Garter snake most likely. Little Es was with Austin and me and she was so excited that she scared the little thing away.

We’re teaching Es valuable lessons. “Oh look, a garter snake. Cute but very shy so we need to leave them alone so we don’t scare them.” and “Those are geese with babies, we really need to leave those alone and switch trails because those chase and bite.” XD

Fantastic Beasts the Crimes of Grindelwald - thoughts

So I know nobody cares about my thoughts on the movie but I just needed to type this out for myelf

SO I went to see the movie last night and I have SO MUCH TO TALK ABOUT. I’ll try to write it as chronological as possible, and obv spoiler alert to those who haven’t seen it.

-so the opening scene was actually really cool but that lightning HURT my eyes auwtch

-fuck you waldie for killing that WHOLESOME and CUTE creature that HELPED YOU

-i wasnt sure about johnny depp but i am obsessed with his eyes

-why go through all the trouble of introducing this v cute character bunty to never show her again in the entire movie

-also i am HERE for the ‘maybe you should take of your shirt’ line

-why is queenie so afraid of jacob not loving her back?

-also wtf is that lazy writing about jacob not having his memories erased???? like c’mon

-also v lazy writing about the whole ‘tina is hurt bc newt is engaged - but not really’ like is this whole plot line written by rita skeeter

-that circus looks cool af and im so happy they made the community like less advanced and equal bc its in 1927

-SO NAGINI IS A HUMAN NOW?????? LIKE I NEEDED A MOMENT TO PROCESS. also it makes 0 sence she stays on the ‘good side’ in the end. im really curious how she ends up being the snekk of the dark lord. like is her memory all blury or?

-that chinese creature being enchanted by newts toy is EVERYTHING

-young dumbledor doesnt really remind me of the old one. also why is he so open abt his sister dying???? like he couldnt even tell harry or anyone in the hp series. it doesnt make sence.

-also fuck grindelwald for killing all these muggles AND THAT BABY. like how can queenie be so blinded??? how does she not see the killer he really is???

-dumbledore is SO GAY WITH GRINDELWALT AND I LOVE IT. like the blood pact reminded me of two little hearts floating to each other. CUTE. also i thought he was going to see dumbledore with the deathly hallows in the mirror but instead it was grindelwalt he saw??? weird but also v cute and gay

-so that scocerers stone hidden in that closet is really cool but why is he in this movie??? he has no added value whatsoever. like in the ending he magically appears to save to day and then dissapears again. like with bunty, i am here for them being an awesome part but GIVE THEM MORE SCREENTIME MAYBE???

-so moving on to the ending because this whole movie was a mess and my head hurts trying to figure things out

-again it makes zero sence to me that queenie is going to the dark side, like did she not hear the whole ‘muggles are disposable’ part??

-i am so confused as to why lestrange had such a big part in this movie. and then she died. i didnt even feel sad bc i was just too confused. but i mean i guess its cool that she was a ‘good’ lestrange.

-also where they on the titanic?? it really looks like it. also v convenient nobody noticed they were holding THE WRONG BABY

-the scemander brothers are v cute.

-the WW2 part was kinda weird

-i rEALLY REALLLY dislike the ending. like there is no way credence could be a dumbledore. the numbers just dont add up. my theory it is all just bs to make credence believe more in grindelwalts cause or smth.

-why does no1 else gets tea lmao

so overall my opinion of this movie is v mixed. i think its a transition movie from the first one which was v cute, to the third one which will be v suspenful. i liked the little ‘omg’ reveals but some just dont make sence. the movie didnt feel like it was a whole, it just feels like bits and pieces of jk’s mind glued togheter and then thrown into a movie format.

so yeah i really needed to say these things.
