EXTRAS.

𝐁𝐈𝐎𝐆𝐑𝐀𝐏𝐇𝐘 —

Jiāng Huifen, also going by Vivien Jiāng, was born in Atlanta, GA, the second child of a Foundation researcher and an academic at Emory University. Shortly after her second birthday, Jiāng’s mother left her father, citing personal differences as the primary thrust behind that. As a result, Jiāng and her older brother Tristan (n.b. Dr. Tristan Jiāng is also a Foundation employee, currently working as a researcher at Site-██) were primarily raised by their paternal grandmother, while their father (later an Administrator at the Decommissioning Department) busied himself with work.

Reports from Jiāng’s schooling at the time describe her as “a teacher’s delight” while others note that “while Vivien is quite adept at her schoolwork, she could take more time to work with her peers, rather than against them.” MySpace posts at this time in her life describe her as “a fucking narc” or as “the kind of person that literally no one would put on their top 8.” In school, Jiāng excelled, eventually attending Brown University to study English, with a specific focus in chivalric romances, with her undergraduate thesis focusing on the figure of the loathly lady, specifically in relation to vows and promises. During the summer, she undertook several publishing oriented internships, though none of them extended job offers after her tenure with them.

Seeming to not find success or interest in the world of editing, Jiāng turned her attention to becoming a librarian, enrolling in the University of Michigan’s Master of Information Science program, originally intending to specialize in library science and archive management. However, due to reasons that she has not elaborated on, in the second and final year of her degree, she turned her focus onto cybersecurity and digital file management systems. After the completion of her degree, Jiāng was recruited into the Foundation, serving as an Assistant Analyst for RAISA’s Document Recovery Division, working from a basement cubicle on Site-87, and providing recovery support for most of the Midwestern USA.

It is at this point that Jiāng’s record veers into the realm of semi-interesting– following a rabbit trail of incongruous files and discrepancies in deleted files, she alerts higher ups that her father, in his administrative position, had been broaching sales of decommissioned SCPs with outside parties of interest. These SCPs primarily were focused on semi-sentient computing, which is how Jiāng noted them in the first place, at least according to her own accounts. With this decrying of her own father (which lead to his termination), Jiāng found that her career shifted tenor– she was moved to Site-7, to assist with the Archival Department located there, and told to work on maintaining and digitizing the RAISA archives as a Junior Archivist.

In that capacity, she predominantly focused on infohazards and catching discrepancies across various digital records, while also developing her own side projects of securing the digital records based on various weaknesses that she had noticed over her overall tenure at the Foundation.

In the midst of this, she brought further attention to herself, in identifying [KING’S GAMBIT] attempt to [REDACTED]. While this did not provide her the prior career advancement that she had previously found, it has emboldened her to repeatedly email regarding ways in which the protocol records of the Foundation might be improved, amongst other concerns.

things from the last time with tristan, got a little out of control. but she didn't regret anything, despite trying to follow her conscious, her unconscious is what is commanding her actions. let's she had a lot of kisses & a little more, when the kids were asleep. now she found herself, in his place again, after tugged dominique to bed & wait the right time to her daughter got a deep sleep. with mimi, there's always a 'rite' to tug her in bed.

she was watching tv at his side, with her cheeks blushed, let's be realistic, she wasn't paying attention to any movies when she visited tristan. two times, turns out a make out session. ❛ Let's play a game ?! ❜ she suggested, despite of knowing a bit about him, she doesn't tristan very well. her lips may know well his lips, or hands... other than that, or what he does... nothing.

001. When is their birthday? November 9. Tristan: Zero belief in zodiac signs and yet the most Scorpio person you will ever know.

002. Do they do anything to celebrate their birthday?

It isn't truly up to him. In the de Martel household Tristan makes a monumentally gigantic deal of Aurora's birthday and she does the same for his birthday. He is at the mercy of her celebratory designs during that day.

