I saw the Tumblr post about posting your sheevra and I just wanted to use that Picrew and make my own.

Mortalis form, tall and cold, and...

She's a tree, basically. Her skin is hard bark, lines running through it. Her antlers are like branches, garlanded with flowers. Unfortunately they won't let me give her long, tangled greenery as hair. In case you haven't guessed, she's a dryad.

She doesn't like humans. Like, really doesn't like. Stays away from them, hates them for what they've done. However, stepping into Renescen... the place is wondrous, the magic incredible. Forgive her for getting a bit distracted from time to time.

Ooohhh! She’s gorgeous - love the tree imagery and sorry about the dislike for the mortalis haha. But glad she’s enjoying Renescen! 👀

His marks whirl around like snowflakes in the wind, it settles in his hands/legs (they appear like normal freckles in his mortalis form)

The interaction/incident with Evan Glask really affected her (it gave her a deep insight into what love & devotion feel like)

His legs are digitigrade (that end in cloven hooves) when in their natural form ... he doesn't enjoy wearing shoes when in mortalis form :/

Despite having less of a need to, Zephyr enjoys eating (she's especially gond of mortalis food)

i was actually talking to my friends just yesterday about how there's relatively few Creacher-y ROs around... so for whatever reason, i guess because it's on my mind, i thought i'd take a bit of time/space here to mention all of the Monsterfucker Approved (TM) ROs that i could come up with, in case anyone else might be interested. this list isn't meant to be exhaustive (in case i miss anyone) as sadly i am yet to become all-seeing and all-knowing 😔

Creacher (Alien)

Rhaxa and Imxa from Project Hadea by my beloved @nyehilismwriting. spikey, scaley, bitey, etc. 👌i also love and appreciate the attention to detail put into worldbuilding for the different ways their species communicates and thinks and so on, showing the culture gaps between them and humans. quality buggies!

Creacher (Eldritch)

Roach from The Passenger... the mc is also an eldritch creacher in this one, which may add or subtract to the enjoyment for various different people lol

Sysba from Attollo; i also think this game in general is pretty monster friendly, with a bunch of monstrous side characters and so forth. the cool kind of neo-gothic vibes give it a feeling a bit akin to a cyberpunk Penny Dreadful... it's about as Monsterfucker as cyberpunk gets i think!

Beacon from Stygian: The Abyssal Lighthouse by my good friend @salty-stories. this one is probably the most Lovecraftian of the eldritch creachers i think, heavy Call of Cthulhu vibes. it's still in progress but i'm personally willing to wait haha

Lorelei and The Other from The Golden Harp; pirates and sirens and mermaids, oh my!

Danny and Isla from When It Hungers by the wonderful @roast-ifs ... the game is still on hiatus but it still lives rent-free in my head always... the monster mcs are So *chef's kiss*

Oisein from The Nameless; due to the sheevra mc there's a Lot of really cool exploration of the boundaries of humanity and stuff like that... we love a "nonhumans shouldn't be able to feel/do this" story... we love it a Normal amount for sure.

Trace from Greenwarden by @fiddles-ifs; an iconique creacher... the game itself also has excellent kind of Appalachian gothic/supernatural vibes and a dark undercurrent of Lurking Monster Foreboding.

anything by the extremely talented @thirtybythirty (links to their games in their pinned post). everything they write has a compelling undercurrent of... eldritch existentialism. perhaps the creacher is in fact the Narrative... or maybe the humans were the creachers all along...

the fabulous OFNA: Birds of a Feather - it has the perfect combination of things Not Quite Human and Not Quite Right to create a rich and ominous atmosphere, well-worth playing even though everyone is Technically human lmfao

anyway sorry for rambling on and i'm sure there's a bunch i have missed but. i do feel like it's worth giving praise where it's due for games and writers that we appreciate! thank you again for your kind message (and for giving me a chance to talk about this a bit lol)

Was playing @parkerlyn IF game, The Nameless, and decided to hop over to picrew and make my MC.

He’s an uneelie sheevra and is extremely nervous/shy around mortalis. He absolutely hates his mortalis disguise and can’t resist the urge to scratch like crazy whenever he’s able to drop it. Even so, he’s fairly gentle, and generally leaves mortalis alone unless he’s making a deal with them. He doesn’t even really hate them, he just doesn't understand them, and he thinks they’re extremely confusing. 

Among his fellow sheevra, he’s more friendly, though still fairly soft spoken and introverted.

She snarls each sentence, this asshat hurt the person she loved. Scarred them. There was going to be hell too pay. She stepped closer to them, her magic flaring and spiraling off her skin. She could hear the illusions of terror, of screaming already forming, mirroring all she was feeling inside.

In Oisein’s found family portrait one of the sheevra have more animal like ears rather than “elf” like. Is there a specific reason why? Do all of them have the chance to have animal qualities? What other animal traits can sheevra have? Pointed teeth, tails, hooves, claws? Whats the limit? Sorry if this have been answered!

No worries! And for Heleen, there's no specific reason other than I thought it looked nice/suited her design haha. The type of sheevra the MC is are able to have certain animal traits, though the shape of their body and limbs is primarily closer to human. The game will only mention the traits decided so far for the sheevra MC features just because of variability, but the ones you've listed would be within the realm of possibility!

rhel'ra zhawn in ffxiv, post shb. he's a red mage there, and the light ruined one of his eyes. probably the most flashed out version of him since, you know, *gestures to four expansions and 2.1k hours of playtime*

roma inteus in wayfarer by @idrellegames. he's a city elf mentored by varyn. i keep going back and forth between having him and aeran having platonic feelings for each other or romantic ones. guess we will see in future chapters :eyes:

vel in the nameless by @parkerlyn. he's a dryad because of course he is. i had way too much fun with his sheevra form. he has the biggest crush on oisein, of course.

roma in @northern-passage. the most tired version of all. not even ffxiv's rhel'ra can beat him in this aspect. he's tired of everyone's bullshit (except lea's). i still haven't decided on a surname for him here ;-;

and the most recent one, vel in @fell-star-if. scratch that, maybe this vel is the most tired version of all. i can't wait to design his abyssal form tbh. it probably would borrow a little from the nameless' vel's sheevra form, but, you know, more eyes. or no eyes. more spooky in general.

i want to design him in other IFs and in other rpgs like dragon age or guild wars soon. it's fun to explore how his personality changes depending on the world/story he's in!
