See this is incredibly niche – not just because of the topic but also because the joke itself is deeply stupid. But I have to share my vision, you understand.

There's been a boatload of talk about negative stuff in my Tumblr circles, so it's time to do some random rambling about the awesome stuff that's been happening recently, cus this is my space, and I came to this website for escapism and happiness, goddamnit!
So, art month's been going pretty dang well so far. Of course, I'm still not an expert, and I'm not getting an enormous amount of notes or anything, but I'm definitely improving and climbing up, slowly but surely (and the fact that I could get even just a few people to care enough click the buttons feels incredible... maybe I should do more ships and power swapped scugs in the future?). Exams will probably start coming up in the second half of the month, and I may have to skip or delay lots of days then, but I still have plenty of time until that happens (yes, I know I didn't do 4 yet, but I assure you - that had nothing to do with the drama that was happening, I was just tired as hell, and so I couldn't draw too much xd).
Some other games I've been following have also got some good news - like for instance, there's this custom campaign series in Warcraft 3 called 'Warcraft 3 Alternate', which are the vanilla campaigns, just races and factions all being swapped around, with a bunch of extra new features, systems, units, heroes, and other additions too. And couple days ago, it's fifth campaign was released, which I really enjoyed watching on YouTube, since this is the point in the story where all the main factions pop up, but they're all swapped around now, so the situation is kind of a mess. Oh, and this partially inspired fire Rivulet too, so there's some neat trivia I guess.
And League of Legends - while is not getting the Arena back, that me and my dad had such a blast with - is getting updated bots, which is very much a big deal for me, cus I used to constantly 1v5 them, as a way to enjoy all the awesome and fun characters from the game, without having to potentially put up with douchebags the matchmaking might throw at me. And if I have time, I'll most definitely want to test of these new ones will be 1v5-able, and if so, which champions could pull it off?
Now, back on track to the Rain game - I've been really loving all the amazing pieces my dear friends and mutuals and acquaintances and other lovely folks have been making for the art month! Their skills and creativity is nothing short of impressive. However, I've been running into a bit of a dilemma, where I'm often thinking about liking or reblogging something, but then my brain goes "Hey, what about all the other stuff that you aren't reblogging or liking, even though they would clearly deserve it? Wouldn't it be unfair if you boosted this, but not those?" and it kind of makes me not want to press the buttons, even if the post might actually deserve them.
Does anybody else have this experience, or am I just going crazy here? There's probably some sort of solution here, and I hope I'll eventually figure it out, cus y'know, it's probably also unfair to not like or reblog people's stuff, while still hoping that they would do it to me. It just feels a lil dirty, and I'm really trying to figure out how to make myself stop.
... yeah, I know this was meant to be about only positivivty, but I wanted to mention that little pet peeve of mine. I don't really feel like it would b justified to create a Disord chatroom just for this, y'know.

So, I don’t actually remember when I first heard of Supergirl.
I was aware that that character existed, in as much as I knew of Transformers, maybe, or Harry Potter. Actually, along with Harry Potter and Star Wars, I discovered Supergirl in 2015- although unlike those, which happened in summer, I found her in the fall, the day after her show premiered.
When you go to my blog and search that tag chronologically, the first post that comes up is her costume, which I apparently reblogged on March 8th, 2015. I don’t remember that, nor do I remember the lead-up to the show starting, but I remember being in the Owings Mills branch of the Baltimore County public library system (which was in the same building as the community college I went to) when I watched that first episode, the day after it premiered. I also remember that I was watching Gravity Falls at the same time, and that episode was… weird. To say the least. It was the beginning of that show’s series finale, so of course they were going out on a high note.
Anyway. Again, I’m not sure what my reaction to the first episode was, but I know I liked it enough to create a playlist for it starting on October 28th, and I kept reblogging posts and gifsets about it as I continued watching it from that point. It was something, along with Agent Carter when that show came back for its second and final season, that I could watch with my mom, even though she didn’t pay attention, and that was a good thing for me. I remember asking my parents if we had CBS, and telling them I wanted to watch something on it on Mondays at 8 PM. I didn’t know anything about Supergirl other than her name when the show started, but I wanted to know more.
