''Fuori! Mensile di Liberazione Sessuale''

To start off this blog with style, let's begin with a magazine created by the ''Fuori!'' Association, meaning ''Out!'' [of the closet], also known as ''F.U.O.R.I.'' Association, the acronym for ''Fronte Unitario Omosessuale Rivoluzionario Italiano'' (Italian United Homosexual Revolutionary Front).

This association followed Marxist beliefs, and was active in the 70s, being one of the first groups fighting for the rights of homosexuals in Italy (here ''homosexual'' is used as an umbrella term).

This group was active from 1971 to 1982 and published a magazine with the same name during its life.

Initially, the magazine was supposed to be published once a month, but due to financial problems, it soon started publishing once every three months and by the end of its life, it was published irregularly.

In ten years, there were 32 issues published.

Here's the link to all of them. This old site, omofonie, that's now recorded in the Wayback Machine, did what this blog is doing right now: collects and records Italian queer history. There are also some sources in English, French, and German, on the ''link'' page.

Here's the translation of the cover and the first page of the first issue.

Issue n.1 - June 1972

Aside from what I've already translated, the text under ''giu '72'' says ''monthly magazine for sexual liberation.'' Also, this magazine costed 400 lire, Italy's currency before the euro, which would be about 20 cents nowadays.

Unfortunately, the text is printed in a very, very tiny font, so it's really difficult to post it in a way that makes it readable. I suggest going to the Wayback machine link if you want to read it properly.

This is the page that talks about ''Homosexuality and Liberation'' as the text in the middle of the page says. Honestly, I have no idea what the little illustration is supposed to be.

Here's the translation of this whole article:

Coming out, for a homosexual, can be everything or nothing, the action that makes one's history or cancels it.

The ''enfant gatè''[1] of literature, the well-awarded director[2], the interior decorator who's absolutely ''in'', they've all come out.

One is still desperately searching for his ''innocence'', he asks for it, he wants it back, he announces it.

Another one shoots fireworks and graciously winks: such a bad girl, but so good[3]!

Another one has a tendency for socio-cultural mediation: the tragedy of the immigrant, the decadent symbolism, the undoing of the bourgeoisie: in any case, any deviation will be met with death.

The crowd cheers, they're all very reassured: beyond that, there's emptiness. The madame, pleased and reassured, chirps: ''This director is so subversive!''[4]

And they, ''out''side only live in their lethal role.

THE ROLE: The father, the mother, the son, the professor, the student, the manual laborer, the office employee, the artist, the beautiful, the ugly, the competent, the incompetent.

Three roles for you, five for me, only one for the homosexual: the homosexual, precisely.

The role upsets you, chokes you, you feel it, you want to get out of it.

But then the other role comes in, the one given to you as gratification. The assembly line worker, the production line worker, he understands he can't take it anymore, he wants to explode.

But, once he's home, he's FATHER: ''Whoever has the responsibility of a family can't tolerate disorder!"

And then the mother, more and more desperately mother so the oppressed female[5] that's underneath her, won't understand her situation, won't rebel, she'll ask for a nice Communion for her daughter, a new backpack, plasmon cookies instead.

Everything for her son, everything, and the best of everything.

So then the FATHER - who can doubt that the father is a man? - starts to doubt the validity of his last strike! What a beautiful Communion, though[6].

But not the homosexual, he doesn't have any gratification roles: he's just homosexual.

The professor is competent, always. But the homosexual professor grooms children.

The labels that others have absorb everything else [about them], but whatever role the homosexual has is absorbed by his homosexuality.

The famous homosexual can be just that, so long as he hides, masks himself, and apologizes for his homosexuality. The label wins again.

The lack of gratification roles for homosexuals is only condemnation for those who, like everyone else, are searching for a decent place in a society that gives away dignity but also appropriates itself of any vital space in exchange, they're giving up on their life.

