Tensions were high between the two gangs, so .... this was most definitely needed. It was a small thing, him and his closest group hanging out at the opposing gang’s club. It was fine. It would be fun. His boys drank, and so did he. He liked drinking, even if it did absolutely nothing to him. His body healed way too quickly for the effects of it to really be able to do anything to him.

All the bodies moving and dancing, having a good time. Even his boys were in on it. He, however, was mostly off to the side, simply drinking and watching everything. He normally would be dancing with them, but not today. He was supposed to be a big head-honcho right now. Might as well look the part, right?

IT WAS A REQUEST SHE WASN’T SURE SHE COULD ENTERTAIN, not when she considered the boring day-to-day life she had, even after the excitement that had been dragged into her life by the four men she had grown to call her friends, a denial of the flutter in her chest when she spoke to any of them. ❝I’m sure there’s a million things you’d rather do than listen to that...❞ Spoken in a soft voice, uncertainty tinting it, the words are a refusal, a clear sign she would rather not recount the events of the day.

There are a thousand things she’d rather do when it comes to him.

❝I’d rather listen to your day, if I’m honest.❞ She was sure Lucien had much more exciting experiences than she did, no matter what she managed to get into whenever she was left alone. ❝All I really did was finish my latest report for Victor & start making a plan for a new show.     REPEATING that phrase was the only means of defending himself, keeping up with standards throughout the passing days. The avatar cared little for the consequences and projected no vocal disapproval...kept matters hushed tight. Like a bird that enclosed itself between its feathered wings, LUCIFER hid himself and displayed a dignified appearance before others. They would witness PRIDE, pride at its glory without any weakness to barely escape. Even at the moments of crashing underneath the surface did the eldest demon pay heed to those throbbing headaches. They twist away the day’s worth of paperwork, enough to be buried and underneath pressure that he couldn’t handle alone. The voice of a familiar angel brought out the faint shiver as this revelation is fresh inside his mind ------ never shall the demon forget and perhaps forgive. Vermilion hues avert away briefly to deny such testimonies, remaining hushed while preaching the undeniable truth. “...” A single touch enact black-feathered wings to sprout and cover around their bodies in a protective shell. The PRIDEFUL demon wouldn’t let anything happen to his beloved sibling, never again to witness those punishments from above. He kept her in secret through her own wishes but a longing heart aches to be wrapped around secure arms once more (especially the twins).

    LUCIFER permits the other’s harmonious words charm him into submission if it means hearing out to those concerns. The last thing the demon wished to do is witness a hurt complexion over her features...yet the agreement wasn’t there. A natural impulse was there, valuing FAMILY ABOVE ALL (above his own existence) and willing to cast away everything for their sake. She was no exception and may PRIDE for once thank a LORD for letting her stand right before the demon. Sighing softly, he could only smile in woe but wrap toned arms around her form. He pulled her close while red-gloved hands stroke those soft locks of hair, being as endearing as their former glory days. “If it means keeping you all protected, our BRETHREN safe, then I will not hesitate to do anything...even if it costs me my own life LILITH. I don’t regret what I have done in order to keep you safe, keep you all safe...soror mea.” My sister...

A flesh wound? Didn’t look like one but Akira wasn’t a doctor and the one he did know was questionable to anyone that didn’t know them. Besides, if someone didn’t want him poking around about what just happened, he could let it slide. Didn’t help that this guy in front of him was about six foot two inches. Maybe that’s why Akira didn’t press further because he only stood about five feet and 8 inches or what people called, short. Although, the guy might not all be that bad because he asked about the injuries Akira had obtained. Which would go away momentarily as he got these from the MetaVerse and not from a mere street fight. But no one knew about that world and thought best not to bring it up anytime soon.

----“I’m fine. Ain’t my first time getting into a fight this size, despite me being tall as a candle”. 

Akira laughs at his own self-deprecating joke, being faced with the fact that he would never get over his own Napoleon complex. But enough about that. His wounds needed to be treated with a DIA spell but mistakenly casts mediaRAN instead of diaRAN. On one hand, he’s healed enough so anything Akira obtained has been swept away but on the other, he hears the tell-tale sign of someone else being in the casting range. He’s just going to ignore that sound for now and prays that this guy doesn’t ask what the hell just happened.

----“Well, um, thanks. Can’t keep my boss since he still thinks I’m some type of delinquent still. Bye”. And with that, he’s on his way, trying not to get chewed out AGAIN.

“Oh there you are, Cu!” Just in the nick of time too. Nix slowly inched away from Merlin and made her way over to the concerned Lancer. “Everything is alright, he was just playing around as usual. So no need to be harsh towards him or anything like that.” Plus there didn’t need to be any fighting today. So it would be best to prevent the situation from growing out of hand.

It was no trouble to take her home, in his opinion, considering he would rather her be safe more than anything & even in her exhausted state, she deemed it fit to deny him a simple privilege. ❝Don’t be an idiot.❞ The words are muttered with a lilt of irritation at her refusal, although there was also a worry hidden behind that tone, threatening to make itself known to the girl.

❝You’re obviously exhausted, there’s no use lying to me.❞ It wasn’t hard to see right through her considering she wasn’t the best at hiding such things, the stutter & the pout made it evident even if the bags under her eyes didn’t. ❝I don’t mind taking you home. I’d rather know you’re safe.❞