And as I kept watching, captivated by the relationship of the Danvers sisters as well as pretty much everything else, I became obsessed, to the point that my mom, when talking to my aunt, referred to it as my favorite show- which she was right about. From the second episode, I tried my best to watch it live, which I attempted to do for every episode in the first season aside from episode 12, Bizarro, which I couldn’t watch because the power was out that night. But other than that, I had a great watching experience, and the show was kind of an escape from my college work, with Kara as a character I loved and could look up to.
Also, there was a Brainiac in the show, and I was really into Brainiac, so I readily accepted Indigo/Brainiac 8, especially because her episode had a Legion ring and I loved that a lot. But that was only a 3-episode arc, and I loved the show even after she died.
Season 2 started, I was at college away from home, and was planning to watch the episodes the days after they aired, on the CW website. I didn’t particularly care what network the show was on, it was back, and I was really excited about it. And for the first half, I really enjoyed it- especially because I got to share my enthusiasm with my friend Pesky, who (while not exactly watching the show) was willing to put up with my talking about it and even wrote a fic based on the Red Kryptonite episode of season 1, albeit for Superman instead of Supergirl.
That season was also when I started speculating about Brainiac 5 appearing on the show, due to his connection to Kara, and because of his family and connection to Superman in the LOSH cartoon, I started drawing parallels between him and Clark’s relationship, and Kara and Lena’s relationship. (I later regretted this.) Because of it, Pesky and I began writing a lot about these two relationships, especially in the second half of the season, and it was a great distraction from some of the less-good parts of those episodes. Thanks to Pesky, I got back into writing fanfic, and I couldn’t be more grateful for it, or her. (Also, that season- during a snow day in early February- was when I got into Supergirl Radio, a podcast that I still love to this day, and it changed my life.)
Especially because we ended up creating the Winndox ship, which (unbeknownst to us) would actually become incredibly accurate to what ultimately happened on the show. Season 3 was… certainly a journey, that I enjoyed even more because I got more involved in the fandom in addition to my friendship with Pesky, and especially because of the casting of Jesse Rath as Brainiac-5, one of the greatest decisions in the entire Arrowverse.
Seriously, within a month of the announcement, I had already watched one of his shows, and was planning to watch a few others, and decided just based on that, that he was going to be a great Brainy. Which I was right about, I still love him so much, and his take on Brainy (aside from some stuff in season 4) is so beautiful and complicated, and I cannot say enough things about it. Unfortunately, along with all the great fanfic-writing, and my joining AO3 and having been named New Rachel by Supergirl Radio, the fandom was also very not good, which was why I was happy to join the Sunshine Protection Force Discord in the spring of 2018.
Also again, and I cannot emphasize this enough, Winn and Brainy had some real scenes together, and they were rivals just like Pesky and I had hypothesized. It was the most vindicating thing… until November of that year, when Jesse Rath topped it by posting one of my text post memes about Brainy being bisexual, and the following December, he mentioned that his favorite Brainy ship was Brainy and Winn. Also yesterday, there was that video released of Jesse and Jeremy cuddling. Albeit with Chris also in that bed. But still, I love them, and I’m really happy that it’s something that’s at least canon adjacent.
So season 3 was really interesting to watch, and season 4, if partially because I was spending a lot of time working, and trying to adjust to life after college graduation, was… less so. I mean, it was interesting, but it was also really difficult to watch. However, again, at least I joined a really nice Twitter group chat around February of last year, as well as remaining in the SPF.
