Belle concepts by me!

- for some time I wanted to make Belle a one-of-a-kind engine, one built on sodor specifically for firefighting purposes but it made my brain hurt too much 😭😡

- Belles number in the show was carried by an actual GWR 6100 class and I like that basis a lot more than a BR 4MT because it allows for more historical shading, its pretty on brand for real life locos to be made into thomas characters, and also its easier to draw,

- instead of having water cannons I gave her firefighting gear styled after the gear fitted on LBSCR D1s. I considered putting the water cannons on her tender instead so it would still resemble the original design but I like the historical accuracy more

- I cant for the life of me find a reference for a fire train arrangement so I just made one up based on what I thought would be logical 😅

- I think Belle's bell in universe has completely unknown origins, her builders just went "we need a bell" and some hurried workman ran outside (accompanied by crashing and cat screeching) and brought it back in like "ok dont ask which school house I stole this from just weld it to the cab"
