ok but i am STOKED for Twilight and Warriors to have a brotherly relationship it is PERFECTION
wait. what if warriors tries to big-brother twilight (Numenorean and therefore a lot older than he looks). That would be HILARIOUS.
Oh, absolutely yes. Twilight is currently 87. I'm going with the canon ages (mostly. I think Four might be younger than book-Frodo. More like movie-Frodo in age. And since Time is a mashup he's a couple millenia younger than actual Gandalf). Meanwhile Wars is like... 40 is the number i'm coming up with? I had them all memorized once upon a time, but it's been a bit. Something like that. But because Numenoreans that's the equivalent of like... middish twenties
But I can see Warriors equating Twilight with his little brother and big-brother him
and Twilight just staring him straight on like "Dude I'm twice your age"

also TP Zelink hc: I am very partial to the marriage of convenience to lovers. Twilight sees that none of Dusk's potential suitors respect her and goes "I'll get engaged to you to get them off your back!" and Dusk goes "awesome let's do it." a couple of months later and they enjoy each other's company so much that they just decide the engagement isn't "of convenience" any more.
so, guilty confession
Marriage of convenience/arranged marriages are my absolute favorite trope.
The absolute top of the list.
And you may have noticed that I am horrendously bad at picking out one single favorite, so that statement means a lot coming from me.
I'm a big believer in 'love is a choice not an emotion', so marriage of convenience/arranged marriages fit well with that. Plus I love the idea of two people stuck in a less than ideal situation--either willingly or unwillingly--growing close and choosing to make the best out of a situation and growing to love each other.
Marriage of conveniences are even better because they usually start out as friends and make the choice themselves, and then its like 'oh no suddenly I'm noticing them more and oh gosh I think I might be catching feelings'. Like YES ! THE GOOD STUFF!
Plus that version also has 'friends to lovers' which is also one of my favorite tropes so it's basically just a heap of awesome as far as I'm concerned.
All that being said, I absolutely adore that headcanon and would 100% read a fic like that. TP Zelink is one of my favorite Zelinks and then pair that with my favorite trope???? YES YES YES PLEASE

anyway Imagine the way Twilight mustve felt when Bill Ferny was badmouthing him at Bree and Sky spins around and hits Ferny square on the nose with an apple. I'd imagine it's been a while since someone stood up for Twilight like that who wasn't one of the Dunedain.
Also holy cow half the words in this look wrong without accent marks (I don't know how to add them with my keyboard D:)
oooooooohhhhh
Oh I hadn't thought of that
I'll have to write that!
The apple is such a Sky thing to do, I love it!

Twilight first met Ezlo in Rivenmere during the events of the hobbit by falling out of a nearby tree while hiding from Elladan and Elrohir.
Incidentally in any universe I'd imagine Twilight was not the sort of child who would cry even if he seriously hurt himself (autistic Twilight? Perhaps!)
HAHAHA YES
OOOOH YES I LOVE THAT
I love fun meetings like that! Forget meet-cute let's have meet-hilarious.
I can see Twilight as a kid might be the kind to do his best not to cry when he gets hurt because he wants to be tough and likes to think he's a big strong warrior like his brothers. I know I was like that when I grew up--I idolized the idea of my viking ancestors and they didn't cry when they got hurt and I wanted to be just as cool, so I tried not to cry either (didn't always succeed but eh). So I can see tiny Twilight breaking a leg and trying to make the best out of the situation by imagining he's a super-cool elven warrior who got wounded in battle, and it's a mere flesh wound.
(to be clear, crying is not a weakness or a fault and is, in fact, often healthy to do. Crying does not make you less tough! As LOTR itself showcases. It's a great book it is)
Autistic Twilight is an interesting concept, but it's not one I think I could write, as I try to avoid writing things I have no good point of reference for. There are a variety of levels of autism after all, and I personally don't feel like I understand autism well enough to do it justice and not flub it. So, in my AU's canon Twilight is not autistic, but if you'd like to add that to something you write, please, be my guest! I'd love to see that <3 I just don't feel I can do it myself.

i actually have a zelda/fullmetal alchemist fusion.
I just got way too engaged with the twilight princess one to do much with the breath of the wild one...
Ooooooh
Oh, that sounds interesting. Do tell!
I did a fma:b/zelda sort of fusion once, in a one-shot. It's a Spirit Tracks FMA Au. I have some ideas for continuations, but I have a lot of projects going on and that one's been tabled for a bit.