And so we come to season 5, where I’m still a part of the Twitter group chat and the SPF as well as another great and positive Supergirl discord, I’ve written 100 fics on AO3 and countless others on my Tumblr, I’ve watched all of the Arrowverse shows (except for Black Lightning, sorry, I will catch up soon), I’ve gotten to cohost on Supergirl Radio for an episode, I’ve met a cohost of the Legends of Tomorrow podcast, I have a shirt and poster directly from the SYFY channel because I tweeted a lot about Krypton… those last two things aren’t relevant. But I still like them and they wouldn’t have been possible if I hadn’t gotten into Supergirl, and although I wasn’t sure how I felt about season 5 at first, especially because of Crisis, these past few episodes show a lot of promise and I definitely don’t mind living in a post-Crisis world. Kara Danvers, Alex Danvers, J’onn J’onzz, Querl Dox, and everyone else, I will always love you all, thank you for showing me light during the dark parts of my life, thank you for giving me hope, thank you for being there and being inspiring.
I’m so excited for this 100th episode, even with all the ups and downs that have led us this far, and hopefully, here’s to 100more. Or however many you end up getting.
Thank you, Supergirl. Even though you’re not perfect, and your fandom is far from it, you really are my favorite show.

because many and long and thorough:
danjaley replied to your photo “A single glance sufficed for Alvar to see he would have a hard time...”
I like this thought. And it links Alvar and Tobio on yet another level.
In future updates we shall learn how their relationship developed after that first sexual encounter, but I thought I’d already leave this hinting at their paths, that is really so different between themselves.
danjaley replied to your photoset “There lay a peculiar emptiness to the closet, though. Tobio’s clothes...”
Oh dear, this really is a large bottle of wine! ;)
And it’s a particularly beautiful one, right, @aroundthesims
tyrellsimsoficeandfire replied to your photo “The outbreak of war had interrupted the normal and predictable career...”
I like this so much. Fire always makes beautiful effects. And the background! I'm looking forward to see more of your WW I recreations.
It is so atmospheric, I agree. One can feel the ambient just because of the image of the fire pit. It must be our ancestral collective memories.
As for the WWI, this is when the steampunk accent creeps in... There is virtually nothing specific to recreate the war, so it will be more on the side of fantasy and imagination than recreation...
tyrellsimsoficeandfire replied to your photoset “There lay a peculiar emptiness to the closet, though. Tobio’s clothes...”
What a luxurious bedroom.
Oh, Alvar think it is so middling class, so constraining in its humbleness... But it did take a lot work to build this set!
tyrellsimsoficeandfire replied to your photo “Alvar had then ventured into yet another room of his friend’s house...”
Alvar still looks kinda hot...
Poor Alvar. He would never think of himself as hot -- did people use that term back then? --, and not in his lame post-war persona anyways... But I agree with you, he still looks fit and his partial nudity in contrast with the formal attire is kinda hot!
hyperkaos replied to your photo “The outbreak of war had interrupted the normal and predictable career...”
I keep coming back to see if you've added more to this, it intrigues me as to how it ties into everything else
And it took only a few days... Sorry to keep you waiting. I hope it makes more sense now.
declarations-of-drama replied to your photo “Tobio?” Alvar inquired, in a voice that suddenly sounded not just...”
Oh hi!!! I remember you from 'beneath the stairs!' lolol x
And what stairs are we talking about? Because Alvar has been carrying Apollo Jim since the margins of the river, up those incredible stone stairs where Death tried to dissuade and distract him :)
declarations-of-drama replied to your photo “Tobio!” He exhaled the name more than called it, and finally seemed...”
I love the blend also @tyrellsimsoficeandfire
I simply cannot imagine my game without the Greek outfits made @venusprincess-simblr, even if I am not playing the Greco-roman world any longer, so I always make up reasons to use them... :)
declarations-of-drama replied to your photo “Where do I place him, Tobio?” It could have been said that he...”
What are the scars on his face from? Crazy experiments? Acid attack? He wants to be a super-villain?
Poor Tobio. He is super nothing, except perhaps super lonely, super devastated, super sad.
I don’t think I have described the ambush that cost his eye, have I? Then I should!
declarations-of-drama replied to your photo “With a sharp sting across his chest, Alvar deposed Apollo Jim on the...”
