Ok, about the soulmate subject:
It doesn't have to be contrary to free will though.
Sam and Dean were mainly created to become Lucifer's and Michael's vessel (which they did eventually, still bitter about the Michael! Dean storyline, such a shitty retcon ruining 'point of no return' in hindsight, but nvm, Jensen wanted to wear pretty clothes so, shrugs).
But they did not fight each other/ overcame the fight eventually.
They chose free will and chose not to follow the angel's apocalypse plan.
But they're still tied to each other by fate.
One doesn't cancel out the other.
A show can have multiple themes.

hiii, i missed you!! 💞 ah the dream, but then i'd probably be bored. most of the time, i do like my job <3 yesterday was a good day, and then i napped after it :)
after our messages, i checked in with her and she still has them, in fact she was wearing them! 🤣
ah, mal, you say you'll keep it that way but svt have a habit of sliding into your bias list when you're not expecting it 🥰
crossing my fingers for you too!! 🌷
noo, keep going!!! 💜 i love hearing fans thoughts about members, i think it's adorable <3 but yeah, i found that not a lot of carats bias him </3 and he's always the least voted for in polls :((
ohhh!!! i never really thought about that. honestly, yeah the tiger is 100% hoshi 🦊 i'd probably give the 😈 to jeonghan because he's a little cheat. he cheats in most games they play and i'd give the 💎to joshua bc he's a diamond 💓 and it's self explanatory as to why i'm giving the 💍 to seungkwan 🥰 i was the same!!! i wish his solo was called "tiger" hopefully he might write one </3
i'm so invested in their mafia games honestly, i'm yelling along with them, shouting at my screen like THE MAFIA IS RIGHT THEREEEEE 🤣🤣🤣 there's not one episode where they're not chaotic, it's just who they are 😭
oh my god you're so cute!!! 💗 i wish i could show myself but not long to go until the reveal!!! 💚 and i'm so excited to get to know you more 💛
i would love to know what other groups you stan <3 who are your favourites? i recently started listening to nmixx & loona which is bad timing bc i think loona are gonna leave their company (don't blame them tbh) but they're so good 💕
have a wonderful day / night <3
—svt secret santa 🎅 🎁🎄
heeeeeeeeeeey bestie 💕 i missed you too (so much so much)
i'm so glad you like your job. unfortunately, this is a miracle since most of us work just to earn money. but i'm veeeeeeeeeeeery happy for you that you like what you do 💛 i hope it stays that way and if not, i hope you'll find something else that makes you happy :)
oh no :( idk what's cuter. you checking with her if she still had them or her wearing them when you saw her? <3 my heart grew ten sizes!
please don't say that 🤣 i'm already an indecisive person so i don't need a thirteen-membered group to accentuate that 🤣🤣🤣
it's always disheartening seeing all these polls about 'who's your bias?' because it's kind of a way to push individualism instead of unity in the fandom :/ don't get me wrong, there's nothing wrong with having a bias. i mean we all do (that'd be hypocritical to say otherwise) but those polls seem to push people into competing about who's the most popular and that saddens me. i'm saying all of that from the polls i've seen. it's sort of a popularity contest and, generally, the ones at the bottom of the list are looked over and it's so sad :( anyway i don't want to bring too much negativity to our conversations so i'll stop here ^^ but i'm honestly shocked to see seungkwan at the bottom of the polls because he seems like such a lovely guy and he's funny and kind too
all those emojis are so accurate, especially the jeonghan one 🤣 this man is a cheater (and i think he'll take that as a compliment 🤣🤣🤣) btw i'm always double checking if i write idols' names right because some of the blogs i follow have almost canon urls and it messes up my brain when i'm trying to remember the idols' names. so, if i ever mispell any of the svt member's name, you know why 🤣
so true! like i'm always on the verge of shouting at them when they're playing mafia or any other games because i'm so invested lol like "HE'S JUST BEHIND YOU BE CAREFUL!" as if they could hear me. and i must admit, i do that with every show/movie i watch hehe
AH I'M SO EXCITED 💗 i can't wait to know who you are <3 but i kinda like the anon thingie because you know who i am but i don't so i'm sort of playing a game of "Who's my bestie anon?" not gonna lie i'm very bad at those games but it doesn't mean i don't enjoy them. i think i've already said it but the biggest gift of this whole event was getting to know you and sharing our love for the boys so tysm for that bestie 💚
i don't stan a lot of groups, i'm more of a casual listener but if i had to list the groups i like i'd say: f(x), 2NE1 (yes i'm putting them here even when they're no longer active because they hold a special place in my heart), shinee, txt, svt (duh!), woo!ah! and everglow. i listen to a lot more groups but those are the main ones.
nmixx is an interesting group. idk where jyp will take them honestly but i can't wait to see more of them and find out what genre(s) they'll explore in the future. as for loona :/ yeah, the whole situation is messed up. the only thing i'm wishing is for the girls to finally be free and get compensated for their work (even if it means disbanding </3)
i hope you're having a lovely day (or night) 💕

In light of recent events, I feel I need to explain something.
