I'm working on the fourth Monsters of Faery book, featuring Vaduin (one of the Furies), and it occurs to me that when it comes to the Raven Court boys and being horrible monsters, the situation is pretty much this:

Not pictured: Pelleas Xirangyl hogtied in the trunk.

Ayre is flamboyant as hell about being a horrible monster with a human soulmate. Full-on embracing being a manticore. Took Lilly's name. Who'd want to keep his father's last name??

Meanwhile Varis is like... grimly holding onto all the fae protocol he loves. All these draconic biological drives are for the birds.

And Pelleas is of course [redacted].