These people want to be accepted, and they don't know that acceptance is offered to them. In some countries, they get married too. They haven't understood that it's in the logic of the capital to absorb people and give back automatons.

You, homosexual, also want to be a man? You can't: be a spouse! You'll have your little gratification in dignity and a clear role, all to the advantage of the bossman: now you'll be able to produce and consume in peace, like everyone else.

In the capitals of the north, capitals of wellbeing, of so-called sexual freedom, the condition of free homosexuals is frightening: they've been accepted at the precise conditions of the capital and, is there even any need to say it, it's at [the capital's] advantage only.

Yes, because conditional acceptance is also in the capital's logic. Whoever wants to rule needs servants, and acceptance is exchanged with servitude.

This shameful pact was proposed to the [N-word][7] of America, But now they've understood it, and the Black Panthers are choking the presumptuous white man with it.

THE KULTURE[8] today offers mediation to the homosexual. The enlightened culture, of course. But what meaning does this mediation have? What is the cultural mediation of homosexuality?

It's acceptance again, through the ability to retrieve the homosexual phenomenon, through its pre-established mental order: it's the tale of what doesn't belong to it, the analysis that hasn't been pushed by one's own motivations and prevents others from participating. So, the data must be manipulated, considered, studied, and always manipulated.[9]

And it cannot be otherwise: whoever has vital urges but asks others, the ''competent ones'' for a solution, confesses their fear and implicitly accepts their condition of inferiority.

Not only does that not solve the problem, but it sinks it.

When consumption became necessary to capitalism, the mine was already there: it just needed to make use of it, making sure to keep the vein intact.

And so the banquet started over the body of women, that centuries-old patriarchy had eliminated and, having overcome a few taboos promptly replaced by the ''morals'' of production, and then moved on to an even more mortified body: that of the homosexual.

Both of them have been used to considering themselves object-holes for centuries, so they're both ready and subservient, these allies-slaves of production offer their own enslavement to anyone.

From the pages of a fashion magazine, the homosexual winks at his crotch in his extra-tight pants, and the woman offers her entire body. Everyone will have ''beer'' as sex[12].

But the woman and the homosexual will also receive the contempt that comes with the anger of deceit, they'll be the on the receiving end of other's self-contempt.

The process is actually way more subtle than what it would appear from a commodifying advertisement.[12] With the help of the western churches' negation of corporality, the bourgeois morality managed to stick even where the re-discovery of the body as liberation should have been one of the basic factors of the revolutionary process.

Because behind the screen of the clamored ''priorities'', of the action intended as a necessary but PAINFUL process, of the inane effort of cultural endorsement to action, how is it possible to not see the FEAR or liberation, which is the bourgeoise fear of the exchange between life and object?

The revolution is JOY and it is so in the moment in which, overcoming all the barriers of a non-vital condition, it becomes LIBERATION.

Homosexuality, when it becomes conscious of its existence as an aberrant product of a society of production only[13], jumps over the far-too-easy demagogy of a class problem, in which static is only the refusal to abandon the OBJECT.

And it puts itself at the center of a dynamic process, where its means is the breakdown of the capitalistic-bourgeoisie structures, and at its end is the recovery of PERSONHOOD[14].

Because the homosexual, who doesn't have any gratifying roles to cling to hide his desperation, who doesn't have a culture to propose unrealistic ideals to and to whom the condition of object, hidden to others, appears in all its brutal evidence, can't not unmask any and all attempts to exploit us, from whichever side it might come.

The homosexuals of FUORI! have come out with the conscience of their homosexuality. But with the will to push their condition to the highest consequence, the revolution, and with the certainty that their revolution is LIBERATION!

