Ploneour, nous voilà !

Ça commence par un jour de roulage... plus marrant qu'un road bien préparé, jouer à Calimoto sans tricher demande du temps et... un certain sens de l'aventure ;-)

Sur des routes ... en tout genre, les roues tournent, le guidon aussi ! Ne pas se fier aux panneaux surtout. Une impasse ? Pas pour Cali, et oui, ça passe !! Amusant de rouler en tout terrain... sortir du bois... direct sur la grand-route ! On se sent comme un ours égaré, fun !

Il tient ses promesses ce GPS pas comme les autres, ça tourrrrrne ! Tant et si bien que ça rallonge un tantinet le trajet, plus de 5h pour 200 km. J'ai choisi la bonne moto pour ça ! Potpotpot

Après un accueil aux p'tits soins pour ma belle (la réceptionniste est motarde ;-) ), un bon coin dodo pour les 2.

Actually, I started to wonder if Jaffar's flag weren't a bird carrying a ring or torque or crown or wreath instead (now, THAT would actually be a Persian symbol, the Simurgh carrying Farrah, the divine halo of kings), so I went looking for bird heraldry. And the first thing I find is the grouse family instead! Apparently I am a lawyer. I had no idea. Must be the outfits (although the snowgrouse would surely be a priest in white robes instead)?

As miserable as this small town in the middle of the tundra is, I do appreciate the traditional Christmas lights having their priorities straight when it comes to excellent animals worth celebrating.

This is what I got for Christmas: a fragrant me. It’s a wee snowgrouse aromatherapy diffuser kind of thing, meant to be used on the sauna stove. You plop her onto the rocks on top of the stove, put a few drops of an aromatic oil (birch-scented oil in this case; very summery in the midst of winter!) into that little cup on her back and when the stove heats up, she’ll fill the steam room with a pleasant fragrance. Normally, I don’t care for such tat (these sauna fragrance cups have been around for a few decades, the cups coming in various shapes and sizes, from just simple stone cups to these novelty ones) and don’t bring such scents into my sauna, but… THEY MADE ONE IN THE SHAPE OF A SNOWGROUSE. IT IS A POOTLE. And I am cheap for any and all pootle tat. So of course that went on my wish list, and Santa provided. So, there you go. A coy little snowgrouse offering you aromatic pleasures in the bath. Wish you were here to sample her with me!
