I bet Rkelly enablers is scared af that they coming for them next #SurvivingRKelly
Face it, Poor & delusional R. Kelly fans. He ain’t coming home. Stop wasting good gas & shoe leather going to these trials. Y’all is 76. Let it go. Let’s start there. He destroyed numerous lives. He will spend the rest of his in jail. He’s past help.
The one thing that I take from watching or learning about Surviving R. Kelly and the way black women are rallying for that man KNOWING what he did, reminds me of Tory Lanez and the way black females will not support Meg. Very sad. 😞
speaking of this the fact that a white woman crime reporter has more credibility than those “black “ gossip girls who are really not for black folks and definitely not for black woman is worthy of shame in our society. Imagine being the type of nigcels or pick me willingly slutting yourself out for some irredeemable degenerate who isn’t gonna respect you or have sexual relations with your dumb self anyways can’t relate I got an education and standards.
“The thing that I’ve learned the most is that nobody matters less, than black girls” ~ Jim DeRogatis.
Give that man his flowers becuz he LISTENED!!! 😢
Any fan who supports those types of irredeemable bastards need to be blocked, muted, unfollowed, and burn in Dante’s inferno because hell ain’t good enough for me. Harriet Tubman shouldn’t have come to save those pick mes and nigcels ancestors some of them should’ve been capped

Lock ‘em up
I try not to judge parents. Before I became a mother, I was the world’s most perfect parent and while certain things are non negotiable, I can say that actually being a full time mother and not a temporary caregiver, is different. It’s like comparing being married to being in a long term relationship, there are many similarities but it’s something about adding that title and the legal aspect that have tested even the strongest and lengthiest relationships. Both may seem like practice but there is no true practice for parenthood, not even caring for nieces, nephews, cousins, teaching, or being a caregiver. It’s all completely different and you don’t know what you don’t know. But like I said, there are things I do judge parents on and one of those is agreeing to anything that compromises the safety and wellbeing of your child in anyway, shape or form and pretty much giving your daughter to man who is a well known sexual deviant is one of those things.
Recently, R. Kelly’s ex-goddaughter testified in his Chicago trial, the one who was featured in the infamous tape in the early 2000s. That tape, and don’t lie and say you haven’t seen it because I know many people who knowingly watched child pornography because they wanted to see if it was really him. The only reason they couldn’t prosecute everyone who saw or sold the tape, is because the world’s entire resources would be used trying everyone. It was that popular. And everyone knew it was him and many people knew who the underaged girl was in that tape but she and her family denied it and it’s hard to defend a victim who denies she’s the victim. Her parents willingly obstructed justice and now that the money and perks are gone, they, like everyone else want to share their story to avoid culpability but they’re all wrong. The time to tell was 20 years ago when he was on trial. This could have saved their daughter and many other daughters years of pain and abuse and they can try to throw the blame to the aunt for introducing her and even instructing her but it ultimately falls on the parents.
It is one thing to take a monetary judgement because you know proper justice won’t be served but it is another thing to willingly aid and abet the grown man who was sexually abusing your child. According to many people and the court testimony, they allowed R. Kelly’s people to pick their daughter up from school and they allowed her to sleep at the studio or at his house. It became so obvious what was going on that people called Sparkle to warn her, who in turn called her sister and brother-in-law  and even called CPS but the parents denied it and continue to allow it to happen. Sparkle is in the wrong for introducing the niece to him but that’s where the blame ends. If Sparkle was there and encouraging her niece to do the things she was alleged to have done, including making her sit on his lap and rub his head, then she deserves to be locked up too but once the parents were made aware of what was happening and they did not stop it, the onus goes from Sparkle to the parents. If something is going on with my 14 year old daughter and I am made aware of it and I turn a blind eye and go “la la la I’m not listening” then I can’t be mad when it blows up. It’s not their fault, it’s mine.
There are two professions where you see the true jacked up, selfish nature of people and that is police officers and journalists. Doctors usually see the aftermath of what happened, which doesn’t make it any less traumatizing but seeing and reading the details of what actually happened and what led up to it, there is nothing like it. As a journalist, I have read many charging documents detailing the things people have done and have allowed to be done to their children and let’s just say, if people got the heads of out the sand and stopped being in denial, nothing about parents willingly selling their underaged daughters to a rich and powerful man would not surprise you.
I believe the father of the victim cried on the stand while watching the video and ultimately denying it was his daughter because he knew at that moment he sold his soul to R. Kelly. I don’t know what R. Kelly told them to get them to willingly go along with helping to throw his trial but I wonder if it was worth it. A middle class/working family was magically able to afford trips to luxurious places such as a six month vacation to South France and once they came back, she was allegedly moved into a hotel away from her parents, all while being underaged and R. Kelly being on trial for her abuse. After the trial ended and he was acquitted, due to her parents cooperation and willingness to all but sell their daughter to a sexual deviant, she continued to live with him and even be in his presence until a few years ago. I get that she wants to protect her parents and her family, who have benefited from her trauma financially and career wise with opportunities to play for R. Kelly and other Chicago based musicians but she can’t put all of this on her aunt. If something happens to one of my daughters while she is in the care of their aunt and I find out, it is no longer on the aunt to protect her. It is on me. I am her mother and one of two people that can legally sign anything on her behalf. She is my responsibility, not her aunt’s.
Money and access talks and buys. One of the reasons why R. Kelly was able to get away with what he got away with for so many years, even after the trial, was because he had money and could buy people off. R. Kelly gave out a lot of settlements to the young women and their families for years before the first trial. People knew but they were willing to turn a blind eye because of money. I think the only reason the family of the victim is willing to cooperate is because once he was muted and went to jail, the money was gone, as were the benefits in being associated with him, so there was no use in protecting him. I also think it is CYA because the prosecutors want R. Kelly, not because they magically care about disenfranchised young black women being abused by an R&B superstar, it’s because he embarrassed them the first time. There is nothing worse than losing a trial simply because the defendant was able to buy off his victim and her family. The Cook County prosecutor also needs to be careful because he was found not guilty and trying him again for the tape and sexual assault of Jane Doe can cause a mistrial like the one in the case of Bill Cosby. He may have outsmarted the system but they have to take the “L” because trying him again on charges he legally, not morally, beat is a recipe for disaster and can ruin the entire case. He already got 30 years, tread carefully.
There are a lot of people, parents involved, who need to be in prison for obstruction of justice because while R. Kelly is undoubtedly disturbed and used his money to do disturbing things, there were a lot of people who willingly helped him and a lot of parents who knowingly put their child in harm’s way in hopes that they would be the “next Aaliyah” or they would get the payoff that Jane Doe’s family did and they were paid quite nicely. I can say, that if everything was true, that they truly did benefit from their association with the devil, I mean R. Kelly. The mother is also a pastor in the Chicagoland area, do with that what you will.