Would Skyloft be a rough equivalent to Numenor? since they're both precursors (Numenor for Gondor, Skyloft for Hyrule)... and people left them, though under very different circumstances since Numenor was led astray by Sauron and destroyed by a flood when humans tried to force entry to Valinor (the Sacred Realm probably) and the seas were bent
Huhhhh... hm.
I'd have to think about that! Yes, I'd agree that Valinor is the Sacred Realm.
Honestly, if we take the 'forcing entrance to Valinor' aspect, that makes me sort of connect Numenor to another thing from Zelda lore. A people cast into darkness because they tried to invade the Sacred Realm because of their greed. It's not exact parallel as 'The Twilight Isle' would be destroyed instead of the prison, but still. Plus Midna would be related to the man who founded the kingdom on that island, so that creates a fun parallel.
I'm not sold on this idea, though, and Skyloft is a definite option! I'll do some thinking and sort it out!

THE "I CANT CARRY IT FOR YOU BUT I CAN CARRY YOU" *sobs*
*sobs with you* One of my favorite moments, ever
it's a good thing I'm making Sky a hobbit because this scene would be severely less impactful if Sky and Four were their normal heights

and FOUR AND SKY FRIENDSHIP this fandom needs more appreciation of both
YES
ABSOLUTELY
Sky is one of my favorites and Four is HIGH on that list, and I never see enough of that friendship
I mean, c'mon. Four is Sky's successor! We see everyone else loving on their successors but not Sky? Sky who is doting and softness incarnate??
Let there be more Four and Sky!!

I don't think any of the boys would have beards though. Not even Legend. (No matter how badly he wants one.)
The one constant is that the hero's spirit can not grow facial hair XD
No, they do not. I considered having Twi have a beard, because I think it would fit him... but ultimately I couldn't. No beards, alas.
Legend is absolutely salty about this

I started writing what I'd imagine the scene just after Wind and Hyrule were carried off would be like (where Twilight is trying to save Wars' life) and for some reason decided that Great Fairy Cotera exists somewhere in Mirkwood so Wild has great fairy's tears on him because I imagine regular red potion isn't really a thing here and that's probably way off what you imagined but
anyway, Warriors is having a major self-worth issue and tries to refuse to take the potion. and Twilight. Twilight roasts him.
"Don't worry about Wild, Legend and me. Unlike you, we actually know how to dodge."
Twilight the man is dying and you just insult him like that XD
Ooh
I actually hadn't figured out how Wars survived just yet, but a bottle of Fairy Tears would be a great solution! I agree, red potion is a little too convenient and useful for this universe, but Fairy Tears are rare and mystical enough that I think it'll work very well indeed!
To me that feels like something Twilight might have on hand, though, as he's far more well traveled than Wild and he's the one who gets Fairy Tears in game. (this is just how I think it'll work in my canon, don't feel pressured to change what you want to write, please <3)
And as for the dialogue, absolutely yes that 100% happened I love it

I've been thinking about Twilight and the palantir and how Warriors is probably the only member of the Fellowship apart from Time who understands what that means, that Twilight has the right to use the palantir but also how much of a risk that is
Warriors telling Twilight that he's worried because Warriors doesn't officially know but has heard rumors about the existence of a palantir in Minas Tirith and now that he knows that Sauron (Ganon?) has the other one, well.
Oh, absolutely. He's the only one who would comprehend. I imagine his dad probably mentioned it to Warriors as Wars is 'his perfect heir' (rip Raven), so Wars would know about it, its risks, and that it is, in fact Twilight's birthright.
And yes, Ganon is our Sauron equivalent, and Demise is our Morgoth. So Time's fight in 'Moria (i have a couple ideas but I haven't settled on an equivalent yet)' would be against a Majora of Demise, a demon of the ancient world.

Ok so I know Twilight respects Time a lot (this is for LotR au) and holds him in high regard but. Imagine Time making horrible puns in Quenya and 10-year-old Twilight is like "LADY MALON PLEASE MAKE IT STOP"
it is the power of Dads Everywhere to make their children suffer with terrible puns and Time has to get the Dad Impulses out somehow
OH MY GOSH
YES
YES I LOVE THIS
But yes, Ancient Dad Time puns are definitely a thing. Lady Malon has been married to him for too long and finds them amusing, so poor tiny 10-year-old Twi has few allies. Most of the elves would be too in awe/intimidated by the sheer force of power, legend and respect behind Time to say anything
(the question is whether my Elrond equivalent will be Equally Suffering or joining in on the chaos XD)

The whole thing with summoning the dead king to war is going to be awesome
OOOOH
Oh yes, yes it will!
Ahh, this shall be fun. I don't plan to rewrite the entire trilogy as a longfic, but I have lots of ideas for one shots or short chaptered stories, and this has just made it onto the list.
This shall be fun indeed

Nooooooo
I like being able to sleep without nightmares, I'm afraid. I do not handle horror well, and so I do my best to avoid it.
...unless my brother dares me to play a horror game, but then it's a question of Honor.
