here are my ops, I'm struggling with sv ex 5, or if you just mean the main stages, I'd like to be able to get sv 8-9 to full clear so I can auto deploy!

With SV-EX-5 you're sort of hitting above your weight as the recommended level is Elite 2 Level 10 and you don't have any E2s (this is important, as you need at least one Elite 2 unit to be able to grab an E2 support. Since EX stages aren't farmable anyway, using a support unit is recommended).
Also, raise your 3 stars! They're much cheaper than higher rarities while also decently strong, and the 3 star roster ensures a well rounded team for any occasion. You're putting all your resources towards operators you can't even promote to Elite Level 2 yet because of how expensive they are while your 3 stars are level 1. Trust me when i say raising them will make this much easier.
if I spend sometime I can probably make a clear for SV-EX-5 approximating your operators, but it might be difficult for a new player to follow. So instead, here's the plan for SV-EX-5. I want you to raise Popukar to around E1L30, and raise Podenco or May (they're the closest 4 stars in your roster) to E2. This will give you two things:
A Centurion to hold the left lane with (which is important as there's a lot of trash in that lane
One E2 unit which you will use to borrow an E2 Weedy with S3 on support. This will trivialize the boss and the entire right lane when done in combination with Gladiia (having Gladiia at E1 is okay). If you don't have a friend with a Weedy, send Shutters#9939 a friend request.
Once you do that, send me another ask and I'll show you a very easy clear (spoiler alert you just use Gladiia to pull the right side into holes, then Weedy to push the boss into a hole too)
But just so I don't leave you empty handed, here's a clear for SV-8 I think you can use.
Now even if I only use Skill 2s on Silverash and Saria here to account for your Silverash and Saria only being E1 and activated skills late to account for your lower operator skill levels, there's still some stat differences you will need to take note of. Feel free to change it up / stack on extra operators as needed. I brought Gladiia and Irene along so you could have extra bodies to throw at the boss as needed.
Some notes:
Chestnut is E1L1 with skill level 4, a very weak medic yet still able to slow down the rate at which operators get stunned. Very important since the bell at this stage cannot be activated by anything other than the robots, which we cannot use as we will try spawncamping the boss. I noticed you have a Chestnut but no other wandering medic, try to match mine at least.
Silverash's S2 gives him lots of survivability because of the enormous regen it gives him which should let him punch the crawlers safely, but just in case I deployed Saria with S2 equipped as well if your own stats are too low. From where Saria stands, her S2 should be able to heal the entire defensive line.
I used Kroos and Steward because my own Amiya and May are way too strong. Feel free to use Amiya (activate S1 ONLY when the boss arrives as Amiya might deal too much damage too fast vs the Crawlers), and use May where Kroos is (S1 equipped)
Beanstalk plays a dual role in this clear, being both a vanguard, a melee block, and a ranged operator able to attack flying enemies. Place her the same way I did in case your May is unable to kill all the flying enemies in time. Your Beanstalk can back her up. Additionally, Beanstalk S2 spawns extra crabs, in case you need help in the bottom lane.
You might notice I deploy Midnight and Cardigan. Midnight's role is just for an extra block to slow down the traffic at bottom and to tank aggro from the flying units to give my sniper more time to hit them. Feel free to replace Midnight as needed. Cardigan on the other hand, is used as an extra body to help Silverash tank the boss and buy time for Steward to hit them (the boss is weak to arts damage). Cardigan can be replaceable with any suitably tanky operator (preferably with a heal). I recommend using your E1 Nearl with S1 equipped.

