Africa is a continent of cultural diversity with a rich heritage. It has 54 sovereign states with almost 1500-2000 spoken languages. The year 2020 brought Africa one of the worst economic recessions because of the pandemic. Slowly African economy has started rebuilding. Most of the jobs in Africa are more reliant on digital technologies, and there is strong growth potential in these areas, including digital design, creation and engineering, and STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math) skills required in various organizations.
Shortages across Africa's leading industrial areas are due to a lack of practical and technical knowledge, along with insufficient training at the university level. For example, most of the vocational courses here are not in line with global standards. The industries like automobile, textile and steel industries experience a lack of the right skilled workforce possessing IT and soft skills.

Excerpt from this Wall Street Journal story:
In a dusty northwest India desert dotted with cows and the occasional camel, a solar-power plant is producing some of the world’s cheapest energy.
Built in 2018 by India’s Acme Solar Holdings Ltd., it can generate 200 megawatts of electricity, enough to power all the homes in a middle-size U.S. town. Acme sells the electricity to distributors for 2.44 rupees (3.4 cents) a kilowatt-hour, a record low for solar power in India, a country that data trackers say has the world’s cheapest solar energy.
More remarkable, the power costs less to generate in India than the cheapest competing fossil fuel—coal—even with subsidies removed and the cost of construction and financing figured in, according to the Indian government and industry trackers.
Price-conscious Indian utilities are eager to snap up that power. “We are infamous for low cost,” says Sandeep Kashyap, Acme’s president.
Solar power has entered a new global era. The industry was long dependent on subsidies and regulatory promotions. Now, technological innovation and falling solar-panel prices have made solar power inexpensive enough to compete on its own with other fuel sources in some regions, when it comes to newly built plants. That could turbocharge growth of renewables in the global energy industry, especially in fast-growing Asian markets where much of the world’s energy infrastructure expansion will take place.
Governments in many solar markets—including China, the biggest—are phasing out or reducing supports. Solar-plant development is going mainstream, with finance provided by global investors like Goldman Sachs Group Inc., Singaporean sovereign-wealth fund GIC and huge Western pension and private-equity funds.
So far, the renewable-energy push hasn’t halted the growth of global energy emissions. But the success of countries like India in feeding their rising power demands with clean energy will still be key to blunting the growth of global challenges like pollution and climate change.

Kingdom of Zenith -An Introduction
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Zenith or Officially The Kingdom of Zenith was formed by partition of 1/4th of total area of Kazakhstan on the western front that has shore along Caspian Sea. It is landlocked country, the 36 largest country in the world lies in Central Asias and Europe. Zenith is projected to be the influential nation of Central Asia economically, generating 30% of the region's GDP, primarily through its oil and gas industry. It also has vast mineral resources. Zenith is officially a secular, unitary, constitutional monarchy with a diverse cultural heritage. Zenith shares borders with Russia, Uzbekistan, and Turkmenistan, and also adjoins a large part of the Caspian Sea. The terrain of Zenith includes flatlands, steppe, taiga, rock canyons, hills, deltas, snow-capped mountains, and deserts. Its population density is among the lowest, at less than 6 people per square kilometre (15 people per sq mi) Atyrau
The capital is Atyrau country's largest city. It is located at the mouth of the Ural River on the Caspian Sea, 351 kilometres (218 miles) east of the Russian city of Astrakhan. Atyrau's climate is semi-arid , just shy of being classified as arid, with hot summers and cold winters. Precipitation is low throughout the year. Snow is common, though light in winter. The lowest temperature on record is −37.9 °C (−36.2 °F), recorded in 1909, and the highest temperature is 42.7 °C (108.9 °F), recorded in 1984. It is much more continental than areas further west on the European continent, with summers characterised by temperatures averaging 33 °C (91 °F) and lack of precipitation, resembling continental hot-summer mediterranean climates, and subarctic winters with little snow but with chilling temperatures. These vast temperature swings are more comparable to Siberia and the North American plains. The  biggest refinery in Zenith is located in Atyrau.  