but YES okay you don't just hear fob you have to FEEL fob. and i think a lot of that is bc pete doesn't just think about lyrics bc he's not a singer he thinks about how the whole thing has to sound and the emotion he wants to evoke with his words and patrick's voice and the instrumental behind it. i truly think fob is one of the best bands of our generation bc they, as a unit, work so flawlessly together to create something that provokes thought AND emotion.

but also!!!! the best part is how the meanings change with how you, the listener, changes!!! like the meaning of so many of their songs have evolved over time as i've become a different person with them.