Cosa dice l'esperto «Se Chiara Ferragni pensa che il suo percorso professionale sia ancora solido e punta a tutelare i suoi interessi economici e la sua reputazione, sarà costretta a riprendere in tempi stretti quella narrazione condivisa, pur adattandola ai cambiamenti imposti dal caso della beneficienza», dice Giordano all'Adnkronos. Eppure la perdita dei follower Instagram finora è minima, circa 515 mila su un totale di 29 milioni. «Ma questo defollowing ha già prodotto due conseguenze immediate: la prima è percettiva, perché ha instillato nel pubblico digitale la convinzione che l’abbandono è più che altro una scelta punitiva nei confronti di chi ha tradito, per interesse personale, quei valori morali che il fandom considera come un vincolo sacro», precisa Giordano. L'analisi dei follower «La seconda è invece molto più sostanziale, intanto perché i follower si contano, ma soprattutto si pesano e in questa differenza non è dato conoscere il profilo di chi ha abbandonato l’account di Ferragni. Non sappiamo cioè, se erano follower che interagivano attivamente con i post, quanto fosse estesa la loro rete e soprattutto quale fosse la loro credibilità nelle rispettive comunità digitali», conclude Giordano. Meno contenuti Dal report si capisce poi un'altra cosa: la riduzione drastica e prolungata di contenuti pubblicati produce una distorsione delle abitudini dei follower. Il minor successo dell'account, decretato dalla quantità delle interazioni raccolte, spinge l’algoritmo a penalizzare la portata dei contenuti rispetto ai seguaci, in quanto interpreta questa riduzione di interazioni come un evidente segnale della scarsa attrattività del contenuto. Diamo un po' di numeri. Il profilo Instagram di Chiara Ferragni è passato da 72 contenuti pubblicati nel mese di maggio 2023 agli otto del gennaio 2024. Marzo non sembra invertire la rotta: a oggi i post sono solo quattro. L'engagement Ma è sulla percentuale di engagement, vera metrica del successo di una social star, che i dati sono impietosi. Si passa dal 5,8% del febbraio 2023, mese spinto dalla partecipazione di Ferragni al Festival di Sanremo, allo 0,18% di questo mese. Sulle reaction totali il discorso non cambia. Il Festival aveva portato quasi 47 milioni di like e commenti, a gennaio 2024 erano calati del 90%: 4,9 milioni. Pesa il fatto che Ferragni abbia chiuso i commenti sotto i suoi post, limitandoli solo alle persone da lei seguite, per fermare lo tsunami di voci negative che si affollavano sul suo profilo. Il profilo Tiktok Si chiude con TikTok: da quasi sei milioni di reaction a settembre 2023, con una percentuale di engagement del 3,1%, si passa ai rispettivi 88mila e 0,045% di gennaio 2024. Un abisso. Ecco perché Chiara Ferragni, spiega Arcadia, è quasi obbligata, se pensa ancora di investire con il suo brand nella content economy, ad accantonare in tempi brevi la strategia del silenzio. Ci riuscirà? Pesa sicuramente il suo umore. Ma il business è un'altra cosa.

PARIS-NICE-ROME 1959: DE LA VILLE LUMIÈRE À LA VILLE ÉTERNELLE

L’arrivée sur la Promenade des Anglais le 10 mars prochain envoie une invitation au mois de juillet, lorsque l’arrivée finale du Tour de France sera jugée pour la première fois loin de Paris, sur la place Masséna de Nice. source : ASO Organisation

Les archives de la Course au soleil révèlent un autre point commun avec le parcours de la Grande Boucle 2024, puisque sa 17e édition emmenait le peloton depuis Paris jusqu’à Rome, en passant par Nice mais aussi Florence. En ce début de saison 1959, la « Course des deux capitales » a donné lieu à un duel avorté entre Jacques Anquetil et Roger Rivière, à la révélation d’une jeune garde avec les deux vainqueurs (oui, oui!) Jean Graczyk et Gérard Saint et à de spectaculaires coups manqués comme la frustrante déconvenue de Gastone Nencini, chez lui dans la capitale toscane. Récit en quatre épisodes d’une aventure franco-italienne mouvementée… et unique.

