i'm replaying P3P and just wanted to share a lil bit bc its my fave
Reverie Vantas the Third is the most dog person of the Persona protagonists, I don't know what Theo is talking about.
Akihiko looks great in the winter outfit. You gotta accessorize when you're gonna punch monster to death.
(Actually he's been healing a lot more this playthru and can someone explain why tf Akihiko's Dia does 64HP and Yukari's does 53HP when they are the same level? wtf is that shit)
Anyway I mentioned I love the summer vacation episode in P3P the most. Part of it is that it opens strong with everyone being gay for Mitsuru.
Yukari and Fuuka are gonna roshambo for who gets to help Mitsuru with her sunscreen.
But also its PEAK Akihiko+Junpei Autistic-ADHD Bro Show and I love it.
Junpei is "we need to get girls" and Akihiko is like "Nah" and then Junpei is "oh so you're admitting defeat" and Akihiko is like "BITCH?"
They split up to attempt girl-pick-upage and just.
Akihiko cannot stop infodumping.
oh my god lmao whatever girl told Junpei "please move, you are blocking the sun" is my hero l m a o
boys boys, you're both idiots, no need to fight!
Junpei spots the new party member and tries to chat her up, one last shot, but Aegis plays an uno reverse and the shot reflects and executes Junpei instantly. tragic.
i'm SORRY i just. Aegis has her own fixations and they don't overlap with Akihiko's special interests, so she is utterly immune and it's so fucking good. lmao.
"That type of information is irrelevant to me" CACKLES
fun fact akihiko is undefeated as the top boxer at school and i think he cares about winning soooooooooooooooooooo much more than he lets on
Junpei spots Aegis heading off into the forest alone and

India Bans Exports of Some Rice Varieties: How This Has Impacted Prices Globally in The Country
In July, India banned the export of white rice that is not basmati amid decreasing public stocks within the Central pool, a rise in prices for cereals, and the looming possibility of an uneven monsoon.
The first Advance Estimates of the major Kharif harvests for 2023-24, published by the Ministry of Agriculture & Farmers' Welfare on Friday, proved that concerns about a decline in the Production of rice were false. The ministry estimates the Production of rice to be 1063.13 Lakh Metric Tonnes (LMT) in Kharif 2023-24. That's 3.7 percent lower than 1105.12 LMT recorded in the same period last year.
We examine the ways in which India's restrictions on rice have impacted the availability, supply, and prices in both domestic and international markets during the month.
Have India's restrictions increased the cost of rice across the world?
After India stopped exports of white rice that was not basmati on July 20, there was a dramatic increase in rice prices across all markets. In the months following, the prices have slowed; however, they are still above the levels of pre-ban time.
According to the Rice Outlook of the Economic Research Service, US Department of Agriculture, "Over the last month, the quotes on trading prices for the majority of kinds of regular (neither aromatic nor parboiled whole-grain milled sorghum from Thailand fell by 5 to 6 percent, mostly due the weaker the baht. In the week that ended October 10, Thailand's 100% milled long-grain rice of Grade B for export was listed at $595 per tonne, lower by $34 compared to the week that ended on September 12, but up more than $60 per tonne beginning in July, prior to the introduction of India's export restrictions in July and into August. The price of Thailand's rice increased rapidly between late July and mid-August mostly in response to India's export ban for July white rice that is regularly milled."
Has there been any impact on the prices in the country of rice?
There's been no respite from the rising price of rice despite the ban on exports. According to the information available on the UPAg portal of the Agriculture Ministry, The average daily retail price of rice was the price of Rs 5,800 per quintal on October 24, 2023. This was 27.43 percent more than the previous month (Rs 4,208.57 for a quintal), 18.42 percent greater than prices (Rs 4,731.32 per quintal) when the government launched that it would be implementing the Open Market Sale Scheme (OMSS) on January 25, 5.82 percent higher in comparison with the cost (Rs 5,462.06 for a quintal) at the time that the government introduced export regulations on August 27 2022 and 3.21 percent higher comparison against the rate (Rs 5,613.60 for a quintal) one year ago.