Anime versus #1
Goku vs saitama. Who would win?.
My answer: possibly a draw... possibly
Let's say goku and saitama meet and fight. Goku doesn't go full power right away which gives saitama the edge cause he could obliterate goku easily but usually when saitama is attacked, he kind of "toys" with the opponent cause he doesn't give a crap about the situation (lol). With that, goku would have a problem keeping up with him and trying to lay a hit on him like with beerus.* or jiren*
After this point, goku would most likely activate super sayian 1 and go at it again but this would make no difference.
Goku would then skip to super sayian blue and try again but at this point saitama will get annoyed and normal punch goku. Goku would take massive damage but won't go down so easily. Goku would then probably use kaioken x10 or 20 to boost stats and go at it once more.
Saitama at this rate would be fighting harder and dodging and blocking and barely getting hit by goku maybe taking only a bit of damage *like in ep 1 where those giant doods came out of the ground and made saitama put in more effort*
Saitama would eventually use his multi punch attack and bring goku down due to this mass power and knock him out.
Goku, would finally go ultra instinct and he's able to dodge everything saitama throw at him with ease but when goku retaliates saitama would most likely dodge as well or block easily.
From there they both are able to cause massive damage and essentially be in a infinite loop of trading blows until they get tired but that isn't likely for either of them since they both at this point have infinite usage of energy and attacks.
With that I say it's technically a draw if you take their skills into full account. But if saitama got serious in the beginning of the fight. He would have MURDERED goku which would give him the win cause goku tends to go base form at the start of a fight.