ÉPISODE 3: RIEN N’EST JOUÉ EN ITALIE

. La jeune garde aux commandes La Course au soleil franchit pour la première fois une frontière, dans l’étape Menton-Vintimile, alors que Jean Graczyk porte le maillot blanc de leader.

C’est maintenant lui qui porte les espoirs de la formation Helyett-Leroux, du haut de ses 25 ans. Mais « Popof », comme on le surnomme dans le peloton et dans la presse, s’apprête à encaisser les coups que lui promet le clan d’en face, celui des Rapha-Géminiani, par deux gamins encore plus jeunes que lui. Roger Rivière et Gérard Saint, tous deux âgés de 23 ans, mènent une offensive sérieuse dans la montée de la Turbie.

Excellents grimpeurs, probablement les plus en forme du moment quand la route s’élève, ils parviennent à éloigner Graczyk, à qui il reste tout de même à l’arrivée une belle avance après avoir cédé une grosse minute. Dans cette courte étape (72 km) à très haute intensité, « les battus de Nice furent les vainqueurs de Vintimile » comme l’écrit Jacques Marchand de L’Equipe dans un encadré intitulé « La revanche du Saint ». Ce jour-là, le Normand relance en effet ses chances de victoire. Le match est lancé entre les jeunes loups.

Bobet bouge encore

Louison Bobet retrouve des couleurs, il se montre à nouveau capable de peser sur la course. ©PresseSports À ce stade de sa carrière, Louison Bobet a déjà acquis le statut de légende du sport français. Si ses premiers exploits datent de 1951, année où il s’impose à la fois sur Milan-Sanremo et le Tour de Lombardie, il réalise son grand chef d’œuvre sur les étés 1953, 54 et 55, en devenant le premier vainqueur de trois Tours de France consécutifs. Le Normand a quelques bonnes habitudes sur la Course au soleil, qu’il a accrochée à son palmarès en 1952 et où il a levé les bras sur 7 étapes au total. Mais à près de 34 ans, il ne fait plus partie des favoris les plus évidents. L’impression se confirme en première semaine, Bobet évoluant en léger retrait par rapport à Anquetil, Rivière ou Saint. Mais dans l’étape de Vintimile, il se montre offensif dès le début et suit le mouvement lancé par les deux derniers nommés dans la montée de la Turbie. C’est avec eux qu’il atteint la première arrivée italienne et bien que battu dans l’ordre par Saint et Rivière, sa troisième place a fait forte impression, dans le peloton et chez les journalistes L’Equipe. Le lendemain, Jacques Augendre titre son papier « Louison Bobet a rajeuni de cinq ans… ».

Anglade s’invite dans le match

Henri Anglade sent qu’il a un gros coup à jouer dans l’échappée de l’étape Vintimille-Chiavari. ©PresseSports S’il a ponctuellement montré de belles choses sur ses deux premiers Tours de France en 1957 et 1958, Henri Anglade n’a pas encore la faveur des pronostics en abordant Paris-Nice-Rome. Toutefois, le Lyonnais est encore dans le coup au moment d’attaquer l’étape de Chiavari. Sur les routes où il conserve quelques bons souvenirs de son récent de voyage de noces, il est l’un des artisans majeurs de l’échappée du jour et surtout le mieux classé au général parmi ces neuf coureurs de tête. Derrière eux, les acteurs du général se lancent dans un harcèlement systématique du maillot blanc, Jean Graczyk. La bataille en règle empêche les attaquants de prendre réellement le large, mais Anglade se retrouve en position de prendre la tête du classement général… jusque dans les derniers kilomètres. Sur la ligne d’arrivée, le verdict est amer : il échoue pour neuf secondes dans sa tentative de prise de pouvoir. Deuxième de la hiérarchie, Anglade tient manifestement la forme, mais aura du mal à réitérer une opération du même ordre sur les trois étapes restant à courir.