Atyrau Refinery is operated Zenith Oil and Gas Company [ZOGC]  and has a capacity of 16,600 m³/day (2012). A deep oil refining complex is under construction which is the final stage of complete reconstruction of Atyrau Oil Refinery. This project is designed to process 2.4 million tons/year of raw materials (oil and vacuum gas oil). The project will increase the depth of the oil processing at the refinery by 2020 to 85%. The volume of oil refining will reach 8 million tons per year. The territory of Zenith has historically been inhabited by nomadic groups and empires of Scythians who were Eurasian nomads, probably mostly using Eastern Iranian languages, who were mentioned by the literate peoples to their south as inhabiting large areas of the western and central Eurasian Steppe from about the 9th century BC up until the 4th century AD. The Scythians were among the earliest peoples to master mounted warfare. They kept herds of horses, cattle and sheep, lived in tent-covered wagons and fought with bows and arrows on horseback. They developed a rich culture characterised by opulent tombs, fine metalwork and a brilliant art style.the western Scythians were ruled by a wealthy class known as the Royal Scyths. The Scythians established and controlled the Silk Road, a vast trade network connecting Greece, Persia, India and China, perhaps contributing to the contemporary flourishing of those civilisations. Independence
The Russians began advancing into the Kazakh steppe in the 18th century, and by the mid-19th century, they nominally ruled all of Kazakhstan as part of the Russian Empire. Following the 1917 Russian Revolution, and subsequent civil war, the territory of Kazakhstan was reorganised several times. In 1936, it was made the Kazakh Soviet Socialist Republic, part of the Soviet Union.
Kazakhstan was the last of the Soviet republics to declare independence during the dissolution of the Soviet Union in 1991. Ten years later in 22nd December 2001 Zenith declared its Independence and Sovereignty from Kazakhstan following a huge civil war between Christians and Muslims in the Kazakhstan which led to Russian and NATO Intervention, both of which favoured creation of Zenith, a Christian Absolute Majority Nation. A UN resolution declaring Zenith an Independent nation was passed by a majority of 190 of the193 sovereign states subsequently Zenith was accepted as 194th sovereign state member of United Nations in 2003 and was again rectified by190 members. Zenith’s top Military Commander, Lieutenant General Alexander Orlov who openly supported Christians became the country's first King and Supreme Commander of Defence Forces . Emphasis was on converting the country's economy to a market economy while ensuring political reforms did not lag behind. By 2011, Zenith generated 30% of the GDP of Central Asia, primarily through its oil industry. King Alexander Orlov had plans on creating Nuclear Power Plants and has approached The International Atomic Energy Agency, UN Security Council and General Assembly. Zenith has signed on a Fissile Material Cut-off Treaty in Geneva, has been admitted to the Missile Technology Control Regime (MTCR), the Australia Group and the Wassenaar Arrangement.  Zenith has also signed Non-Proliferation Treaty and has applied for membership to Nuclear Supplier Group, owing to its huge Uranium Deposits. In 2003, Zenith adopted a constitution that provided for the direct election of 30 of the 50 members of the Legislative Council. The constitution was overwhelmingly approved in a referendum, with almost 98% in favour
The King has the exclusive power to appoint and remove the Prime Minister and Cabinet Ministers who, together, constitute the Council of Ministers, which is the supreme executive authority in the country. The Council of Ministers also initiates legislation. Laws and decrees proposed by the Council of Ministers are referred to the Advisory Council for discussion after which they are submitted to the King for ratification. A Legislative Council has legislative authority to draft and approve laws, but the King has final say on all matters. Without The King’s Consent no Law can be passed. He can issues Royal Decree to issue laws directly.
The current King is His Majesty Adam Orlov, whose father His Royal Highness Alexander Orlov handed power to him on 1 May 2019. Making him youngest monarch.
Minerals Oil explorations have shown that the deposits on the Caspian shore are only larger deposit. It is said that 3.5 billion tonnes (3.4 billion long tons) of oil and 2.5 billion cubic metres (88 billion cubic feet) of gas could be found in that area. Zenith has an abundant supply of accessible mineral and fossil fuel resources. Development of petroleum, natural gas, and mineral extractions accounts for some 57% of the nation's industrial output (or approximately 20% of gross domestic product). According to some estimates Zenith has the tenth largest uranium, chromium, lead, and zinc reserves; the eighth  largest manganese reserves; the fifth largest copper reserves; and ranks in the top ten for coal, iron, and gold. It is also an exporter of diamonds.
