Slayerback is a monster alien from outer space who wants to take over Earth and bump humanity to the bottom of the food chain. He isn't a Monstrum.
He's relatively dangerous but prefers taking the monsters that already lie dormant on Earth (and inside of it) and weaponize them against humans as he's smart enough to know alien monsters sometimes have allergies for more human climates. These monsters are also not Monstrum.
He and some others do refer to himself as a king of sorts as he has a decently sized fleet at his command to build his empire. Granted, it's in outer space. And he could be seen as his alien race's equivalent of an alpha.
Bitterbat is an actual king and also can use monsters, granted his are the seeds of corruption that his dad planted inside of humans but it's still the same theme of using Earth against itself. And he's an alpha Monstrum.
His kingdom is also off planet, in a separate dimension.
Slayerback has a similar mindset to the late Lord Vile who believed in survival to the fittest. He only wants to take on the strongest and sees no use in dealing with the weak. This is a mindset Bitterbat strongly disagrees with and hates on a personal level.
However, Bitterbat forces himself to deal with all of this to keep up appearances as villainous ally. But the act starts to crack because, as I repeat, Slayerback only wants to take on the strongest. And the Gamers are certainly strong, but that's mainly because of their mecha suits. Without them, they have some super strength and hyper agility and durability but...
...compared to Sweetheart?
Someone who, over the course of Slayerback watching how Bitterbat fights, can hold against him?
And not just the fake fighting as he eventually picks up on it and can tell that Bitterbat is holding back and even then, Sweetheart doesn't faulter. And even without Bitterbat, she still packs the same amount of punch as the mechs the Gamers pilot in JUST her frilly ass pink skirt.
Slayerback realizes he very much wants Sweetheart as an opponent.
And that's when Bitterbat snaps because
Sweetheart is not only his to fight, but is also his everything
Slayerback is rather dangerous to the point Bitterbat has to watch himself. Because with the right space tech, he could prove a hassle in battle which means Sweetheart could be in trouble
Alpha monster mentality is making him territorial and he's already mentally listed the Beloveds as his and the Flavor Four's responsibility. Which means Slayerback is over stepping the boundaries.
How their confrontation goes is to be fleshed out but the tension is def raised when you add in the fact that Slayerback is the self established leader of the Band of Bastards that just about every villain in Decking listens to and Bitterbat is just a newbie that packs a punch.
So he could easily potentially cause quite the mess if he doesn't watch himself because SURE!
He could clean it up relatively easily if he doesn't miss a beat. But getting Sweetheart involved would be a nightmare because she has enough on her plate already.
And this isn't even factoring in Slayerback possibly discovering just how much strength is in Bitterbat and how he has the perfect opponent hiding right under his nose.

THE LONG AWAITED rough DESIGNS OF THE OTHER VILLAINS OF DECKING CITY (not to be mistaken for genuine antagonists of Glitter and Guilt). Along with the Flavor Four, they make up a league of villains (I am working on a cool name) that is meant to rival the league of heroes for Decking (who I am also working on a cool name for).
For now, their nicknames are
Hail-Raiser - Archenemy of The Daring. He wants to bring back the ice age and freeze Earth.
Fairest - Archenemy of The Cherished. She wants to become the fairest of them all and have everyone's undying attention on Earth.
Slayerback - Archenemy of The Gamers. He wants to take over Earth and bump humanity to the bottom of the food chain.
Unlike the Flavor Four, their relationships with their heroes is strictly enemies aka professional as they all do wanna defeat them and take over the world. They all are also completely oblivious to the Flavor Four and their relationship with the Beloveds.
I will slowly but surely dump more information on them in due time but it is the holiday season so I figured I will be generous and share some more GaG characters bc I know people enjoy them a lot

Im Sorry but Hail-Raiser gives me loser vibes, like yeah intergalactic conquerer yada yada but dude Is getting his butt kicked by a trio of prescholer like
You got Hail-Raiser and Slayerback mixed up. Slayerback Is the intergalactic conqueror. He's a genuine threat and one of the big villains of Decking City.
Tumblr media
The heroes that take him on are the Gamers aka the Power Rangers of Decking City.
Tumblr media
Hail-Raiser is the little Rankin Bass flavored twerp
Tumblr media
He is literally the size of a small child and barely anyone takes him seriously. That's why he's the villain for the Daring. He's not a major threat and the two are evenly matched. They jump his ass weekly Powerpuff Girls style

I really think SlayerBack is cool, don't get me wrong! But, he reminds me of a giant Baboon with horns
That's because I purposely based him off the Mandrill.
Tumblr media
I even updated him so he has the beard color of them.
I was looking straight at pictures of that monkey while designing him because I wanted Slayerback to be on the lowest key a ref to Planet of the Apes and because monkey based aliens are slept on as a concept.

