“I saw someone break down on Twitter the amount of times the Swedish princesses wore Swedish designers and honestly I’m really impressed that both Victoria and Sofia wear majority Swedish designers and Madeline’s wears designers that support charities she cares about. Even if I don’t always love the looks I respect their commitment to supporting local and ethical fashion” - Submitted by Anonymous

I love the former Sofia Hellqvist, now Princess Sofia, proved everyone wrong
From March 26th. I forget what we were talking about.
I do too. I think she's incredible, and the really hands-on volunteering she did during COVID is really to be commendable.
And honestly, Princess Sofia is the model that all royal families need to follow when a royal is marrying someone less-than-squeaky-clean background. Meghan and the BRF could've learned a lot by looking at how the Bernadottes helped Sofia. (Maybe they did, but Meghan was Meghan, Harry was Harry, and here we are.)

Happy 44th birthday to Prince Carl Philip of Sweden, Duke of Värmland!
Born on May 13th 1979, Carl Philip Edmund Bertil is the only son and the second of three children of King Carl XVI Gustaf and Queen Silvia. He is currently fourth in the line of succession to the Swedish throne.
Carl Philip was heir apparent to the throne of Sweden (and thus held the title Crown Prince) for seven months, until 1 January 1980 when the laws of succession were changed, introducing absolute primogeniture over male primogeniture. His elder sister Victoria became heir apparent and Crown Princess, with Carl Philip becoming second in line.
Carl Philip and Sofia Hellqvist married on 13 June 2015 in Stockholm's Royal Palace chapel. The couple has three sons: Prince Alexander, Duke of Södermanland, Prince Gabriel, Duke of Dalarna, and Prince Julian, Duke of Halland.

“I think it's nice when royal brides have colorful bouquets to add a pop of color to the white. For example, Princess Carolina of Bourbon-Parma who carried a bouquet of lavender-colored sweet peas, she chose this flower because it was Queen Juliana's favorite. Lady Davina Windsor opted for a bouquet of beautiful blue florals. Swedish Princess Sofia's bridal bouquet included cream and coral garden roses with sprigs of myrtle. For her wedding, Charlotte Casiraghi chose a whimsical bouquet of lilac.” - Submitted by Anonymous