Three Houses 100% Completion: Refining Those Spreadsheets
To my utter surprise, @symsykins has expressed interest in trying out my long and convoluted idea for a 100% NG+ run of FE16. Far be it from me to stifle the ambitions of a fellow completionist, but as I've made a fair number of updates to the methodology of that post in the months since I wrote it I would be remiss if I didn't publish those changes for the benefit of him or anyone else who wants to try their hand at this absurdity. Sometimes playtesting this stuff can be more entertaining than actually carrying it out....
Additional Parameters
It occurred to me that for "true" 100% completion you also need to complete those things tied to your Switch account rather than individual files. This means filling out the support log, event gallery (Goddess Tower events), and music library. Fun fact: there are exactly 29 Goddess Tower events if the same-sex ones are counted twice as the game does, so provided you plan them out ahead of time you shouldn't have to save scum to get them all.
As mentioned in the earlier post most of this is trivial to complete. The easiest way to raise support points between an active unit and a classroom unit is to have the latter serve as an adjunct during battle. They don't need to have an equipped weapon or be in a class other than noble/commoner, but just having them there will rapidly build supports. Still, it's best to plan out and stagger the number of supports your units take on each run so they're not overloaded. Cross-house supports are one of only two reasons to ever do cross-house recruiting, and they should also be staggered accordingly.
There's also the matter of building up your battalion guild. There are 127 unique battalions to obtain, discounting the Essar Research Group which requires the game's online features and a Switch Online subscription to access. Your guild can fit 200 total battalions in it, so there's ample room to acquire and max out one of each battalion as well as duplicates for the better ones. This is also the only other reason to recruit across houses: to get the three Part 2 paralogues that require it (Ferdinand/Lysithea, Linhardt/Leonie, and Caspar/Mercedes) and so unlock their associated battalions. As with recruiting for cross-house supports, you should only bother doing these once.
One-Time Renown Purchases
You can and should buy all the Renown purchases in Abyss and most of the saint statue bonuses during your first run, using the 10000 Renown bonus from CS and all incidental Renown gained during the run to do so as you can't spend it on anything else. Note that the last bonus for each statue, a boost to units' max stats, is functionally useless for the purposes of this project and so can be left for the second run - a full 10000 Renown you won't have to worry about spending right away. At any rate, however, you'll have amassed enough Renown to complete the saint statues during your second run.
On Monastery Activities
Previously I'd discounted the greenhouse as an unnecessary time sink like fishing and tea time, only to be completed when a quest is involved. However, I find that in non-CF runs you'll quickly start running out of dining hall resources in Part 2 without planting crops, which forces you into the less efficient alternative of running around and throwing gifts at your active units to max out their motivation each week. Therefore I recommend planting vegetables and fruit in the greenhouse throughout Part 1, at which point you can stop because by then you should have accumulated enough resources to cover the rest of the game. Additionally, there are certain glowing blue spots along a typical exploration run route that are guaranteed to drop fish or edible crops - at the stall in front of the fishing pond and on the stalls in the corner of the marketplace where the special merchants gather, namely - which you should check out each month.
Byleth's Level
When Byleth is not an active unit don't bother raising their level higher than 15. This is good enough to recruit all the level-dependent characters (most of the church units), and the only meaningful benefit to going up to 20 is to attempt the proper conduct tournament. However, early on Byleth is unlikely to be able to win the tournament even at 20 without an appropriate class or abilities, and the Renown and brave weapon frankly are not worth the waste of time and space in having them be an adjunct for those five extra levels. Save the tournament for runs where you're actually using Byleth.
Classroom Unit Ranks
A quick correction here. I previously said that Authority should be every character's first priority as a classroom unit, but I no longer believe this is true. With standardized class sets (see further down) it's more important that characters look ahead to the runs they'll be doing in the near future and work on skills relevant to those runs. This especially holds true for banes; a classroom unit can easily take a bane skill as high as B or even A from base over the course of a run, which will help significantly with future certification requirements. Classroom units can work on Authority, but I'd save that for those that have free availability in most or all runs like Anna and the Wolves. The regular students and to a lesser extent non-student characters that join late will want to prioritize their problem skills and build Authority mostly during combat in their active runs.
Route Distribution
I had previously suggested that CF should have the most runs to compensate for Jeritza being awful...but screw that. My current 29 run setup:
6 runs of SS
10 runs of AM
9 runs of VW
4 runs of CF
Notably, this works out to 9 or 10 runs per house which is overall more significant given the advantages in-house units enjoy. The choice to give AM an extra run over VW came down to AM having more exclusive units; VW's one extra week isn't that much of an advantage, not when the Deer lack a Part 2 exclusive and also include Lysithea. But, you ask, can you get away with running CF that little?
Playtesting suggests yes, provided those runs follow some strict parameters: five units only, with three of them being the CF exclusives and the remaining two slots covered by a rotation of the other Eagles. SS runs should precede CF runs whenever possible, to give Edelgard, Hubert, and the rest of their house more classroom time to make up for having to share runs of the shortest route in the game with Jeritza. Jeritza should always hold one of the Knowledge Gems during Part 2, with Edelgard and Hubert sharing the other. The other Eagles can lean on their active use in SS runs to make up for the deficit, and even Edelgard and Hubert can prep for their active runs or finish up skill ranks in SS. Jeritza though....
Number-Crunching Jeritza
To illustrate why I complain about Jeritza as much as I do (from a unit perspective, that is - it's been well-established why I hate him as a character), let's take a particular trouble spot of his as an example. Jeritza has an Authority bane, which means that even with Mastermind and a Knowledge Gem equipped he'll gain no more than 3 points of it during each combat encounter, or 6 if he uses a gambit (not to be relied on given how limited in use per map gambits are). He doesn't have access to any classes that boost Authority, so this is the best it gets. Starting at B Authority means it'll take him 2920 total points to reach S+. Assuming no classroom instruction (because he's got ten other skills to work on, you know) and no gambit use, that works out to him needing about 974 total combat encounters or an average of 244 encounters in each of his four runs.
Is that feasible? If you follow my method of exploring on weekends before instruction weeks and battling on other weekends (and assuming your first run is not CF which...no) there are (3 battles per weekend x 5 calendar months) + 6 chapter maps = 21 battles that Jeritza will fight. Obviously those battles vary in length, but that comes to an average of 12 combat encounters per battle. That's admittedly a bit steep, especially earlier on when few of your other units will have maxed Authority and can be used as adjuncts, but remember that gambits count as two combat encounters and that, more significantly, the other units will eventually max out Authority and allow you to field only three frontline units at a time. It does help that both Edelgard and Hubert have Authority boons, so they should be backline-ready no later than their second active run.
Unfortunately there is one little hiccup to this. CF's first calendar month consists of just one free weekend and the chapter map. As annoying as it is the journal can only be accessed while exploring, which means that on each CF run after the first you'll have to choose between skipping three battles that month or updating Jeritza's skill ranks. You should always choose to battle, because it will help out your other units (who already end up screwed out of a few battles thanks to what choosing CF does to the end of Part 1) and also allow Jeritza to start working on ranks he hadn't touched in earlier runs. The wasted Authority growth is a shame, but at least Jeritza has the base ranks to certify for any beginner class right out the gate so he can pick up a sword/lance/axe/gauntlet/Thunder and still make use of the training time. CF Chapter 13 is also unusually short and will be finished in only a few turns, so it's not a great loss either.
And all that was just for one rank! Hopefully that proves my point about Jeritza sucking, even if mercifully his class masteries and other skill ranks are less of a pain. Even faith can be worked around with bishop and holy knight offering 6 points per combat encounter, although he'll probably want to save his monk run until he can be an adjunct so he's less hobbled by his tiny spell lists.
Standardized Class Sets
Probably the part of this update I'm most proud of, as I put a lot of thought into simplifying one of the more needlessly complex elements of my original setup. Crafting individualized class sets for each character may sound fun on paper, but it's a hassle to keep track of when actually playing the game and doesn't have any substantial benefit. Characters can patch up their banes through classroom training, and furthermore class certification requires nothing higher than A which is a major reason that mastering classes is more of a rote structural element of individual runs than something that requires intricate plotting.
As such, have some standardized sets. These come in male and female versions to account for genderlock and similar considerations, and they apply to all characters except Byleth and the house leaders who have to be handled a bit differently. Noble and commoner are not listed as they're trivial to master; just make sure that non-student characters go back and do so at some point, like when they're being used as adjuncts for supports.
Below each set is a list of the skills needed to guarantee certification in all of the set's classes. This was a useful metric for determining which classes went best where.