The Strix can also organize something for him. This turns into a sitcom when they try to prepare some birthday party behind his back but the whole secret society ambiance leads Tristan to interpret the sudden whispers as a sign some ungrateful member might be planning to overthrow him. Hilarity ensues, they all have a good laugh about the confusion in the end and it almost never ends as a secret cornerstone of Australian history....Almost never.

003. Does your character like coffee better, or tea?

He favors one over the other wholly depending on what country he is currently visiting.

Favorite coffee: Shakerato with a touch of Venetian blood.

Information for Hope: The complete opposite of black coffee even when that is what most people expect of him. Tristan has a surprisingly sweet tooth for a vampire (Sweet fang?) As much sugar as cordially possible, a loyal friend of cream and not one to reject a spoonful of ice-cream if the possibility exists. Tristan's coffee is basically just a dessert in disguise.

Favorite tea: Earl grey with a splash of milk, two or three spoons of sugar and just a taste of London blood.

Information for Hope: Just...Ignore the blood part and add another spoon of sugar instead?

004. Do they prefer being alone or with others?

So...It is complicated.

The perspective of a lonely Tristan:

One of the first things imparted to Tristan as a kid was that he was meant to be a leader and replace his father someday. People were supposed to be his element. In spite of this he had a very stubbornly lonely childhood.

The count wasn't precisely the most approachable man and Tristan realized at a very young age that both nobility and servants saw him as a way to influence or gain the favor of his father. He resented most of them and cared very little for their company.

As a young boy he spent a lot of his time wandering the castle or exploring the exterior on his own, daydreaming, reading, making a passionate case as to why he should be allowed to learn how to wield a sword and an axe before the common age and secretly walking the darkest corners of his home in the dark of the night, convinced that the ghost of his mother would surely visit him one of these evenings if he just kept trying.

He didn't truly have friends his age. Although being where he shouldn't be for the seventh time one week, he managed to befriend a particularly rebellious and fierce puppy that came to be a sort of companion for a while and grew up to become his personal hunting hound.

During his teenage years he finally grew in diplomacy, taught himself how to influence others and embraced the circle of people that was expected of him. But even then the only person he sincerely found reason to care about and worthy of genuine affection was his sister. And his father...Sort of. Kind of. Not really.

He is better alone. He is far stronger alone.

Tristan, considering why in the world would he expose himself to the impending danger of Mikael slaughtering him just to help the first Strix members:...Fine. Stop with the puppy eyes. Ill adopt you all. Just...Don't make me regret this.

Tristan: And if you open my wallet you will find a photo scroll of the few but irreplaceable vampires I turned myself. Or how I like to call them: The brightest stars under the night veil. I am the proudest sire of them all.

Tristan: Have I talked to you about Strix member number 167 yet? Isn't it incredible how this warrior refined his skills throughout the eternity? Oh an isn't the talent of this one artist utterly breathtakingly? So much uniqueness! So much greatness!

Tristan at any point in time: If ANYTHING happened to my beloved sister I would burn this whole world in scorching, agonizing flames without a second of hesitation. Myself included.

005. Are they in good health?

Psychically speaking? Absolutely if you don't mind the whole undead factor. He is a perfectly healthy ancient vampire who doesn't neglect the occasional fencing practice.

Mentally?...There are a couple of demons lurking underneath. Specially if we are talking about a verse occurring after the years trapped beneath the ocean. But most of the time he will do everything in his power to keep that to himself.

List of all pre-2009 Christoph Waltz Films and TV series I could find on the internet so you could have the pleasure of viewing them online for free and have a nice little arranged list that you could refer to so you don't have to go searching everytime. The list is in ascending order according to the year the movie was made in.

I had to divide this into 3 different posts because it's so long. I originally made this on the phone's notepad.

(Keep in mind, you can always show more love and support to the work by actually buying and keeping a physical copy, especially for some of Christoph's better works in the past. Not to mention hard copies are nice and permanent and you can organise them all on your special CW shelf if you happen to have one :D)

I will update this if I find more stuff and put any more notes, credits or summaries where necessary. Feel free to suggest any additions.

