I'll start posting my next finished long-fic sometime next week. That one is a JayTim Urban Fantasyish casefic.
I just started drafting my new big project this week. It's a DickTim story that will probably be 80-100K words when it's done if I keep the current outline. I've been in the mood to write ANGRY Dick and Melancholy Tim and Self-Reflective Damian. So much angst. So much drama. So much hurt/comfort. Oh and also it's a casefic, so they solve crimes while being angst-monsters. As the Bats do.

“I think Duck is too,” Kon said, with amusement clear in his voice. He nodded over to Duck who was a streaking ribbon of green as he flitted around the room, circling them and trilling loudly.
Puffing out a tired breath, Tim grinned at the little dragon.

"We'll help," Steph said with a grin, grabbing Cass by sleeve and dragging her back to the kitchen.
"They know we kissed, don't they?” Kon asked, consideringly.
"They do know."
"What did you tell them?"
"I didn't tell them anything."
"They just knew?"
"They just knew."
"You sisters are terrifying."
"You have no idea..."
Kon turned back to Tim with a wry smile and took Tim's hand in his.
"I would still like to keep kissing you, though," Kon said. "Even if they'll always find out."
"That's a relief. Just remember you said that next time Jason comes home..."

Harper, Steph, Cass and Jason have a favorite hobby and it’s tormenting Tim.
Very soon it will be tormenting Tim and Kon at the same time, but they’re very kindly giving Kon a few days to adjust before they go full force.

My name isn't Rush," Kon heard himself blurting out and then felt his face flush deeply red when he realized what he said.
Tim raised a curious eyebrow at him and nodded slowly.
"So... what should I call you?"
"Rrosh," Kon said, letting himself say his real name, the name he gave himself, with the thick Kryptonian accent and intonation it was meant to have.
"Rrosh?" Tim repeated, trying to say the word but not quite getting the accent right. His voice was uncertain as he said it but it was clear he was trying hard.
"Close," Kon said and couldn't help but smile down at Tim. "Rrosh. It's actually a Kryptonian word." He pushed Tim back slightly then to gesture at the symbol on his chest. Tim let go of his neck long enough to run cool, thin fingers over the Kryptonian glyphs on his chest. "It means to proceed. To move forward."
"Rrosh," Tim repeated again, still fingering the glyphs.
"Almost got it that time," Kon said with a soft smile. Tim smiled back at him.
"I'll get it," he promised.
"I'm sure you will," Kon said. "Most people think it's an English word. Rush. But..."
"But it's Kryptonian. For moving forward."
"Exactly."
"I like it. But it does beg the question: What are you moving towards, exactly?" Tim asked with a smile.
Kon felt his heart stutter in his chest a little.
What was he moving towards?

Kon had just turned around for a moment to buy Tim a packet of spiced nuts. When he turned back to call for Duck, the small dragon was gone.