Sanremo Rally Storico 2023

Sarà un weekend unico quello del 38° Sanremo Rally Storico, che è pronto a calcare le strade panoramiche della Riviera Ligure con i principali interpreti del Campionato Italiano Rally Auto Storiche 2023, giunto al suo epilogo stagionale, e del FIA European Historic Rally Championship di cui è il penultimo appuntamento. E saranno dodici le nazioni rappresentate nella due giorni sanremese, organizzata da Automobile Club Ponente Ligure con il patrocinio della Regione Liguria, della Provincia di Imperia e del Comune di Sanremo, che vedrà in scena undici prove speciali spalmati su 133,32 chilometri complessivi da percorrere tra le giornate di sabato 7 e domenica 8 ottobre. Gli equipaggi che prenderanno parte alla kermesse della capitale della Riviera dei Fiori saranno 72, di cui 46 in corsa per l’Italia, con 12 nazioni rappresentate, e pronti a sfidarsi nelle due tappe in programma, al termine delle quali verranno assegnati i rispettivi titoli tricolore. Sono diversi i protagonisti tra le fila del 4°Raggruppamento, titolo tricolore che è già andato matematicamente a Matteo Luise dopo il risultato raggiunto al RallyeElba Storico al volante della Fiat Ritmo 130 Abarth condivisa con Melissa Ferro, che però sarà assente sulle strade sanremesi. Tra i nomi spicca Valter Pierangioli, che a Sanremo sarà nuovamente affiancato da Arianna Ravano su Ford Sierra Cosworth 4X4, mentre Riccardo Mariotti e Sandro Sanesi saranno in corsa sulla Ford Sierra RS Cosworth. Si definirà a Sanremo anche il 3°Raggruppamento, attualmente condotto da Natale Mannino, che proverà ad affermarsi al vertice della classifica al volante della Porsche 911 SC con Giacomo Giannone alle note. A fare da apripista del 2°Raggruppamento sarà Lucio Da Zanche, vincitore assoluto del penultimo round della serie al Rally Elba Storico, a caccia del suo terzo sigillo stagionale sulle strade del ponente ligure navigato da Daniele De Luis su Porsche 911 Carrera RS, con cui andranno in scena anche Paolo Pasutti affiancato da Giovanni Battista Campeis, equipaggio che competerà per il FIA European Rally Championship nella Category 2, e Nicola Salin in coppia con Paolo Protta. Una sfida che si deciderà all’ultimo metro quella del 1°Raggruppamento con Antonio Parisi e Giuliano Palmieri, entrambi in corsa su Porsche 911 S. L’ultimo appuntamento del tricolore riservato alle regine del passato inizierà ad animarsi con lo shake down che scatterà alle 16.30 di venerdì 6 ottobre in località San Romolo. Si entrerà nel vivo della competizione sabato 7 ottobre, con la partenza allestita in Corso Imperatrice a Sanremo programmata per le 11. Da qui, i principali protagonisti del tricolore e della serie europea si dirigeranno verso i primi 7,76 chilometri cronometrati della PS1 S. Bartolomeo – Bivio Calderara (PS1 – 12.33; PS4 – 17.07), per poi proseguire lungo i passaggi della Cavaronica – San Bernardo (PS2 – 13.21), Colle d’Oggia (PS3 – 13.44) e San Bernardo (PS5 – 17.55), prima dell’entrata in Parco Assistenza che andrà a concludere la prima tappa della gara. Domenica 8 ottobre, le sfide proseguiranno con gli altri sei tratti competitivi di Langan (PS6 – 10.48; PS10 – 15.20), Semoig (PS7 – 11.51), Bignone (PS8 – 12.12), Coldirodi (PS9 – 12.37) e Bajardo (PS11 – 16.28) mentre l’arrivo finale è previsto per le 17.35 in Corso Imperatrice a Sanremo. Lo scorso anno sono stati l'unico big in gara ad avere, alla conduzione, il maestro Beppe Vessicchio con cui hanno portato nei teatri il tour "In orchestra di e con Beppe