I've been getting a bit septicidal and nervous of the people who spam liking or reblogging my content. It's just a me thing but I do have anxiety!! I'm a introvert and I get very uneasy with attention like that. It's different with moots and other kinds of socializing. This was a busy week of starting to prune, do some planting, and working longer hours so I can take some time of in the future. Thursday Philippe and his wife were here for lunch and I enjoyed showing them around the garden. I didn’t do too much pruning of the flowering plants because Mme. et M. were here. They are leaving just after Easter for a few weeks, so I’ll do the big chop next week.

Two evenings this week were Zoom calls with garden societies. I always enjoy these.

I planted Matthiola sinuata along the wall of the new meadow. Now I have two species of Matthiola in the garden.

I planted two new sages that I want to try in the garden, Salvia eigii and this one with amazing foliage...

Below, Salvia multicaulis, Achillea umbellata, Satureja montana and Euphorbia corallioides are putting on quite an amazing show around the pool.

I planted Plumbago auriculata in pots around the pool. I’m hoping to make them look like water fountains... Let’s see how well I manage to pull this one off.

My favourite aïoli to date, this time at Bistrot du Coin in Antibes. I didn’t even need dinner Friday evening.

Over the weekend I worked in my garden. There was so much to do. I also washed the windows in my house and did a bit of spring cleaning. It was an exhausting weekend.

Sunday would have been my mum’s 78th birthday. I miss her every day. I took some time to just sit in the sun and relax and think about her.

Anti Theorist <3 Keep On Keepin On.

Hello my little Septiceye Squad, Anti lovers, theorist babs, lurkers, silent viewers and fun patrol. I wanted to write yet another essay/thesis because I’m seeing some people feel the sting from getting a theory wrong but I’d like to remind you of a few beautiful things. Getting a theory wrong and jumping at shadows is a part of theorizing. IT’S OKAY LOVELIES! It is not rejection and it isn’t Jack trying to intentionally hurt us or shut the Anti Theories down for a little bit or for good for that matter. It isn’t an attack, it’s his way of pointing us in the right direction. He simply wanted to protect us from disappointment and also protect himself, which is fair. He knows we love this shit and we need to remember that he loves it as well. Otherwise, we wouldn’t even have his participation nor his support. He knows we will jump at shadows because that is the nature of Anti and this whole thing to begin with. He has purposefully left breadcrumbs that are like “septicide” before and knows we will continue to look for anything. Thus is why he reached out to us and said “nah, sorry, don’t want to lead you guys on.” Because he cares about us. So when he corrects us, don’t be upset, mad, disappointed or feel rejection. Rejoice that he is paying attention to our beautiful community and that he wants to give us a helping hand. That he is watching,  a͝l͠wa̶y̡s ̀w̷a͞t҉ch͏in̶g, and that he is apart of the fun we have here too. I know some of you are younger than me, are growing into your own peopleperson, can get really excited about stuff and in return can get easily or deeply hurt by things like being wrong, rejection, disappointment, abandonment. Trust me, I still do too and that IS OKAY. We are all people here, including Jack. Being a part of this wonderful community means a lot to most of us. Being included in something can mean the world. Getting to participate in something so exciting can get emotions running high. Theorizing get’s our tasty brain juices flowing. My point is, we invest a lot into this. Whether that’s anti theories, enjoying and contributing to the JSE community in general, or creating. We invest and so does Jack.  So anytime something can be seen as a threat to this great thing we have going, we can feel all those emotions. It’s understandable and its human. It’s a defense mechanism to protect something we love.

Just try to remember a few things for me and I promise you will have fun and not feel emotionally compromised when things like this happen.

That’s why it’s called a theory. It’s all about keeping an open mind for great ideas and being able to accept new ones when old ones don’t fit anymore or are incorrect. It isn’t about being rejected or disappointed you were wrong. It’s about growing and adapting just like our glitchy boy. More importantly, having fun slingin them crazy ass theories.

Jack is just like us and enjoys some good theory spewing too. He is by no means ever going to try and bring us down for theorizing. FFS, he even broke his upload schedule for a bit of Anti fun for Kill JSE. He is just as much a part of this as we are. This is for his entertainment too. He would never want you to feel hurt or abandoned because of his participation in all this. Even if it is him telling us “This isn’t a hint drop.” It isn’t to hurt us. It’s to help us.

Getting way into it? So? You’re having fun. What is wrong with that? You don’t need to censor yourself or tone it down a bit. Just don’t hurt yourself or others over it. Don’t emotionally compromise yourself to the point you can’t bounce back and spit more theories. Be respectful of each other and don’t bring each other down. We are a family. Support each other the way Jack supports us and they way we support him. Lemme quote Jack for a moment. “Some people go a bit overboard. That’s fine. Some people are a little over enthusiastic about it but i mean... If that’s the biggest complaint I have out of this, that people are too enthusiastic? Then I have no complaints. You guys are awesome! I’m so glad that you’re down with this kind of weird shit, you take it on board and you love it just as much as I do. Cause I freakin love doing these things.”

Anti was born from us. He was born from our weird and crazy theories. Jack sees all of this and he takes note of what we see and adds what he sees. It goes back and forth. Just because we may not see Anti for awhile or have hints for awhile doesn’t mean we have to stop theorizing or making up stories for him, or the other egos for that matter. HAVE FUN DAMMIT. THAT IS WHAT THIS IS ABOUT.

Lastly and more importantly is that we are still on a swell right now.  oh͟ ̡god ̨h͏ere ͡i g̵o ̨th̨e͠or͞izi͝ng̛ ͟a͠ga̵in̶  I’d like to point out what several others have pointed out. There hasn’t been an AAV (After Anti Vlog). Some say it’s because Jack didn’t die and this was a little taste of Anti due to time constraints and the sake of tradition. However I’d like to direct you to the last AAV. Jack does these vlogs to “clear the air.”  We haven’t had that yet. It is understandable that we are still swelling and jumping at shadows so don’t bring each other or yourselves down for still being excited.  Seriously, have fun you guys and don’t beat yourselves up. The only thing we should be disappointed in is if our walls don’t get lit on fire with theories and the joy it brings. Love you all <3