There are a lot of sword-based classes, more so than any other weapon or magic type, and that combined with the rarity of sword banes - only Bernadetta and Mercedes - means that often even characters neutral in the skill will max out swords during the course of their myrmidon run.
This run has the distinction of being the only one to not require any of the movement type ranks, which is one reason why gremory is here. The other is that female characters have eight regular master classes as opposed to males' seven, so while when divided across four runs males get a free space here (which Jeritza takes advantage of), females do not. Unfortunately mortal savant is the only master class that proceeds naturally from all the earlier sword classes, but if you'll notice from the male set's requirements there are fairly high reason and faith requirements here even without gremory.
The other oddity is war cleric, which takes the place of assassin (see below) but stands awkwardly as female characters' only serious brawling class. The secondary faith requirement slots easily into a run that also includes trickster, but as I explained in the first post brawling is going to be a problem skill for female characters no matter what you do.
One more note: it's important to consider certain things when deciding which active units will go in which run. Myrmidon runs require the most scrutiny as this is where characters will be dancers, and of course you can only have one of those per run. These runs also require the limited availability Abyssian Exam Passes, one for males and two for females, so keep that in mind as well.

Here we see the major influence of genderlocked classes. Female characters have more obvious lance options thanks to the pegasus classes, whereas males have to take the heavy armor classes instead. This balances out in the fighter runs, but for now it's worth pointing out that characters will only be using lances and bows in these runs. Swords (females) or axes (males) will be trained entirely in the classroom, with females running assassin as a bow class and males running the heavy armor classes with lances. Hey, great knight does have Lancefaire, and more importantly all the classes mentioned also boost those weapon types.

This is the inverse of soldier, with male characters taking a quartet of brawling classes while females go mono-axes with the heavy armor classes and others. The female set also has one fewer class than all the others here, a consequence of there being one fewer female-exclusive class than male. As with the master class free space in male myrmidon, keep that in mind for later. The singular axe focus and smaller number of classes compensate for female fighters needing to train all three movement types here, which is annoying but necessary. I tried numerous combinations of classes in the soldier and fighter runs, but incredibly this is the one that's least demanding on overall ranks. What can you do?

With the understanding that gremory is covered in the myrmidon run, there's little to mention here. Rank requirements are almost identical with females only needing to work on flying a bit. These runs are the most demanding on limited seals though, with males needing two Dark Seals and females two Abyssian Exam Passes. Make sure you plan accordingly.
Also, these runs make it clear that if you're going to equip these characters with a weapon for when they run out of spells (as might well happen during earlygame), make it a lance.
Edelgard
From the standard sets:
Add lord to myrmidon
Add armored lord and emperor to fighter
Because female fighters are already one class short Edelgard can add two classes there and still come out as even as possible. She's the only character other than Byleth with more than eight master classes, meaning she'll have to do three of them in one run, but with her it's no trouble aside from emperor having the worst availability of any class in the game that is. Her unique classes slot well into fighter as it is.
Dimitri and Claude
From the standard sets:
Add lord to soldier
Move hero from myrmidon to fighter
Add high lord and great lord/wyvern master and barbarossa to myrmidon
The guys, meanwhile, don't fare as well. They take advantage of the same free space for a master class that Jeritza does, but to make the rest of this happen things have to get a bit messy. They'll have to have a certain sword rank for their soldier and fighter runs now, but as they both have sword boons that's not too tall of an order. They can also run hero as an axe class and lord as a lance class to match those runs' themes, which also helps each of them a bit in a different way - Dimitri with his axe bane, Claude with his lance bane. Dimitri's unique classes fit well with myrmidon as they also boost swords, but the best you could say about Claude's unique classes in myrmidon is that he won't have to train up bows for assassin when he can just switch to using them in wyvern master.
Byleth
The Avatar’s special gender-variable self needs class sets built from the ground up to accommodate their ability to access all of the genderlocked classes. As follows:

