Can we discuss the vulnerability in Patty’s “What” when Allison is like “You-“ and then stopped just….I don’t know omg just it was so soft and silent and wanting yet wondering just omg.

That was genuinely the first time in the scene where I was like, wait. Because until then, yes, the "You've raised me from the dead" line was amazing, but it could still be considered part of the life-changing friendship they seemed to be setting up, along with "if this is you broken...stay broken".

But that step closer from Patty and the "What?" changed all that, it created this air of expectation, at least on Patty's end, of something else. She was waiting for Allison to say something that went beyond the already too-close-at-times friendship and co-conspirators relationship they'd built and even if she didn't get it (then), the fact that the expectation is canon and explicit now means the show's moved to another level for their relationship. Both are aware of where that fight almost went. And where, at least on Patty's end, she wanted it to go.

i was wondering if you could tell whether or not sol actually took jiwan's hand after she asked in ep7 because her arm looks like it moves but then the next shot of jiwan pulling herself up looks like they weren't. i don't know why i'm losing my mind over this detail haha.

Oh, I don't think she does? I feel like we'd get much more focus if she did. In the next shot you can see Ji-wan pull back the offered hand and then use it to push herself off the floor to sit up.

Sol not taking her hand was the reason she sat up, she perceived it as a rejection and in her drunken state put 2 + 2 together and got 5 and was like, is it because you like these other guys? Let me sit up and get close to make my case because I don't like that, please just like me.

Well, right, but that's just the English translation, not the original phrasing. And the actual English is "Stop making me get my hopes up." A bit awkward and unusual but probably more literal and accurate, being slightly different from "Stop getting my hopes up."

Changing the "Stop" to "Don't" in the actual translated version would be difficult and even if they could think of a way, it'd probably be even more awkward. There's also the possibility that she's referring to the whole day and even last week, where Ji-wan's jealousy has clearly manifested, as well as whatever was happening on the Ferris wheel. However Sol is interpreting it, something in their dynamic has changed, and this could be the culmination of it all and yet still be the first time she's actually gotten a drunken confession/hint.

I'm not saying this IS the first time, just that it could be, that the phrasing doesn't really hint at anything either way.

Do you know where to get Patty and Allison scenes from Kevin Can Fuck Himself?

Hmm, I can't find anything but I'm also not sure how that list would be made? You can't really ignore the parts that don't have both, those scenes are still relevant to each of them individually and their combined dynamic, how it contrasts with them with other people. They were always pretty central but the last couple of eps really emphasized their relationship.
