The world had changed ever since the introduction of super heroes. They were like gods, but not. Similar and yet not feared as Ray had expected them to be. No, they were turned into celebrities instead, held on pedestals and yet not worshipped. Odd.

But their powers were interesting, always so glowy. And flashy. Always flashy.

Today only proved that as the hybrid looked towards the commotion in the street. Funny how where there were heroes there were always villains. Such an endless cycle, and it amused her. More so when the girl, fighting amongst the chaos, had looked over at Rya's compliment. Which she had meant. There was nothing like a beauty and a little violence to start the day.

"Oh no, I think I'll stay right here," both a hand and tentacle raised in a dismissive gesture, her voice soft and far too sweet. "You don't need to worry about me. Just keep doing what you're doing, sweetie."

The other girl sadly hadn't seen Deku or the villain but she was nice enough to suggest searching for either of them and Ochako smiled.

"Thanks for trying to help. I was forced the slipt up to bring the civilians go safety." She began to go back the way she came from and the escaping civilians were a good indicator on where the villain was. "If we don't find them, it could be that they have moved to another location."

Gwen continued to dodge her opponent's attacks, though as the enclosed space restricted her mobility, it was inevitable that she'd eventually take a hit. Although Gwen was lucky enough for the blast to just barely hit her, it was enough to tear her mask and knock her into a nearby wall.

"Shit... She's strong..." The young woman groaned and pushed herself back up off of the ground, staring up at her alien opponent. "Come on, can't we talk about this like adults?"

This wasn't good. With such little room for web-slinging, Gwen was at a severe disadvantage. She needed a plan, and fast.

The ravenette was delighted that her friend liked the dish. She put her heart and soul into making them and they were a big part of her family growing up. Her mother taught her how to make them as a little girl and Al included a secret recipe only her family knows.

"They're tamales and I made them! My mom would make them for me as a little girl. I'm glad that you like them and glad that I put the right amount of spices too!"

cold blue eyes glance at the dark haired woman before her. from her peripheral vision, she thought it was starfire at first, the alien in front of her shared a striking resemblance to terra's former friend and teammate. it almost startled her, but when the apprentice turned around to face her, she realized it was not.

there was a strange combination of disappointment and relief flooding through terra when she realized it was a stranger before her, and not her former friend. she was glad, she supposed, that it wasn't star. at least there didn't have to be any fighting--for now, anyway.

this woman before her could still very much be a threat.

"you know that saying--enemy of my enemy is my friend." she said, voice void of emotion. the irony of that. terra only had enemies.

"still, don't know you. and why should i trust you? you're risking a lot as it is, being here. i'm going to assume you know who i work with--for."

Home Sweet Home

Starfire was in her room working on some crafts. It was to be a lazy day for the team, at least unless trouble would ring them out of it, so she had decided that it was the perfect day to work on this project of hers some more. That was, until she heard a voice - a very familiar voice, but one neither she nor any other of her teammates had heard in person for a while. It was in person this time though, so Starfire instantly perked up, dropped her craft-project and instead flitted out of her room. "Beast Boy!" She found him in the Ops room, either being the first one to come or perhaps her friends weren't even in the Tower currently - but regardless, she beamed at Beast Boy and clasped her (still somewhat glitter-covered) hands together. "Oh, it is wonderful to see you again, Beast Boy! I thought you were only returning soon?" As in, not yet today. But of course, the earlier the better! "You have changed your uniform!" (Continued from here.) --- Beast Boy was bouncing in place as Starfire spoke. His other friends may be elsewhere right now, but seeing any of his friends in person had him excited beyond words. “Starfire! Ha!” He sprinted before leaping (tackling?) into the Tamaranean. “I missed you so much!” he exclaimed as he wrapped the other in as tight a bear hug as he could manage without becoming an actual bear. “Did you miss me?! Hopefully not too much, because the old Beast Boy is gone! I’m the new and improved Beast Boy!” He relinquished his grip and stepped back, gesturing grandly to himself. “New duds, new hair, new muscles!”