[001] the face of any products // the closest endorsement tristan has is with fender, but he’s not so much the face of the company as much as a partner. they’re actually releasing a guitar he designed this year.

[002] open about their private life // no, tristan is very adament about keeping his public life and private life separate and has a history of having a very volatile relationship with the paparazzi because of it.

[003] an advocate for any charities // when he believes in them, yes. he won’t donate just for the sake of looking good, and will only give money to or make appearances for causes he actually cares about.

[004] involved in a relationship for publicity // though his management has tried several times to find a girl that’s ‘good for his image, tristan refuses because he has a very honest relationship with his fans.

[005] where they are because of dishonest / shady moves // tristan has mad a lot of mistakes in his career, but integrity is important to him. if he’s done anything shady in his career, it wasn’t intentional.

WHO DOES YOUR CHARACTER

[006] @ / retweet regularly // his fans actually, but it’s very random and only when a tweet generally makes him think or makes him laugh. he’ll usually add some kind of ‘witty’ comment because he thinks he’s funny.

[007] mention most in interviews // his band who have been with him since he was playing smoky bars for tips. he very rarely mentions his family or friends because he doesn’t like talking about his personal life.

[008] go to when they need some help // usually his siblings, because they do maintain a good relationship most of the time and he values their opinions the most since they’re not afraid to be honest with him.

[009] idolize / adore more than life itself // he has so many heroes in the business that he’s been lucky enough to meet and even play with. jimi hendrix is the GOAT for him though, his number one.

[010] want to end up with (in their dreams) // at the end of the day, tristan just wants to be surrounded by a bunch of good people. if he has his family, his band and some good friends then he’s good.

WHAT WAS

[011] the first thing they tweeted // tristan’s twitter was originally made by his manager so for the first year, he never signed into it. until one night he couldn’t sleep and started tweeting back at fans at 2am, which he still does.

[012] the first event they got invited to // the premiere of some movie when he was just starting to get famous because they used one of his songs on the soundtrack. his wardrobe for the night was questionable.

[013] the last (non work related) vacation they took // traveling is very important to tristan and he tries to visit a new country, tour dates don’t count, every year. this year it was the prague in the czech republic.

[014] the first thing published about them on lounge // some photos leaked of tristan and his then girlfriend, who wasn’t famous and lounge posted an article about them from a ‘trusted source’ that was entirely made up.

[015] the project that made them want to act / write / sing / etc. // tristan grew up listening to 80s rock... but it was actually marty mcfly’s guitar performance from back to the future that inspired him to pick up the instrument.

WHY

[016] do they put up with all of the bs that comes with the business // music is who tristan is. it’s all he knows. it’s in his bones. and he can’t imagine his life without it. everything else is just a side effect.

[017] did they pursue the career they’re currently in // tristan never meant to become the pop rock star he did. he just wanted to play music, as part of a band or whatever. the solo career happened on accident.

[018] did they choose the media persona they did // there is no persona, what you see is what you get. tristan has never pretended to be something he wasn’t. the media likes to portray him as a bad boy but... that’s on them.

[019] do they hate gossip magazines so much // he’s always been so honest to his fans about his music and his career but he’s always wanted to keep his personal life separate. tabloids do the opposite.

[020] would they ever make a sex tape // no way. not only does he have no interest in that kind of thing, but sex is a very intimate act and he’s such a private person anyway, he would never risk something like that leaking.

WHERE

[021] did they hear their first song on the radio // he was driving by himself on the highway on the way home after a string of shows and actually had to pull over. then he just laughed because why would anyone play his song?

[022] did they find out they’d landed their first project // he had just walked off stage at a smoky bar in new york city when a man approached him to set up a meeting. he signed a record deal the next day. it all happened very fast.

[023] did they go on vacation after their first big project // after the initial rush of first radio single/first album/first real tour, tristan did some traveling through some of his favorite countries in europe, mostly touristy places like france, italy, germany, spain.

