My ZhongPei works for Kio as a part of the 3rd DZZS exchange! Find it on Ao3 here, and while you're there check out the rest of the exchange collection! There are 73 of them, totaling at 555,856 words and 21 fanarts of SHL, TYK, QY, LLD, and JZEU ✨
They're all incredible but alsooo if you're interested in more ZhongPei, my gift was a fic for them from the lovely nerdyjellyfish, and it is so good, definitely check it out!! If you're not familiar with Unique Lady or Cosmetology High that's fine, as always you can often jump into jzeu works without much knowledge of the source material. Sometimes they're pure vibes anyway. You can just think of them as AUs or something haha

Little Sugar Man
This little cutie is very carefully holding his treat in both hands!
The inspiration for this fig is Gong Jun's character Prince Zhong Wumei from Unique Lady I & II:
Tumblr media
I like this BTS picture since it's showing off the sugar animals! I've never had a sugar stick animal before - they're enormous! They look cute and fun.
Tumblr media
This fig had a bad habit of arriving broken in people's warehouses and homes. There were many cases where his neck broke clean off! When that happens I think it's either the fig engineering, where the delicate neck has too much pressure on it, or the fault of the packaging - there's not enough support for the fig. Or both!
My friend got her Wumei with the neck broken. The warehouse, for some strange reason, glued it back on. Unfortunately, they made a complete mess of the glue, so it arrived at my friend's house looking like a disaster. She had to reorder another fig. Which also arrived to the warehouse broken! She left very clear instructions this time to not glue the fig, so at least she finally got one.
Tumblr media
Very luckily for me though, this little man arrived safely. I was actually quite concerned about the sugar stick pig - I mean, look at it! It looks so delicate. Sometimes I think it's a miracle that these figs arrive (generally) intact at all after traversing around China, taking the long trans-Pacific boat ride, and then suffering through our less-than-gentle package services here the US.
Tumblr media
Aww he doesn't look very happy at all, even with his cute little treat! I have to admire his beautiful costume - the wonderful gold pattern detail, and the nicely done gold tassel on the waist ornament.
Tumblr media
I know you can't see it in the inspiration picture, but apparently he usually wears his hair with this one long wispy piece of bangs off to the left side.
Tumblr media
I say "apparently", because I've seen a lot of photos of Wumei, but I haven't yet gotten around to watching Unique Lady yet. I'd say I was going to watch it after I finally finished The Legend of Yunxi and then The Blooms at Ruyi Pavilion, but honestly we all know that instead of any of them, I'm just going to watch An Le Zhuan when it comes out instead (very shortly, I hope!).
Tumblr media
This proud prince does not stand on his own at all. I propped him up against the back of my countertop to take the header picture, and then immediately put him on a stand. Since he's so prone to breakage, I didn't dare try to not secure him.
Tumblr media
His feet are on the smaller size, so the fig stickers poke out a bit. You can't really tell in real life, but of course with the camera it just pops right out.
Tumblr media
No side wisp of hair here!
Tumblr media
I like the arrow pattern on his guan. We also get a nice shot of the gold pattern on his right lapel, as well as another good look at the sugar pig.
Tumblr media
Huh. I think I actually see a very thin hairline crack there on his right (our left) temple. I definitely had not seen that on the fig. Maybe we can see it better when we get to the top down angle.
Tumblr media
His little shoes are so cute! Boots, I guess, not shoes. I wish all fig makers would make feet a little bit wider than the common fig sticker size for easy sticking. The bigger the feet the better, honestly. It doesn't make them any less cute, it just makes them more stable!
Tumblr media
You can't really see his black pants under his robes because of the shadows, but they're there, tucked into his boots.
Tumblr media
Oh jeez, it really is a big crack. Oh no! My Wumei did not escape unscathed after all. Wow, there really was issues with something on this batch. I don't think that's fixable...at least by me, with my rudimentary abilities. That's OK. I didn't notice it until now, so it's not actually as bad as it looks.
Interestingly, another thing I just noticed is that his hair is purposely not symmetrical. Because he has the single side bang, his hair is pulled back into his topknot differently on either side. What a great detail!
Tumblr media
Ah yes, we can even see here on our right side how his hair is pulled up differently. Very nice!
Tumblr media
So frowny! And with such a delicious treat, too.
Material: Resin
Fig Count: 421
Scene Count: 29
Rating: Very sweet (and maybe a little salty!)