Vessicchio" incontrando, per la prima volta, la musica classica in un inedito viaggio musicale. Nella serata dedicata alle cover durante la 73esima edizione del Festival di Sanremo, i Modà e Le Vibrazioni si sono esibiti insieme in una inedita versione orchestrale di "Vieni da me", brano pubblicato nel 2003 dalla band capitanata da Francesco Sarcina e diventato in breve tempo un vero e proprio classico della musica italiana. gIANMARIA è il cantautore vicentino rivelazione dell'edizione 2021 di X Factor, si è distinto nel Trento: al via il Trentino Love Fest con la prima serata di tre emozionando i giudici con gli inediti "I suicidi" e "Senza Saliva" - entrambi contenuti in "Fallirò", l'EP di debutto uscito per Epic/Sony Music lo scorso anno. Dopo essersi guadagnato un posto tra i Big di Sanremo 2023 vincendo la categoria giovani con il brano "La Città Che Odi", gIANMARIA ha partecipato alla 72° edizione del festival della canzone italiana con il brano "Mostro" (certificato disco d'oro) pubblicando l'omonimo album il 3 febbraio 2023. Secondo album in studio, "Mostro" è un disco pop con testi che vanno a pescare nelle due anime di gIANMARIA, quella folle e indecifrabile e quella sensibile ed empatica. Ad aprile gIANMARIA è uscito con "Disco Dance feat. Francesca Michielin" (Epic Records / Sony Music Italy), il nuovo singolo che, insieme alla cantautrice e polistrumentista veneta, descrive il disagio di una ragazza che sente di non aver trovato il suo posto nel mondo. E poi ancora Tredici Pietro (figlio di Gianni, quel Gianni Morandi) e Lil Busso volti rivelazione della scena rap bolognese, tra i più interessanti del panorama italiano. Dopo aver portato a Bologna, loro città d'origine, un modo totalmente nuovo di fare rap ispirandosi alla scena statunitense degli anni Dieci, hanno pubblicato "Lovesick" (Epic Records/Sony Music Italy), il loro joint album. Così Tredici Pietro e Lil Busso descrivono il loro nuovo joint album: "Il disco si chiama LOVESICK, una vera e propria analisi della nostra emotività, che molto spesso facciamo fatica a gestire. Quando abbiamo messo su il progetto ci trovavamo entrambi a dover affrontare situazioni sentimentali complicate, sicuramente diverse tra loro, ma che ci hanno permesso di raccontarci e di esprimerci, ritrovandoci l'uno nella scrittura dell'altro". I Rebel Rootz giocano in casa. Trentini doc, sono protagonisti del panorama musicale trentino e non solo da diverso tempo. I Rebel sono una band di ispirazione reggae, nata a Trento nel febbraio 2010. Il loro sound nasce dall'incontro di personalità diverse, motivo alla base della contaminazione sonora che li contraddistingue. Il grande impatto musicale e la naturale capacità di coinvolgere il pubblico, rende questa band unica, energica e solare. I Rebel Rootz sono: Massimo Fontanari (voce e chitarra), Carlo Villotti (chitarra e cori), Francesco Dallago (basso), Pietro Toniolli (tastiere), Loris Dallago (batteria). Nel 2020 si sono aggiudicati la terza edizione del progetto Road to main stage by Firestone, il talent show lanciato da Firestone. Più di 8000 persone hanno votato per dichiararli vincitori assoluti del contest. Nel 2022 esce il singolo "Ricchi dentro ",nato grazie alla collaborazione con Orange studio di Alberto Rappetti ,brano che per qualche settimana è entrato nei primi dieci della classifica airplay . A giugno 2023 esce invece "Marrakech" ,un brano dalle sonorità reggae ma contaminato da un sound Urban, firmato dalla collaborazione con Ciro Princevibe, produttore reggae numero uno in Italia .