Wildlife
There are four nature reserves and three national parks in Zenith that provide safe haven for many rare and endangered plants and animals. Common plants are Astragalus, Gagea, Allium, Carex and Oxytropis; endangered plant species include native wild apple (Malus sieversii), wild grape (Vitis vinifera) and several wild tulip species (e.g. Tulipa greigii) and rare onion species Allium karataviense, also Iris willmottiana and Tulipa kaufmanniana.
Common mammals include the wolf, red fox, corsac fox, moose, argali (the largest species of sheep), Eurasian lynx, Pallas's cat, and snow leopards, several of which are protected.
Foreign Relations : Zenith is a member of the Commonwealth of Independent States, the Economic Cooperation Organisation and the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation. Zenith was elected a member of the UN Human Rights Council for the first time on 12 November 2018 Zenith s also a member of the United Nations, Organisation for Security and Cooperation in Europe, Euro-Atlantic Partnership Council, It is an active participant in the North Atlantic Treaty Organisation Partnership for Peace program. Zenith had applied for observer status at the Council of Europe Parliamentary Assembly. The official response of the Assembly was that because Kazakhstan is located in Europe, it could apply for full membership. It is under advance consideration. Since independence Zenith has pursued what is known as the "multivector foreign policy" (seeking equally good relations with its two large neighbours, Russia, as well as with the United States and the rest of the Western world. On 28 June 2019 Zenith was elected as a non-permanent member to serve on the UN Security Council for a two-year term
Zenith  actively supports UN peacekeeping missions in Haiti, the Western Sahara, and Côte d’Ivoire . In March 2015, the Ministry of Defence chose 20 military men as observers for the UN peacekeeping missions.
Economy: Supported by rising oil output and prices, Zenith’s economy grew at an average of 8% per year until 2013, before suffering a slowdown in 2014 and 2015. Zenith was the first Independent nations to repay all of its debt to the International Monetary Fund, five years ahead of schedule. Buoyed by high world crude oil prices, GDP growth figures were between 8.9% and 13.5% from 2001 to 2013 . Zenith is a leading exporter of uranium. Railways provide 68% of all cargo and passenger traffic to over 57% of the country. Most cities are connected by railroad; high-speed trains  Zenith achieved its goal of entering the top 50 most competitive countries in 2013, and has maintained its position in the 2014–2015 World Economic Forum Global Competitiveness Report that was published at the beginning of September 2014. Zenith is ahead of other states in the CIS in almost all of the report's pillars of competitiveness, including institutions, infrastructure, macroeconomic environment, higher education and training, goods market efficiency, labour market development, financial market development, technological readiness, market size, business sophistication and innovation, lagging behind only in the category of health and primary education. The Global Competitiveness Index gives a score from 1 to 7 in each of these pillars, and Zenith earned an overall score of 5. Kingdom of Zenith has declared English as Sate Language with Russian included in additional scheduled languages.   According to the 2009 Census, 70% of the population is Christian 26% Jewish, 0.2% Buddhist, 0.1% other religions and 3% irreligious, while 0.5% chose not to answer According to its Constitution, Zenith is a secular state.

Vocational Education usually lasts 3 or 4 years.[199] (Primary education is preceded by one year of pre-school education.) These levels can be followed in one institution or in different ones (e.g., primary school, then secondary school). Recently, several secondary schools, specialised schools, magnet schools, gymnasiums, lyceums and linguistic and technical gymnasiums have been founded. Secondary professional education is offered in special professional or technical schools, lyceums or colleges and vocational schools.[197]

Digital Citizenship and Politics in a World that may not Always be What it Seems
Are you influenced by political opinion through social media?
Political discourse online is a great example of digital citizenship. Matters of state are often debated online as part of our civic culture. That discourse can originate with international agitators, as well as domestic contributors like politicians and citizen journalists (Young 2010, pp.205-216).
