Don’t start me on the Gilmore girls revival, Amy has problems!!! She’s a psycho!! Hahahaha It had some pretty amazing individual moments, a lot of fan service bringing most of the characters, but the actual storyline was insane! That woman is insaaaane lol

The musical??? I love musicals and we did not need that one to be that long! I'm sorry Bunheads didn't work out (I really am!) and am always here for Sutton Foster but the length was unnecessary. I feel like characters went backwards as opposed to forwards in ways that didn't fully fit or feel satisfying (fully outing myself as a Logan girl here... yes, I know... I was young and impressionable when I first came into contact with him...also I think I saw the episodes where he is at his most charming before I ever encountered Jess). And while I'm on my 'be more like Friday Night Lights' soapbox, whyyyy did she keep breaking up Lorelai and Luke? Why did Lorelai marry Christopher?

I read somewhere (I think), that the ISU was thinking of doing a bubble for worlds? Was that ever a thing discussed or am I creating things in my head?

I don’t remember reading anything about that, but it might be a plan? I don’t know how they are going to execute though. By making all skaters and their coaches to arrive to worlds two weeks early so they can quarantine? Without leaving their rooms and no ice time? I don’t see that happening.

Plus, skaters leaving their countries to go quarantine is a risk itself. And the gathering of people in the same place (even if it’s just the hotel).

Nickname? None - I’ve always been envious of people with nicknames!

Real name? Not for this blog ;)

Zodiac? Leo all the way

Favorite musicians or groups? Lately I’ve been enjoying Metric again, Lewis Capaldi, Meg Myers cover of Running up That Hill, and a bunch of stuff I heard in people’s programs at Canadians. One and Sound of Silence from Cinematic Pop.

Favorite sports teams? The two sports I follow with any regularity are figure skating and curling. At this year’s Canadian curling championships I really liked the team from Saskatchewan (Silvernagle) but was happy with Manitoba (Einarsson) winning and would have been fine if Ontario (Rachel Homan) had won, too. If somebody could win something at the next Olympics that would be great.

Skating wise I really enjoyed all of the top 3 Canadian pairs, and I am coming around on Gilles/Poirer. I like Lajoie/Lagha so far but also hope they keep maturing and build their partnership.

Other blogs? Yes but never the twain shall meet.

Favourite food? spicy carbs. i.e. sweet potato tacos or bowls, curries, etc. Also chocolate cake with vanilla frosting.

Drink of choice? A manhattan or variation. 

Instruments? none

Languages? English is my first language. I can understand French moderately well, and used to be fluent in German.

Celebrity crushes? I mean I would probably follow the entire Bon Appetit Test Kitchen into battle at this point. Also Tessa Virtue.

10. What, if anything, are you going to try to do differently in your writing in the new year?

Ohhh, this is an interesting question! I think I’d like to focus on enjoying the process more. Sometimes I feel like all I want out of my writing is to Finish It, and sometimes I rush scenes too fast. I’d like to linger in scenes a little bit more, give my writing some space to breathe. I also need to be comfortable with the simple truth that there will always be more ideas than time to write, haha.
