Do the ROs like to cuddle and how do they feel about the MC laying their head on their laps as they read? (just a cozy ask for an overly warm day, i hope the temperature is bearable where you are cos it isn't over here ;-;)

grayson loves anything that lets him touch the mc/be near them so he's all for it. he won't be able to focus on anything else so don't blame him if all he's able to do is stare.

kennedy likes cuddling except for when she sleeps, then she needs space lol. she also wouldn't mind the mc laying on her lap, just as long as she's not hindered from doing other things.

alex is also a big fan of cuddling, they just cant really sit still for too long. so the mc would maybe get to lay their head on their lap for maybe an hour before alex would need to get up and stretch their legs, find something to do etc.

How would M react to arriving after a long shift only to find that the MC made them a simple meal and pick me up (favourite drink or snack) for them to reheat when they get home.

They’d probably be half way through chugging some drink that they have in their fridge before they notice the delicately covered Tupperware on their counter— a brightly colored sticky note attached to the lid. Once they read it a gentle smile would appear on their lips, tiredness leaving them for only a moment as their love for you won out, they’d truly appreciate the effort. Especially if they noticed their favorite drink situated right next to it.

Would definitely make a note to themself to make breakfast for you when they woke up in the morning. It’s the least they could do for someone as wonderful as you.

Fallon: Absolutely adores wrapping their arms around you— doesn’t necessarily like being held, unless the MC absolutely needs/wants to do it. Some of their favorite moments will be having you in their arms— waking up to see you lying next to them. Holding you close to their chest… Simply getting lost in the sensation of you.

Sasha: It’ll take them a bit to get comfortable enough with cuddling, and it’ll never be for long periods of time, but they’ll slowly, but surely, begin to melt into your touch. They’ll also begin to initiate cuddling sessions too, simply nuzzling into your neck.

Nico: No surprise here, Nico absolutely adores being held and cuddled. If they don’t get their daily dose of it they’d definitely be put out. They love being in your arms and can’t think of a better place to be.

i have a similar issue with games with a bunch of ROs of one gender and only 1 or 2 of another. The most egregious one i've seen was 9 men and 1 woman and at that point what's the point.

i often just ignore games that do this. i don't need it to be equal and balanced but i always feel like a lot of these projects view sapphic attraction as "exotic" or "spicy" and it's incredibly alienating to me.

I can understand that completely. I honestly don’t touch those games either usually, even if the mc is customizable bc it just feels like it’s intended for a straight audience. Like I played one where the mc was a set character but gender was a choice, however the dude version still felt very “uwu I’m a lady” and most of the ros were men.

I can at least try to enjoy the ros as someone attracted to men, but I imagine those who aren’t find these games even more difficult to connect with.

For Dalia:

S (Sleep): Dalia sleeps either sleeps on her back while you're cushioned against her or does the opposite, leg thrown over your hip, head pressed against your chest so she can hear your heartbeat. With what feels like the weight of the world on her shoulders, sleeping beside you is a balm.

T (Trust): Dalia is complicated in that she trusts you completely and absolutely in some areas, but doesn't necessarily trust you in others. Maybe "doesn't trust you" is a bit harsh. You are, after all, one of the only people she holds dear, and if she did not trust you, she wouldn't let you get so close. But there are things that she holds close to her chest, things that weigh on her, that she won't tell you until it's killing her. Such is her way.

A (Affection): Dalia has a difficult time showing affection, especially to her s/o. Her parents didn't exactly have a stable marriage -- her father literally executed her mother -- and she's not the best at expressing her emotions. But she does try to show you she cares in the little things, like your weapons being tended to mysteriously, or your rations being refilled for a mission.

V (Vulnerable): Dalia absolutely despises the idea of being vulnerable with anyone, even you. There are a lot of repressed emotions swirling around in her head, especially at the start of the game. She'll stamp down on them and pretend things are fine, until finally she's crumbling and baring herself to you, pushed to the point where she seeks your comfort.

For Zara:

S (Sleep): Zara likes to hold you while she sleeps. It is a comfort, the feeling of you in her arms, even while you are asleep. It is assurance, a reminder that you are here with her in the web of intrigue and hidden daggers that is court. For as long as you let her, she will fall asleep with her hands on you, pulling you close, loving you even in rest.

T (Trust): Zara trusts you with everything she has, and she hopes that you do the same. There isn't a single moment where doubting you -- at least over something important -- flashes across her mind. Why would it?

A (Affection): Zara is quite affectionate. She absolutely abuses her money and influence to spoil you rotten. She has no qualms about showing her affection, and in fact, she actually prefers to show it. Though if being bombarded with presents and kisses isn't exactly your style, of course she'll tone things down.

V (Vulnerable): Zara isn't really used to being vulnerable. She's used to being another person's rock, in being the glue that holds people together. So she's probably not super vulnerable unless something really upsets, especially at first. It's not that she has a problem with being open, per say, but more that she's just never really considered it.

i honestly feel that even if Farah appeared to Luceris and gave him an earful he'd come away thinking that it was MC's family plotting from beyond the grave or something. The man justified an entire war, massacred an entire family on the basis of "he said, she said", he has no evidence. so i doubt even seeing Farah outright telling him to stop will do anything because he will go on to believe what ever satisfies his ego and blood-thirst.

I'll have to disagree on this one, Logan 😞 I think he would feel guilty if she berated him and said things like "don't use my death as an excuse to do all that 😒" it would plant the seed of guilt in his heart. Technically he has evidence (not sure if you clicked the "what evidence do you have" choice in the office), now are they real? Who knows.

Does K have any keepsakes from MC that they used for comfort while they were gone?

In a sense, I suppose? They have the MCs wedding ring around their neck, right next to their own, but a lot of the things the MC had were put into storage: within the attic, taken to Eliza’s, and various other places. As it was too difficult for K to be consistently surrounded by them. To see the inanimate objects, some with backstories, that had an owner that would never return. It took them awhile to actually come to terms with that, because they felt like letting go of your things would mean letting go of you, but they soon realized how detrimental it was to their mental health to consistently be reminded of everything they lost.

Eliza was more than happy to offer assistance— being someone that’s well aware of what that kind of thing can do to a person.

i personally like the fact that [Locked] acts like a self-assured person, a confident woman if you will, but is in fact a deeply anxious clingy mess of a woman. an absolute wreck. i think that's very attractive of her.

real talk i'm an extremely forgiving person to an almost unhealthy degree and i can't really imagine myself ever forgiving or trusting August ever again if i were in MC's shoes. Like only an actual effectual apology (August promising and committing to getting therapy, and August admitting to wrong doing in an official manner) would have me even think of considering that. but i suspect MC might be somewhat codependent with August (at least mine) so maybe she's an actual pushover.

I totally understand some MC's may not be able to forgive August. The good news (not for August tho) is you'll have the opportunity to forgive or end your romance/friendship. Even in fiction, I think it's important readers are able to set boundaries whenever the plot permits it. I'm excited to see what your characters choose!