But is everyone doing the right thing?
Tumblr media
Digital citizenship has many definitions and it’s probably best to nail it down using some academic opinions that range from;
Attitudes and participation in politics and policy (Mossberger, Tolbert & McNeal 2008, pp.4-9),
Beliefs such as freedom of speech, welfare and dignity (Isin & Ruppert 2015, pp.19-23).
Appropriate dealings using internet tools across finance, ethical and moral considerations, health and well-being, people, values, the environment and more (Crockett (2015, pp.39-40 ).
Digital citizenship is about a person’s behaviour online, their responsibilities and how they contribute.
Our civic culture links politics and society, contributing to an effective political system. Civic culture includes the way we communicate about politics online, as well as things like respect, trust and consensus. It connects with digital citizenship to provide positive actions by populations according to Couldrey et al. (2014, pp.615-617).
Social media is a big player in our civic culture, to the tune of 3.4 billion social media accounts worldwide (Statistica 2018). Political parties, activist groups, commentators and even internet trolls have a line to huge audiences in either a one-size-fit capacity, or differentiated to suit their tastes through networked individualism. Unprecedented numbers of social media users mean increased capacity for engagement. Obama was the benchmark for this in 2008.
Tumblr media
Influencers through social media may not be what they seem, though. They may not even be real.
In the 2016 U.S. Presidential Election, fake social media accounts designed through computer code to act human were used. Social media robots searched for phrases/hashtags, followed accounts and even judged opinion. Organisations like Pandora can create an artificial intelligence, while less-advanced code is available online for budget-conscious, propaganda enthusiasts (Bessi & Ferrara, 2016).
Recently, Oxford University writers revealed political interference across numerous geographical borders (Howard & Woolley 2018, pp.6-7).  In relation to the United States 2016 Presidential Election, the authors described ‘armies of bots’ influencing the vote on social media (2018, pp.190-193).
Tumblr media
Political opinions across social media, amateur or otherwise, have been called into question. Social media entrepreneurs seem reluctant to act as fake news and fake accounts are used strategically over networks.
Indeed, financial values attributed by markets to those social media organisations are heavily influenced by user and traffic quantities and may be causing a reluctance to self-regulate. Responsibility to act falls somewhere between the complex debate on government regulation, corporate citizenship described by Hoff-Clausen & Ihlen (2015, pp.18-35) and digital citizenship by the individuals controlling and within those platforms.
In the interview below, Samantha Bradshaw indicated bots are widespread. Some for good purposes and some not (Y Combinator 2019). There is no question that political players and commentators now engage using social media, but are they acting responsibly or interfering with a sovereign state’s democratic process if they use bots?
What’s your views on fake news and social media accounts across Facebook and other networks?

Former AS Roma manager Paulo Fonseca is one of the footballers who became a hot topic in the transfer market last summer.
After breaking up with AS Roma, it is likely that Tottenham Hotspur will take over as manager Jose Mourinho. Tottenham Hotspur's appointment as manager has become a reality, as British media have announced the date of Fonseca's press conference.
However, it was not long before the news broke that Tottenham had broken their deal with Fonseca. Coincidentally, it is the day that Gennaro Gattuso resigned from his post as manager of Fiorentina. Local media speculated that Tottenham had broken negotiations with Fonseca to make a sharp turn to Gattuso.
Moreover, in the process, it became even more topical when it was announced that Tottenham had notified manager Fonseca of the breakdown of the negotiations with a single phone call.
A reversal occurred for manager Fonseca, who had lost his job after receiving a unilateral rejection notice.
Newcastle United, which has been transformed into one of the world's richest clubs after being acquired by Saudi Arabia's Sovereign Wealth Fund (PIF), has reached out to Fonseca.
The British Telegraph reported on the 22nd (Korean time) that "Newcastle are going to offer Fonseca a managerial position, with an annual salary of 6 million pounds (about 9.7 billion won)."
Newcastle picked Fonseca from several candidates, including former Bournemouth manager Eddie Howe and former Dortmund manager Lucien Fabre.
British journalist Duncan Castle reported that when Fonseca negotiated with Tottenham, his net salary was 2.5 million euros (about 3.4 billion won). If you accept Newcastle's offer, your salary will triple.