Flexing, it was indeed apparent he’d grown stronger while he was gone.

Not only is an RP blog for Bartz pretty cool because from what I’ve seen, the older Final Fantasy games seem to slip through the cracks a bit when it comes to the fandom and the RPC but this is a blog I’ve admired for a long time now - they’re really friendly and adventurous and up for anything.  Much like Bartz in that sense!

It wasn’t the first time someone tried to be poetic and drown the guy who used hydro kinesis. He would slowly get himself free from the weights as he swam himself up and up, before getting up to the docks. What was worse, that water was freezing. The people who had thrown him into the drink were taken out, he wasn’t sure by who, till a rather warm familiar presence was in his senses. 

“Hey. S-s-star. Don’t t-t-tell me you are getting sweet on my all of a sudden.” He was clearly chilled over from his dip, even with him throwing the water off of him and laying on the dock. “S-s-s-shit, why did they have to try to be ironic. Just shoot me if you want to be read of some c-lister.” he coughed out and sighed. 

“Sometimes I hate the water.”

Robin embraced her in a hug that was a little too tight for him. “It’s nice to see you too Star.” He said with a slight groan from the tight but welcomed hug from a friend.

Robin let out a soft sigh when she asked about the mission. He wasn’t pleased with how his solo mission but when was he ever pleased about those?. Robin stood there for a second recollecting on the amount of people he interrogated trying to squeeze intel out of. “The mission…it went okay. I managed to get a few small leads but I need more.” He said with a stern voice.

Robin rubbed his hair in stress just thinking about what the next steps are. He gave Starfire a small smile, “So how have you and the rest of the team been?”

     While they were all Titans, there was no denying the stark contrast in acceptance and recognition between the different Towers. Everyone knew the names Robin, Starfire, Raven, Cyborg, and Beast Boy. They were renown heroes, and had paved their own path forward. However, some part of Roy felt as if the Titans East were climbing their way out of the shadows.

     He wasn’t a hero for recognition or fame, but he did want his name known. He wanted people to see Speedy as a pillar for security. The fact it’d become commonplace for people to mistake him as Robin left his a bit disgruntled. Arms crossed as he rested on the Go City Tower’s sofa, his eyes lifted to Starfire. She was kind and amicable as always... If only he could have an ounce of her positive attitude. Insecurities, however, weren’t a very forgiving thing.

     ❛ Some kid thought I was Robin again... ❜ He answered plainly, not bothering to hide the irritation to his tone.

    ❛ I know he didn’t mean anything by it, but I’m getting kind of tired of feeling like we’re some kind of second-rate heroes in comparison to you guys. ❜

Swiftly, Masamune was able to save the unconscious hero. Checking their puse to see if there was still life to them. Which thankfully there was as he sighed with relief. Hearing the woman speak about how he would meet his end like the other heroes. Turning to see her launching herself at him. Which he grabbed the saya (sheath) and using his left thumb to push the tsuba to break the seal between his katana and his sheath. Which he glared at the other watching them get closer.... then placing his hands upon the tsuka/handle of Ameterasu he unsheathed it swiftly with the katana itself being white hot swiping it sideways. 

“Please.... let me take them somewhere safe. Away from our battle so that may recover in peace and not be killed upon the battlefield.” The wolf faunus said, looking at the other with a soft glare to it.

The spy asked excitedly before grabbing the plate. It looked like a moist slice of cake but exotic-looking with things sticking out on both sides. The super spy did mention to Starfire that she wanted to try a dish from her home planet and now she's having the chance to. Inspecting the outlandish dessert for several seconds, the yellow spy takes a little chunk of the cake and tastes it. The ravenette takes an instant liking to it.

"Wowza! This is delish! It tastes like...like sushi but a little spicy."
