I've never seen anything written by Mindy Kaling or any show she's acted in, so when I heard the new Velma shos was going to feature Velma as a South Asian, I was excited. That was until all of the terrible things in the show and now learned of how Mindy Kaling only ever writes South Asian women as loser characters with all the same insecurities being brought up again and again, as well as her weird obsession with white men. Enough Mindy, enough with your self inserts, enough with writing the loser brown girl with the "hairy gorilla arms" that only ever takes me back to my own insecurities, enough with passing off your terrible representation as good representation just because it's representation.

I think one of the main reasons I just can't really seem to get attached to sisyphus (prime, ultrakill) is because he is yellow and kinda veiny in texture and thus reminds me too much of this thing from ffxiv

for those who don't play ff or had the joy of experiencing the pre-endwalker reword of summoner, this is a titan summon or "egi" that summoner could call upon, it was one of three thar would just hang out with you the whole fight and all of them supposedly had their own purpose with titan being intended to be the tank-egi at some point....

...but lets be real everyone just used ifrit or garuda also everyone calls him the nugget because he looks like a chicken nugget...also the fact that sisyphus has a big rock and titan is a big rock also doesn't reall help.