Moreover, Saudi Arabia's management team is aiming to dominate Europe in the next few years, and plans to build on its financial strength, such as Manchester City and Paris Saint-Germain. It is certain that local media will jump into player reinforcement from the winter transfer window. Coach Fonseca cut wages for four months in AS Roma last year due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Newcastle are preparing to sack manager Steve Bruce and appoint a new manager. The Daily Mail explained that Newcastle had paid manager Bruce a penalty of 8 million pounds (about 12.9 billion won).

A total of 25 parties and blocs were running for seats in the National Assembly. After electoral system amendments approved in April 2021, members of parliament are elected only through closed party lists by party list proportional representation method. Parties and alliances (blocs) need to pass the 5% and 7% threshold, respectively, to make it to the parliament.
According to preliminary results, Civil Contract, Hayastan and “I have Honor” blocs will have seats in the National Assembly, although the latter has not passed the 7% threshold. According to Armenian law, however, if only two forces have secured enough votes, mandates are also given to the third force with the most votes.

Fitch revises Saudi National Bank’s outlook on lender’s resilience and improving environment
Fitch Ratings upgraded Saudi National Bank’s outlook from negative to stable, citing its robust financial metrics and improving operating environment.
The rating agency also confirmed the lender’s long-term issuer default rating of “A-”. It awarded a national long-term investment grade rating of “AA + (sau)” with a stable outlook.
“The revision of the outlook reflects our view that the pressure on the operating environment from the pandemic and lower oil prices has eased sufficiently and that the bank’s financials have been resilient over the past few quarters despite those pressures,” said Fitch.
“The strong growth in financing will continue to support the bank’s key figures in 2021.”
The lender’s net income rose 20 percent to 3.4 billion Saudi riyals ($ 907 million) in the first quarter, helped by higher fee income and lower depreciation expenses as the kingdom’s economy recovered from the Covid-19 pandemic has been.
Brent, the international benchmark for up to two-thirds of global oil, rose 0.59 percent to close at $ 73.51 on Friday, the end of the trading week. West Texas Intermediate, the measure of US crude oil, rose 0.84 percent to close at $ 71.64.
Fitch said the SNB’s “A-” viability rating, which reflects its assessment of the lender’s creditworthiness, is backed by “a strong company profile that supports well-diversified and resilient earnings, strong funding and liquidity, and solid asset quality and capitalization “.
The SNB, Saudi Arabia’s largest lender, was created through the merger of the National Commercial Bank and smaller rival Samba Financial Group. It began operations on April 1 and has more than 896 billion riyals ($ 239.2 billion) in assets.
The bank’s exposure in the retail segment fell from 50 percent to 39 percent of total loans at the end of last year due to Samba’s strong focus on companies, the rating agency said.
The SNB’s retail lending is expected to increase between this year and 2022 due to the high appetite for this segment, backed by strong domestic business, Fitch said.
“We believe that the strengthening of the business area, the promotion of non-interest-bearing customer deposits and the rapid credit growth in the high-interest mortgage segment will support the SNB’s income generation,” said the rating agency.
In addition to improving business conditions, this should support a recovery in the core profitability metric by 2022, it said.
The Public Investment Fund, the sovereign wealth fund of the Kingdom, is the largest shareholder in the SNB with 37.2 percent. The public pension fund holds 7.4 percent and the General Social Security Organization holds 5.8 percent of the lender.
Saudi Arabia announced last week that it was merging general insurance and public pension funds to create a public entity with $ 29 billion in domestic and overseas equity holdings.
The combination of the two state funds is an extension of “continuous reforms” and part of an organizational restructuring process in line with the Kingdom’s Vision 2030 goals, Finance Minister Mohammed Al Jadaan said on Thursday.