Twitter reacts to R. Kelly’s guilty verdict
The embattled singer was found guilty of racketeering and sex trafficking in a New York federal court.
Tumblr media
Today (Sept. 27), it’s been announced that the jury overseeing R. Kelly’s trial have reached a decision. The embattled singer was found guilty of all charges related to racketeering and sex trafficking. The verdict follows six weeks of testimony from R. Kelly’s accusers, as well as former employees that have worked under him. As previously reported by REVOLT, the jury, consisting of seven men and five women, heard from dozens of witnesses for a little more than three weeks.
Kelly — who’s full name is Robert Sylvester Kelly— was arrested by U.S. Homeland Security and the NYPD in Chicago back in July of 2019, months after being hit with 10 charges related to aggravated criminal sexual abuse. A day after said arrest, the number of charges then increased to 18, and included child sexual exploitation, child pornography production, kidnapping, forced labor, racketeering, and obstruction of justice. Additional filings in Chicago and New York raised that number again to 22 in February and March of last year.
For many, the jury’s decision helps to add closure to a saga that has lasted for decades, beginning with R. Kelly’s relationship with the late singer Aaliyah. In January of 2019, Dream Hampton teamed up with Joel Karsberg, Jesse Daniels, and Tamra Simmons to executive produce the Lifetime documentary “Surviving R. Kelly,” which detailed Kelly’s past sexual abuse allegations and saw appearances from artists like Chance The Rapper, John Legend, and Stephanie “Sparkle” Edwards throughout. Since that series premiered, several of Kelly’s former collaborators condemned him in response — RCA Records subsequently dissolved their working relationship with him. Kelly later sat down with Gayle King for a “CBS This Morning” interview, where he vehemently and emotionally denied all of the allegations and charges made against him.

I personally agree with that sentence. Rape and sexual assault is nothing to play with. He needs to be registered as a sex offender and required to stay away from venues where there are children. Black women have went to bat for Black men, protesting the murders of unarmed Black men all over this country and nation….however I don’t see enough Black men being outraged by sexual assault and rape against Black women and girls and that’s concerning. This is as important as the BLM ✊🏾 movement. Fight for Black women and girls. And the thirsty women up on this thread supporting him you sound ridiculous. I see him for what he is a RAPIST.
and Now that he locked up facing his sentence ,everyone who covered up his disgusting actions need to be locked up too. ALL his body guards need to get locked up, his barber, his housekeeper, his maids, his butlers, the parents who sold out their children and let them be abused, ALL OF THEM! Cuz they all knew and I'm sure SEEN what was happening and aint say a damn thing! “The only thing necessary for the triumph of evil is for good men to do NOTHING.” ― Edmund Burke
These women survivors are courageous to tell their story after the threats and public shaming!! I applaud you ...R Kelly is a SICK MONSTER!!!! why did it take so long for him to get a real prosecution? simple: black women voices especially when they are victims of unspeakable abuse aren’t heard until social media platforms, public outrage and pressure makes the nation has no choice but to hear them. if all it takes for black women and girls who been abused to be seen and heard thanks to documentaries and outcry then color me pissed off and yet thankful to God
The same conversation you have with your daughters about consent is the SAME conversation you should be having with your sons. The time you are teaching your daughter to avoid being a victim of a rape, use that same amount of time to educate your sons not to be a rapist