Apart from the two female runs having three master classes apiece - unfortunate but necessary, as with Edelgard - the biggest surprise here should be dark mage/bishop in myrmidon. They need to be in a male run though, and there are more magical female-exclusive classes so that's not going to be monk. Alongside the standard mortal savant it's not much of a stretch in terms of skills (something Byleth never struggles with anyway because faculty training is a thing), but the required two Dark Seals should be considered.
Conclusion
I think that's just about everything for now? I could be really over the top and map out exact routes for exploration, efficient paralogue choices, and more nitpicky stuff, but even I've got my limit. Part of the fun of 100% is being able to adapt your strategies anyway, so I'm not sure that being that precise would be the best way to approach hypothetically helping someone else do something like this.

[FEH] When your alt account gets luckier than your main one
Haha freedom of summoning go brr.
Has it ever happened to you (if you run more than one account in a gacha game) that your alternative account gets luckier pulls than your main one? Well, that's my case in Fire Emblem Heroes as I run two of them, here's a quick anecdote and results on recent summoning.
So, the other day when the banner with Nyx & Co. dropped, I was summoning on it early in the morning in hopes to get merges on two of my favorite Fates characters.
I decided to do a similar thing on my alt because I had plenty of fodder to toy with in there, and things went significantly better I daresay:

At 4% rate, my first Nyx and a Dorcas for fodder appeared, with the former getting the ideal boon I want on her.
Perhaps I ought to delete my alt account so all the luck transfers to my main one.
Anyway, those were my pulls yesterday, I hadn't had as much time as today to keep pulling, so I got on it for about an hour or two this morning, and...

Another merge for Nyx! It came soon after the last one, I had a 3.25% rate, and when I got to the spark, Celica appeared right there.
That's my first copy, +def like in my alt. 🙄
Oh well not that I need to invest on Celica for now anyway, but at any rate, I chose Nyx for the spark because of course she's a project and I don't need the others, so I've been grinding as well and...

This build is mostly for [Arena] but because Lv.4 {Duel} skills boost all stats without drawbacks it can be used just fine anywhere, the only change I've made for now after taking the shot is giving her [Reposition].
Anyway, I stopped pulling right there, as I think I should aim for more [Celestial Stones], the merges can always come later.
The funniest part would probably be that I'm not even upset about this all, in fact, it's rather funny because it reminds me of my summoning sessions for Sara when she debutted early in 2021, in my main account: I had to spark for the first copy and the merge (also neutral), came in like, 400 [Orbs] after sparking, here's the whole thing:

She's still neutral, but +2 now after spending 9 [Orbs] when Dagr was added, and running mostly a budget kit... but meanwhile in my alt account:

