Hey!!! I love love LOVE your hair and I really want something similar, and was wondering if you had any tips? Do you dye it yourself, or go to a hairdresser, and how often do you fix it up? xx :))
oh damn, thanks so much!
But to be perfectly honest anon, it’s a lot of work haha! Now, I started the process (again) in January, where I went from the being dark, the same shade as the dark in these pictures, to bleaching the left side.
from the baaack...
and the front!
I wanna be perfectly clear that I do this at a salon, with professionals, my cousin is working there, which is why I can afford this shit, and the bleach is not normal bleach, but made for damaged hair. I dye my hair all the time, (Brown, blonde pink, blue, split, red, purple, back to pink, etc oofh), so they’re pretty careful with it.
Then, last week, after I cure the hell out of my hair all the time, use coco butter and is just generally very careful, I went back and dyed the dark side a tad darker, to get better contrast, and went over the blonde part to fix it up, and dye it a cooler shade on top. Notice I said dyed it cooler, NOT bleached! No more bleach for me, except my roots!
Then, because none of these are my natural color (honestly I have no clue what that even is at this point oofh), I have to go in and fix my roots every 6-8th week, at the salon, and fix my bangs, because my hair grows like holy hell.
And THEN, then comes the every day care!
I have a horse which I try to ride every day, and I do yoga quite a lot, so I naturally have to shower every day, and every time I’ve had my helmet on I have to wash my hair. I use a purple toner shampoo and conditioner on the blonde side, but that’s hella expensive, so I try not to use it on the darker parts to not waste it.
Also, I cure it a lot, and sleep with coco butter in it over night at least once a week!
Well, that was long and probably very un-intersting to most of ya’ll, but I hope it helped you, anon! Let me know if you decide to do it, and how it turns out!
