Girl, your blog convinced me to continue reading ACOATR! I’m honestly laughing my ass off about the whole shipping war shit because it’s so oBvIoUs who are the next 2 pairings. Crying, screaming, throwing up and convincing themselves E/riel was planned since MAF like these two didn’t start paying attention to each other in FAS because they needed a rebound. And after that bonus chapter, no less! Phew. The mate language between Azriel and Gwyn was not subtle at all. And they’re not even friends yet.

My man Lucien was NOT given a bunch of big storylines just to be kept as a sexy comedic relief. Reading posts about how 3 brothers + 3 sisters was always the plan and how irrelevant Gwyn and Lucien are and I can smell the frustration. Big mad, gritting their teeth and wiping away tears. They’re so awkward and cringy around each other, you gotta work really hard to convince yourself they have real tension and potential.

To me, it makes sense that Lucien is on the backburner right now. Even Elain to some extent.

If these are two characters who aren't meant to be majorly involved in the NC and it's politics in the future.....then why would they be majorly involved in the NC right now? Their absence is telling but not because they've suddenly stopped being important. They simply have no real place in Nesta and Cassian's book since Nessian are two characters who are NC through and through.

SJM has often mentioned that she's excited to explore other courts outside the NC (even places outside Prythian) in the spin-off series and I think Elucien's story is going to give us exactly that.

She wasn't ready for it before but that doesn't mean she's not ready for it now.

And yeah, I'm not sure how the thought of a females happiness sparking something in your chest then later having it glow (a thing of secret lovely beauty) could be looked at as anything but coding for a romantic future between two characters. Endgame or not, that's definitely something. It's definitely something that Gwyn was a bit flirtatious towards Az (so the arguments that she's not interested in men because of her SA sound like someone trying to hold her back from taking those first steps that she herself feels comfortable with), it's something that Az found her charming, that he watched her with admiration, that he believed in her ability to make it through the Rite,

I really don't understand how it's said Elain possibly calling Az's scars beautiful (when she could have actually been talking about his Sipons) is romantic coding but those scenes between Gwynriel are not. You can still want E/riel to be endgame if that's your jam but it's strange if the Gwyn and Az moments didn't have them worried just a little.

good morning, tumblr! happy tuesday! and happy fiesta ng nazareno

to my fellow devotees, ingat kayong lahat today especially is papasan kayo or mapapadpad man kayo sa manila area

woke up in on of the worst ways - yung nagulat nalang ako sa boses ng nanay ko kasi yung niluto niyang pagkain na dadalhin ng dad ko pa-manila sa bahay ng pinsan ko, nakalimutan dalhin ng tatay ko...

besides that, my nose has been stuffy and my eyes are puffy and ive been so confused as to why kasi usually when i say i have sipon, its usually only bothersome since i literally cant breathe as much pero ito parang naglilinger lang yung sipon for months now and it never went away ever since i got it na ulit pero i can breathe naman; so are these just seasonal allergies?

but im up and working na or atleast trying to kasi i have 1 main task to finish today and thats to finish my slides for our business planning tomorrow

and although not surprising anymore, im 300% sure na putol putol din siya eventually bukas kasi ang daming ganap ng mga boss ko bukas tapos yung isa boss ko pa is may sakit so i dont even think she's going to the office

but yeah, ill try to start on my slides na din para tapos na and para i can move on to the other smaller tasks i have on my to do list

December 15 - 17, 2023:

Elyu trip! Last beach trip for 2023. And elyu did not disappoint.

Bumyahe pa ko na masama ang pakiramdam, nang hawa kasi ng sipon sila mama at papa hahaha. Buti di nagkasakit ng deretso, namaos nga lang.

It was fun! First time naming lahat sa elyu. Halata namang lahat kami nag enjoy.

Day 1 - Pink outfit (day) & Black and White (night)

Free time lang namin, pag dating ng elyu, nag asikaso ng lunch, nag luto, kumain tapos natulog. Pag dating ng hapon dumeretso kami ng dagat para mag swimming. By 6 PM bumalik sa hotel para mag dinner, uminom ng kaunti, nag laro ng beer pong tapos nag bihis para lumabas mag bar hopping, pero isang bar lang ang napuntahan hahahahaha.

Day 2 - Green outfit (day) & blue (night)

7 AM nag tour lang kami, pagkauwi nag swimming kami sa pool. Same after that, lunch, dagat tapos surfing, then umuwi for dinner, di na kami uminom sa hotel, dumeretso kami ng bar hopping, potek nalasing ako. Ang ganda ni ate na nakasayaw ko sa bar jusko. Hello Cha! nakuha ko name niya pero di ko nakuha ig hahahaha. Pagkauwi nag inom pa ulit, pag-gising ko tuloy puro pasa ako di ko alam anyare hahahahaha.

Day 3 - Brown outfit

Uwian na! Dumaan lang kami sa bilihan ng mga pasalubong tapos deretso na ang byahe.

Sa uulitin ulit!

Sa true lang. Parang lagnat na lang yan. Hindi na kagaya dati na madaming namamatay. Puro mild cases na lang nag popositive sa covid. Ang lagay eh, magpopositive ka talaga kung magpapa swab ka. Haha! Don’t get me wrong naniniwala ako sa covid, I’m a health worker. Na witness ko talaga yung struggle, pero I can compare yung situation 3 years ago sa ngayon.

Actually, nagka sipon kami lahat dito sa bahay. Pero after 4 days lang nawala na din naman. Pumapasok pa nga ako sa work. No need na magpa swab. Okay naman, wala naman din akong nahawaan. Haha!

Good news na talaga ‘to. Expected ko naman na hindi na ito mawawala, but things are getting better natututo na tayo mag adapt sa covid.