Each of Liu’s reinforcement dummies deals 35% of her FP (58) and fires with 60% of her RoF (21). Each one has an individual DPS rating of 24.36 - absolutely tiny! - but since there are nine of them, they contribute a total of about 219 DPS overall. Comparing that to her base DPS, they’re effectively increasing her damage by about 35%. 
That probably sounds pretty weak. M14 - the benchmark for Good DPS Rifle - increases her damage by 65% - almost double Liu’s effective boost - and has a critical damage steroid on top of that. Seems like she should outperform Liu by miles. So how come in this footage, Liu is clearly keeping up with, and even outdamaging M14 MOD? 
There are a couple of reasons I can think of for Liu to outperform her. Firstly, M14′s buff isn’t active all of the time. In a long fight like this one, M14′s damage steroid is only active 62% of the time, so her damage output on average is only 40% higher than if she didn’t activate her skill at all. Liu’s reinforcements don’t improve her damage as much, but once they’ve joined the fight, they’re there to stay (mortars and other AOE damage notwithstanding). 
Skill uptime by itself does explain why their performance is so much closer; M14′s base stats are also considerably worse (her base DPS rating is only 488, 19% lower than Liu’s), so even with the additional critical damage her Mod skill offers, it makes sense that their performance would be very similar. 
That said, Liu’s skill is very unique and particular in its function, and just because their performance is similar in a prolonged battle against a large number of targets doesn’t mean they can be used interchangeably with one another. M14 and other dolls like her deal substantial burst damage during their skill duration, which allows them to deal with powerful enemies more quickly - but makes her vulnerable in the event that she can’t kill every threat before her skill runs out. Liu won’t be able to deal as much damage quite as rapidly, which may make her vulnerable against powerful enemies like Hydras or Doppels that need to be killed as fast as possible - but her performance is much more stable and she won’t suffer from any downtime, making her easier to use in very long fights. Since Liu’s additional damage comes from extra shots and not a strict stat buff, she’s also much better at dealing with large groups of enemies, and is less likely to waste damage via overkill. Also. Liu’s Vanguard Focus mode actually improves her DPS slightly and can give her a strategic niche, in situations where frontline targeting would be preferred over backline targeting. 
As downsides, Liu will deal substantially less damage against heavily armored targets unless her AP completely shreds the enemy’s armor - any damage reduction will effectively apply to her twice or even three times as often as other rifles. Additionally, nighttime accuracy is a serious problem for her. Her reinforcements only have a base accuracy of 35 - enough to function effectively during the day, but incredibly inconsistent at night, particularly against crowds of infantry like you might otherwise be tempted to use her for. She’ll perform just fine against standard 0-EVA armored enemies, but her Commander should take care before fielding her against endgame-level Paradeus and other elite challenges where she’s more likely to lose damage compared to a single very accurate rifle like R93 or SKS.

I decided to do some math on the Arts Guards.
Okay so, all max level, max trust, max potential, the Arts Guards are:

