Some people find them boring, but I like that they are different from majority of the pairs
They skate well, they have interesting details and lifts, Marco always looks so sure in all lifts that I am not afraid he'd drop her or wobble
And as a bonus I really like the GS costume 😊

GPF Torino 22 - Guignard/Fabbri - Free Dance
Elements:
DS2 (lost 2 levels) | SlLi4 (i love the innovative positions and punch with the music, but it has a v clunky exit) Twizzles 4+4 | OFT 3+2 (Marco exited early) | StaLi4RoLi4 | ChSq +3 | CiSt 2+3 | Choreo Slide +2.73 | Choreo Spin +3
Program: My Love Will Never Die, Mephisto's Waltz
I really wish this program built better than it did... I love a lot of the moments in this, especially since it is such a different vibe for G/F compared to their usual fare. But it doesnt really feel like a lot of thought was put into the composition of this program, and how to highlight the theme, the music and G/F's skills. Instead, it just kind of drags on from the One Foot Sequence on.
Even if Marco and Charlene were still able to perform what they are given well today, it definitely doesn't feel like it was a program made for them. They are normally so much more innovative and take lots of risks with difficult and unique technical content that they are able to make look seamless... but here, there were SO many exits and transitions out of elements that were just... clunky. And that OFT? It was so textbook that I think I've seen the same steps and timing done from C-tier teams who didn't get Grand Prix assignments... I just have so much higher expectations for them, and KNOW that they can do sooooo much better than this. I don't even hate the program, it just needs to be reworked STAT.
Score: 122.29 for a total of 206.84 into 1st.

GF say they’ll have to rewatch their performance in video, but they’re over all pretty happy and satisfied. They quickly looked at their marks and they feel like they expected a bit more in some GOEs. They also expected the placement they got, but they were hoping for a smaller gap between them and the top two places. They also commented on how great it was to skate in front of a home crowd even though they felt a higher pressure to perform well, and how they’re going to focus on every detail for the free skate