okay holy shit summer andria is ridiculous in a kengo set up wtf
like im sorry summer kolulu your spot was shot lived in my kengo set up ;A; though your importance in 3-turn full-auto farming the lv 90 gw boss will not be forgotten (and even if i had gotten summer andria before gw she wouldn’t have been as practical for the gw impossible raids since the bosses normal attacks hit all allies, so it would have just constantly immediately eaten her infinite diversity buff). but dear god, against the test runs i did on shiva... bc kengo team has such stupid chargebar  gain from ccw and vajra... ougi’s are basically almost every other turn (which i’ve recently discovered might actually be causing me problems in the def down debuff actually lasting long enough bc even tho battle rate is on fast and ougi’s are on skip im finding debuffs wearing off before getting applied again and i do not have this issue with any other team). and so andria has lots of chances to ougi with infinite diversity, so double ougi, which means 4-turn cut to second skill, so second skill ends up having really close to 100% up time, the third time that skill is cast it’s +30% charge, but everyones got boosted charge bar gain, in comparison it gives herself like 50% charge, but i only have 1 emp filled out now and it’s 1 node is chargebar gain, so i’m interested so see how that’s going to work out once its filled. i have her in second position bc that’s where im used to keeping my flex spot, but honestly i could probably put her in 3rd and move vajra to second. her bonus damage on ougi (for foes with mizuzaru debuff) will sit around ~990,000 and then once pholia’s trance absolution is off cool down and i can apply it to andria it jumps up to 1.1 mil extra damage. turning her ougi’s into 3.4~3.9 mil + 1.1 mil WHICH OFTEN GETS TO ACTIVATE TWICE, so LIKE SOMETIMES WE GETTIN THIS ADD UP TO 5MIL OUGI (x2), and THATS MORE DAMAGE PER OUGI THAN FRICKING 5* VAJRA IS HITTING (Bc Vajra seems to setting in the 4.6 range with an ocassional jump up to 4.8). AND I DOn’T HAVE ANY NODES IN HER SKILL DAMAGE CAP EMP YET. im cry bc my kengo team looks like its composed entirely of children: war criminal in her 30′s but her heigh was stunted because of magic making people think she’s a child (but she actually like being treated like a kid by strangers bc she’s always treated extremely formally/seriously as a sovereign) also fluffy doggo friend actual 10 year old 14 year old and her big fluffy doggo and puppy pack 22 year old harvin could easily be mistaken for a kid bc gbf equivalent of halfling also planning to use her brother as a puppet ruler to get revenge on her uncle for experimenting on orphans, she’s ready to commit murder cagliostro the thousands of years old founder of alchemy who used alchemy to make herself a body to transition and looks like an ambiguously young anime girl AND IS SOMEHOW 3 CM SHORTER THAN THE 10 YEAR OLD. CAGI WHAT DO YOU ME YOU ARE 4′3′’ I THOUGHT YOU WERE TALLER THAN THAT. anyways im getting super distracted

Comparison Between The Two Countries of Singapore And Brunei Darussalam
1.Singapore
Tumblr media
officially the Republic of Singapore, is a sovereign island city-state in maritime Southeast Asia. It lies about one degree of latitude (137 kilometres or 85 miles) north of the equator, off the southern tip of the Malay Peninsula, bordering the Straits of Malacca to the west, the Riau Islands (Indonesia) to the south, and the South China Sea to the east. The country's territory is composed of one main island, 63 satellite islands and islets, and one outlying islet, the combined area of which has increased by 25% since the country's independence as a result of extensive land reclamation projects. It has the second greatest population density in the world. The country has almost 5.7 million residents, 61% (3.4 million) of whom are Singaporean citizens. There are four official languages of Singapore: English, Malay, Chinese and Tamil. English is the lingua franca.
2.Brunei Darussalam
Tumblr media
Brunei Darussalam is a sovereign ASEAN member country located on the island of Borneo. Brunei shares the island's territory with Malaysia and Indonesia. The area of Brunei Darussalam is 5,765 km² with 161 kilometers of coastline to the South China Sea and a 381 km border with Malaysia. The area of this country is comparable to the island of Bali in Indonesia. Speak the National Malay Language The population of Brunei is 464,478 people. And approximately 80,000 people live in the capital.
according to my comparison between these two countries is first, the people of Brunei Darussalam are predominantly Muslim, while Singapore is predominantly Buddhist.second, the head of government of Brunei Darussalam is the Sultan, while the head of government of Singapore is the Prime Minister.third, the ceremonial position of the head of state in Singapore is held by the President, while in Brunei Darussalam it is the Sultan.and finally, in my opinion, Singapore is a country that has a very small area and has no mining products. But even so, this country has succeeded in progressing & its per capita income is high. While Brunei Darussalam is a country that has many advantages such as tax-free, cheap fuel prices, strong government, very low crime rates., and the latter has a stable economy.