[024] do they live when they want to get away from it all // london will always be home for tristan, but he gets recognized a lot on the street so lately he's been spending a lot of time in the irish countryside and he enjoys it a lot.

[025] was their first big press conference // in london outside of his record label's british sister label, announcing his first full studio album after the surprising success of his debut single.

WAS THEIR FIRST

[026] project embarrassing // embarrassing isn't the right word, but he was still learning a lot about himself, his sound and the recording process then, so it's definitely not his favorite work but he's proud of it.

[027] talk show appearance a wreck // there was a whole "practice" session with his publicist, then in true tristan graves fashion, he went completely off script. so while not a disaster in his eyes, the label wasn't happy with it.

[028] public relationship heavily followed // if tristan had his way, he wouldn't have any public relationships but with his celebrity status it's near impossible to completely evade the gossip, so yes.

[029] fan encounter awkward / nice / sweet / etc. // the first time tristan was recognized outside of a show or work environment, he was grocery shoopping after midnight in pajamas. his hair was a mess and he hadn't shaved but the girl was still excited and got a fun story to tell.

[030] relationship (while famous) talked about at all // tristan has only ever been in a relationship with one other celebrity and that person was a lot more open with their personal life than he was. there were a lot of tabloid stories, most of them false but some things were real so that whole experience was eye opening.

WILL

[031] they ever open any sort of business // there have been rumors about tristan selling his own line of everything from clothes to amps to guitars and even a strange little rumor about male grooming kits but no he doesn't currently have any plans.

[032] they ever win a major, prestigious award // tristan was actually nominated for a grammy for his second studio album but he didn't win. obviously that's something he'd like to cross off the ol' bucket list, but he doesn't make music for awards.

[033] they ever host the smn version of saturday night live // that's been a dream of tristan's for so long and he recently got to be the musical guest on an episode but has not hosted yet.

[034] they ever work tirelessly for years to get a project going // there have been albums released a year apart and there was a three year hiatus once. he writes all of his own music and despite constant pressure from the label, he never wants to rush an album.

[035] they take pictures with fans who approach them on their off time // it honestly depends on what he's doing, where he is and who he's with... and his mood that day. he's usually okay with it but everyone has off days.

DOES YOUR CHARACTER

[036] invest their money wisely // tristan has never really been a big spender. he has expensive things but is more likely to spend it on guitars than fancy things. he did splurge on a house for his family, a penthouse for himself and a cool car though.

[037] work only on projects they love // now more than when he was younger and let a movie use his song for the soundtrack before realizing the film was rubbish. every song he puts out comes from the heart and integrity is so important to him.

[038] care more about the fame than anything // it's never been about the fame for tris. it's always been about the music... but it does go to his head every once in a while. he's only human.

[039] often find they’ve put their foot in their mouth // oh, all the time. especially when it's late at night and he's drunk tweeting. orrr anytime he opens his mouth. he says a lot of stupid shit but he doesn't mean any harm.

[040] hide things from the public because they are afraid / ashamed of what the reaction could be // while he tries to keep his personal life separate from his professional life, it's never been because he's ashamed. he's a very honest person and he's unapologetic about who he is.

DO YOU HONESTLY THINK YOUR CHARACTER

[041] is a good person // yes, but he's flawed like any human being. the media paints a picture of him being an asshole but that's only partially true. he has a good heart underneath the bad boy persona.

[042] will have career longevity // yes, to an extent. music is a big part of who he is as a person and he can't imagine his life without it. he knows that the fame and fortune will inevitably fade away but as long as he can keep putting out music he'll be happy.

[043] deserves the career they have // tristan puts his heart and soul into his music. he's involved in everything from the writing to the producing to the performing and everything on between.

[044] can remain unjaded by hollywood // as long as he has the freedom to make the music he wants to make instead of conforming to what a label or anyone else wants him to be, sure. the moment he changes into something he's not is the moment he walks away.