That covers it for basic stats, so now let’s look at their abilities.
Mousse’s trait grants her a 23% chance to double attack, effectively doubling the damage dealt, but it does not count as 2 attacks for charging her skill.
Astesia’s trait gives her a stacking +5 attack speed buff every 20 seconds she’s deployed, stacking up to 5 times, capping at +25 attack speed after 100 seconds.
Sideroca gains a +15 attack speed and Resistance, reducing the duration of crowd control effects on her by half, after she deals the killing blow to 5 enemies.
All three have an attack interval of 1.25, meaning they must wait 1.25 seconds between each attack.  Astesia’s trait, when fully stacked, reduces her attack interval to 1 second, while Sideroca’s reduces her attack interval to 1.08.
In a 5 second window, if allowed to attack a single target freely, without skills, Astesia could attack 5 times, dealing 3450 Arts damage before Resist.  Mousse could attack 4 times, dealing 2820 Arts damage, and Sideroca could attack 4 times, dealing 2420.
In a 10 second window, Astesia could attack 10 times for 6900 damage, Mousse could attack 8 times for 5640 damage, and Sideroca could attack 9 times for 5580 damage.
Now we should look at their skills, and figure out how that plays into things.
Mousse’s skill 1, Scratch, at M3, causes every 5th attack to deal 75% increased damage, and inflict a 40% attack debuff on the target.  This attack can also proc her trait, potentially dealing 2,397 Arts damage before mitigation.  The attack debuff on her target also helps with Mousse’s survival, greatly reducing damage taken and allowing her solid armor to go much further.  And since this ability is attack based, it has no downtime, so Mousse is never vulnerable or without her tools.
Astesia’s skill 2, Astral Sword, at m3, gives her 80% increased attack and armor, kicking her up to 1242 attack and 847 armor, increases her block count by 1, and allows her to attack all enemies in her attack range at once, for 15 seconds.  With only a 20 sp charge time, this skill has fantastic uptime and turns Astesia into a pseudo-AoE guard, which combined with her high attack speed lets her quickly tear through groups of enemies.
Sideroca’s skill 2, Restorative Surge, at m3, gives her 110% attack up, putting her at 1302 attack, and regenerates 8% of her max health per second, equaling 276 health per second, but reduces her attack range by 1 tile, for 30 seconds.  With an sp cost of 30, Sideroca has a sizable window in which she has the lowest damage output and armor of the Arts Guards, and the reduced range means she can only attack the enemy she’s blocking, making her unviable for use as a second attacker next to another melee operator.
With their skills taken into account, lets go back to those 5 and 10 second attack windows.
In 5 seconds, Mousse cannot land 5 attacks, so Scratch will not go into effect, but she can still potentially get a Combo proc for increased damage, so her damage potential in this window is 2820 to 5640, with the lower being no procs of Combo and the higher being every hit procing Combo.  At 23% activation rate, on average we’ll be looking at 1 or 2 procs in this 5 second window.
When we go to 10 seconds, and Mousse can attack 8 times, not only do we double the chances for Combo to proc, but we also get the powerful Scratch proc on the 5th hit, dealing 1198 damage, and reducing the enemy’s attack for 5 seconds.  Mousse’s potential damage in this window is 6133 damage with no Combo procs, to 12,267 damage if all 8 attacks proc Combo.  While Mousse’s RNG trait may seem inconsistent, her offensive recovery on Scratch means her damage boost and attack debuff will be constantly active, so Mousse will never be at a disadvantage based on enemy spawns or move speed alterations.
With Astral Sword active and her trait stacked, Astesia can deal 6210 damage in 5 seconds to every enemy in her range while packing the armor of a Defender.  The 15 second window it’s active is the same as Eyjafjalla’s skill 3, so while it’s time enough to tear through a group, you’ll still have to make sure you use it when you need it, though the 20sp cost means you can activate it fairly liberally.
While Restorative Surge manages to push Sideroca up to the highest raw attack stat of the 3, Astesia still beats her in attack speed, and can only deal a potential 5208 damage in a 5 second window, or 11,718 in 10 seconds.  More importantly than the damage itself, is that Sideroca can still only attack a single target in this window, and gains no additional defense.  Compared to Mousse’s ability to nearly half enemy attack power and Astesia’s Defender level armor, Sideroca is especially vulnerable to burst damage.  While regaining 2760 health in 10 seconds can keep her topped off while fighting mooks, it will do very little to prevent her from simply taking fatal damage before she has a chance to recover.  While the generous 30 second window allows Sideroca to refill her health nearly 3 times over, it may be difficult to find a situation in which this healing isn’t wasted and/or Sideroca is constantly blocking an enemy to attack.  With a 30sp charge time in conjuction with the long duration you may activate the ability at the start of a wave, have a portion of it go to waste while waiting for enemies to spawn, and then have it run out partway through the next wave, and have it unavailable when you need it.  While not as bad as some other abilities in terms of downtime, the fact that Sidera has the lowest armor and lowest damage of the Arts guards without Restorative Surge is a considerable disadvantage.
Furthermore, we should examine their traits a bit closer.  Mousse’s Combo is always active giving her a constant source of supplemental damage, while Astesia merely needs time to ramp up.  Sideroca must score the killing blow on 5 enemies to activate Mercenary’s Tenacity, and if she shares a lane with any ranged attackers, they can potentially stop her from activating her trait, which will seriously diminish her damage output.  It should also be noted that Sideroca’s defensive utility, that being high health and self healing, is better suited to fighting Arts damage enemies than armored enemies with high physical damage.  Arts enemies often have high resist making Sideroca’s supposed niche of “anti-caster Arts guard” somewhat conflicted, while armored physical attackers often have low or no resist, making Mousse and Astesia’s higher armor more valuable as survival tools.
In conclusion, Mousse is cheaper and requires less set up, and is much easier to use.  Astesia has unique utility and by far the highest and most consistent damage output of the 3.  Sideroca doesn’t really bring anything unique to the table in terms of gameplay outside of her self healing.  Leveling and upgrading her is a labor of love, much like all the other 5 star welfares.
