good day! congrats on the milestone! i’ve been a lurker on your account for a few months now and you definitely deserve it!

i’m here to request a matchup for lovebrush chronicles, i just got into it recently and i’m hooked.

starting off, i’m 19, an infp, and a libra. i’m also asian so i have the typical black hair and eyes combo, i’m around the shorter side though at 5’1”. i’ll try not to put too much info 🙇

i’m the kind of person that is quiet at first until i get comfortable, but it typically depends on my mood. i prefer to hang out with people with the same interests, because i find it hard to socialize in general, things are just easier when it’s online. i was one of the “weird kids” growing up. extremely lazy with academics, but still ends up as an honor student due to expectations. i’m kind of a perfectionist? i’m a cat person, however, i want to have a pet snake in the future. i love reading, writing, and listening to music! i guess, to make things shorter, my biggest kin is hajime hinata… so…

my ideal date has always been going to somewhere fun like an amusement park, but i’d love dates at a cafe/bookstore as well :)

"I... I got this." He mumbles, trying again, pushing himself off the railing and into your arms, holding your elbows as you guide him through the crowd, eventually letting go as Alkaid chases you on the ice.

You stick your tongue out as he races after you, blades scratching the ice as you swerve and stop before you hit the side, Alkaid's hands caging you into the wall, lips curled upward cheekily as you smile and shrug.

The Ledge #568: New Releases (Pt. 2)

After last week's special Record Store Day edition of the monthly "new release" show, we're back this week with the more traditional type of broadcast devoted to brand new tunes. And, like usual, we're all over the place when it comes to genres. There's some great power pop. There's a little bit of punk. A tad here and there of garage rock. And, yes, there's some Americana.

But it's not just the varied genres of the show. It's the fact that this music comes from all over the world. From Australia to Germany to Canada to even my little city of Sioux Falls, SD. Yes, the first set of the show is devoted to a trio of great local bands - The Rose Quarter, Thought Patrol, and Off Contact - all of whom have wonderful records that are eithier already out or about to be released.

As for the "52 Weeks of Teenage Kicks", I have a cover that's almost 40 years old but is still technically a new release. The version by Dawn Chorus & The Blue Tits initially came out on Stiff Records in 1985, but it has also now been included in a brand new collection of female power pop. She's Got The Power! Female Power Pop, Punk & Garage not only includes this track but tunes by Blondie, The Dollyrots, Baby Shakes, Amy Rigby, Lydia Loveless, Shonen Knife, and many more!

And, of course, I have to once again beg y'all for brand new covers of this classic tune. Please, please, please, if you have the capabilities, or know any artists that would be perfect to remake "Teenage Kicks", send them my way! Next week, I will be world premiering a brand new submissions that I'm sure you're all going to love!

nah but he was raised in a v big italian home like it’s a v big big home. round up the baudo children is there four or twelve of eight of them ? ma and paps sure can’t keep count.

there’s actually six of them total. charlie is the second youngest. otherwise it’s three older sisters, a younger sister and a younger brother.

guess he kinda got middle child syndrome tho ?? bby cakes got ignored a lot as a kid it wasn’t a fun time for him. which started for a lot of issues which he would only come to find out abt later.

so in summary, charlie was a quiet boy who read a lot of books and never really felt he fit in with his family (shocking twist he’s very gay and that probably was a part of it), and school was okay. like charlie just kinda coasted for a long time.

oh !! his parents own an italian restaurant so u bet ur little butt charlie and the rest of his kin was caught working hours and hours on end at that place. if u could walk u could be a bus boy.

but fast forward to high school, charlie rlly bloomed. and by bloomed i mean he fell in love, which is all that matters in high school, right??

his name was teddy and he was a basketball and football player. he was tall and lean and showed charlie love and attention that he never really got and they were sneaking around to have their blissful love n it was all great.

which lasted like eight months until teddy got tired of hiding and couldn’t face coming out so he just broken it off with charlie and that devastated him.

so much so that he had a v public outburst at school at teddy, outing the both of them while hysterically crying, and as all tragic cliche stories go, charlie backed himself up to fall down the stairs. he got a concussion and a broken arm but most importantly it brought attention to the fact that he needed Help.

he came out to his parents, which was underwhelming. charlie just wanted something from them but they just sort of passed it off like it didn’t matter. maybe to some that’s alright, but charlie wanted support and their undying love.

the solution? right at the end of freshman year he was flown out to california to live with his aunt, where he’d go to therapy and a much nicer school, surrounded by people who were similar to himself.

charlie thrived and california was the best, but big ole bummer, senior year his parents forced him to move home, saying that he had “had enough time to get better and it was time to be with his family” which char just took as them needing the handy work at the restaurant.

so senior year, he had made some friends, who occupied his time very well. and maybe, possibly, he was madly in love with one of them to proclaimed he was a sculptor and he usually fought everyone and was generally terrible and yet charlie liked him. it was bad news bears all around.

but friends alone, charlie had a hard time with his parents, and he didn’t exactly feel that being an adult was going to keep them out of his grasp (i mean his sister got stuck there for years. he didn’t want that)

so he went to school in san diego !!! which was great !!! until it wasn’t !!! listen guys this boy has moved a lot i don’t think he’s been in one place longer than two years since he was 14 it’s p yikes !!!!

so after he got over sd, he came to san fran to transfer his credits to a knew school !!! and look where he is !!! reading books on his breaks serving dinners and playing video games while loving sushi. so he’ll tell u he moved bc of school but i mean,,,, the clay boy is here and he’s missed him v much let’s not pretend school is the /only/ reason for leaving.

he’s a real treat i promise.

he’s also trying to become an elementary school teacher, so wow !!

just come plot w him he’s a mess but a sweet mess. he’s also kind of a bitch but we don’t need to get into that Now.

Frisk Canon Call!

I’m kin with Frisk from Undertale ! I have a non AU timeline, and an AU timeline, so I’ll post both here !!

(Note: In both timelines I was a child!)

Undertale Timeline (Notes: I haven’t found anyone that I know of!) -They/Them -Pacifist TL/true-ending TL -Most of my memories are different after game ends! -A few monsters stayed underground for a while still just cause that was the life they were used to! -That included Sans and Paps, and I lived with them for a little bit! -Eventually Mettaton nagged us enough to move up to the surface with him! -By then he was an absolute sensation, and he had a BIG loft?? one of those fancy apartments that’s like a whole house -We lived in the loft under his! He had a lot for many monsters in that building actually!! -I had sleepovers a lot! Mostly with metta and blook, alphys and undyne, or toriel! -Chara became part of me, so uh. Headspace I can’t remember much except for our rooms! -Theirs looked like their room from the game, and mine was similar but with a lot of purple and blue stuff and stars n stuff -(PTA Sans is canon sd;lkafjd)

Flowerswap Timeline (Notes: I haven’t found anyone that I know of!) -They/them -I wasn’t a pacifist for the first few runs, I was very scared and regret ever killing people when Chara warned me not to. -I died a lot which is why I didn’t stop fighting back/ killing back for a while? I didn’t think I had any other choice. -Chara finally convinced me to stop attacking though, so I died a lot more after that. But eventually there was a happy end! -Chara and I weren't Totally swapped! -Chara was more like canon Frisk but still talkative and sassy, grew up with asriel instead of me, all that jazz. -And I was still similar to canon Frisk, no talking n such. -They were still the kid that died, and I was still the one that fell, we were just a little different. -They tried to be a voice of reason with me? But they got fed up with me a lot. -Chara followed me more like a ghost in this TL -Chara ghost had like, a few flowers, compared to me just being decked out in flower face