Mexican finances and economy during the pandemic
In this pandemic period, the world economy has been severely affected internationally and full of uncertainty. What will happen regarding the impact on the health of the population? When will a vaccine be available and when will there be doses for all human beings? How long will it take for the economy to recover? What financial effects will the outbreaks that have occurred in various countries have? These are just some of the doubts that have arisen. Next, I will explain some of these issues, as well as some information that can help clarify some questions.
Our country has been one of the countries most affected by COVID-19, approaching one million cases with a percentage of almost 10% of deaths according to the latest official figures. The economic scenario does not differ much from the health scenario: it is estimated that 2020 GDP will be -9.8% and for 2021 a timid recovery of 3.4 percent is forecast. For its part, the exchange rate is quoted around 21.00 pesos per dollar, equivalent to a depreciation of 10%, with respect to the initial level of the year.
On the other hand, the fall in the price of oil, generated by the scarcity of demand at a global level, significantly affected the country. Such was its impact that the rating agencies lowered Pemex's debt rating and sovereign issues, this opened the possibility of further downgrades in the credit rating, which means a possible loss of investment grade for Mexico.
The International Labor Organization (ILO) reported that in Mexico 44% of total employment is at high risk of being affected by the pandemic; that is, some 24 million workers who could experience a decrease in hours or wages; it even warns that the unemployment rate could reach 11.7% of the economically active population this year, equivalent to six million people. During the quarantine to stop the COVID-19, informal employment fell to 47.7%, which represents a historical drop, caused not by formalization but by a significant loss of informal jobs. The policies that the Mexican government has taken to grant an extraordinary unemployment subsidy in certain states or microcredits for companies has not been enough, and in any case what should be considered is to strengthen the measures directed towards the most vulnerable groups in the market labor.
According to ILO estimates, the sectors most affected are: manufacturing industries, wholesale and retail trade, real estate services, and lodging and food and beverage preparation services.
Within this environment of losses in value at a global level, investments in Mexican investment instruments show a slight recovery compared to those of other emerging countries. Apparently this process will be slow and it may take at least three years to exceed pre COVID-19 levels in all indices, both economic and financial.

Fables - 3.4 (Isabel)
Isabel’s desire to gush and indulge in feminine conversation was cut short when a male approached them, offering his hand for a dance. She watched the other girl take the opportunity eagerly, only giving her an encouraging smile with a faint lift of her shoulders. Even the wink the gentleman gave her was redeemed with a polite, single nod. There was no feeling of loss or bitterness there; Isabel had Gabriel on her mind anyway. . .
At the thought of him she looked over her shoulder, hazels seeking his familiar figure near the banquet tables of alcohol. Her quick search was deemed unsuccessful. She was on the verge of moving in the direction Gabe disappeared to when Alan accompanied her with the glissade of a ballerina, graceful and smooth as if he slid through water rather than air. His bow was limber and received with a small giggle from Isabel, her vermillion-colored lips curving upward into a dimpled grin beneath her black, lacy mask. It seemed like he had no idea who he was about to dance with, to which delighted her as her ‘corny one-liners’ came back to mind. This was a chance to make him laugh or flatter him silly, anything to earn those brownie points after her terrible track record in the past few months.
And that smile faltered quickly after as her hand reached for Alan’s, just to have it thieved from its destination in a harmonious prolapse, almost like their hands naturally gravitated towards one another. The young wolf looked up and was immediately enraptured by piercing blue hues. Anonymity was definitely not King Abelio’s intention for tonight, and if his eyes didn’t give away his identity or his outright discourteousness towards Alan, his outfit was significant enough.