→ We Are The Champions episode 3 is now available for free (also on YouTube), episode 4 is available with VIP access.
Additional Reading: → Flora’s daily fan news thread → Next week’s post will be late as I’ll be in transit back to Canada. My regular posting of space notes and such will resume after that since I’ll have stable internet again. 🥳

Ethylparaben Market Analysis, Key Trends, Growth Opportunities, Challenges and Key Players by 2030
It is estimated for the Global Ethylparaben Market to grow at a healthy CAGR during the forecast period of 2022 to 2030. The market witnessed growth at a stable CAGR during the previous forecast period of 2018 to 2021.
The antibacterial agent ethylparaben is created naturally and can be found in a variety of fruits and insects. Ethylparaben is primarily utilised as an antiseptic in food, medicine, and cosmetics (E number E214). Additionally, it can be used to kill microorganisms and preserve feed. Ethylparaben is easily absorbed through the skin or the digestive system. Without building up inside the body, it is hydrolyzed to p-hydroxybenzoic acid and quickly eliminated in urine. Other than colour additives, cosmetic items and ingredients do not require FDA approval before being put on the market under the Federal Food, Drug, and Cosmetic Act (FD&C Act). In 1981, there were two general concentration ranges indicated for each product category: > 0.1% to 1% and 0.1%. Studies demonstrate the in vivo estrogenicity of MP and EP at levels of human exposure and suggest that populations exposed to high concentrations of MP and EP may have a high burden of diseases associated with estrogenicity.
A preservative called ethylparaben stops the growth of bacteria, fungi, and other germs in cosmetic products. Lotions, creams, lipsticks, deodorants, shampoos, and some medications like eye drops or mascara all include ethylparaben.

Peerless Little Prince - New Year's JZEU Series (11)
We continue along in the Junzhe Extended Universe with our sparkly-eyed tsundere prince, Zhong Wumei.
Gong Jun played this prince in Unique Lady 1 and Unique Lady 2. This is higher up on my to-watch list since the clips I watched previously were so cute, so one day!
The inspiration for this particular figure is this costume:
Tumblr media
This is the first fig in this series that is resin! As you can tell by the packaging:
Tumblr media
Since all the figs in this series have been PVC to date, it didn't occur to me he might be made of a different material. I didn't bubble wrap this little guy like I normally do. Luckily, he arrived safe and sound.
Tumblr media
And here he is! The little sideways smile is of course my favorite expression - it's cute and mischievous!
Tumblr media
He actually has more personality from this side angle! It's the sparkly eyes and the rascally smile that does it!
Tumblr media
I like this fig's asymmetrical costume a lot, as well as the fact that he's wearing a cloak. I don't have many figs that have this little extra accessory.
Tumblr media
Our Wumei has a lot of hair tied up in his half ponytail here.
Tumblr media
I like the slight swish of the cloak off to the side.
Tumblr media
This fig stands really well. Of course, he goes on a fig stand like all the rest of my figs, but he's nice and stable to begin with, which is good. I've noticed that some figs that are heavy and very off center to begin with, often stretch out the fig stickers.
Tumblr media
Cute little rosy cheeked prince!
Tumblr media
This is a great angle to see his asymmetric hair whispy. It looks like he's leaning waaay forward in this pic, but it's a little bit of the angle that I took it at. He's the got the tiniest bit of Fig Forward Lean to compensate for the weight of all that hair, but it's not quite as much as it looks here.
Tumblr media
And back around! It's a bit of a unique touch with his costume here that the outer robe splits in the front to show off his pants and boots. I'm so used to the costumes that go all the way to the ground, or just graze the top of the boots. The pattern on it is clear and sharp on it too - beautiful!
Tumblr media
Little better view of the pants and boots, as well as the underside of the cloak. May I also just take a minute to say how much I appreciate it when figs have nice wide feet like this - makes it so much easier to balance / stick them firmly on the stands. A lot of figs have tiny little feet that are like 2/3 the size of this.
Tumblr media
That guan isn't messing around! Has to be heavy duty to hold back all that hair.
Tumblr media
Speaking of hair, this is not an uncommon view from the back of a costumed fig, although I want to say that higher circled piece that's pulled back there on the left is unique to the figs I've seen.
Tumblr media
This box card is super cute. It's in the form of a video game character info block, similar to the concept of the film! The stars rate the following characteristics (in poor MTL):
Overbearing ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Witty ⭐️ Distinguished ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Appearance ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Ahahaha! Poor Wumei, I guess he's not funny at all! But he's not too overbearing, so that's good! Too funny.
Tumblr media
Here's the back - I really do like the video game conceit!
Come back tomorrow for the next fig in this series!
Material: Resin
Fig Count: 314
Scene Count: 23
Rating: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ +⭐️!
