request : hi!! so i just happened upon ur account cos i ended up reading your sasaki hc’s . and oh my god im literally in love 😭 i just lovelovelove sasaki sm he means the world to me—i just recently finished watching the anime so im honestly just having a lot of brainrot !! this turned into a bit of a ramble, i apologize, but uhhm—i was wondering if you could maybe do a little one shot of protective sasaki x male reader ?? i dont really have much of a plot in mind but i do enjoy hurt/comfort and fluff quite a bit !! im sorry if this is a lot i tend to ramble when i get excited and i just . love sasaki to bits :’)) thank you so much if you got to the end of this i really enjoy your writing (i also read your bsd ones, and i rlly love bsd and your writing aaaa c’: <3) /pospospos

sasaki isn't someone who understimates you - in fact, quite the opposite. he knows that you're perfectly capable to take care of yourself, he has no doubts about it; this being said, he can't help the part of him that wants to keep you safe at all costs, no matter the time nor place.

his protective nature has probably roots in his childhood, which has led him to be more mindful and thoughtful of his - and others' - actions. for example, if someone gets hurt, sasaki is the first to aid them and settle things down, in case they're in a dangerous situation.

so, to put it simple, he just wants his boyfriend, you, to be safe and sound - especially when you're out with him, meaning he can genuinely be of help, if needed.

this very day, something quite unexpected has happened: you were beyond happy to having finished your classes and were heading towards the exit of your school to meet shuumei when, well, you found yourself in the middle of a fight which didn't involve you at all — you just so happened to walk in two people arguing over each other, a punch accidentally landed on your face, you legitimately reacted and... the rest is history.

now you are in sasaki's house, specifically sitting on his bed while he gently cleans your wounds from the recent brawl. his warming touch is tender on your skin, making sure it doesn't cause any other discomfort in your body; your boyfriend's gaze is intently focused on his duty, as he'd call it, and you can't help but feeling grateful for his presence in your life.

“shuumei, i'm thankful for your help, really, but it isn't that serious,” you comment as he adds another layer of gauze pad on your elbow, his fingers are caressing your arm. “i'm completely fine- ahia!” you exclaim when you feel his index finger lightly pressing on another bruise on your leg.

“mh, i wouldn't be so sure,” sasaki replies earnestly, though he's suppressing a grin after you sigh in defeat. “just let me take care of you, 'kay?”

he's sitting in front of you, with crossed legs, on the other side of the bed; your knees are slightly rubbing each other while he moves to apply an ointment layer on your injuries spots, which aren't covered with gauze or bandaids yet. anyone could figure out how much great care he's using in regards of your well-being, how much he loves you just from the way shuumei is trying to heal your wounds.

the last, but not least painful, bruise is on your left cheek, where you were first punched on. at this point, sasaki grabs gently your jaw and leaves a kiss on the wounded skin, then one on your lips.

“how are you feeling now?”, he murmurs, kissing your chin.

you grin at him, taking his hand in yours. “definitely better. thank you, shuumei. i appreciate it”.

“good,” he kisses you again, wrapping his arms around your waist. “next time don't be so reckless, love, okay?”.

and once again im just so grateful to have you to talk about it because luna taking an interest in aylin’s love for aliens and wanting to share it with her reminded me SO MUCH of puentalay in episode 5 and i KNEW you would understand me LIKE!!!!!!!!

the fact that both aylin and puen didn’t want to share what they like because they were afraid of being mocked!!!!!!! the two of them receiving only genuine interest and kindness in return and falling a little bit more in love with luna and talay because of it!!!!!!! THE WAY IM NOT NORMAL ABOUT EITHER OF THESE PAIRINGS!!!!!!!!!!!

i was about to say that both sun and luna feel like puen's daughters in a way because they come up with some of the flirtiest lines i've ever heard but let's be honest. they're way too cool and smooth for that to be true like sun and luna are there rizzing their girls up at the tender age of 17, meanwhile puen was able to get with talay by sheer power of delusion ✋😭

i don’t really have anything to add to what you’ve already pointed out, although the ongsasun conversation on the swings was all the more emotional to me because it reminded me a little of puentalay’s talk at the secret island in episode 10, mostly because of the way both puen and sun wanted talay and ongsa to still be part of their life

OH ALSO!!!!! ongsa saying “the universe gave me a chance to start over” is basically a summary of vice versa like yes the universe WILL make young queer love happen and we love to see it!!!!!!!!!!

i was thinking about the shitpost comic/drabbles. and while they're funny and they're fun to draw, in my opinion they don't hold a candle to canon. not in any lifetime. fic canon is so much more romantic and tender and meaningful (not to mention in character) to me.

it's about [thematic spoilers] weiss going 'after everything, after all ive worked so hard for, im just a monster' and nora grabbing her by the shoulders and going "not if i can fucking help it, you're not". nora going with her nature to help against what she's been taught, being so careful and kind to weiss who simply does not understand why she would bother for her, why anyone would continue to keep trying when she's so clearly doomed because she shouldn't need anyone to keep her sane except the consequences for failure are so steep that she can't afford to lone wolf this!! it's about the forgiveness for something you haven't done and the renewable sacrifices and the devotion and the hands and the touch and the blood and the soul- *taps mic* is this thing on?? hello?! hello?!?!!