I love the description of Alv's perception of death by the window. Beautiful!
Thank you! I’m glad you like it!
declarations-of-drama replied to your photo “Tobio could tell why, but he wanted to listen it from Alvar. Lost Boys...”
Weeds on the soil of wealth. Wow. Your writing is masterful!
Writing is like bathing in a river that springs from yourself. You just pick the right words as they float by you.
But when I am not in the process of actually writing words down, I wonder... Did I really write that?
Thank you always for your support!
tyrellsimsoficeandfire replied to your photo “They hadn’t seen each other in nearly a decade. Freddie’s occasional...”
I always like the atmosphere your shots hsbe6. One can really feel the warmth and intimacy! Also, do I spot danjaley's fireside poses?
I don’t think I remember her poses, but I probably should... These poses are actually from two guys cuddling next to a car, on the floor of a parking lot... Not the least like this scene, actually! But when I saw it I knew it was just right for Alvar and his cousin Freddie.
tyrellsimsoficeandfire replied to your photo “Probably feeling guilty in his irresponsible repose, in dreams – where...”
I'm curious if there's some reason why they are associated with greece?
It’s the ideal time, in the understanding and idealization of the Victorian era, for their love otherwise condemned and forbidden, called then the Greek Love... I have explained it in this post, and declarations-of-drama has a comment below that adds to this, too, if you want to read my answer to it.
danjaley replied to your photo “I understand it, Alvie.” Alvar’s name in Frederic’s mouth was little...”
I was going to say they have these characteristic WW1 faces, but I've come to realize it must be the style rather than the faces, when I compare them with the Greek versions. That's interesting, as I always wonder where those types disappear to when they go out of fashion - or how we'd all look if the year was 1917...
Thank you for mentioning this! It’s very interesting isn’t it?
I did make a post with my inspirations to create the characters for LoSSS. I f look closely to their faces, they are timeless male beauties, considering Western and Classical Greek standards... And they do resemble contemporary male models or actors of our days. It’s their hairstyles and clothes and the photography of course that makes them dated, like you say.
Just like sometimes I meet Italian people who do look like a Roman marble statue come to life...
hyperkaos replied to your photo “Dreaming was all they had had for a while to keep their love thriving...”
So young, so willing to give up everything for hopes and dreams, for love, Alvar's innocence hurts
Yes, that is Alvar, at his purest in the company of the man of his life!
fancifults3cc reblogged your photo and added:
Oh no! A crime of passion!
Oh, I would say this is a crime against passion, Alvar and Freddie’s passion!
declarations-of-drama replied to your photo “You already have, Lord Phallihurst.” Tobio affirmed, after having...”
So, something mixed with the Absinthe?
This is what we know or are led to believe so far. Maybe Tobio  will find out more.
declarations-of-drama replied to your photo “Tobio could tell why, but he wanted to listen it from Alvar. Lost Boys...”
I also had to come back to this chapter to read your description again of the brothels. I've done a bit of reading about these places before now and am sort of a bit fascinated by the whole logistics of how those places conducted business and the lives of the workers etc etc. You paint a very graphic image of it.
I admit to not having researched extensively on this subject, other than reading about brothels and a little about sexuality and pornography in Victorian times -- though this is supposedly Edwardian times (or the end of it) in the story, and then WWI and the changes it brought... I’m happy you did not find any inconsistencies, but please do let me know if you spot any!
declarations-of-drama replied to your photo “The boy stood clearly not for a sailor, though the hat could have been...”
But why would he be wearing a false tattoo? Roleplay? To be seen as a sailor boy I guess?
The tattoo matches the strange outfit, though not so strange for a rent boy who is supposed to fulfill his clients’ fantasies...
The plots holds several small mysteries, and this is one of them...
declarations-of-drama replied to your photo “I don’t think I understand it, Alvar Andrew. You don’t intend to...”
Why is there so much concern for this boy? I'm a bit lost here.