The prices for retail are higher than the previous year. For example, the average daily price for rice at retail was reported at 42.80 per kilogram on October 24. This is 12.59 percent higher than the previous year, as well as 11.72 percent more than the day that the government introduced the regulations for exports.
On July 20, the day that India prohibited exports of white rice that is not basmati, the daily average cost of the rice was reported at 40.89 per kg. This was 11.42 percent more than the same time last year. The cost of wholesale for rice was reported at the price of Rs 3,587.34 for each quintal on July 20 20th, 11.95 percent higher than a year earlier.
What is the process by which India exports its rice? What is prohibited and what isn't?
India is the largest exporter of rice across the world. According to the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA), India accounted for around 40 percent of all exported rice (56 million tonnes) around the globe during the year 2022.
The exports of Indian rice are generally divided into basmati and non-basmati rice. Non-basmati rice comprises six sub-categories:
Rice in husks of seed quality.
Rice that is not in Husk, rice husked (brown) rice and rice parboiled, white rice from non-basmati broken rice.
Non-basmati white rice.
Although the government has prohibited exports of two sub-categories of broken rice as well as non-basmati white rice, there's no restriction on the other four sub-categories.
Basmati Rice
In the year 2022-23 financial year, the country's export of basmati stood at 45.61 lakh tonnes. Iran, Saudi Arabia, Iraq, UAE, and Yemen were among the top five destinations for Indian basmati between 2022 and 23. In total, India exported basmati to more than 149 countries in the previous financial year. In the initial five months (April-August) of the current fiscal year (2023-24), the export of basmati rice exceeded 20 lakh tonnes.
Non-Basmati Rice
Non-basmati rice is comprised of varieties such as Sona Masuri or Jeera rice. In the fiscal year 2022-23 (April-March), India exported 177.91 lakh metric tonnes of non-basmati rice, of which 78.48 lakh metric tons was parboiled rice. This was followed by white non-basmati rice (64.01 lakh metric tonnes) and broken rice (30.49 lakh tonnes). The three other categories accounted for less rice in husks: other rice (4.61 lakh tonnes) and rice in husks that is seed-quality (19.68 thousand tonnes) as well as rice husked (brown) white rice (11.65 thousand tonnes).
Non-basmati White Rice
Of the 64.01 lakh metric tonnes of white non-basmati rice India exported in the previous financial year, the highest amount in the range of 5.82 lakh metric tons was exported to Benin and Benin, followed by Madagascar (5.55 LMT), and Kenya (5.46 LMT). Cote D' Ivoire, Mozambique, Vietnam, Angola, Togo, and Nepal were other countries that were among those who purchased the most from India's nonbasmati white rice. All told, India exported the non-basmati white rice to 142 nations in 2022-23. A majority of these were poor and found in Africa.
In the first five weeks (April-August) in the present fiscal calendar year (2023-24), 19.74 lakh metric tonnes of non-basmati white rice was exported to 117 nations, including Kenya (4.12 lakh tonnes) tops the list, and then Mozambique (2.01 lakh tonnes) along with Vietnam (1.53 million metric tons).
The exports of non-basmati white rice to India were 52.19 lakh tonnes in 2021-22. The same amount was 42.34 lakh tonnes in 2020-21.
Prior to the time that India prohibited exports of white rice that were not basmati in the early 2000s, 86-88 nations, mostly poor-income countries, were purchasing more than 4 lakh tonnes of this type of grain coming from New Delhi each month from April to June 2023. But when New Delhi banned exports, the amount of grain shipped out decreased marginally to 3.8 lakh tonnes metric in July. Then, it plummeted in the next month of August (0.39 thousand metric tonnes). It was reported that the number of nations that import Indian white rice, non-basmati, fell to 25.