[045] will spend the rest of their life with the person they marry // given that he has no immediate plans to get married, that's up in the air. he's called a heartbreaker by the media but he would never cheat so if he ever does get married, he will be loyal to that person as long as they are.

[046] date / marry a fan // probably not, if only because he would spend the entire relationship wondering if they married tristan the person or tristan the celebrity.

[047] star on any type of reality show // no way. he hates reality tv and has probably turned down an offer to appear. he might cameo on a show or movie franchise he's a fan of but never reality tv.

[048] donate to charity / do good deeds without publicity // he actually does this on a regular basis. he has a few charities he holds close to his heart and is very involved in one called music cares. though some of his appearances are publicized, not all of them are.

[049] say exactly what they think about the ins/outs of fame // probably not directly but he's definitely made indirect commemts about his feelings on the industry.

[050] walk comic con without any security (in or out of disguise) // no because getting recognized would ruin the fun of going AS a fan. maybe in a costume but again, probably not.

Final 002/Two Journal Entry from Tristan Spohn under the cut! First one over here, second here.

We hurt 011 really bad-- I hope we didn’t take it too far but I lost it. I couldn’t see straight I just exploded.

She is not too bloody so I dont think Papa will notice. Maybe he will see she is clumsy to get hurt all alone.

004 & 005 would not stop laughing which was really annoying. They dont take anything seriously they laugh & laugh. Do they not realize how dangerous she is? Even in the room-- I felt her power-- I do not understand it. Its not stronger than mine, but is stronger than all the others. Even stronger than 003 i think. But 003 is more quiet-- he outsmarts the others but isnt very brutal. Hes too goodn-natured. But he still does everything I say. I think 003 is my best friend and 005 is just too stupid to think for herself.

I dont think 011 will tell Papa but Im scared about what would happen if she did. I worry I was too reckless-- if he finds out would he keep me here forever?

I would rather die than watch 011 leave before me. I hope we didn’t break 011 too bad because otherwise Papa may have questions.

I do not know but I cannot sleep. 004 & 005 keep laughing I hear them through the walls. They think her face looked so funny. But I think they just like feeling strong for once in their entire lives. 003 understands he’s the only one that does, I think.

how high (or low) is the tone of their voice? are they loud or quiet?: her vocal levels range, going high and low thanks to her need to be animated, but when she’s speaking normally, she’s a little on the higher side.

what is their laugh like?: she laughs with her whole body and constantly covers her face. her laugh is more like a giggle, but when she laughs uber hard, there’s no sound except her occasional wheezing.

HEADCANONS

001. her relationship with her dad started to go downhill as jihye grew older and she noticed the difference the day after her father had told her that she was beginning to look, and act, more like her mother.

002. continuing on the same topic as the above headcanon, she doesn’t dislike her father, nor is she angry with him. she understands his issue isn’t with her, it’s just that he’s still having a hard time over the loss … that doesn’t stop her from blaming herself for his broken heart and the death of her mother.

003. she suffers from insomnia, she thinks, because she’s forced herself to stay awake for so many years. she’s suffered from a reoccurring nightmare, specifically of her mother, so to stop it from happening … she’s done what she could to stop herself from sleeping. now, it’s just a habit. she seems to get tired when she’s not meant to sleep.

004. flowers & nature are her favorite things to photograph, and paint. she also gets enjoyment out of painting portraits of her friends, with flowers ( which she associates with that specific friend ) as the backdrop.

005. she makes a lot of the clothes she wears for school. her students even help her out sometimes by creating the stencils or giving her patterns.

006. she also has a habit of bringing it a white maxi dress at the end of the school year and has her students put their handprints / draw small pictures and write their name underneath said handprint and/or picture. then she stores them so nothing happens to them.

007. she makes it a POINT to stay in contact with the parents of her past students, along with the students themselves. she’s very invested in them and their education, and she likes to watch as they grow.
