📚Last Book: My Killer Vacation by Tessa Bailey ⭐️⭐️⭐️��️💫 📚Next Book: Whereabouts by Jhumpa Lahiri My Killer Vacation by Tessa Bailey was perfection. It was a twist on her recent romcoms by added a murder mystery on top. Did you all know she has three more books coming out in the next year and a half??? I feel like I'll never catch up reading all her books, but I never cease to love them! • ▪︎ • ▪︎ • When I was in high school, one of my required reading books one summer was The Namesake by Jhumpa Lahiri. It was the first time a book had made an impact on me and it's left me thinking about it for years. I recommend it to everyone I talk to (you should also go read it). For me it was summer lovin time 🫶🏼 The way The Love Hypothesis has taken over my life. 😌 I also read These Hollow Vows and fell in love with that. I can’t wait for Love on the Brain. When I recommend an enemies-to-lovers romance, my immediate go-to is Tessa Bailey’s Asking For Trouble. It has everything: great banter, super steamy sex scenes AND the greatest grand gesture of all – singing 'Wind Beneath My Wings' to declare his feelings. You’ll laugh and swoon! Brent and Hayden despise each other, and it’s too bad their best friends are happily in love because that means there’s a lot of forced time together. She’s a society girl and he’s a working class cop, so they’ve made up their minds they have nothing in common. When Brent and Hayden finally give in to “let’s get this out of our systems,” one night isn’t enough. These two are all about losing control with each other, and I loved reading about a dirty talkin’ Alpha with a big heart being brought to heel. This book is No. 4 in the Line of Duty series but can be read as a stand-alone.
