Maple Bourbon Cider - Bucky/Darcy

For: @romanoffsbite Pairing: Bucky Barnes/Darcy Lewis Rating: T Prompt: Maple Bourbon Cider (Lemon Juice, Apple Cider, Bourbon and Maple Syrup)

Darcy yanked the blanket up and over her lower half, wishing she'd just gone and gotten those warm fuzzy socks from her dresser, but it was much Too Cold to go make a dash for them now. If she went into the bedroom, she'd probably just curl up in bed and it wasn't late enough to go to bed yet.

So, she just pulled her legs up further beneath her and tried to find something on Netflix.

Her balled up socks collided with her temple and fell into her lap. She glanced up and laughed at the sight. Her boyfriend was fresh from the shower, wearing a pair of flannel pajama bottoms and shooting her a look from the doorway. "If you're cold, you put on the socks, Darce."

"They were far, though…" she whined, unrolling them and pulling them under the blanket so she could slip them on her feet. "And I'm freezing."

She could hear the smile in Bucky's voice when he spoke. "Gimme a second and I'll come out there and warm you up, doll."

"How are you gonna do that?" Darcy asked, only partly teasing.

"Guess you'll just have to wait and see…"

KLAROWEEN BINGO RESULTS ARE IN!!!

Yes, you heard right. We’ve been busy tallying all the Klaroween Bingo cards (but also distracted by all your awesome goodies a bit too) and we now have our results.

romanoffsbite Is it good?

It’s very quirky, the dialogue is sharp, and one of the characters rifles through his sister’s closet, takes one of her skirts, and wears it around the house because he likes how breezy it is on ‘the bits’. He then knocks over their dad’s urn and spills most of his ashes.

And there’s a 13-year-old kid that’s actually a 58-year-old man trapped in his own barely pubescent body, and the child actor nails it--he’s a complete, crotchety bitch. 

I’ve only watched the first episode so far, but I’m definitely looking forward to more. I say give it a whirl for sure.

“When you said wager, I assumed it was going to be less one sided,” she drawled, taking in her interesting surrounds. Klaus couldn’t help but grin at the raw sass he remembered so well and just how good she looked in mini denim shorts and a sly smile. 

“Everyone likes a bit of karaoke,” he reasoned, gesturing to a nearby booth.

“Yeah, especially a chart topping musician,” she shot back.

“Chart topping? Has someone been researching Klaus Mikaelson?” 

“No, Mister Third Person,” she replied bluntly, taking a seat and gesturing to the waiter for service. “Your sister mentioned it actually, think she’s quite the fan. Not surprising given she’s related and kind of has to like your stuff, or pretend to anyway…”

“Hey, hey,” Freya objected from a neighbouring booth. “I heard that and it’s only like fifty percent true.” Klaus wasn’t surprised, his siblings had this way of pretending not to care in public, even Freya who had joined the family fold late but had picked up on their idiosyncrasies quickly. It was then Klaus knew they were definitely related.

When he’d stumbled upon, not only his sister but the woman he’d been dreaming about for four years at Coachella, he wasn’t quite sure how to approach it. In fact, his response had been erratic and somehow he’d challenged her to a unknown bet in the space of three unexpected and stressful minutes.

Klaus loved a wager, in fact he’d won many over the years against his bandmates but suddenly he felt a little self conscious. Caroline Forbes had that effect on him. To say he’d been following her career closely over the past two years was an understatement. He all but stopped at posting photos because it was both stalkerish and Kol would never let him live it down.

“This isn’t about my stuff,” he implored, hoping that his family hadn’t done too much damage. 

“So what’s the bet, Mikaelson?” Katherine Pierce appeared from out of nowhere. 

“Kat.” Caroline replied. “I know you get bored easily but we’ve made more than a few friends tonight.”

“If you’re talking about the band I’ve already made some predictable judgements,” she offered, taking a seat next to Klaus and startling him somewhat. “Those two are in love with your sisters,” she gestured between Enzo and Lucien. “And don’t get me started on Kol, he needs a leash and that’s only for starters.”