Despite the ban, non-basmati white rice exports are permitted as a result of "permission granted by the Government of India to other countries to meet their food security needs and based on the request of their Government.
Broken Rice
Before India prohibited exports of rice in September of last year, each month, 40 countries imported more than 4 million tonnes of damaged rice out of India. Following the time that New Delhi banned the export of broken rice on September 9, 2022, there were fewer countries affected, dropping to 21 in September and dropping to 6 in October.
In the year 2022-23, India's export was 30.49 million metric tons, of which 12.80 million metric tonnes were exported to China, which was then Senegal (10.26 thousand metric tonnes), as well as Indonesia (1.94 million metric tons).
ParboiledParboiled Rice
The definition of parboiling in the dictionary parboiled's is 'partly cooked through boiling.' Therefore, the term"parboiled rice" refers to the rice that is partially boiling in paddy form prior to milling. There is no restriction on the export of this type of rice coming from India. Between 2022 and the 23rd of this year, India traded 78.48 lakh tons of parboiled rice to 131 nations. Benin (9.69 lakh tonnes), Bangladesh (7.26 lakh metric tonnes), Guinea (7.07 lakh metric tonnes), Cote D' Ivorie (6.97 lakh metric tonnes) along with Togo (6.89 lakh tonnes) were among the top five importers of Indian parboiled rice in the most recent fiscal year.
In the initial five months (April-August) of the fiscal period 2023-2024, 37.72 million metric tons of parboiled rice have been exported. This is 19.28 percent more than 31.62 lakh tonnes of parboiled rice during the same time in the year before. For the fiscal year that is currently in operation, Benin, Guinea, Togo, Somalia, and Vietnam are the top five purchasers of Indian parboiled rice.
Husked (Brown) Rice
Hushed (brown) rice rice that has only the Husk was removed, whereas the brown rice is not polished. A total of 11,656.86 tonnes of rice husked (brown) rice were exported out of India in the fiscal year 2022-23. This was 76.80 percent lower than the amount (50,249 metric tons) exported in 2021-22. The Netherlands, UK, USA, Saudi Arabia, and Canada were the top five buyers of this kind of rice in the previous fiscal year. In the initial five months of the current fiscal year, only 7,146 tonnes of shucked (brown) rice were exported.
Rice in Husk of Seed Quality
In the fiscal year 2022-23, a total of 19,681 tonnes of 'rice in husks with seeds of good quality' were sold. In the initial five months of the current fiscal year, the exports of this type of rice were at 10,697 metric tons.
Other Rice in Husk
India exported 4.61 thousand metric tonnes of "Other Rice" in Husk in 2022-23, of which 98 percent went to Nepal. In the current fiscal year, the country exported 2.02 lakh tons of rice was produced in the initial five months. Nearly the entire quantity was exported to Nepal.
Rice purchase, a requirement
The total Production of rice in 2022-23 will be a record-breaking 1357.55 thousand tonnes. This is up by 62.84 lakh tons from the previous year's Production, which was 1294.71 lakh tonnes. It is also higher in the amount of 153.65 lakh tonnes over the previous five years' average, which was 1203.90 thousand tonnes.

I am now going to post a series of images.
For the record, these are two characters appearing in the early to mid 2000s TV show Invader Zim. The human's name is Dib. The alien's name is Zim. This is from a popular ship of the two primary characters of the show, commonly known as ZaDr in the community (Zim and Dib romance).
I do not like this.
I get that technically he got upaged, but also, he is 12. Zim is like, at least 100. You can say "he's 12 in Irken years", or something, but like, he's been a soldier, and before that, a scientist, for longer than the kid has been alive. There's nothing you can do to make this fucking gross ass ship not weird. And adding in the fet element only makes it weirder.
Bad. It's all bad. This is a bad, pedophillic ship. Stop it. Get some help.
