This may come out as bashing towards Rebekah and Caroline, that isn't my intention at all because I honestly love Rebekah and I don't hate Caroline, as many people seem to think, I just don't like her. I don't care enough for any fictional character to hate them, I assure you that.

I feel Caroline just had development in season two, where her character got more popular, but after that it feels the writers went back to make her the same girl from season one but less mean and more confident.

Don't get me wrong, her personality did have a change but I don't feel it was as big as everyone says. Tvdu generally gives character development to its character only to take it away in the next season. I feel the biggest example of this could be Damon and Klaus, with Damon it was because they never decided if they wanted him to be good or a villain and I don't have a reason as to why they decided to do that with Klaus.

The main reason of why I feel Caroline wasn't that great of a character it's because of how her presence didn't significantly alter the plot and she was just there most of the time, I don't think the seasons would have changed that much if she wasn't present and in my opinion, Candice has never been really good at acting so I really don't feel anything whenever she cries, or in any other of her emotional scenes. Phoebe Tonkin, in my opinion, is more or less the same, and this isn't me shitting in their acting skills, it's just my opinion and before anyone (yk who) decides to come for my throat, I'm not "bashing" them for being women. I think Nina Dobrev, Leah Pipes and Kat Graham, as well as Danielle Rose Russell, are one of the best actress the tvd universe has.

The fact that Caroline was a mix of toxic female harmful stereotypes just makes her look bad as a character and of course this wasn't Candice's fault, but Caroline, as well as Rebekah, was everything a female character shouldn't be if you went for the route of feminist woman and that is what Julie Pl*c wanted them to be. Both of them had traits that weren't at all feminist and they didn't deserve to be used as punching bags for toxic abusive men. Having Caroline and Rebekah grow out of these behaviors and traits would have made them good characters and more interesting to analyze, because what do we know of these characters outside the unhealthy/toxic mentality they have?

They made Caroline a mother when she never experienced any desire to be one, they used her for her body and she never said a word about this. Rebekah suddenly became obssesed with becoming a mother out of nowhere, but with the way she behaves it's clear it would not be healthy for her to have a baby. Both of them antagonized women at one point for jealousy/insecurities and they never apologized. Honestly, there are more reasons but I feel I explained the more important ones. I feel Caroline and Rebekah are really similar but at the same time drastically different, not the same character in a different font, because their personalities aren't that similar but both of them deserved better storyline that weren't tied to men.

What are your thoughts of Andromeda Six in general?

It's one of my favorite visual novel ! The story is super interesting and it's been a while since I've been so attracted by a fictional character (I still have no idea why I'm always going for the sarcastic bastard like Damon every time I play that kind of game) 😂

The only thing I don't really like is the fact that the characters date/fuck each others if Traveler aren't with them: we saw it with Damon and Alisa, Bash and Ryona - and I think the devs ship June and Aya too- and recently with Vexx and Nerissa (btw am I the only one who hate the fact that he fucked traveler's sister behind their back ?? Like, even if they weren't romantically involved they were best friends, It's super weird). When I play this type of game, I often play at least two or three routes with my favorites characters and it hurt a bit to see them date someone other than my MC if that makes sense ?

Exept that, the game is amazing I'm looking forward to play the next chapter and know everything about June's past (I'm ready to get hurt again 😭)

I think A6 devs stated that they’re not doing poly routes but I might be wrong. TBH the whole Alissa (that’s her name I think?) thing and the dev’s statement on it left a bad taste in my mouth and I’m not even doing a Damon route. If they do something similar to June I’ll be very sad:( I don’t think I’m just gonna drop A6 though, I wanna see this all goes.

for me personally, i wasn’t bothered abt damon and alissa (i think that’s her name to? but maybe with 1 s idk) and actually thought they were cute lol. tbh i was glad he had someone like that since she seemed to be a good influence on him.

nothing abt it rubbed me the wrong way until ppl found out her character is apparently just a self insert from one of the devs. i still don’t know if it’s necessarily wrong, but it kinda just feels like a weird ego boost since our character has dialogue options to constantly call her cool and amazing and badass and etc etc lol.

and like devs putting in self inserts is fine! sometimes they can even be fun little easter eggs. it’s just the fact that we can praise her for just existing is like 💀 but yeah, even tho i personally didn’t have too much of an issue with it, i understand why it felt off to others.

(okay my response is getting long i’m so sorry i’m a rambler),

like for me, i like both Ry and Bash and initially planned on considering romancing either of them. but then they seemed to have an already romantic connection and Bash even said he asked her out one time and wouldn’t mind doing it again after everything was over. i’m not poly and didn’t wanna get in the way of their relationship by dating one of them individually so i backed off.

if it happened with June too i...... honestly don’t know how i’d respond? he’s one of my faves so i will cross that bridge when i get there.

tbh it does surprise me a little bit that the devs aren’t doing poly routes. they have a good build up for them, with the whole Bash & Ry and Damon & Alis(s)a pairings.

if there’s no poly routes that does kinda change things tbh. like if i WAS thinking of a Damon romance, and then we saw how in love and committed he was with Alis(s)a, i would back off then too bc i just can’t bring myself to take a lover from someone else. like, if a love interest was in an unstable relationship or loved me first (idk if you play Ch*ices but kinda like Raf from OPH), then yeah i’d 100% still go for them. but in regards to relationships that are completely happy healthy and sweet like Damon & Alis(s)a’s was, yeah i wouldn’t mess with it.

idk anon this has got my head spinning in circles now lol. guess we’ll just see where the devs take this down the line!
