Polar opposites attract

Aika rolled into the lot in her sparkling red ferrari.

She saw one of the male teachers yelling at her precious Milo.

Aika dramatically opened the car door and walked over to the man and her niece.

“Is there a problem over here?”

Giyuu looked over at Aika, light blush grazing his cheeks.

Milo ran to Aika and wrapped her arms around her waste.

Tanjiro walked by and saw the sight.

He went over and kissed Milo on the top of the head causing her to blush.

“See you tomorrow angel, I love you.”

Giyuu smacked Tanjiro on the back of the head. “NO PDA!!!” He yelled then Aika smacked him on the back of the head.

“Leave them alone, school is out!!” Aika said, protecting the teens.

“Anyways, why were you yelling at my niece?” Aika continued, sounding very agitated by the man’s behavior.

“I’m trying to get her to stop wearing that bow. Student expression is not allowed.” The man explained.

~After a few minutes of talking~

“My name is Giyuu, by the way.” The dark haired man said and Aika smiled.

“Aika, it’s nice to meet you Giyuu.”

Giyuu walked off, his face covered in blush.

Aika and Milo walked to the elder’s car.

“Bye Tanji! I love you!” Milo said while walking off and Tanjiro smiled.

“I love you too, angel!” He said then walked off with a smile.

~On the ride home~

“He’s really cute.” Aika said bluntly, a soft blush spread across her face.

“Is he one of the teachers?” The woman continued.

“He’s the P.E. coach and guidance counselor.” Milo explained.

“I’m gonna have to come pick you up more often.” Aika said with a smile and Milo chuckled softly at her aunt.

TanjMilo’s day out

Milo ran to Tanjiro, Kuro on her head.

When she stopped, Kuro pecked her.

“Ow. Hey Tanji, can you help me feed Kuro?” She asked and Kuro hopped down onto her arm when she held it out for him to jump down.

Tanjiro smiled lovingly. “Of course angel!”

“Do you know what he likes to eat?” He asks as he pulls out various seeds and nuts from his pocket.

“He prefers fruit but he’ll eat seeds and nuts too. He especially likes strawberries and sunflower seeds.” She explains, petting Kuro.

Kuro leans into her touch and Milo smiles. “Do you like that?” She asks and Kuro hums contentedly.

Tanjiro smiles softly, eyes filled with love, as he watched the interaction between Milo and her crow.

“I love you.” He randomly says out of nowhere and Milo blushes, her eyes widen then her expression softens.

“I love you too.” She says then kisses him on the cheek.

Tanjiro hands some sunflower seeds to Milo and Kuro eats them out of her hand.

Milo giggles as the sensation and Tanjiro’s heart melts.

He is so glad that he gets to protect that beautiful smile and that even more beautiful laugh.

Tanjiro leads Milo to a beautiful clearing with a sparkling pond in the center.

Milo gasps happily. “Tanji this is so beautiful!” She exclaims, they go to sit on the edge of the bank.

Kuro goes to drink some water from the pond.

“Not as beautiful as you..” Tanjiro said, caressing Milo’s cheek and leaning in for a gentle, loving kiss.

Milo, of course, kissed him back.

They cuddled together and watched as the sun started to set.

Milo sighed. “Thank you for spending today with me, Tanji.” Milo said, looking up at him and he smiled.

“Of course, I had a great day with you.” Tanjiro said, getting up then helping Milo get up.

Kuro flew up then got on Milo’s arm.

Together, they walk back to the butterfly mansion, their hands intertwined.

To Milo, at that moment, everything was perfect.

She was walking back with the boy she loved with everything she had.

The fireflies flew around them and shone delicately as the sun set.

Nothing could ruin this peaceful moment for the young couple.
