A du Mortain is really like the spiritual opposite of friends with benefits. Romance without Perks.

Spoilers for Wayhaven Book 3 - A Route (Yes it's that part)
I just had to post this because this just beats Tu Omnia on so many levels for me.
IT WAS SUFFOCATING. IT WAS FREEING.
IT WAS EVERYTHING.

Honestly my detective will probably end up way more affected by the events of book 3 than anything in book 1. Cause almost dying? Pffft. But putting innocent people in danger and failing again and again to protect them? Oh that’s gonna scar her for life.

Ok I have to know, how does everyone’s Detectives feel about Rook?
Bc my main Detective, Callum, dislikes him. Feels he’s been trapped in the shadow of a dead man all his life. His mother couldn’t bear to be around him after Rook’s death. Since joining the force he keeps hearing about him. He’s his own man, and he hates being compared to him.
So with the end of book 3... I predict a hiccup in Rebecca and Callum’s relationship as long-buried resentment rises to the surface.

I can’t help but feel kind of disappointed by the ending in M’s route when he goes to the detective’s room and the way their scene was written if it’s their first time being intimate. My detective and Mason hadn’t even kissed up until that point, so some acknowledgment of that, by both of them, would’ve been nice. It just seemed like it was written for those who’ve already had intimate scenes with M.

book 3 feels veeeeery much like someone tellin a story with beats they know they wanna hit but they're not QUITE sure how they wanna get there? so everything between the two or three mildly interesting bits of story is just filler.

Question about Wayhaven Chronicles: Book Three
SPOILER ALERT
Can someone tell me the key choices that affect Sin's decision to join the Agency?
I can't understand this pattern, because he refuses in Nate's route and Adam's route, but agrees in Mason's. And I'm pretty sure that love interest can't be a matter in this, yes? So please help me understand. Thank you!
Crying for help @wayhavenguide