“She’s good,” he offered, shrugging his shoulders and sending Caroline a coy smile. “Do you hire her out for parties?”

“I probably should, god knows it would make us lots of money.”

“I could probably analyse this particular situation unfolding before me but given my precarious position as Caroline’s best friend I’ll pass,” she chirped. “So, what exactly are the stakes?”

“We both perform a confidential song of choice,” Klaus suggested, passing her a scrap of paper. “Best crowd reaction wins. Although given I’m a singer I’m more than happy to...”

“Don’t you dare, Mikaelson,” Caroline shot back. “I don’t take pity.” Klaus was fairly certain he liked her even more at that point. 

“Not gonna lie, you’ve probably bet the most competitive person to a challenge,” Katherine whistled. “Good luck, I only hope the terms aren’t your first born.” 

“I’m game,” he murmured, trying to ignore just how adorable she looked gnawing on her pencil and trying to work out what to write. “I’ll take a date.”

“How extremely predictable,” Caroline scoffed, taking a brief moment to gaze into his blue eyes. 

“And you?” 

“I really need my hedges trimmed,” she smirked, folding the piece of paper over mysteriously. Klaus couldn’t help but feel his erection begin to grow beneath the booth. “And I really hate washing too.”

“Washing,” Klaus coughed, trying to reconcile her terms. 

“Yes, you know domestic chores? Why? Are you afraid to lose?” She sing-songed.  

“I don’t ever lose a bet, love,” Klaus boasted, folding his song choice next to hers. She might of had the upper hand earlier, but he had every intention of  winning no matter the consequences....

Swimming; Bucky/Darcy

for: @romanoffsbite and @itscoffeefordinner Pairing: Bucky Barnes/Darcy Lewis Prompt: Swimming

Bucky dragged his toe in the water, barely skimming the surface of the lake. It was serene out here.  

Or at least it was, until the thudding started.  

It was a long pier, the one he was currently sitting on.  It was long and made entirely from wood.  

And Darcy was currently running down the length of it, barreling towards the water at top speed, her bare feet thudding on the wood as she got closer.

He would have laughed, except she barreled right into him at top speed and they both ended up in the water. If he'd have laughed, he'd have swallowed lake water.

His nose burned as he breached the surface, pushing his wet hair out of his eyes and turning around until he saw her, about ten feet away and swimming for it.  

"You are gonna regret this, Lewis," Bucky called.  

"I doubt it," she replied, still swimming away.  "I did it, I got away with it, and I'm getting away."

"Not for long!" he countered, taking off after her.  

It wasn't too hard to catch up with her.  He did have what she so lovingly referred to as a bionic arm. He also happened to be a very good swimmer.

Bucky wrapped his arms around her, pulling her back against him as Darcy squealed and kicked. "Say you're sorry…" he purred into her ear, his feet touching down on the muddy lake floor.

"Never," she shrieked, splashing him with water in a vain attempt to get away.  

Didn't work. He had her now, he wasn't letting go. He scooped her up in his arms, tilting her back slightly. "Any last words, Lewis?"  

"If I'm going down, I'm taking you with me!" She wrapped both arms around his neck and he couldn't really help it. She was too cute.

"That a promise?" he murmured.  

"That's a guarantee," she said, closing the distance between them. Her lips were warm, her breath hot as it ghosted over his face. Darcy's fingers closed around a handful of his hair and he adjusted his grip on her, holding her close to his body. 

She broke off the kiss and he chased her lips, humming softly as his feet started moving, carrying her out of the water and up towards the cabin.  

And then like... they took a shower before the hanky panky because lake water...

romanoffsbite i love that movie so much!!

It’s on TV and it was already halfway through when Mr. Jenn turned it on, but it’s pretty funny. I’ll have to catch the whole thing. Plus, it has Jeffrey Dean Morgan, Chris Evans, AND Idris Elba, so it’s basically like someone looked at my personal spank bank and decided to make a movie of it.