I do, but usually after 5-10 business days because I look at them and then I forget they're there.

I dont think any of my fics have angsty endings. feel free to prove me wrong, but i just... im a sucker for resolution and happy endings

literally every single one. the one i'm most proud of? Live, Laugh, Lando because I made myself cry several times writing the last few chapters because I was just so proud of myself

maxiel married in vegas. i wrote 23k words and abandoned it earlier this year.

fluff. 100%. also apparantly my characterisation? this is probably because i am terminally onine and i consume SO MUCH content that like... i could talk about certain drivers in my sleep

17. What are your writing weaknesses?

smut. i find it so difficult to focus, to get into, to remember the positioning. apparently sometimes its good but god at what cost.

18. Thoughts on writing dialogue in another language in fic?

i have included it a couple of times, but always with a direct translation within reach. i will not write entire conversations in french, or whatever, and have actively stopped reading fics where there has been no translation supplied. and i only use it for emphasis, or if it calls for a joke.

19. First fandom you wrote for?

sigh. theres two answers to this. the first fandom i wrote for was WWE self insert. the first fandom i POSTED for was jonas brothers

20. Favourite fic you’ve written?

LLL, hands down. its not my best performing fic, and its very niche but like. i did that. 53k words thereabouts, and i got through it.

4. What’s a word that makes you go absolutely feral?

okay i know this is asking for specifics but here we have a category 5 "i've been asked to recall something so naturally my brain forgets everything its ever known" moment. soooo, i'm going to be pretty unspecific probably lol buuuut

any word that implies something tender is happening is my jaaaaam. i mean, tender itself is a word i love a lot. but yeah anything that implies something deeply vulnerable and intimate is so so good. i go coo coo for cocoa puffs about it.

i also fucking love space words - nebula, constellation, supernova, cosmic, celestial, anything to do with the stars, the moon, the sun. i eat that shit UP.

also same goes with words about water!!!

also shout out to my homies irrevocably (which i still associate with that one monologue from twilight but like it kind of went off using this words soooo sdflkds), petrichor (bc that's a fun word and i LOVE rain and the smell of rain so), and also freckles and dimples bc i fucking L O V E mentioning those in anything i write so they are favorites too <3

19. Tell me a story about your writing journey. When did you start? Why did you start? Were there bumps along the way? Where are you now and where are you going?

ooh so i started writing like officially the summer before my freshman year of college. i had been apart of fandom before that for a while and had definitely been reading fic for quite some time before, and i'd always sort of wanted to do some writing of my own, but i could never like fully commit to anything. which, in hindsight, i'm very glad i couldn't for that first fandom i was in lmfao. let's just say iykyk.

but then i watched skam and i totally and completely fell in love with that show, with that cast of characters, with the stories they were telling. and i wanted to add to it, i wanted to expand that universe, i wanted to put these characters in my own situations and shows how they'd respond! so i did! and i wrote and i wrote and i wrote. to this day it is still the fandom i have written the most fics for (tied with marvel also lmfao, and honestly stranger things is creeping up there, it's getting close and the brainrot has not died, not even close, so it just might pass it up. but the fact that it's stayed number one for like 6 years? crazy).

it absolutely helped that i found a server to join for fans of the show. that was literally the best thing ever. i made so many connections and so many dear friends and, aside from the brief bumps in the road that came with that server (lmaoo), it was such a good environment and it was SO creatively stimulating and SO motivating and SO inspirational. like i had so many people in my corner rooting me on to actually finish writing that first fic!! and i did!! and their support just kept coming and coming for everything after and that was SO integral to my success and my desire to keep writing. so yeah, shout out to skam international, yall were the real mvps and i wouldnt be where i am today if it werent for you all <3

where am i now and where am i going? well, right now im deeeeep in the st brainrot so im riding that wave as far as it will take me for as long as it will take me. and as for the future? i really have no idea! i have no clue what's going to sink it's claws into me next, but i'm excited to find out!

39. What keeps you writing when you feel like giving up?

really truly it's my friends. whenever i'm feeling down in the dumps about my writing they're always so kind and so nice and so encouraging with me, they know exactly what to say. and a lot of them are writers or artists themselves too so like they understand the feeling too, which makes it easier to like talk about it with them and to take a step back from that ledge.

i also like to look at how much i've done already, and how much i have left that i want to tell and that kind of just helps to put things in perspective. like wow i've done so much, i've made it through so much to get to this point - no way can i give up now.