I hope this has been answered in this post, though it is left ambiguous and rather open as Alvar does not utter a word, leaving Tobio to conclude...
I  shall have to be more explicit in the future about the link between Alvar and the boy.
declarations-of-drama replied to your photo “You are taking him to your ancestral lands? To live under the same...”
Good question! And Tobio has probably seen too many to be as bothered about him tbh
Exactly, that’s what he says, too! And the next post to this holds the revelation...
declarations-of-drama reblogged your photo and added:
Art against art…
declarations-of-drama replied to your photo “Not proud.  Not the least, not Alvar.  Not for any past weaknesses,...”
This is amazingly beautiful! The contrast really catches my eye and it's almost hard to distinguish the Sim from the painting! Well done!!! x
Thank you so much for the reblog, and your kind words, dear!
I did play a lot with this scene. I tried several choices of paintings, and different poses for Alvar, and changed the colors on the wallpaper until it matched and still contrasted with Alvar’s skin.
I’m hardly ever satisfied with lighting in Sims 3, and that the part I try to correct in PS.
I’m so glad you liked the final result, and the one shot I chose to upload from the dozen I made :)
declarations-of-drama replied to your photo “But still, quite accomplished.  As if again turned into thorn flesh,...”
Alvar should also have phantom pains, and boils would come and go to accompany the intrusion of a false support. Also he would probably call it his stump and not his amputated leg (which is by now probably lost, burned or used in medical science).
I did not reflect about this, thinking an amputated leg was both what remained and what was removed... But you are right saying that sometimes the specific word is stump... I’ll have to rewrite this, and pay more attention from now on!
declarations-of-drama replied to your photo “His temples throbbed, too, as if his heart, oscillating between...”
Why do I get the feeling that Alv wants to be one of Tob's patients himself? Was it Tobio who took his leg?
Alvar is one of Tobio’s patients! But no, Tobio did not operate Alvar’s leg -- though that is maybe a good idea...
declarations-of-drama replied to your photoset “There lay a peculiar emptiness to the closet, though. Tobio’s clothes...”
Oh! That explains a lot!
I often hesitate about making longer posts, but sometimes it’s just what it’s needed to get the whole perspective, right?
declarations-of-drama replied to your photo “Alvar walked slowly towards the armchair next to the rack of clothes,...”
Disliking women totally, as in sexually? I often wonder about things like this, such as the levels of bi-sexuality in us and how people must have coped when they were married etc in those days
I will develop this theme in the story, both from Alvar’s and Tobio’s perspectives!
declarations-of-drama replied to your photo “From the beginning of his life – love life, sentimental life, intimate...”
I watched Troy the other night and then spent around 4 hours reading up on Greek Antiquity. It was fascinating! I'm guessing this is what Alvar with his cousin is resonating of a pedarasty relationship? Like was a required part of Greek Noble youth? It was all so fascinating to learn!
Greece was not an united nation back then, so this was mostly and Athenian thing. Pederasty, as I mentioned in this post , was not just acceptable but often a desirable thing as a rite of passage. It usually involved a wider age gap than this existing in the story, with Alvar submitting to Freddie or Tobio, that are not actually old enough to be the erastes. But I’m no expert in such matters and am writing a story, not a treaty. So you are right to mention Troy, a good movie despite all the Hollywoodian peccadilloes and hypocrisy, and the love between Achilles and Patroclus, which was not the same as in pederasty, since they were practically the same age, and not Athenians.
declarations-of-drama replied to your photo “The outbreak of war had interrupted the normal and predictable career...”
A story within a story. This should be interesting! I wonder where Freddy is now? Time for Dinner! These chapters made me HUNGRY!!! lol
This is usually how I write. Stories within stories, and plenty of flashbacks, and flashbacks withing flashbacks... Like in a mosaic, or a kaleidoscope.
Freddie is dead, like it’s been said before.
And I hope you had a good dinner!
tyrellsimsoficeandfire replied to your photo “Not proud.  Not the least, not Alvar.  Not for any past weaknesses,...”
