Merch alert! These costume prints don’t come up very often on eBay, so I thought I’d share in case anyone has been looking! 👀
(I have this print but this isn’t my listing)

it's more respectful to let phantom stay closed on broadway than to revive a frankenstein version within the next three years as is heavily rumored. if the show was massively losing money, okay close it, i guess that's what needs to happen. but it's so cynical to immediately revive it 2 years later, cutting the orchestra and technical elements to basically nothing, and all of this to skimp the estates of the REAL CREATIVES WHO MADE PHANTOM GREAT aka hal prince, maria bjørnson and gillian lynne. it was the meeting of all these creatives that make the show great, not just alw's score and hart's lyrics, as proven by the fact that the 2004 movie and the majority of non replica productions suck. hundreds of people who lost their jobs to enrich cammack who already has more money than he can spend in a lifetime. i'm gonna assume that maybe a few people would be hired back for a potential revival but the vast majority would not. this is playing games with people's livelihoods and sense of community. next time cammack wants publicly to hug convicted child molester james barbour, can he do in off the edge of a cliff instead of on the red carpet of a show he closed and then will revive for no reason.

Do you know where I could find Maria Bjørnson's Mirror Bride sketch? I swear I have seen it somewhere in the internet but I can't find it.
Come to think of it, I don’t know if I’ve ever actually seen the sketch in full! I don’t have it, but maybe @operafantomet might have a picture of it?

Should I do an in depth review of the cast (including lily as carlotta) would anyone be interested in that? Any answers would be appreciated and anything else anyone would like me to talk about? ❤️
(Also gives me something to do for the next 4 and a half hour train journey back home!)

Do you have photos of Carlotta wearing her countess costume but without her deshabille? Or just the underdress? Thank you!
If you with "deshabillé" mean the dressing gown, the peignoir... I think my main photos is Rosemary Ashe in West End, who can be seen in stays/corset/bodice and petticoat in some photos:
But she also wore the dressing gown - probably the regular look:
Of other photos there is the one of Vera Borisova in Hamburg, in the process of changing from the b/w Managers dress and into the Il Muto costume:
And there's Anne Runolfsson outside The Majestic in a draped version of the Countess skirt, sneakers and polo:
And the Countess costume backstage in Copenhagen 2000:

Do you know if I can find a list of all 200+ POTO costumes designed by Maria Bjørnson somewhere in the internet?
I remember @operafantomet had a really great site that covered pretty much every costume, but I don't know if it's still up. I also don't have the link to it anymore, so I can't put it in a site like Wayback to see if it was archived or something. Besides that, I'm not sure I have seen a full list anywhere. I'm sure one could be made, but it would take some time.
