Gotta say I feel like the rock is going too far with somethings.... it's feeling more like older wwe back when it was wwf....

Back when concussions didn't matter and back when if someone bled it was the whole reason they fought, considering WWF was Waaay more intense. This storyline is actually super similar to stone cold Steve Austin fighting Kurt Angle.

Idk who's watched older wrestling but there was an episode where Austin was going to "throw angle off a bridge tied to a chain and like block into a river" he did throw him into a kitty pool, but the story was still there and that could have been the bit.... but in reality this is a wash repeat story....Kurt and Austin are doing stuff similar. hell Cody gets the Kurt angle treatment even!

But I couldn't watch that when it happened I remember that scene making me nauseous bc you never knew what they'd do during that time, and seeing the rock full on fuckin hit Seth and Cody with a very much so real hefty leather belt makes me very nervous.

Though I will say I think we are forgetting who Cody is, this was the guy who fought with a torn pec....this is the guy who still did a hell in the cell match with Seth Rollins and took a absolute fucking beating and was severely injured, and not to mention beats Seth! He is handy capable of handling pain, and said that he was in immense pain after that match, so y'know...Cody will push himself to the limits is all...

So it's severely worrying but also, I think Cody knows what he is doing, it's nerve racking but also I think he's consenting to this after all a lot of wrestlers sometimes miss the hardcore aspect of wrestling.... that's why Adam, Christian, and like Jeff+Matt Hardy. Went to aew....