I had the same though when seeing. @andantezen always does amazing artworks.
Thank you dear, it’s always a much needed encouragement to know that!
lifeasasim replied to your photoset “There lay a peculiar emptiness to the closet, though. Tobio’s clothes...”
Look at that room ;_;
Haha, the detail is intended to say things about the characters, that’s why I have troubled myself and gone this far...
lifeasasim replied to your photo “Probably feeling guilty in his irresponsible repose, in dreams – where...”
Gosh, this is so beautiful!
Thank you dear!

Ask the Admins: 11.0
Anon asked: any of you get pranked on 4/1?
Chamomile: I didn’t get pranked, but I work in retail and we all pranked my manager by writing up a whole bunch of fake ‘angry customer’ reports and leaving them in the break room where she could read them. She didn’t know they were fake until she got to the complaint from a nun who was disgruntled because we didn’t carry her favorite vegan chapstick anymore.
M: Nope, and I’m very happy about that - Loot Crate almost fooled me via email, but I was in good shape other than that
Syren: I am disappointed to say that I was not, but to be fair, I spent most of the day at my little half-sister’s 2nd birthday party (yes, my sis was born on April fools, and no, no one believed me when I told them my sister was born. They all thought I was pranking them. Safe to say, her future birthdays will be full of pranks from yours truly).
Jynn: No, but I did prank someone. I work at a school affiliated wellness center as a lifeguard for their pool. Normally on Saturday mornings there's a water aerobics class taught by a peppy lady who stands on the pool deck and does all the exercises while the old ladies do them in the pool. Well she's been gone the past couple weeks, so the gym's floor manager Tim has been teaching it. Now Tim is just the most precious thing. He's the most adorable personal trainer ever. He'll get up there in front of all the elderly people and they'll hoot and whistle and tell him to take his shirt off till he's a blushing mess. So anyways he going through the exercises and get into it and have his workout music playing. It starts to get pretty intense, he's working up a sweat, he's pumped, the old people are pumped, they're feeling the burn… and I go back to the guard room and switch their workout music to Mozart.
Anon asked: What do the admins and assistant admins think about soulmates?
Chamomile: I’m a bit iffy on them? I like the concept, but I like the idea of multiple soulmates and outcomes because the idea of a preset destiny freaks me out.
M: I'd like to think they exist - there's someone for everyone - but I think that probably less than an eighth of a percent of the population actually meet them, if that. They're fun to write about, though.
Syren: In the world of fic, it is my jam. I'm writing a soulmate AU rn, actually. Irl? Nooo thank you. I don't believe in it, and I wouldn't want one anyway. Cause that's creepy.
Jynn: Eh it's a cool thought but? It seems a little bland to juat have like one preset partner you're meant to be with former and ever. I think there can been lots of kinds of soulmates.
@askrileyw asked: How do you feel about fantasy AUs? (bonus: what is your favourite fantasy sub-genre and why?)
Chamomile: I love them! I’m really big into combining bizarre fiction and traditional fantasy settings.
M: They can be loads of fun when done properly! I actually like it when fantasy elements are combined with the modern world - it's totally my aesthetic. Give me CyberKnights fighting mechanical dragons, goddamnit!
Syren: Oooooh boy, fantasy au’s are my jelly. I love dystopian fantasy stuff, with outlawed magic and mages on the run. I love fantastical creatures like elves (especially elves- thank you LotR). I love adventure in fantasy (Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess is my favorite game in the world. I'm planning on writing a Zelda AU soon as well). I freaking love fantasy.
Jynn: I can appreciate fantasy, but I don't seek it out a ton. As for fave genres of fantasy, I'm always a sucker for coming-of-age adventures!
Anon asked: If you could only use one which would you choose? Magic, guns, or blades.
Chamomile: Magic! I can enchant my blades!
M: Magic. C’mon.
Syren: Magic, cause I'm a pacifist and could use it for more non-violent purposes. And it's awesome.
Jynn: Magic.
