So I think Amy Manford is wearing a remodelled/redecorated bodice from Anna O’Byrne’s west end run.
Both have a white lace around the bodice side of the neckline (which I couldn’t find on any other bodice) and I feel the silver decorations mostly match, including the silver piece on the bottom point.
The pink rosettes and the pink pleated pieces have been redone as they are in a slightly different position and larger.
The neckline looks slightly different but that could be where they have adjusted it for Amy.
I assume Bridget will be wearing her west end bodice/dress and that her and Amy will share the skirt.

Phantom of the opera opening in Sydney Australia from September 2021 featuring Josh Piterman as the Phantom.
“Experience the phenomenon of one of the most successful musicals of all time, when Cameron Mackintosh’s new production of Andrew Lloyd Webber’s legendary show makes its Sydney Opera House debut. Tickets go on sale April 2021 for performances from September. Hit after hit punctuates the thrilling score, from the stunning romance of “Music of the Night”, “Think of Me” and “All I Ask of You” to the splendid “Masquerade” and brilliant title song. Now, you can hear them all in a spectacular new production that has stunned critics across the United Kingdom and North America. It features a brand new scenic design by Paul Brown, lighting design by Tony Award®-winner Paule Constable, new choreography by Scott Ambler and the original, Tony Award-winning costume design by Maria Björnson. Overseen by Cameron Mackintosh & Matthew Bourne, the “simply epic” new staging includes many special effects, from the famous chandelier to the underground lake, and a large cast and orchestra. It’s “bigger and better than ever before” (Yorkshire Post) and “stunning, intense and spectacular” (Sunday Express).”

Just wanted to say how much I appreciate your blog! I recently got around to watching the 25th Anniversary performance of POTO and my god, what a show it was! Ramin and Sierra are my Phantom and Christine. I was initially a bit put off by Hadley's take on Raoul, but your analyses made me reconsider. After hunting down the livestream version (and watching it way too many times), I noticed so many little moments and expressions that HadleyRaoul brings to the table that just add so much to more depth and complexity to the character. The way he just loses it in the Final Lair. Dear god, it makes me weak. I'm due to watch POTO at the Sydney Opera House later this year and I'm both insanely excited and terribly worried that it won't live up to the holy trinity of Sierra/Ramin/Hadley hahaha.
All this to say, thank you for the Hadley content and for being a sanctuary for 25th Anniversary POTO fans!
Your message was the first thing I read this morning, and wow did it set me up for a lovely day. 🥰Thanks for that!

I’ve seen quite a few Phantom/Christine pairs and enjoyed many of them, but still I always come back to Ramin and Sierra as my #1. They’re electric together! Not only do they have unmatched chemistry, but make their roles special and memorable each on their own.
I’m so glad that Ramin and Sierra were chosen for the 25th, though I’m sure many others could have done it well. Ramin and Sierra were an excellent fit, especially when you consider Hadley as their Raoul. I’ll admit I’m chuffed that my analyses helped you to appreciate Hadley’s performance a little more, I’ll sing his praises to anyone who will listen & long after, he’s a damn fine actor (in every sense!) For me, a good Raoul needs to be able to pull off both subtle and big drama, and Hadley fits that bill just right. And it’s quite the accomplishment on its own to not get bulldozed by Rierra, all while not puling too much attention. It’s a balancing act and Hadley’s got the skill for it!

I’m sure that you’ll end up enjoying the cast that you get to see in person! There’s something so special about live theater, even if it’s not perfect there’s a magic to it. And really neat that you’re seeing the show at the Sydney Opera House... I’ll likely only ever see that theater in photos. I’m looking forward to the reopening of POTO on Broadway, I got my tickets for opening night and the night after! Got front row for one of the performances, gonna be right up in Raoul’s business. Whoever that poor actor may be, I’m gonna be 👁👄👁 the whole time, bless him! But yeah, what a wonder it would be to see the dream team of Ramin/Sierra/Hadley together as E/C/R in person... I’ll wish upon a star, maybe it’ll come true!
Thank you so much for stopping by to leave me this wonderful note, I really appreciate it! POTO 25th fans are all around, I assure you! And I’d say we’re pretty cool bunch. 😎😂

POTO Australia
I know that they had said previously that the engagement at the Sydney Opera House would be limited, but I didn’t realize how short it was?
The show runs from September 3 - October 29, 2021. September 3-8 are preview shows, with September 9 being opening night.
It makes me wonder, since it is the Restaged Tour version, if the show may travel to other cities in Australia? It would be a bit of a waste to go through all the trouble of putting on the show for it to only last a short bit, and a shame for Josh to get only another 8 weeks of shows.

Ho hO HO!! Phantom Santa again!~
Sorry for being late to message! Been busy working on special gifts to bring to a certain someone's way <3
Anyway, ooo Holly's Instagram, I might have interacted with her stuff but you might have to remind me who she is so can make sure, lol.
Also, I'm unfamiliar with the AIAOY, what it abbreviated for? I would oh so love to know what it is that you are currently gearing up for!
I also love the regency period! Super fun~
I would have to agree with you about reading often. I find it hard to these days (even though I really want to get back into doing so) But I'm glad you keeping up with something has helped!
As for book recommendations that is a tricky question, lol. I'm more of a fairytale kind of person so most of what I read or try to are centered around that! If you are interested in that kind of genre I'll for sure have a few to recommend! :D
So onto some questions,
I noticed some of your posts~ Do you love theater or musicals more? If so which ones do or have you enjoyed? (POTO I imagine, and I did see Anastasia on you page!)
Hope you are doing well! Don't worry about taking a bit to respond, the holiday season is gearing up so take your time. <3
-Your Secret Santa <3
Wow, I lost track of time + forgot to reply, sorry!
Holly's currently WE alternate christine, and I love her instagram because she just posts so much lmao, truly a blessing (links here, her gantom tiktok has good vibes). and AIAOY - all I ask of you, as a Raoul stan its easily top 3 phantom songs for me :)) Phantom is making its triumphant return to Sydney next year with not one but two productions, one in the Sydney Opera House in their newly renovated theatre which should be absolutely amazing, as well as a production staged on the harbour itself as part of their yearly opera on the harbour series. It's truly spectacular - this year they staged La Traviata and had an enormous chandelier lifted by a crane that Violetta was able to climb into and sing from (a photo, and some more)
100% interested in some fairytale-esque books, I've recently gotten back into retellings of folk tales and mythology after finishing Lore (hunger games meets the greek gods in New York).
I definitely love musicals more, I'm a musician and a byproduct of my years in music classes and theory lessons is that (much like English students who can't help but analyse every piece of media) I love to try and identify what it is that's going on in the score and stuff. While I do enjoy theatre, I'll almost always pick seeing a musical over seeing a play lol. Anastasia is one of my top musical movies, it really has it all! Great score, Anya's dresses, historical setting, enemies to lovers trope. I also used to be obsessed with Beauty and the Beast, mostly for the same reasons as Anastasia lol. Theatre wise, I haven't had much exposure outside of what I've studied at school (predominantly Shakespeare, which I did enjoy for the most part), but now that theatres are opening up again post lockdown I'm trying to find time to go see something!