A deep flush blossomed across caramel features, mostly obscured by her facial adornment but enough to reach her neck and ears. She wasn’t sure if it was because of the sudden heat encompassing her or if it was because she felt stuck in the middle of an awkward situation. And where was Gabriel?!
“Oh.. wow, you’re both so lovely. How does a girl choose?” She purred, attempting to diffuse the tension.
Isabel’s grip on the Seelie King’s hand became firmer, accepting this new turn of events without noticeable hesitation. There was one brief moment where she glanced over her shoulder to perhaps catch sight of Gabe, but again it was pointless. She hoped he wouldn’t feel too left out -- she was his date after all; hopefully they’d reunite later. Not to mention, the thought of denying the King was instinctively revoked. It was only yes, yes, yes. And with one last look at Alan and his perturbed expression, she was whisked away onto the dance floor. Of course she wasn’t expecting her first dance to be with the King, but it was a favorable circumstance nonetheless.
When it came to ballroom dancing, Abelio was matched in skill as Isabel knew every step. Instead of learning to walk as a toddler, her mother had her studying the art of salsa among other choreography. It was one thing to play with fire. . . but to dance with it? Isabel mentally sent up a spanish prayer to not break out in nervous sweat. She could feel his warmth surround them as they moved like professional performers in a crowd of ammature pairings (this unexpected confidence coming from an unknown, fiery place inside of her). The Queen’s potential jealousy or other onlookers didn’t even cross her mind as King Abelio spoke.
She tsked at him after being guided into a twirl with a perfectly calculated roll of his wrist, her black gown shimmering like the night sky contrasting to his bright attire. “You’re aren’t supposed to know who I am, señor.” She feigned ignorance, but both of them knew that she was just teasing him. How did he know her identity? What if she was too bold? And what did he mean by her refreshing fealty? Was he signifying her past; did he even know? These inquiries caused palpitations to quicken beneath her breastbone. What made it worse was that he was looking specifically into her eyes like maybe he had the ability to read her very soul and set it on fire from within.
No pressure, right? Please, Isabel.. Don’t say something stupid. “Well you are my sovereign, King Abelio. My loyalty and worship is easy to give to such a benevolent being as yourself. Without the sun there would be no life. I would just hope that I continue to be a worthy subject under your reign, your Majesty.”

South Africa's Defense Budget Analysis (FY 2020), Competitive Landscape and Forecasts
South Africa’s Defense Budget Analysis (FY 2020), Competitive Landscape and Forecasts
Summary
South Africa’s Defense Budget Analysis (FY 2020), Competitive Landscape and Forecasts report provides the market size forecast and the projected growth rate for the next five years. The report covers industry analysis including the key market drivers, emerging technology trends, and major challenges faced by market participants. It also offers insights regarding key factors and government programs that are expected to influence the demand for military platforms over the forecast period.
South Africa’s defense budget for FY 2020 is set at US$3.3 bn, slightly decreased from the previous year of US$3.4 bn. While the South African defense budget is predicted to grow in absolute terms, the defense budget has seen a relative decrease in relation to GDP share. This trend is likely to continue in a struggling economic landscape as spending on defense has been constrained due to a variety of factors such as the economic downturn in South Africa, the downgrade of the country to sovereign ‘junk status’ by Moody’s in March FY 2020, and allegations of corruption within the ANC government.
South Africa has also been one of the hardest-hit countries by the COVID-19 pandemic, with over half a million cases recorded adding to the country’s economic woes. This will affect defense spending in the FY 2021 period, with no increase to the defense budget predicted.
This report offers detailed analysis of South Africa’s defense market with market size forecasts covering the next five years. This report will also analyze factors that influence demand for the industry, key market trends, and challenges faced by industry participants.
In line with South Africa’s 2015 Defense Review, the DoD has attempted to ‘arrest the decline’ of SANDF through a variety of modernization projects and investment in acquisition projects. With an eye on expanding economic maritime potential by 2033 through ‘Operation Phakisa’, South Africa has also invested in a number of maritime procurements such as the flagship production of a new Hydrographic Survey Vessel. South Africa witnessed an increase in terms of exports in 2019, with missiles accounting for the largest export category in the historic period.
