope. There’s a love story in there, and it’s still an optimistic show despite all of the violent and terrible things happening. And there’s something sexy and romantic and beautiful about it all.”
Scroll down for five things that Coombs told us to expect in the show.
1. Signature Shondaland Drama
“It’s got the hallmark stuff of Shondaland’s other shows—there’s definitely some of the sharp twists and turns that they’re known for,” said Coombs. “I imagine there will be some moments that are very shocking to people. But it also has something a little different to it. I think there’s a reason they didn’t throw it on Thursday night with the other shows, although the sense of humor and the celebration of the soapiness of it is definitely there. Everything on the show is a confrontation, because there are no cell phones or technology. Every encounter is deliberate, and the only way to talk to somebody is face-to-face or by letter—so it’s difficult to tell people that someone is in trouble and needs saving. Information doesn’t travel easily, so dramatically speaking, that raises the stakes a lot.”
2. Gorgeous Settings
“The show shoots in small-town Spain, and the production team opted to shoot entirely on location,” said Coombs. “So there’s no studio or soundstage—it was 100 percent real locations throughout Spain. Occasionally a fountain will be made of Styrofoam or something, but everything is really authentic—the walls and stairs in the buildings are all worn and heavy, and there were amazing cathedrals. Everything was picked for how picturesque it was. We shot in six or seven different cities, and one of the most impressive places was a town called Salamanca where we shot a lot of outdoor scenes for the pilot episode. There’s a big church up on a hill, and it’s probably one of the most magnificent churches you’ve ever seen. But then you see another church in the distance, and it’s even bigger and more impressive than that one.”
3. New Twists on the Classic
“In the story of Romeo and Juliet, Paris is a noble from a nearby city who’s initially engaged to be married to Juliet. He’s in line for the throne in Manchua, and if he had married Juliet, the Capulets would have basically been elevated to royal status. So he really thinks that’s going well, but then it turns out that Romeo has married her under his nose. So he has a swordfight with Romeo, which leaves him dead in the play. But for the purposes of our show, we say he’s very close to death but manages to survive his wounds. He hasn’t given up on his aspirations for power and elevating the Capulet family with a political alliance—it’s still pretty important to him, and he’s going to continue to pursue that. But now that Juliet is dead, Paris has to go to plan B. He’s kind of gone into hiding, and he’s biding his time. He slowly worms his way into the main storyline, and that’s when the real fun began for me.”
4. Tons of Swordfights
“There are some huge swordfights in this show,” said Coombs. “When tensions overflow, they get really impressive. We’d go into a room to practice, and there would be like 100 guys practicing. There’s one big central swordfight between Paris and Romeo, and was exciting to shoot. It was interesting because I’ve been spending a lot of time doing more broadsword, big-swinging sword fights, and this was a lot more finessed, kind of like rapier sword fighting. So that was an adjustment for me.”
5. Elaborate Costumes
“The costumes are gorgeous,” said Coombs. “They’re a hybrid of period and modern pieces, because even though the show takes place in a time period, but it’s not strictly speaking of the historical story. So we weren’t beholden to what they wore back then, exactly. There’s a lot of modern designer wear mixed in with custom period pieces, and for my character, there are a lot of really high collars, ruffled shirts, and tailored pants. He’s an incredibly regal guy and sort of pompous. He loves showing off, and he wears loud, beautiful fabrics and detailed embroidery. And then the noblewomen have show-stopping dresses, and there are a lot of corsets. We talked a lot about the characters wearing different styles of dress to suggest what kind of a person they are, so there’s quite a diversity in terms fashion.” [x]