The other day, I received an ask from a young child telling me it was highly inappropriate to use the Reverend Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.’s quote on this blog, “Darkness cannot drive out darkness, only light can do that. Hate cannot drive out hate, only love can do that,” especially considering everything going on.
I answered them privately yesterday, saying that it is in times like these Dr. King’s words need to be shared more than ever. However, I have also been made aware, not through another scolding but through the justified rants of others on Facebook, that there are people using this quote as a means to tell people they shouldn’t be standing up and demanding justice.
And that is sick.
And not “sick,” the way my generation used the word “sick,” back in middle school... I mean actually sick, depraved, and morally bankrupt.
Dr. King is one of my heroes. I wish I’d had the opportunity to sit at his feet as his disciple and just learn from him, but he was stolen from the world by an evil, evil man fifty-two years ago. Now all we can do is put Dr. King’s words in action and lived as he lived. Otherwise, what did he live for?
Dr. King did not acquiesce to violence, oppression, and hate. Polls from that time period show he was one of the most hated men in America. That didn’t matter to him. What mattered to him was the truth, and sharing the truth and doing what’s right no matter what. He believed in love, not violence, but he never sugar coated the situation of race-based oppression or said that loving your enemies involved liking them or letting them walk all over you.
“Freedom is never voluntarily given by the oppressor; it must be demanded by the oppressed.” - Dr. King
“He who passively accepts evil is as much involved in it as he who helps to perpetrate it. He who accepts evil without protesting against it is really cooperating with it.” -Dr. King
And as he said in his famous “Love Your Enemies,” sermon:
“History unfortunately leaves some people oppressed and some people oppressors. And there are three ways that individuals who are oppressed can deal with their oppression. One of them is to rise up against their oppressors with physical violence and corroding hatred. But oh this isn’t the way. For the danger and the weakness of this method is its futility. Violence creates many more social problems than it solves. And I’ve said, in so many instances, that as the Negro, in particular, and colored peoples all over the world struggle for freedom, if they succumb to the temptation of using violence in their struggle, unborn generations will be the recipients of a long and desolate night of bitterness, and our chief legacy to the future will be an endless reign of meaningless chaos. Violence isn’t the way. Another way is to acquiesce and to give in, to resign yourself to the oppression. Some people do that. They discover the difficulties of the wilderness moving into the promised land, and they would rather go back to the despots of Egypt because it’s difficult to get in the promised land. And so they resign themselves to the fate of oppression; they somehow acquiesce to this thing. But that too isn’t the way because non-cooperation with evil is as much a moral obligation as is cooperation with good. But there is another way. And that is to organize mass non-violent resistance based on the principle of love. It seems to me that this is the only way as our eyes look to the future. As we look out across the years and across the generations, let us develop and move right here. We must discover the power of love, the power, the redemptive power of love. And when we discover that we will be able to make of this old world a new world. We will be able to make men better. Love is the only way. Jesus discovered that.”
The Reverend Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. stood for justice. It was his life’s work.
There are two ways I have seen people in the last few days spitting on his grave and dishonoring his life:
1. By repaying evil for evil
2. By twisting his words about love and using them as a means to deter justice
BOTH ARE PROFOUNDLY WICKED.
I want you all to know, however many times you have seen wicked people, or perhaps well-meaning but very misguided people, using his quote about love driving out hate as a means to say there should be no uprising or justice... that is not at all my intention with this quote.
I do not take a single recorded word of Dr. King lightly. I do not ignore the context in which they were originally spoken.
It would be easy for me to become angry at having words put in my mouth, but given the current climate, I don’t blame anyone but those misusing the quote. To come to this blog after being bombarded with misuse of the quote, and seeing it on the top of a cheerful-looking blog about love within the fandom of a cartoon... of course someone who doesn’t know my heart and just came off the battlefield might be angered.
That’s why I’m explaining my heart here. I have seen too many people, in matters of race, religion, the sexes, orientations, you name it - try to counter hate (and in just a couple very specific cases unrelated to this issue, perceived hate) with intense hatred of their own. Dr. King didn’t approve of that, and nor do I. That is why I started this blog - to fight hate, including racism - and that is why I use this quote. And I cannot stop using it for good because people have said others are using it for evil. I cannot shut Dr. King’s words away because others are twisting them for their own agenda. I cannot let what is good and true be deemed wrong and false.
“You just begin hating somebody, and you will begin to do irrational things. You can’t see straight when you hate. You can’t walk straight when you hate. You can’t stand upright. Your vision is distorted. There is nothing more tragic than to see an individual whose heart is filled with hate. He comes to the point that he becomes a pathological case. For the person who hates, you can stand up and see a person and that person can be beautiful, and you will call them ugly. For the person who hates, the beautiful becomes ugly and the ugly becomes beautiful. For the person who hates, the good becomes bad and the bad becomes good. For the person who hates, the true becomes false and the false becomes true. That’s what hate does. You can’t see right. The symbol of objectivity is lost. Hate destroys the very structure of the personality of the hater.” - the Reverend Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.
So be righteously angry. Stand for justice. Stand for human dignity. Stand for truth. Stand for each other. Stand for love.
And when you are battle weary, I hope this blog is a safe, soft place to land and rest, and remember there is some good in the world worth getting up to fight for again.