Is that Diamond Slayerback’s Soul Suit?
Slayerback isn't a Monstrum so he doesn't have a Soul Suit. He's an alien from a distant planet trying to conquer Earth.
As for what that diamond is...I do not recommend touching it (or touching Slayerback in general)

Is there a type of villain that Bitterbat particularly dislike? Maybe someone who reminds him of his dad too much?
Slayerback for a long while since he shares the same views as Bitterbat's father which basically sum up to "The weak should fear the strong"
More about him can be found here

Aside from the Flavor Four and the Jollies who come from different dimensions and therefore are not humans, do the other supervillains have civilian identities?
Not really.
Slayerback doesn't care and thinks too highly of himself to stoop down to human levels. When asked, he often responds with something along the lines of "I'm going to eventually rule this planet so they better get used to seeing their future Emperor"
Fairest loves the fame and attention she gets as herself and sees no reason to use an identity to avoid turning eyes.
and Hail-Raiser doesn't get the point. Too much hard work for him when he could be spending that time enjoying some frozen treat.
Bitterbat is literally the only one who has a civilian identity in the Band of Bastards because it allows him to go on dates in broad daylight with Sweetheart.

How would the rest of the Band of Bastards react to the revelation of Sweetheart and Bitterbat's relationship? I imagine that Slayerback wouldn't be too keen on it, Fairest would be more sympathetic given her crush on Shannon, and I make no claim whatsoever to knowing how Hail-Raiser thinks.
Slayerback would be pissed as hell. Finding out your least fave coworker was planning on betraying you at any second for an enemy? He def has him and Sweetheart listed as enemy number one. He doesn't believe in love, especially it getting in the way of victory in battles and views Bitterbat as weak.
Even Fairest is hurt. Granted, she is more disappointed at first because she thought there was some level of loyalty. But she comes to somewhat understand Bitterbat's feelings once the initial shock leaves her. She even finds relief he ain't a creep like she thought.
Hail-Raiser is also mad but more in the "YOU LIED TO OUR FACES!?" way. Knowing Bitterbat for awhile and how he seemed to fit right into the group, while not making him view him as a friend, def made him just...used to their dynamic? And Hail-Raiser hates change so he ain't too happy. He also doesn't understand how love can be so strong to cause such a thing. I imagine he is between Slayerback and Fairest with reactions.

What else has Slayerback conquered before setting his sights on Earth?
Smaller planets unknown to the human Solar System. Rather easy little things that didn't really stand a chance compared to Slayerback's fleet.
Also there's his original home planet, which was about Earth's size give or take.

I'm so sorry for what's going to happen because Slayerback is 😩👌
Funny enough, Slayerback is potentially the closest to a genuine villain antagonist that isn't the Jollies because of the beef he got going on with Bitterbat that slowly escalates over the main first half of the story.

So Bitterbat is a member of the Band of Bastards AND the Flavor Four?
Yep.
It's less of a team and more of a league of villains specifically located in Decking City.
Just like the Beloveds are Sweetheart's hero team and she is a part of the Decking City Defense Force, the Flavor Four is Bitterbat's villain squad while the Band of Bastards (Also known as BOB) is basically the antithesis of the Decking City Defense Force.
BOB is basically a front for Bitterbat to raise his street cred so more people actually believe him to be an actual villain, including other villains.
This means he occasionally has to help the other villains (specifically Slayerback and Fairest) with their respective heroic enemies but he never does anything too crazy.

Gonna be honest with ya, Rocky. If I was in Decking City, I'll probably die because the moment I see one of the bad guys not doing anything particular, I'll ask for an autograph or at least a photo with them. (I won't last a minute in Decking City but I'll die happy!)
I mean, some villains do just roam around-especially the cocky ones (or the ones that think they are super bad ass and evil but really are minor nuisances that typically get slaps on the wrists because their crime was super minor like asking for a cup to get water from a soda machine and getting a soda instead)
But not every villain is just out on the street. Slayerback hates Earth and stays in his ship up in space until he needs something, for example.
Hail-Raiser and Fairest are the best folks can get with big names, especially Fairest as she loves giving autographs and has been known to do it while in the middle of battling Cherished.
And Hail-Raiser is a little twerp who tries to go on rampages through the city but everyone keeps calling him cute and pinching his cheeks and he always tactically retreats.
However, Decking City is very used to its villains and has special protections in place to cut off civilians from especially dangerous villains if they are having a stand off against a hero. There's even big ole chunky fines for civilians who cross the warning boundaries put in place by the Decking City Defense Squad as they count it as obstructing justice. The city doesn't play around when it comes to its "Villain Stans". But you can't really blame them as villains are very unpredictable.
So...chances are that you won't really die. You might just get a big ass fine you have to pay.