@genosha-meiuqer asked: If life was like a videogame where you level up by gaining experience points, what level do you think you'd currently be at? Everyone would start off as a noob-born.
Chamomile: 20, going on 21 (why are yall ranking so low omg)
M: Maybe 5. And that's being incredibly generous.
Syren: Like 4 maybe? Assuming it's out of at least 30 possible levels lol
Jynn: 3
Anon asked: Hello, lovelies! I'm making a bet with my partner (gimmemygurryback); prize is home-cooked breakfast in bed. Anyway, this ask involves genosha-meiuqer, but she's not betting! I'm assuming you read the added parts on your posts' reblogs. You know last month's AtA where Gurry and Geno were talking about Geno's stories? Out of all those 57 titles, are there any you found interesting or want to know about? Geno said that you probably couldn't care less, but she doesn't know your personal opinions???
Chamomile: I read all of the post reblogs! Especially ones from genosha and gurry. For the titles, I was immediately partial to all of the ones with auideas’ titles, but the other ones that I really liked were “Pieces of Time”, “Clear and Forever Young When I Close My Eyes”, and “Miss Murder & Mister Brightside”.
M: There were so many to choose from, but I finally settled on “ Docosahexaenoic Acid”, “ Mark His Way to Canaan”, and “Dreams May Not Come True”.
Syren: “Miss Murder and Mister Brightside” “Farmer in Dank Armor” and “Travel In a Pack, Street Rats” sound like stories I would treasure forever tbh
Jynn: Shall We Do The “One, Two”?, Shall We Sing The “Un, Deux”?, and I Will Make Your House Fly Away If You Rick Roll Me Again all sound really interesting!
(side note: here’s the link to all 57 titles, and chamomile told all the admins to pick their top 3 titles because they were all so good)
Anon asked: Do any of the new admins watch anime or read manga?
Chamomile: I used to be really into anime/manga when I was younger, but when I got into junior year (the year I came out and when I joined auideas) I just didn’t have time to keep up with any of it. Now that I’m in my second year of college, I’m super desperate for any cutesy lighthearted form of stress relief, so I’m slowly getting back into anime.
M: I tend to just rewatch the same three animes over and over. It's a bad habit….
Syren: Veeery little. I've watched InuYasha, Fullmetal Alchemist (both series), Ouran High School Host Club, and random eps of random others. And I have maybe a quarter of the FMA manga, but that's about it.
Jynn: Yep! I like my classic shonen anime, but I keep up with a couple of the newer ones. I also own every volume of Yu Yu Hakusho...
@gimmemygurryback asked: Do admins (and now assistants) actually read any of the "followers' works" other than the one about M driving like a war boy?
Chamomile: Y’all have no idea. I read every single fic that came in during our 2016 Auideas Advent Calendar event, and whenever somebody tags us in something they’ve written then I immediately bookmark it to read later. I live off of seeing people get inspired by our aus.
M: YUP!! We have read every single fix submitted during AAC (where do you think the rating system came from??). We love reading everyone’s work and would love to have more.
Syren: I've read a few, but not as many as I wish :(  Time and motivation are fickle lil buggers
Jynn: Yes!!!
Anon asked: Hi! So I recently got into this thing on resistantradio.com, and basically it reminded me of your AU "Rebel Yell"! It's sort of a podcast/radio broadcast that's part of this series, um, The Man In The High Tower, I think, where the year is 1962 and nazi germany/imperial japan have won wwii and split America into two parts, but there's this neutral territory where an American resistance has sprung up, and so these three members are broadcasting in order to get others to rebel!
Chamomile: I’m familiar with Man in the High Tower, and after giving this podcast a listen, I have to say that it’s pretty good! I’m digging it! Currently I’m binging The Adventure Zone and The Hidden Almanac so I’ll bookmark Resistant Radio for later.
M: COOL!!!
Syren: That sounds rad as all get out; maybe I should start listening to podcasts! I never have before.
Jynn: I'm not huge into podcasts atm but that sounds cool!
